So that has the Washington ComPost and Howard 'the Scream' Dean shrieking in fright. How could a college dropout run the country. Of course, none of them dare to think about how elitist that sounds, especially when studies show only two out of five Americans have a college degree.
But is a college degree all it is cracked up to be? Is anyone really smarter because they have the sheepskin on the wall?
Take Joe Biden for instance. He has a law degree from Syracuse University College of Law, and is quick to tell you how high of an IQ he has.
But Crazy Uncle Joe's "high IQ" doesn't stop him from putting his foot in his mouth, like he did yesterday (NYMag).
During a speech in Iowa, Vice-President Joe Biden gave a shout-out to a dear old friend, or, as he put it, a "butt buddy."
"Neal Smith, an old butt buddy," Biden said. "Are you here, Neal? Neal, I miss you, man. I miss you."
In case you're not aware, the term "butt buddy," as defined by NYMag is "a term used by middle-school boys to describe inseparable friends who, owing to their close friendship, are probably doing it."
Liberals who claim to be such champions of gay rights love using the term, as commentator Jimmy Williams did back in 2011 on Dyan Ratigan's MSNBC show when discussing Grover Norquist.
“Grover Norquist was Newt Gingrich‘s butt buddy.”Glenn Beck discussed that clip on his radio show.
Kind of like the media outrage this caused back in 1992.
