Desperately Seeking GloBULL Warming...Away For A Few Days For Business, Sun & Fun

Yes, it's that time of year. I'm going away on my yearly business trip for my "day job" where I'm spending a lot of time at sports bars and other places, making business deals with potential clients.

I couldn't have picked a better time to fly out of town. Tomorrow, is supposed to be more snow showers, plus snow here in the 'burbs of DC...in late March?!?!?!?!?!

We keep hearing about gloBULL warming being the cause of everything, including the loss of the Malaysian Airlines 777 (yes, libs have gone that far), so I've had enough of the "polar vortex" and am desperatly seeking some "climate change."

Which is why I'm glad my business will take me to sunny, warm Central Florida.  That is, except for the daily 3 pm thunderstorm you can set your watch to. It's a beautiful area too. I was last there in 1983 and 1985 for a family vacation (if I haven't yet, I'll have to tell the story some day about the drenching rain at the shuttle launch pad at Cape Canaveral).

So, I'll be away for a few days, but will be back at ya next Monday!

Have a good week!  I'll be having an iced tea by the pool.

Beijing Hotel Staff Reportedly Fed Up With Moochelle Obama & Her Entourage

Another taxpayer-funded lavish trip for The Queen, and her attitude is rubbing the staff at a Chinese hotel wrong, according to The Blaze.

A “well-placed” staffer at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang hotel told the Daily Mail that the Obama women have inconvenienced “pretty much everyone” while the first lady’s mother, Marian Robinson, has been “barking at the staff” since she arrived.

“We can’t wait for this to be over, to tell you the truth,” the staffer said. “We entertain many important people here, but this has been, I think, very different.”
Now the hotel workers are about “fed up.”
The Daily Mail has more details:
Government security forces from both China and the U.S. started Thursday to screen everyone who entered the building, including paying guests, setting up checkpoints that resemble those at airline concourse entrances.
The Secret Service’s monopoly on the hotel’s highest floors has meant the Westin had to boot guests with previous reservations out of their executive-level rooms.
Secret Service agents are also monopolizing hotel elevators long before the Obamas need them, added the staffer, who identified himself as a member of the concierge staff and spoke English during a phone call on Friday.
The Westin Beijing Chaoyang hotel’s website describes the 3,400-square-foot suite Michelle Obama and her family are staying in as an “oasis of comfort.” It includes a “private steam room, corner sofas with silk pillows” and in-room dining for six. They also reportedly have a 24-hour butler at their disposal.
Here's some photos from the Westin website showing the Presidential suite that Mooch and family are staying in, first the bedroom and then the living area.

Remember this the next time the Obama's talk about "income inequality."

(VIDEO) How's Obama Handling That "International Crisis"? Acting Like A Celebrity Instead of Leader of the Free World

Remember right before the 2008 Presidential election, when then Senator Joe Bite Me said?

"Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy," said Biden to a roomful of donors. "The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America."

"Remember I said it standing here, if you don't remember anything else I said," Biden continued. "Watch, we're going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.

"I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it's going happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate."
Well, we've talked about this before, but let's see what that "brilliant" Senator who was elected President not just once, but twice, is doing.

Instead of staring down Putin, who is trying to rebuild the former Soviet Union, Obama is acting like a celebrity, as if he were an American Idol contestant instead of leader of the free world.

Going on the Ellen show to promote his failed health-care scheme and having a wealthy, cut-off-from-reality liberal talk show host gush all over him.

Or, he's busy doing his NCAA Final Four brackets.

That's when he's not heading off to a fundraiser, or another round of golf.

Don't you feel relaxed, knowing our American Idol President is in charge?

Oh, as a flashback, here's how a former Hollywood actor (mocked by liberals as an "extremist" and "amiable dunce") looked at the former Soviet Union, without delusions of who they really were.

Big difference huh? And that forceful leadership was what crumbled the Soviet empire, not the weakness we see today in Obama.

Why Did Virginia State Legislature Approve Democrat Resolution Honoring Mosque Linked To 9/11 & Fort Hood Terror Attacks? Sign Petition To Express Your Opposition

Found out about this by an e-mail from Act for America.  Too many in our local, state and national legislatures are willing to turn a blind eye to radical jihadists.

That's what happened in the Virginia House of Delegates, who passed a joint resolution commending the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, VA.

From Walid Shoebat:
If this mosque sounds familiar, it should. Anwar al-Awlaki was once an Imam there and it was attended by 9/11 hijackers.
Via Understanding the Threat (h/t CHHR):
On Wednesday, March 5th, Virginia House Joint Resolution 484 was passed which commends Hamas’ Dar al Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Virginia. Without becoming entirely sarcastic, the question has to be asked – is there a functioning brain cell at the State House in Richmond. Has the ability to reasonably process factual information completely evaporated from numerous elected officials in the state of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson?
Before we even look at the factual evidence that Dar al Hijrah is a Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas entity, we need to look no farther than the resolution itself to see the gross negligence of Virginia’s elect – at least those who voted for this resolution. The sixth of the eight total lines in the resolution reads: “WHEREAS, the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center is affiliated with the Muslim American Society, a national religious, educational, cultural, and charitable organization…”
Actually, the Muslim American Society (MAS) is a Muslim Brotherhood front group.
Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of government entities in the U.S. is very quickly reaching critical mass. This move by the Virginia State House is not subtle and it cannot be spun. It is a signal that the Muslim Brotherhood in America is no longer tip-toeing deceptively toward victory. It is clearly picking up the pace and Americans continue to remain largely quiet.
What the Virginia State House has done is blatant acquiescence to America’s sworn enemies. It is treasonous, it is traitorous, it is criminal, and any state legislator who voted for it has violated the most important oaths of office.
As we wrote earlier this week, in Illinois, Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of government can be found at city, state, and national levels. Virginia is clearly suffering from the same affliction. Last week, we learned that Rep. Gerald Connolly (D-VA) (MIM note, he's known here as "Jihad" Gerry Connolly) is scheduled to appear at a fundraiser sponsored by the Brotherhood.
The text of the resolution:

HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 484
Offered March 3, 2014
Commending the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center.
----------
Patrons-- Lopez, Kory, Plum, Sickles, Simon and Watts
----------
WHEREAS, the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center, a nonprofit organization in Falls Church, celebrated 30 years of serving and uplifting members of the Northern Virginia Muslim community and conducting outreach to the region in 2013; and
WHEREAS, founded in 1983, the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center traces its roots to a house in Falls Church that was chosen for its proximity to the Washington, D.C., metro area and its thriving Muslim community; construction on the current facility began in 1986 and it opened in 1991; and
WHEREAS, the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center works to strengthen the Muslim faith in the region through seminars, sermons, lectures, social activities, and clear operational hours for the observance of daily prayer; and
WHEREAS, encouraging the members of the Muslim community to become productive members of society, the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center promotes cooperation, tolerance, and mutual understanding among different faiths; and
WHEREAS, the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center conducts outreach in the community, offering educational classes and making charitable donations to those in need; and
WHEREAS, the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center is affiliated with the Muslim American Society, a national religious, educational, cultural, and charitable organization; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED by the House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, That the General Assembly hereby commend the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center on the occasion of its 30th anniversary; and, be it
RESOLVED FURTHER, That the Clerk of the House of Delegates prepare a copy of this resolution for presentation to the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center as an expression of the General Assembly’s admiration for the center’s commitment to serving the Northern Virginia Muslim community and peoples of all faiths.
The VA Delegates listed as patrons of this commendation: Alfonso Lopez, Kaye Kory, Ken Plum of Reston, VA, Mark Sickles, Marcus Simon, and Vivan Watts are all Democrats. Back in 2010, a fundraiser was held for the mosque that listed former Governor and DNC Chair (now US Senator from Virginia) Tim Kaine, Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chair Sharon Bulova, and US Reps. Jim Moron and "Jihad" Gerry Connolly as invited guests. Everyone except Connolly later returned the invitation and it is not known if Connolly attended. What is it with Democrats and their symbiotic relationship with radical jihadists and the Muslim Brotherhood front groups?

ACT for America has a petition to express your opposition to this resolution here.

Here are the Democrat delegates who came up with the resolution. Be civil and express your displeasure.

Government Run Media? South Texas TV Station News Team Hosts Obamacare Phone Bank

KGBT-TV "Action 4 News" in Harlingen, TX became a mouthpiece for Obamacare enrollment earlier this evening, as the station hosted a "phone bank" on the (Un)Affordable Care Act.
Action 4 News is teaming up with Doctor's Hospital at Renaissance and Driscoll Health Plans to host a phone bank for the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
The first phase of the ACA went into effect back on October 1st.
Officials say more than 4.8 million Texans do not have health insurance.
The Rio Grande Valley is one of the areas most in need.
Action 4 News teamed up with Doctors Hospital at Renaissance to answer your questions.
We held a special phone bank from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19tth.
The goal was to help Valley residents better understand how the Affordable Care Act works.
If you do not have health insurance, there are four ways to apply for Affordable Care Act insurance:

• Apply online. Visit HealthCare.gov to get started.
• Apply by phone. Call 1-800-318-2596 (note the phone letters: 800-F**-CKYO) to apply for a health insurance plan and enroll over the phone. (TTY: 1-855-889-4325)
• Apply in person. Visit a trained counselor in your community to get information and apply in person. Find help in your area at LocalHelp.HealthCare.gov.
• Apply by mail. Complete a paper application and mail it in. You can download the paper application form and instructions from HealthCare.gov.
From Twitter:

The station even did a similar phone back back in November 2013, the video is below.

Why is a mainstream media news outlet, which we are told are supposed to be "unbiased" watchdogs acting as a bullhorn for propagnada about the federal government's failed health care scheme?

Never mind the unscrupulous behavior of the former director of Texas health care "navigators" that was caught on film, as well as instances of encouraging fraud.

That's what a lot of respondents on Action 4's Facebook page are asking?

Can you say "Government Run Media?"

Why Did Lehigh College In PA Have (C)Rapper & Commie Angela Davis Lecture On Abolishing Prisons?

This is what passes for "higher education" these days? (WFMZ News).
BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Imagine there are no prisons; it may be hard to do. Yet that is exactly what social activist Angela Davis challenged an audience of about 725 people to do Monday night at Lehigh University in Bethlehem. The program’s topic was “Mass Incarceration: The Prison Industrial Complex.”

Older Americans may remember Davis as an attractive, young, black radical with a huge Afro. She has been an outspoken advocate for social justice and equality since in the late 1960s. She was a member of the U.S. Communist party and a member of the Black Panthers.

Now 70 years old, it soon became obvious age has not dulled her radical edge. She is a lecturer and a professor at the University of California-Santa Cruz, where she teaches courses on the history of consciousness and feminist studies.

She also is the author of eight books, including “Are Prisons Obsolete?” and a founding member of Critical Resistance, a national organization dedicated to the dismantling of the prison industrial complex by “challenging the belief that caging and controlling people makes us safe.”

Davis shared Lehigh’s stage with Nas, introduced as one of the greatest hip-hop artists of all time. His musical career has spanned more than 20 years. He has released 10 studio albums and sold more than 25 million records worldwide and received 11 Grammy nominations.

...Joining them was Dr. James Peterson, director of Africana Studies and associate professor of English at Lehigh.

With Peterson serving as moderator, the three of them sat in a living room setting, complete with a carpet and coffee table, on the stage inside Baker Hall in Zoellner Arts Center.

The enthusiastic people in the audience applauded so frequently that they sometimes drowned out the speakers while they still were talking.

...Peterson called Davis “a revolutionary activist” and “arguably the greatest activist of the 20th century,” which generated cheers and applause.

Nas told Davis he was honored to be sitting with her, because “you’re my hero.”

She in turn praised Nas, saying it is through culture that most people develop their political consciousness “so thank you for your work.”

Peterson said both Davis and Nas have addressed prison issues in their work from the very beginning, through his music and her social activism. Both said they have friends in prison. And, while she only touched on it briefly, Davis has been in jail.
Yeah but the reporter Randy Kraft doesn't tell why Davis had been in jail.  As written here before and on Wikipedia.
On August 7, 1970, Jonathan Jackson, a heavily armed 17-year-old African-American high-school student, gained control over a courtroom in Marin County, California. Once in the courtroom, Jackson armed the black defendants and took Judge Harold Haley, the prosecutor, and three female jurors as hostages. As Jackson transported the hostages and two black convicts away from the courtroom, the police began shooting at the vehicle. The judge and the three black men were killed in the melee; one of the jurors and the prosecutor were injured.
Davis had purchased the firearms used in the attack, including the shotgun used to kill Haley, which had been bought two days prior and the barrel sawed off.[18] Since California considers “all persons concerned in the commission of a crime, whether they directly commit the act constituting the offense... principals in any crime so committed,”
Unfortunately, Davis was acquitted in 1972.

Oh, and this Nas.  Michelle Malkin wrote about him in 2008, where he was complaining about Fox News for "racism" in "smearing" his false Messiah Obama.

Classy guy, huh?

And those clowns spoke at a university about prisons?

Like I said in the beginning, this is considered "higher education?"

A Living Miracle: A Personal Story Of Faith and Family

Regular readers might have noticed a silence of postings here and at my Facebook page during the first week of February, as well as very few "tweets" for my Twitter followers around the same time.

While the political battles and outrages waged on, my mind and heart was somewhere else besides politics, the daily outrages, and promoting conservative ideas.

A couple of hours before lunch on Monday, February 3, I received a phone call from my baby sister (if you have a younger sibling, they're always your baby!) while I was at my day job. Calling during work isn't a good sign, we usually talk every other weekend or chat on Facebook.

My instincts were right. She called to tell me they were on the road to Central Texas from their home in Aggieland, as our father had been sent by ambulance to the hospital, and was going to undergo emergency surgery. The problem? Dad had an aortic aneurysm that was rupturing, and it was noticed by the EMTs in the ambulance when his blood sugar shot up. Even worse, he had been told years earlier by his doctor when our parents still lived in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas that it was inoperable, that if it ruptured or burst, the risk was too great and it would be the end. He'd accepted that.

But all that changed when he was rushed to the hospital. I was constantly nervous of the phone ringing, and also checking airfares from the DC area to either Austin or San Antonio, the closest airports to where my parents live, in case things took a downward turn and I needed to take an emergency flight there.

Yesterday afternoon, I saw a video of Dad being wheeled down the hallway of the rehabilitation center to the applause of the nurses and staff, as he was leaving to go back to the house where he and Mom have lived for almost two years. He said after he got home he thought on the ambulance ride to the hospital a month earlier he wouldn't make it back to the house.

The doctors have all said it is a miracle. Dad has survived something for which there is not a high survival rate. In fact, one patient who had the same surgery before Dad did died on a lifeflight helicopter ride to Austin. There were so many other elements in the process that all worked out in his favor. He'd felt dizzy that morning and told Mom he'd needed help, which is unusual for Dad, being the hard-headed German who won't tell you if anything is bothering him. Additionally, one of the best surgeons for this type of procedure was at the Central Texas hospital that Dad was admitted to that morning. In a case of life and death, there are always minutes and seconds where decisions are made that make a difference. That happened with Dad.

So, this is Dad's miracle, and one for our family that we still have our father, husband, and the Opa/Peepaw to his two grandsons. But this miracle did not originate from the work and timing of finite humans, or what is left of the greatness of our healthcare system (I really don't want to become political here). There was something else involved.

That's where faith comes in.

Those closest to me know that this past year has been one of the most difficult in my life, probably since the struggles I faced when I first left home about this time 22 years ago to enter the "real world." In the last few months, I've undergone personal loss and heartbreak that has forced a great deal of self-examination. I think there have been times here in blog posts I may have referred to myself as a "backslidden Christian," but my recent personal trials have led me back to embracing a belief, faith, and trust in God. I've been down the road of self-destructive behavior back in my late teens and early 20s, and know where it leads. This time, there was no other place to turn. Don't misunderstand, faith doesn't make me a perfect person, nor does it make me "better than" everyone else. The only difference is that I've put my trust in a loving God.

Faith and the power of Prayer was the only thing that got our family through this last month and a half with Dad. It was the first thing I did after receiving the news of Dad's condition and surgery. I believe with all my heart Dad has been given the gift of a second chance at life from God, to use to serve His purpose. But there was also a lesson in all of this for Mom, my sister and I--God is in charge, and it is a daily lesson to remember that and cast our cares upon him, because it is so easy to forget and think that it is all up to us. What I've seen and need to remember is that if God can work a miracle in something as major as saving a human life, He can do the same for whatever else we may be going through.

So that is where I've been these last few weeks and months. To those reading this, I'm not sure what may be going on in your life: good or bad at the moment. But I hope that if you're hurting, searching for answers, and maybe stumbled upon this post, that what our family has gone through might be of help and encouragement to you in whatever it is you may be going through.

Fundraiser For "Jihad" Gerry Connolly Being Held By Muslim-Brotherhood Allies

From the Washington Free-Beacon, that treasonous Congressman who "represents" those of us living in Virginia's 11th Congressional District.
U.S.-based Muslim Brotherhood allies Akram Elzend and Sameh Elhennawy will co-host a fundraiser for Connolly later this month at the Fairfax residence of Mohamed Mohamed, according to a copy of the invitation obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

Attendees of the March 22 fundraiser are asked to donate between $150 and $400 in order to attend the event, where supporters will have a chance to “express appreciation and have direct conversation with” Connolly, according to the invitation.

A form attached to the invitation asks donors to include their personal information and contains a message that the materials were “paid for and authorized by Connolly for Congress.”

The event has attracted the attention of some U.S.-based analysts who track the Muslim Brotherhood, particularly due to a pro-Morsi rally several weeks ago in New York City that featured anti-Semitic displays and was organized by a group Elzend cofounded.

Both Elzend and Elhennawy have been tied to Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood and were listed as U.S.-based cells of the group, according to a report in Egypt’s El Watan newspaper.

They also were identified on a list of Morsi supporters in America who issued an Arabic statement demanding that the former president “cleanse the media and police.” The statement additionally hailed Morsi’s power grab in Egypt as “one of his revolutionary decisions.”

Elzend is a co-founder and chair of the pro-Morsi group Egyptian Americans for Democracy and Human Rights (EADHR), which held a rally last month outside of the Saudi Arabian consulate in New York.

Demonstrators at the rally were caught accusing the Saudis of trying to “sell Egypt to the Jews” and of being “dirtier than Jews,” according to video of the event published by the Investigative Project on Terrorism (IPT).

While Elzend’s EADHR later attempted to distance itself from the rally following negative press coverage, the group neglected to scrub several tweets organizing and promoting the rally, which was just one in a series of EADHR-sponsored pro-Morsi events.
As a flashback, Connolly earned the nickname "Jihad Gerry" because of his support for the Islamic Saudi Academy as Fairfax County Board of Supervisors chairman, taking campaign money from Islamists, and his appearnaces with radicals like Imam Mahdi Bray at various events

Connolly stood up for Islam when he demanded Pat Roberston apologize for comments, but attacked religious leaders who protested contraception coverage mandated in Obamacare.

CPAC Blogger Briefing On Immigration Overshadowed By Ann Coulter's Obscene Rape Comment

This past Saturday, I attended the bloggers briefing held by the Eagle Forum on immigration reform that featured Glyn Wright from the Eagle Forum as well as the group's founder (and pioneering woman in the conservative movement) Phyllis Schlafly, Steven Camarota of Center for Immigration Studies, and commentator Ann Coulter.

In light of what happened by Ms. Coulter, and the controversy she ignited, I'd like to put the briefing in context.

I agree with Coulter and the organizers of the event...immigration is one of the most important issues facing the nation and it's future.  The facts that Ms Wright and Mr. Camarota are important for all Americans to digest and contemplate, such as how "immigration reform" has increased the low-income population and stagnation in wages and employment.

Here are the statements by Wright and Camarota, made before Coulter spoke.

Then it was Ann Coulter's turn. Now I'm far from the type of apologist who is quick to condemn any statement by conservatives deemed "incendiary" by liberals and their media apologists, plus I have not been a big fan of Coulter in recent years because of her unapologetic crooning for loser Mittens Romney, her refusal to be questioned about her flip-flop on the guy, plus her bashing of Sarah Palin (many times) and Ted Cruz. To be fair, some of Coulter's "incendiary" statements I've agreed with, because they were said in a way to tweak liberals who'd excuse what Coulter is mocking.

One statement Coulter made at the briefing was one I found funny, “My whole life, I’ve heard, ‘Republicans are racist, don’t like black people, don’t care about black people. I never believed it until I read Marco Rubio’s amnesty bill.”  There's truth in that. Who does amnesty hurt the most?  Poor blacks, as well as whites, Hispanics and teenagers because they are passed over for jobs in favor of illegal aliens. Why? Cheap labor.

But then Ann Coulter couldn't help making a conservation about an important topic about Ann Coulter by...well, being Ann Coulter. She said (clip below - WARNING...GRAPHIC LANGUAGE, NSFW).

“This isn’t natural. You have, especially on places like my favorite network, for humor, is MSNBC — and you know, they’re smearing, ‘Oh, Republicans just have to get used to it, the country is changing.’ No, this isn’t a natural process. It’s like you’re being raped and the guy is telling you, ‘Sorry, my penis is in you. Nothing you can do about it.’" (laughter and groans)“‘No, you’re raping me!’”

You can see Camarota bury his head in his hand and Schlafly grimacing after Coulter made the graphic comment about the male appendage inside her.

So what has happened?  The facts and analysis on this important issue of immigration have been overshadowed because liberals like the putrid Alan Colmes, the George Soro$ funded Media Mutters, and People for the UnAmerican Way's "Right Wing Watch" (among others) have latched on to Coulter's obscenity.

Like I said, sometimes incendiary comments need to be made to make people think or to take on the Left's fire breathers.  But way too many times, like when she used an anti-gay slur against that slime ball pretty-boy ambulance chaser John Edwards, Ann Coulter goes beyond the pale. It almost like she comes into a conversation being held in a crowed room and lets out a loud fart in order for everyone to know she's taken over the discussion.  She's unladylike.

Even more hypocritical, who was it who told Republican candidates to "knock it off with the philosophy on rape and incest and abortion"?  Ann Coulter, who also said Todd Akin should have gotten out of the race for his absurd comment, calling him "selfish swine."

So, do Ann Coulter's rules about what subject Republicans/conservatives can or cannot talk about not apply to her? That how liberals act.

Sarah Palin at CPAC 2014 - Reads "Green Eggs & Ham" While Taking On Liberals & GOP Establishment

Former Alaska Governor (and 2008 Presidential Candidate) Sarah Palin closed out CPAC 2014 with a speech that took on not just the Obama Regime, but also the Republican Party establishment who have gone out of the way to go after conservative and Tea Party voices within the party.

Like last year, when she held up a Big Gulp to take a swipe at Nanny former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Palin brought another on-stage prop, a copy of Green Eggs and Ham (a la Texas Senator Ted Cruz, who read it on the Senate Floor during his filibuster last September).

Except Palin read her own version of Dr. Seuss' classic.

Palin also reminded the Republican Party establishment that "you didn't build that" when it came to the 2010 mid-term wave election that brought control of the House back to the GOP, it was the Tea Party that made that happen.  "It's time we send them reinforcements."

Palin took issue with GOP elites who "subscribe to the old saying 'don't interrupt them when they're in the process of destroying themselves. It may be true, but you do interrupt when they are in the process of destroying your country. And that's what we're gonna do!"

Taking on the failures of the Obama Regime, Palin noted how, among other things, Obama promised to "heal" the rising of the oceans, but she noted, "the only thing rising in his la-la land, is the Russian Empire. I'm probably being a bit hard on the President, after all, who could have seen this coming?" which is a play on how Palin was mocked in 2008 for warnings of what we're seeing Putin doing today.

Palin also took on the culture battle and the phony "war on women" narrative, telling the audience that what liberals have offered women is not liberation but subjugation.

Here is Palin's entire speech in four parts.

Pat Caddell - GOP Consultant's Strategy "Do Nothing, Say Nothing & We'll Win In 2014 Is A Hell of A Way To Lose""

Former pollster for President Jimmy Carter and Fox News contributor Pat Caddell spoke to attendees at CPAC 2014 today as part of a panel entitled "Clairvoyance and Hard Data: Electoral Trends for 2014, 2016, and ... 2040."

Caddell said the GOP consultant class, whom he ripped at last year's CPAC, are employing a new electoral strategy of "stand for nothing." "The notion is if we do nothing or say nothing we'll win in 2014. That's a hell of a way to lose and it has repercussions."

In one issue, the "nuclear option" used by "Dingy" Harry Reid in the Senate, Caddell said the GOP should have shut the Senate down and said we will stand for the Constitution, "they didn't and never do."

On national security, Caddell said nothing illustrated more of what was wrong with this country than Benghazi.

"I believe John Boehner cares about his country, but apparently its about fourth or fifth on his list. When you have 180 members of the Republican caucus demanding a select committee, this isn't about politics, it's about truth, the central truth that has not been address is where was the President that night?."

Here's Caddell's entire portion of the panel. It speaks bad of the GOP leadership and establishment when Jimmy Carter's former pollster speaks with more passion and with more clarity than they do.

Rick Santorum At CPAC 2014 - "Let Them (Left) Divide, Let Us Unify"

Former Pennsylvania Senator and 2012 GOP Presidential Primary contender Rick Santorum spoke earlier this afternoon to CPAC attendees.

In the clip below, Santorum spoke of how his campaign appealed to, as he called them "working Americans" while asking why some in the GOP want to use the Leftist term "middle class."

Santorum noted that was what the Left does, pit classes of groups against each other.

"Let them divide, let us unify."

IRS Scandal A Topic At CPAC 2014

The ongoing scandal of the Internal Revenue Service oversight and scrutiny of conservative, Tea Party groups was a topic at this year's CPAC.

Earlier this afternoon, a panel consisting of Eliana Johnson, a reporter who has been on the story, and former Delaware Senatorial Candidate in 2010, Christine O'Donnell, and attorney Cleta Mitchell, was held.

O'Donnell discussed how it was revealed to her that an IRS employee access her tax records and put out a story about a lien overdue on a property she once owned, and how it was used to discredit her campaign.

Right before this panel took place, Andrew Langer.  Phil Kirpen, and head of the Faith and Freedom Coalition, Ralph Reed, discussed the IRS scandal and proposed regulations that would put more oversight on political action groups to bloggers.

Reed said, during a comment period onthe proposed regulations, his organization was able to submit 140,000 comments on the proposed IRS regs. “Andrew and I had early strategy call about this. He has more experience filing. The roadmap he provided was critical. We have 800,000 members, donors, activists in our or datbase and we add 1,000 new members every business day.  We had18,500 members in one week during the thrust of IRS campaign. (Rep.) Dave Camp was marking up the regulations the next day. We feel strongly about this, as one of the things that separates the United States from every other nation in the world is that the government derives legitimacy from consent of the governed. We believe these regs in their current form the ability to post voting records, or non partisan voting guide in 30-60 day before and election would have prevented influencing legislation." Reed called the regs an "existential threat to the survival of our citizenship as well know it today."

Kirpen noted that of the 143,000 comments that went to the IRS, many were not entirely from conservative groups.  The Sierra Club and the ACLU were opposed and even the NAACP filed comments near the end of the time period opposing the proposed regs.

The three noted that the thrust of the IRS abuses come from Senate Democrats, such as the Brooklyn ambulance chaser Chuck Schumer, primarily after the Citizens United decision by the Supreme Court. These Democrat Senators are willing to silence their own grassroots in their main effort to "shut up" conservative political speech.

A public hearing is to be held by the IRS, but no date has been set.

CPAC - Day 2

Circumstances beyond my control kept me away from the first day of CPAC, but I was able to make it today for the second day of the annual conservative event at National Harbor, Maryland.

Who's Cooking The Books, Jihad Gerry Connolly?

That embarrassment of a Congressman representing the area I live in, "Jihad" Gerry Connolly, showed his willingness to cover-up for Obama Regime corruption yesterday on the liberal network MSNBC (Gateway Pundit).

“Well, the Republicans have clearly tried to cook the books here and they want to bring a contempt citation against Lois Lerner. And, the sole reason is because this plays well with their base. They’ve done polling and the IRS issue plays well with their base. The fact that the rights of an individual are going to be trampled upon. That’s just a casualty of war.”

Really, "Jihad" Gerry?  Then why was the IRS clearly targeting conservative groups, but Lerner was lax on other groups, like one foundation named after Obama that was founded by his brother, who is allegedly linked to terrorism?

Walid Shoebat has the proof.
For starters, the date stamped at the top of the Barack H. Obama Foundation’s 501(c)(3) approval letter which bears Lerner’s signature, is dated June 26, 2011. That day was on a Sunday. This new revelation comes after it’s been known that Malik Obama’s Barack H. Obama Foundation (BHOF) received expeditious and potentially illegal tax exempt status from Lerner when the approval was backdated by 38 months. That this approval was granted on a Sunday raises more questions.
This is where Ebeid comes in. Within a few short hours of this posting, Ebeid will be faxing the following letter to Issa, Gowdy, and Jordan. Each one of their offices will receive this information approximately 24 hours before the hearing is convened (click on image to view letter):
Malik Obama's Foundation granted 501(c)(3) status on a Sunday.
Malik Obama’s Foundation granted 501(c)(3) status on a Sunday.
Lest anyone point to the possibility that the 501(c)(3) approval letter is actually a fraud, it is worth noting that the letter in question is posted on the official BHOF website.

In addition to this new finding, it’s been learned that there are three addresses associated with the BHOF. Something else worth pointing out is the address for BHOF at the top of that approval letter:
4301 N. Carlin Springs RoadArlington, VA 22203
The 2010 IRS Form 990 is date stamped on June 13, 2011 as being received by the Ogden, UT office, just 13 days prior to the approval letter. The address for the Foundation is handwritten as follows:
4201 Wilson Blvd., Suite 110-152
Arlington, VA 22203
Malik_Obama_990
As for the third mailing address associated with BHOF, the website Charity Check 101 identifies a BHOF foundation with the exact same EIN as Malik’s BHOF as being at the following address:
107 S West Street 401
Alexandria, VA
All of these inconsistencies, when taken together, warrant much scrutiny. On March 5th, the House Oversight Committee should begin its search for answers by asking Lois Lerner why her signature is at the bottom of a 501(c)(3) approval letter for a foundation whose founder is connected to terrorism, why this foundation was given expeditious service, why it was backdated 38 months, why it was approved on a Sunday, and why there are three separate mailing addresses (two on IRS forms dated within weeks of each other).
So, since you made the allegation, I ask you again, "Jihad" Gerry, who is the one cooking the books?

Why Is Obama Defending Attorney Who Championed Case of Cop Killer Mumia Abu Jamal? Former WH Green Jobs Czar & WH Guest Also Supported Same Cop Killer

Even with "Dingy" Harry Reid's getting rid of the filibuster to rubber stamp Richard Milhous Obama's nominees, enough Democrats had a conscience to stop one extremist Obama nominee to head the Civil Rights Division of what is now the InJustice Department (SeeBS News).
The vote was 47-52, short of the needed majority. Eight Democrats joined Republicans to block the nominee, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., who voted "no" so he would be able to bring up the nomination again in the future.
The controversy over Debo Adegbile stems from legal representation of a man who is currently imprisoned for the murder of a Philadelphia policeman decades ago.
It was unclear what the next step will be for his supporters. Several Democrats joined all Senate Republicans in voting to prevent confirmation.
Adegbile was at the NAACP Legal Defense fund when the organization began representing Mumia Abu-Jamal, who was appealing his conviction in the killing in 1981 of a police officer.
Obama was ticked off:
The Senate’s failure to confirm Debo Adegbile to lead the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice is a travesty based on wildly unfair character attacks against a good and qualified public servant. Mr. Adegbile’s qualifications are impeccable. He represents the best of the legal profession, with wide-ranging experience, and the deep respect of those with whom he has worked. His unwavering dedication to protecting every American’s civil and Constitutional rights under the law – including voting rights – could not be more important right now.
I don't think the case can be made that Adegbile would defend "every American's civil and Constitutional rights," despite the President's assurances.

For background on the cop killer whom the Left loves (Discover the Networks).
Mumia Abu Jamal was catapulted into the public limelight by an event that occurred shortly after 3:55 a.m. on December 9, 1981, when white police officer Daniel Faulkner made a traffic stop of William Cook, Mumia’s brother, on a Philadelphia street. Falkner pulled behind Cook's car, radioed for police backup, approached Cook’s vehicle, and ordered the driver to get out of his car. While Faulkner handcuffed Cook, Mumia Abu Jamal, who was behind the wheel of a taxi parked across the street, suddenly got out of his vehicle, ran toward Faulkner and shot him in the back. As the policeman fell, he drew his own gun and managed to shoot Abu Jamal in the chest, wounding but not killing him. The gun-wielding cabdriver then fired repeatedly at Faulkner, finally dispatching him from close range with a bullet in the brain. Abu Jamal's presence near the scene of the roadside stop at that particular moment has led to serious speculation that William Cook intentionally led Faulkner into an ambush -- one that had all the earmarks of other Black Panther provocations in places like Newark and Oakland.
The body of evidence placing Mumia Abu Jamal at the scene of Faulkner’s killing was overwhelming. There were three eyewitnesses who testified that Abu Jamal was the killer. His brother William Cook has never testified that Abu Jamal was innocent. Abu Jamal himself never once claimed his innocence at his own trial. Two policemen and one hospital security guard testified to the court that while Abu Jamal was being brought into the hospital following the altercation with Faulkner, he shouted repeatedly, “I shot the mother f---er, and I hope the mother f---er dies.” The bullet that the doctors removed from Abu Jamal chest came from Officer Faulkner’s gun. The bullet in Faulkner’s brain came from Abu Jamal's gun, which had five empty cartridges when investigators found it. All the relevant facts of the case are detailed on the website danielfaulkner.com.
But when Obama's nominee led the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, attorneys for the fund played the raced card in Mumia's conviction and death penalty sentence (Townhall)Police unions were outraged by the nomination, and the slimy Demonrats even blocked Office Faulkner's widow from giving Senate testimony against the nomination.

So why is Obama defending his nominee who championed the case of a copy killer?  Is it, like Skip Gates and his "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon" comment, Obama (like Eric Holder) is putting his reverse racism on display for the nation to see?

Keep in mind too, that Obama's former "Green Jobs czar" the commie, 9/11 troofer Van Jones, organized a "Free Mumia" march back in 1999. Obama also had a (c)rapper by the name of Common as a particpiant at a White house poetry reading. "Common" has also supported not only Mumia, but the killer of a New Jersey State Trooper.

Mom With Cancer Attacked By "Dingy" Harry Reid, Gary Peters Over Obamacare Fights Back

Julie Boonstra, a mother who has been fighting cancer and appeared in an ad telling how Obamacare had hurt her, is fighting back against "Dingy" Harry Reid, who called her a liar, and Democrat Rep. Gary Peters, who wanted to go after TV stations airing the ad she appeared in.

Boonstra appeared on Fox News (TPNN).

She also appears in this follow-up ad by Americans for Prosperity.

Texas Primary 2014: Abbott & Davis Win Nominations For Gov, But Davis Loses Dem Votes In South Texas

Republican Greg Abbott and Democrat-Socialist-Abortionist Wendy Davis are officially the nominees for Governor of Texas, per Texas voters in the state primary yesterday.

But "The Abortion Barbie's" win among Democrats is clouded by her loss in almost two dozen counties to Reynaldo "Ray" Madrigal, who ran for the Democrat nomination with hardly any fundraising behind him.

Scanning county results from the Texas Secretary of State, Madrigal won overwhelmingly Hispanic areas of South Texas, including Starr, Willacy, and Hidalgo counties in the Rio Grande Valley. He also won the south Texas counties of Jim Wells, Kleberg, and Webb, which may suggest that Davis' focus on abortion-on-demand may be a turnoff to traditionally Catholic voters.

Unfortunately, RINO US Senator from Texas John Cornyn fended off primary challengers.
