Republican Greg Abbott and Democrat-Socialist-Abortionist Wendy Davis are officially the nominees for Governor of Texas, per Texas voters in the state primary yesterday.
But "The Abortion Barbie's" win among Democrats is clouded by her loss in almost two dozen counties to Reynaldo "Ray" Madrigal, who ran for the Democrat nomination with hardly any fundraising behind him.
Scanning county results from the Texas Secretary of State, Madrigal won overwhelmingly Hispanic areas of South Texas, including Starr, Willacy, and Hidalgo counties in the Rio Grande Valley. He also won the south Texas counties of Jim Wells, Kleberg, and Webb, which may suggest that Davis' focus on abortion-on-demand may be a turnoff to traditionally Catholic voters.
Unfortunately, RINO US Senator from Texas John Cornyn fended off primary challengers.
