"Phony Scandals" Distract From Economic Progress Says Obama...What Are You Hiding, Barack?

Five years after he was first elected in the midst of an economic downturn, President Richard Milhous Obama redirected his focus today....on how to improve the economy.

Despite how the Obama stimulus didn't really stimulate those "shovel ready" jobs we were promised, and how his crowning achievement, ObamaCare, has weighed down any economic growth, Obama proved once again he cannot take the blame for his failures.

Instead, he decided to lay the blame at Republicans in Congress for focusing on "phony scandals." (Katie Pavlich - Townhall)
"With an endless parade of distractions, political posturing and phony scandals, Washington has taken its eye off the ball.  And I am here to say this needs to stop.  Short-term thinking and stale debates are not what this moment requires.  Our focus must be on the basic economic issues that the matter most to you – the people we represent," Obama said.
Funny, I'm not sure the IRS targeting American citizens (with the help of one of Obama's political appointees) for political purposes or four dead Americans killed in Benghazi count as "phony" but hey, "what difference, at this point, does it make?" And speaking of distractions, apparently taking the time to personally call pro-abortion Wendy Davis, Sandra Fluke and the first openly gay NBA player Jason Collins while opining on local crime cases, playing golf and going on numerous vacations doesn't count when it comes to deflecting attention away from anything but the disastrous and stagnant economy.
IRS, Benghazi as "phony scandals," Mr. Obama?  Even that RINO sellout Joe Scarboring at MSNBC wasn't buying that BS from your propaganda chief, Jay Carney. Let me remind you of one of the articles of impeachment that was drawn up for the second most corrupt President of the United States, Richard Milhous Nixon:
Article II: Abuse of Power.
Using the powers of the office of President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon, in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in disregard of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has repeatedly engaged in conduct violating the constitutional rights of citizens, imparting the due and proper administration of justice and the conduct of lawful inquiries, or contravening the laws governing agencies of the executive branch and the purposes of these agencies.
This conduct has included one or more of the following:
(1) He has, acting personally and through his subordinated and agents, endeavored to obtain from the Internal Revenue Service, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, confidential information contained in income tax returns for purposes not authorized by law, and to cause, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, income tax audits or other income tax investigation to be initiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner.

Just the suggestion by Nixon of getting tax records of "political enemies" from the IRS was enough to bring an article of impeachment against him.

What have we learned this week? The Chief Counsel of the IRS met with you, Mr. Obama, two days before the criteria was changed that started the targeting of Tea Party and conservative groups by the IRS, that hindered, in many cases, their efforts for the 2012 Presidential election.

Taxprof, via Instapundit, even asks the following:
“I can’t for the life of me come up with any kind of innocent explanation for why Obama would have met with the Chief Counsel of the IRS. That meeting shouldn’t ever happen, and especially not without the Commissioner of the IRS being there. Presidents just don’t go to agency chief counsels with legal questions. Presidents don’t go to anyone with legal questions. Their staff does. The idea that the President would sit down with some random agency chief counsel and discuss some pressing legal issue is just bizarre to anyone who has worked in the legal field at that level. I am not sure the reporters covering this story understand how legal advice is actually delivered to the President and just how out of the ordinary that meeting was.”
Out of the ordinary?  How bout it stinks to high heaven.  But this, plus the fact that as Commander-in-Chief you were AWOL when four Americans were being attacked by terrorists on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, you want to brush off as "phony scandals."

How dare you, Mr. Obama, act as if the rights of half the nation, and the lives of American diplomats aren't any consideration to you. Didn't you self-righteously lecture Mr. Romney that one of the lessons you learned as President was that a President represents the entire nation, that you work for everyone?

The problem is, Mr. Obama, you talk a good game, but when it comes to your actions, you show time and time again how much of a lying sack of crap you really are.  Speaking as one concerned American, I'm offended and angry when any leader in power tries to piss on the shoes of all Americans, but tries to make us think it's raining instead.

So why, after a failed stimulus and almost a year of pushing a government take over of health care that has, despite its name (Affordable Care Act) made health-care more expensive, will limit coverage, and is costing people across America their jobs, are you pivoting back to the economy.  Five years later, I must ad.

Is it because you have something to hide, Mr. Obama?

Like what you really knew about "Fast and Furious," that phony scandal where a Border Patrol agent was killed by a gun your InJustice Department let get into the hands of Mexican drug lords.

Like what you knew about the IRS harassment of your political enemies?  What did you know, and when did you know it, Mr. Obama?

Like who gave the stand-down order when our heoroes in Benghazi were under attack and died at the hands of Islamic terrorists?  Not only that, what was the topic of that 10 pm phone call with Secretary of Hate Hillary Rotten Clinton?  Was it how you, Hillary and Susan Rice, were going to look those families and this nation in the eye, and lie to us about a video being the cause of this attack?

What are you hiding, Mr. Obama, that you suddenly want to dismiss these scandals as phony?

What are you hiding?
