Dana Loesch called it a "short, non-apologetic statement."
Let’s make it brief: the President walked out, blamed the Acting Commissioner of the IRS who submitted his resignation to Jack Lew, said they would reform IRS laws, and offered no apology for his departments acting under his edict on dealing with conservatives.
Krauthammer said it was the “bare minimum,” I don’t think it even met that bar. At one point the President mentioned reforming the law, because apparently the last IRS reformation in 1998 didn’t quite clarify using the taxpayer-funded government agency the punitive arm of your political party.
Kudos to Rep. John Fleming who is taking action to neutralize the IRS< which needs to be stripped of funding and all hiring frozen.I guess Obama and the Democrats are either too ignorant of history to realize that another President wanted to use the IRS as a way to get back at his "enemies," and this was one of the articles of impeachment brought against him. However, this President resigned before he could be impeached.
Folks, Obama didn't need or want to apologize. He's just angry they got caught.
