Carney refused to condemn the Rev. Luis Leon's liberal political rant that passed for a sermon, using the lame excuse that Rev. Leon wasn't a politician and that the church had been visited by Presidents of both parties. (video via Nice Deb)
But Rush Limbaugh is not a politician. He is a private citizen who makes his living as a conservative political commentator. However, that did not stop Carney, as well as Richard Milhous Obama from condemning Limbaugh for calling Democrat operative Sandra the Fluke a "slut" when she made her phony case in testifying for taxpayer-funded contraception.
The president called the student, Sandra Fluke, on Friday afternoon to express his disappointment in the "personal attacks" against her, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said.
Limbaugh, on his radio show earlier this week, had called Fluke a "slut" following her comments in favor of mandatory contraceptive coverage.
"The fact that our political discourse has become debased in many ways is bad enough. It is worse when it's directed at a private citizen who was simply expressing her views on a matter of public policy," Carney said.
He said Obama called Fluke to express disappointment about the attacks and "thank her" for exercising her right to speak out.Never mind Limbaugh apologized for his comments, which he made in an effort to "illustrate absurdity by being absurd."
So there you go. When a liberal race-baiter close to the Divider-in-Chief makes a comment attacking a conservative, it's "hey, he's not a politician" from the Regime. But it's a different story when it come to anything they can attack a conservative for saying, then Carney and Obama come out in their phony Mr. Rogers tone about civility.
If the Obama Regime didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all.
