Obama Seated Front & Center As DC Pastor Makes Racist Attack On Conservatives For Easter

This racist, un-Christian garbage passes for an Easter Message (Weekly Standard, via Gateway Pundit).
President Obama and his family this morning went to Easter Sunday services at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C. Here are notes on the Easter service from the pool reporter, which included this part, "It drives me crazy when the captains of the religious right are always calling us back ... for blacks to be back in the back of the bus ... for women to be back in the kitchen ... for immigrants to be back on their side of the border."
Will Regime Propaganda Minister Jay Carney be grilled on how the President can sit through this message, when he has not only said how he has learned a President should represent all of the people...

But also that Americans need to be more civil in our discourse and speak to each other "in a way that heals, not in a way that wounds."

If he his silent on this message, then I think that should remove all doubt that Obama not only sat in the pews during his racist Rev. Jeremiah Wright's anti-American "sermons," but probably yelled the loudest "amens."

Easter Sunday Meditation....On The Family

Not necessarily a traditional Easter Sunday message, but one relative to think about after the debate that has gone on this last week.

This is Dr. Billy Graham, from a crusade in Toronto in 1978:

Cesar Chavez, Not Jesus Christ, Celebrated On Easter Sunday

If you went to search something on Google this Easter Sunday, you'll find no mention of the Risen Christ.

But instead, the search engine honors the birthday of Cesar Chavez. (Twitchy)

This has happened before, as Twitchy notes:

From Bahamas To Sun Valley, Idaho Two Spring Break Vacations For Obama Girls UPDATE: White House Tell Station To Remove Story

UPDATE - 9:50 It's not just the Obama daughters livin it up, White House Dossier, via Gateway Pundit says Joe Biden is vacationing on "South Carolina’s luxurious Kiawah Island" most likely for a golf outing. It is his third vacation this year.

UPDATE - 6:33 When I added the video earlier from the Weekly Standard, it attached with no problem, however, the story from KMVT's website disappeared. confims that the White House asked the station remove the story...

UPDATE: The White House has confirmed the report was removed on their request.
From Kristina Schake, Communications Director to the First Lady:
From the beginning of the administration, the White House has asked news outlets not to report on or photograph the Obama children when they are not with their parents and there is no vital news interest. We have reminded outlets of this request in order to protect the privacy and security of these girls.

Give me a bleeping break. It's one thing to follow the Obama daughters around Washington DC and report on their every move. That is wrong and should not happen to any underage daughter of the President.

But it's another story indeed when we are told that the White House tours have to be cancelled because the Secret Service had to make cuts in their budget, and the agents (on our dime) not only travel with them to ritzy locations for a Spring Break vacation, but act as their adult chaperones.

How many average Americans send their children off unsupervised on just ONE vacation?

This is a story, and the Regime is bullying people who are reporting it because they are afraid of the blowback.  This is not the same as the White House asking a story not be covered for purposes of national security or anything like that. The Thin-Skinned Obama's don't want to be made to look bad.

Are you outraged yet?  And don't let liberal idiots tell you "but, but, BOOOOOOOOOSH!" when you complain about it.

As I said the other day, when news broke that Richard Milhous Obama's daughters were vacationing at the luxurious Atlantis resorting in the Bahamas, "What Sequester?"

Now, they've left the sun-drenched Atlantic paradise and are hitting the snow-covered slopes of Sun Valley, Idaho (Weekly Standard).

"Sun Valley is known to be a getaway for celebrities and the First Family is no different," reports KMVT.

"In an exclusive photo obtained by Idaho's First News, you can see the First Daughters, Malia and Sasha Obama skiing at River Run Thursday. The Sun Valley Ski Patrol confirms the girls were enjoying the wonders of the mountain. We also received unconfirmed reports the daughters were staying at Thunder Spring in Sun Valley."
Earlier, it was reported that the Obama daughters were at a resort in the Bahamas for Spring Break.
Both reports could be true: The Obama daughters could have spent the first half of the week in the Bahamas, before leaving the sun for the Idaho snow.
Meanwhile, the White House remains closed to the public, as the Secret Service is said to lack the funds necessary to keep the building open to all.

I mean, this is total arrogance. We're supposed to be suffering because of the sequester, at least everyone except the President.

While we're picking up the tab for their extravagance.

His Regime Doesn't Enforce Existing Gun Laws, But Obama Uses Newtown Tragedy To Push More Anti-Gun Laws

Yesterday was the 100th anniversary of the tragic Sandy Hook school shooting, which Richard Milhous Obama shamelessly used as a political prop to push more restrictions on the Second Amendment.

Yesterday, he used grieving parents as "potted plants" to make his case (Yahoo).

We've cried enough. We've known enough heartbreak. ... It's something that if we are serious, we will do," Obama said, Vice President Joe Biden at his side. "Now is the time to turn that heartbreak into something real."
As the mothers of children killed by gun violence wiped away tears, the president went on to urge the passage of background checks for gun buyers, and for loopholes to be closed for buyers who turn around and sell guns to criminals. He said 90 percent of Americans support background checks, as well as 80 percent of gun owners and 80 percent of Republicans.
Obama also suggested that too much time has passed since the shootings at Newtown. "Shame on us if we've forgotten. I haven't forgotten those kids. Shame on us if we've forgotten," the president said.
Yeah, like the way you forgot Benghazi and those left to die there, you asshole!  What about your racist attorney general letting guns walk across the US/Mexico border that killed a US Border Patrol agent, as well as hundreds of Mexican citizens?

The question is, why do we need more gun laws when the current ones aren't being enforced by this Regime and their InJustice Department (The Hill).

In letters to Obama and Holder on Friday, the group of 23 GOP lawmakers — led by Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (Va.) — highlighted a declining number of federal weapons prosecutions in recent years, as well as a low number of prosecutions of people who have had their gun permit applications rejected.
The Republicans say those numbers show that more attention and resources should be placed on enforcing current firearms laws before the White House and Congress move to enact new ones.
“A prosecution rate this low is not indicative of a Department of Justice that takes the act of illegally attempting to acquire a firearm seriously,” Goodlatte said in a statement accompanying the letters.
“We must all be looking for ways to prevent senseless acts of violence and the taking of innocent life but the best place to start would be enforcing the laws that Congress has already enacted.”
Obama's intentions can be seen by anyone with a brain. This is not meant to punish criminals or those who illegally get guns, it is an attempt to make it harder for those who obey the law and want to exercise their Second Amendment right to own a gun.

Let's hope Sens. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz hold firm in their pledge to filibuster any anti-gun legislation.

Sean Penn Bashes Tea Party As "Racist" & Promotes Gay Rights, But His Son Calls Black Photographer "Faggot," "Nigger"

"For those who saw the signs of hatred as our cars drove in tonight, I think that it is a good time for those who voted for the ban against gay marriage to sit and reflect and anticipate their great shame and the shame in their grandchildren's eyes if they continue that way of support. We've got to have equal rights for everyone." Sean Penn, Feb 2009

"And, and there, yet there’s another problem. You have what I call the “Get the ‘N’-word out of the White House party,” the Tea Party, this kind of sensibility, which is much more of a distraction.... If you ask a representative of the Tea Party, “okay, Social Security, socialist, get rid of it,” they're going to get very confused. What the, what they're -- at the end of the day, there's a big bubble coming out of their heads saying, you know, “can we just lynch him?” Sean Penn, October 2011.

Hollywood values from Hollywood Hypocrites, who lecture us about bigotry, tolerance and diversity, but they and their family don't seem to follow.

Such is the case with gun-toting, spousal and paparatzzi abusing Sean Penn, former resident of the wealthy, Marin County hamlet of Ross, California and his son Hopper, who appears to have learned his dad's finer skills at attacking photographers.  But where did he learn anti-gay and racial slurs?  ( )

19-year-old Hopper Penn was following his dad into a medical building when he got into the altercation with an African-American photographer (not TMZ's).
The nuclear exchange was all caught on tape ... Hopper gets up in the photog's face, pushing him, then says, "F*** you ... you're a f***ing f***ot ... shut up you f***ing n***er."
Cops happened to be nearby at the time and heard the commotion. Law enforcement sources tell us, officers asked what happened ... but the photog said it was just a verbal argument, and he didn't want to press charges.
Hopper says he "regrets his choice of words" and "felt threatened...but that does not condone my actions."  Yeah, right. Are you only saing that because you were caught on camera?

WHAT SEQUESTER? While White House Tours Closed, Obama Daughters Vacation At Luxurious Atlantis Resort

While teenagers their age are unable to visit The White House, thanks to the tantrum their father is throwing, the daughters of Richard Milhous Obama are vacationing at the luxurious Atlantis Resort in The Bahamas.

You know, that place you see in the commercials on TV:

Sasha and Malia Obama are quietly vacationing at the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, Breitbart News has learned.
A source tipped Breitbart News off to the First Daughters’ spring vacation, which was not publicly announced or reported.
Breitbart subsequently confirmed President Barack Obama’s daughters’ trip with other sources. Both the White House and the Atlantis resort declined to confirm the report or comment, but another guest provided a photograph of Sasha and Malia at the resort.
Social media, including Twitter and Facebook, have also carried reports of the First Daughters’ presence at Atlantis. One person who is at the resort wrote: “Rumor confirmed: friends saw the first daughters with a gaggle of friends being escorted to the held elevator.”
So, were you and your teenagers able to go away on vacation for Spring Break, or you didn't have the money or the ability to mooch off the taxpayers like the Obamas?
So much for everyone "having some skin in the game."

(VIDEO) Greg Gutfield Rips Jim Carrey & His Vile Attack On Gun Owners

What happens when your career as an entertainer is on the downside?

Answer: You go on a liberal political rant in which you attack the same people who once made your living.

That's what has happened to the once funny Jim Carrey. He's gone for the hysterically funny Ace Ventura to mocking "redneck" gun owners as "heartless motherf**kers" and attacking the late Charlton Heston with a vile song "Cold Dead Hand."

Well, Greg Gutfield, as many of us did yesterday, took to Twitter to take Carrey to task (Twitchy). But Gutfield wasn't done, and went on an epic rant against Carrey on Fox's "The Five."

Radio host Dana Loesch also took Carrey on via Twitter last night, noting that Carrey has recently made a movie called "Kick Ass 2" that glorifies gun use.

Or other Jim Carrey celluloid gun violence.

Which reminds me of other hypocritical Hollywood idiots who say one thing about gun violence, but profit off of it.

Yeah, some people were saying "oh you're just giving them attention." No, the problem is these liberal line readers, most of whom cannot do anything independently without some agent or PR person telling them what to do next, abuse their celebrity by influencing their audience to think a certain way.  Mostly, in a secular, liberal philosophy.
So, turn off the lights Jim Carrey! You were funny 20 years ago, but no more.  Go back to Canada and take that stupid band Rush with you too!

Obama Shuts Down Some Airport Control Towers For Sequester, But Gives $$$$ To Palestinians, Muslim Brotherhood

Along with the White House tours being cut, and the possibility of the annual White House Easter Egg Roll being cancelled, the Obama Regime continues to find ways of making the American people pay with pain until he gets more tax increases.

Next on the list...shutting down 149 air traffic control towers because of a $637 million cut in the FAA budget.

It's sick to even consider, but I wouldn't put it past Obama to wish for a few air crashes, so that he and that little POS "Dingy" Harry Reid can use the dead as political props to play on emotions and get the tax increases they want.

But if the FAA is short $637 million, why is the Palestinian Authority getting a little over that number from Richard Milhous Obama? (SooperMexican).
Obama’s Middle East tour is coming to close, and despite the lapdog media’s slobbering over his incoherent and rambling speeches, his visit has been a disaster.
Still, it was announced on Friday through the State Department that Obama had unfrozen $500,000,000 worth of aid to the Palestinian Authority quietly over the last few weeks, and the PA had received it finally.
...The US has given the Palestinian Authority about $500 million per year in aid, and if they hand out the other $200 million they seek, they will have given the Palestinian Authority $700 million.
Mind you, the FAA has to shut down 149 control towers, forcing pilots to have to organize among themselves when landing and taking off and putting Americans in harm’s way.
How much is the FAA’s budget being cut by? $637 million, which is less than the $700 total that the State Department is seeking to give the PA.
Not only that, but new Secretary of Hate "Hanoi" John Kerry announced earlier this month the US is giving $250 million to possibly $1 billion of our money to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Shouldn't that money be spent here?  It shouldn't go to hostile regimes that hate not only us, but our most important ally in the region, Israel.

But it's another example of how this Regime cannot cut one dime from government, but will spend our tax dollars outrageously and extravagantly as well.  Like this one from the UK Daily Mail about Vice President Joe Bite Me's trip to France.
Paris may be known as the City of Light, but that title certainly doesn’t mean that visitors are light on spending as Vice President Joe Biden’s one day trip cost taxpayers more than half a million dollars.

When Mr Biden and his hefty entourage stayed in Paris for an evening in early February and it cost $585,000.50 for that single night.

The Vice President likely rented out more than 100 rooms in the Hotel Intercontinental Paris Le Grand, though they must not have gotten a group discount rate.

...For some reason, the pound must be at a better level than the euro as his hotel bill for one night at the Hyatt Regency in London was only $459,388.65, more than $100,000 less than his night in Paris.

The contract for the London trip specifies that the Vice President’s crew required 136 hotel rooms for the evening, so it is fair to assume that they needed a similar- if not the exact same- number in Paris for the next leg of the trip.
And the IRS has had to apologize for two $60,000 videos that parodied Star Trek and Gilligan's Island.
“The IRS recognizes and takes seriously our obligation to be good stewards of government resources and taxpayer dollars,” the agency said in a statement to the AP. “There is no mistaking that this video did not reflect the best stewardship of resources.”
Gee, do ya think so?  Obviously, our government, from the Executive Branch on down, doesn't give a second thought about living it up on the taxpayers' dime, while telling us we have to make due with less money, because they want to raise more of our taxes, especially after they increased the payroll tax at the start of the year.
Finally here's the last tear jerker from our so-called "public servants," Debbie "Thunderlips" Wasserman Schultz and the Alexandria VA town drunk, Jim Moron.
...Moran fretted that, with the looming sequester cuts, he may have to cut one staffer from his office. Wasserman Schultz upped his ante, however. She, almost literally, suggested that her staff were on the brink of starvation, due to the cuts.
Speaking at a hearing of the House Legislative Branch Appropriations Subcommittee, Wasserman Schultz worried that prices of meals in House restaurants are getting so high that aides are being "priced out" of a good meal.
At the carry-out cafe in the Cannon Office Building, where Wasserman Schultz has her office, you can get an 8oz bowl of Ham and Bean soup for $2. You can buy gourmet sandwiches and wraps for around $5. Both of these are cheaper than I can get at delis down the street from my house.
Her aides could walk across the street to the Longworth Building, which has a large sit-down cafeteria. Today, it is featuring a roasted stuffed Chicken, with asparagus and mashed potatoes, for around $7. Or, one could opt for a heaping 12oz bowl of Chicken Chili for $3.
There is also the tried and true method enjoyed by millions of workers around the country: a brown-bag lunch.
Wasserman Schultz's top aide earns around $160k a year. She pays two additional aides around $120k a year. She has five additional aides who earn between $60-100k a year.
Cry me a bleeping river! I'm no where near making the minimum of what her aides make and I eat fine, three squares a day, everyday.  Then again, I was lucky I had parents who taught me a lesson at a young age that Washington hasn't learned...."Money doesn't grow on trees."

Three Marines, Including Gunman, Killed At Quantico, VA

Sad news to wake up to this morning (Fox News).
Authorities say an active-duty Marine shot and killed two fellow service members at Marine Corps Base Quantico in Virginia before killing himself.
Investigators say the male shooter was found dead of a self inflicted gunshot wound and two others, one man and one woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooter and the two victims were all identified as active duty Marines, but their names were not released pending family notification. Sgt. Christopher Zahn tells Fox News authorities cannot yet speculate on a motive for the killings.
Authorities were called to the scene around 10:30 p.m. Thursday where they found one Marine dead at a barracks, base commander Col. David W. Maxwell told reporters. Authorities later found a second victim dead, along with the body of the suspected gunman, who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Test At Corpus Christi, TX Area School Blames US For 9/11

Since when did the Corpus Christi Bay Area become like the America-hating San Francisco Bay Area? (KRIS-TV Video at link, not embedded as it is on auto play).
Many parents check their children's school work to make sure they're getting good grades, but how often to you check the content of those lessons? One mother of a child in Flour Bluff ISD says when she did, she was shocked that lesson taught her son to blame the United States for the 9/11 attacks.
Kara Sands posted the test on her facebook page and it began to spread like wildfire. The test covers content watched on a video in class. What bothered her most is question #3 on the test. It asks why the U.S. may be a target for terrorism. Her son chose the correct answer - 'decisions we made in the United States that negatively impact people elsewhere.'

"I'm not going to justify radical terrorists by saying we did anything to deserve that, over 3,000 people died," Sands said. She contacted her son's principal and teacher, both met with her and contacted the video's distributor, Safari Montage.
According to KRIS, "representatives" (not sure if that is the distributor or the school district) "stand by the video, but have already changed the corresponding quiz that may have caused confusion."  Yeah, how convenient, when one parent finds this disgusting lesson, the maker goes "Oooops, our fault, let's correct that."

But according to Ms. Sands, there's more to this than just the revisionist history of 9/11.
Sands tells us the quiz opened her eyes to the content in lessons taught at the school. Her biggest concern is curriculum called CSCOPE.
One worksheet on the Bill of Rights names food and medicine as rights, not personal responsibility. "He got marked wrong, because it is, it is our responsibility for shelter, its our responsibility for food for medicine, its not the government's responsibility," Sand said.
Flour Bluff officials say Sands is the only parent to complain about the test specifically, but her post on facebook now has 1,662 likes.
Several parents plan to meet next week and Sands says school board members Shirley Thornton and Wade Chapman have requested the concerns be brought up in the next school board meeting. The agenda for the March 28th meeting is not yet posted to confirm the item.
According to this post from Glenn Beck's The Blaze from earlier this month:
To note just how off-color some of the CSCOPE curriculum is, consider that the Texas CSCOPE Review, an independent watchdog group, uncovered an out-of-date, optional CSCOPE lesson-plan on terrorism — “World History Unit 12 Lesson 07″ — which allegedly likens the Boston Tea Party to “an act of terrorism.”
The system also recently asked students to design a flag for a new socialist nation.
To glean greater insight, Glenn Beck invited special guests David Barton and Pat Gray, along with teachers Mary Bowen, Stan Hartzler and Texas State Sen. Dan Patrick to discuss what is truly going on within their state’s education system.
Using a chart, Barton documented and mapped out core CSCOPE material, which eliminates national values, Americanism or rather, American exceptionalism, the study of federalism and majority rule (the core of our constitution) along with patriotic symbols like the Liberty Bell. Christopher Columbus, Rosh Hashanah and Christmas are all relegated to the dustbin along with American military history. Equality and a belief in justice is replaced by “fairness” and instruction on American propaganda and imperialism.
Disturbingly, Beck and Barton noted that the worst is yet to come. Showcasing a lesson plan for grades 1-3, Barton revealed CSCOPE’s list of “heroes,” which comprises a dozen secular progressives and only three conservatives or political moderates.
This is where parental choice is needed in education, so that the schools cannot brainwash children from being taught this Leftist garbage that is being pushed by the Democrat-allied teachers unions. And it's another reason why conservatives need to do more than just win elected offices. We need to reclaim the culture.

Judge In Prop 8 Case E-mailed Attorney Asking Advice If He Should Attend Supreme Court Hearing

Patrick Frey, aka Patterico, has obtained emails between the judge who ruled against California's Proposition 8 referendum that defined marriage as between a man and a woman, and the attorney who argued the law was unconstitutional.
Vaughn R. Walker, the judge who struck down Proposition 8, California’s gay marriage ban, sought Ted Olson’s opinion regarding whether Walker should attend next week’s Supreme Court arguments on the gay marriage cases. Olson was one of the lawyers who successfully persuaded Judge Walker to strike down Proposition 8 after a trial held in 2010.
In December 2012 emails obtained exclusively by, Judge Walker, who retired in February 2011, asked Olson’s law partner to “ask Ted if he thinks my attending the argument would be an unwanted distraction.”

A staff member for Olson responded:

Frey concludes (emphasis mine):
This blog post is a piece of journalism, breaking a story that should be of public interest regarding the conduct of a former jurist on a significant case. This site does not advocate an anti-gay rights agenda, and the proprietor of this web site is a supporter of gay marriage (although he disapproves of the imposition of gay marriage on society through judicial fiat).
Nor does this web site assert that Walker, Olson, or Olson’s partner has engaged in any breach of legal ethics. Walker’s views on the decision are no secret: he has spoken since retirement of his belief that the case was appropriately brought and that his decision was correct. It is not shocking that a judge would defend a decision he has already made.
But the behavior of Walker, as revealed by these emails, creates the appearance of a partisan rather than an impartial former jurist who simply believes he issued a correct ruling. Walker was so invested in his ruling that he wanted to watch the appellate courts’ argument himself. He went out of his way to make sure that he consulted with the winning side to help them prevail in the appellate courts. Specifically, he sought to learn whether his attendance at the appellate arguments would be acceptable to the prevailing party — and when told it would not be, he deferred to the prevailing party’s media strategy. All of this, cumulatively, suggests an emotional investment in the outcome of the case. The emails are likely to reinforce the widely held perception among Prop. 8 supporters that Walker was less than impartial in his rulings during the trial.
The Supreme Court hears the gay marriage cases next week, on March 26 and 27.

Obama Regime Met With Leftist Groups Before Releasing 2,000 Illegals & Blaming It On Sequester

Right before the "sequester" began on March 1, around 2,000 or so detained illegal aliens were released by ICE, but the Obama Regime blamed a low-level staffer for the release.

However, Michael Volpe, writing at FrontPageMagazine, says the Regime met with radical Leftist groups before the release who had lobbied for years to reduce the number of people detained by ICE.
According to a newsletter published in February 2013 by Andrew Lorenzen-Strait, the Public Advocate for US Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Public Advocate team organized a series of appearances in a number of “community roundtables” sponsored by groups like the Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA), El Centro Hispano, the International Institute of Connecticut, and the International House in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Lorenzen-Strait has been the Public Advocate at ICE since that position was created by the Obama administration in February 2012. Ostensibly, he’s supposed to represent the public, but in reality, no less than the Huffington Post acknowledged that the post was created specifically to address the complaints of left-wing groups that were complaining that the Obama administration was being heavy-handed in its deportation and incarceration immigration policy.
In a story titled “Immigrant Advocates Skeptical On New DHS Public Advocate Position” by Huffington Post writer Elise Foley on February 7, 2012, that’s the exact impression given regarding the new position of the ICE Public Advocate:
The agency tasked with finding and deporting undocumented immigrants announced on Tuesday the creation of a new position that will work with non-governmental organizations, advocacy groups and immigrants to make sure their voices are heard.
Immigration advocates said they are hopeful, but will believe it when they see it.
It was revealed earlier this week that several of the aliens had been arrested for drunk-driving charges.  Around eight of those released were classified as high risk "Level 1" detainees.

PRIORITIES - White House Tours Still Closed, But $400K Funded Study Of Duck Genitals

The Democrat Senate voted yesterday to keep White House tours closed, even though stopping the tours, as noted last week, was purely made on the basis of politics from the White House.

But couldn't some other areas of the federal budget been cut?  Do you know what thousands and even millions of dollars are being spent on?

The Lonely Conservative (also winner of the Best Kept Secret Blogger award at CPAC) found some items that will make you shake your head at what your tax dollars are being spent on.
I’ve lived my entire life without giving a single thought to duck genitalia, until now. The reason duck genitals are in the news is that we the taxpayers are spending a whopping $384,949 studying them.
The National Science Foundation (NSF) has awarded a $384,949 grant to Yale University for a study on “Sexual Conflict, Social Behavior and the Evolution of Waterfowl Genitalia”, according to the website.
The grant description says,“The project examines how reproductive morphology covaries with season, age, and social environment in a diverse sample of duck species that differ in ecology, territoriality and breeding system.”
The grant was made available through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, better known as the stimulus package.
The project has been receiving money from the NSF since 2009 and is slated for funding through July of this year. (Read More)

It's not just duck balls. Your tax dollars are also funding studies that look at why lesbians are fat and drink too much.

Meanwhile, the White House remains closed to everyone (except high price donors to Obama) so we can fund those idiotic studies...along with cowboy poetry festivals in Nevada.

(VIDEO) Woman Physically Attacked In Oakland, CA For Writing "Long Live Israel"

Via Gateway Pundit.
Two pro-Israel activists were shoved, assaulted and chased away from a leftist pro-Hamas street protest in Oakland, California.
The leftist attacker kept yelling: “You f*cking rightwing piece of sh*t! Get out of here!”

What set off these Jew-hating, unwashed hippies from the Oakland sewer?  The pro-Israel activist wrote "Long Live Israel" on the sidewalk.
For all their talk about "Democracy" and "free speech," San Francisco Bay Area Leftists show once again how they are a fascist community that stifles any voice contrary to their own.

GOP "Way Forward" Report: More Of The "Same Old, Same Old"

When I heard Newt Gingrich and others mention how the Republican Party was going to release a look at what went wrong in the last election and propose a way forward, I had my suspicions.  As usual, it appears to be another example of how the GOP establishment says "how high?" when the activist, Obama Lapdog Media says "Jump!"

First, from
The report proposes shortening the primary calendar for the next presidential cycle and holding a series of regional primaries that would be a series of "super primaries." Critics claim it is heavy on process, metrics, and outreach to celebrities and minorities while being short on conservative substance—which, they fear, would ensure more Mitt Romneys are nominated over insurgent Tea Party and grassroots candidates like Ted Cruz.
Brent Bozell, chairman of ForAmerica, said there was not much that excited him about the report and accused the Republican establishment of being "obsessed with identifying problems and solutions from the top-down instead of from the bottom-up."
"It's the exact same thing as (GOP strategist) Karl Rove saying they're going to pick candidates. That ensures that establishment candidates are the only ones with a chance," Bozell told The Hill.
Jenny Beth Martin of Tea Party Patriots said the RNC fails to understand that Republicans lost because they "failed to promote our principles," and the party does not need to wait on the "RNC to promote our winning principles at places like CPAC, and across the country."
Iowa GOP Chair A.J. Spiker told Politico that the report was an "really an attempt to get rid of what the base of the party wants" and the RNC membership would "object" to that. John Brabender, who had been Rick Santorum's chief strategist, said he was "troubled" by a system that would "undoubtedly give an advantage to establishment backed candidates and the wealthiest candidates."
Greg Mueller, formerly a chief adviser to Pat Buchanan, who carried on a 1992 primary challenge of sitting president George H.W. Bush, told Politico the new rules seemed like "a system of the establishment, by the establishment, and for the establishment."
David Bossie, president of the non-profit group Citizens United, said the report was "not a good thing for the party and I definitely don’t think it’s a good thing for the conservative movement."
Bozell worried the new proposals would nominate more losers—moderates like Bob Dole, John McCain, or Mitt Romney—rather than Republican candidates who run on a conservative message like Ronald Reagan.
This is key, and is reminds me of what happened at the GOP convention when an effort was made successfully (and against the popular opinion) to push out grassroots activists. I often wondered how much effect that had in souring potential voters on Romney. Potential voters meaning they could have voted in November, but stayed hone or voted for someone like Gary Johnson, because the GOP essentially told the grassroots they only wanted was their vote, not their input.

Then, I read what Anne Sorock wrote at Legal Insurrection about African-American "outreach." She and I met at BlogBash last Thursday and discussed the candidacy of Paul McKinley in Jesse Jackson Jr.'s vacated seat which she has been covering.  McKinley has made in-roads in the black community in Chicago, being associated with "the Broke Party," that has highlighted the broken promises of the infamous, corrupt Democrat machine in Chicago towards the black community.  Despite McKinley's successful inroads into this community, the GOP has (to their stupidity) all but ignored his campaign.
These findings and recommendations (in the GOP report) strike me as shallow: more bureaucracy in the form of hires and programs, girded by platitudes that essentially say, “they really belong with us so let’s hire some of them and support them in running for office.” Not exactly groundbreaking stuff.
We at LI know what’s groundbreaking: not a superficial hire at the RNC but a candidate like Paul McKinley who’s carrying the load of the tired Republican brand into his community and rejuvenating it. His complete non-support, and in the case of the Illinois GOP, downright abandonment, by the Republican powers-that-be is worth studying more than this entire report’s “findings” on African American outreach.
Wake up, RNC. There’s a revolution going on and your brand isn’t going to stick around with recommendations like “hire some of the minorities.” This ought to be a party about ideas, ideas that you seem to have forgotten are more important than embracing the left’s separation of our American populace into demographic interest groups. You don’t need focus groups, you need a complete cleaning of house.
Her colleague at LI and the blog's founder, Prof. William Jacobson, highlights another deficiency in the report. Not once does it mention bloggers in its 100 pages. Compare that with how Democrats reach to out liberal bloggers and far-Left activist groups.  That is a problem. I recall last year, when the Romney bus showed up at Obama's appearance at Centreville High School, I went on board and spoke to one of the PR people and gave them my card. Not once did the Romney campaign send e-mails or do any kind of blogger outreach that I'm aware of.  The McLame Campaign in 2008 was worse.

If the GOP wants a new way forward, let me make one suggestion that won't cost them a dime to research. It was made at CPAC in 1977 by someone who (with two huge landslide victories) showed the party that conservatism was, and is, a winning message.

Drunk Drivers Among The Imprisoned Illegal Aliens Released By ICE

Remember those two thousand or so illegal aliens released by ICE and Department of Homeland Insecurity, in order for Richard Milhous Obama to make a point and scare America before the sequester hit a the beginning of the month?

GOP members in the House had a hearing on that release today (The Hill).
Republicans accused the administration of playing politics and balked at why Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director John Morton didn’t ask Congress to move money from another part of the agency to better fund its detention efforts.
Morton stressed that career agency officials made the decision to release 2,228 illegal immigrants in February and place them on supervised monitoring programs in an effort to decrease operational costs in the agency ahead of the vast budget cuts under sequestration.
...The administration has said ICE released illegal immigrants who posed the lowest level of risk to the public.
Of the 2,228 illegal immigrants released last month, Morton said 70 percent did not have any prior criminal records and 20 percent had convictions for one or two misdemeanors.
Morton said on Tuesday that ICE had released “many” illegal immigrants who had drunk driving records, but only eight Level-1 criminal offenders, the most severe level of aggravated felons, had been released. Morton said four of those serious criminals had been subsequently detained again, because officials realized they had made a mistake in releasing them.
Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) focused in on the Level-1 criminal offenders who were released last month, saying that they are a serious danger to the American public.
“I’ve counted six times you have said you didn’t want to rob Peter to pay Paul. I don’t want Peter or Paul to rob one of our fellow citizens because you guessed wrong on who to release,” said Gowdy.
Gowdy said he thought the mass release of illegal immigrants was an attempt by the administration to scare the American public into pressuring Congress to make a deal with the president to avert the sequestration cuts which took effect on March 1. Gowdy grouped the illegal immigrant release with other actions, such as the White House’s temporary cancellation of public tours, reports from the administration about public school teachers who had been furloughed, and the administration’s expressed concern about untested food.
So, in other words, this Regime wanted to release people who not only broke our immigration laws, but also drove drunk or committed worse crimes, just so they can scare Americans make a political point.

And of course they won't admit to it either, it was all the work of some lower level flunkie, Meanwhile, we have e-mails going around from various agencies telling their staff to make the cuts painful.

A Late CPAC Wrap Up - Final Day

I meant to get to this earlier, but had items at home to take care of, plus needed to recuperate on some lost sleep.

The old axiom of "saving the best for last" rang true this past Saturday at CPAC, as the crescendo of the conference ended with a loud, exuberant one.

I'd mentioned earlier that morning how Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker gave a rousing address.

Dr. Ben Carson, who spoke at the prayer breakfast and, without naming names, attacked the Obama liberal agenda in a gentle way that drove the liberal media bonkers.

Dr. Carson sat down in a brief Q & A afterwards. The moderator noted how Carson took on the President in a "civil" tone. True, while Carson's message was, especially for that setting (a prayer breakfast), not a pointed one, I really tire of the constant urge of some to act civil when the liberals are so willing to attack conservatives with the worst language and smears. I'm not saying the conservative message has to be one of anger or division, but when street fighters attack you, you don't win by acting like Mr. Rogers.

Former Democrat Congressman Artur Davis spoke as well.

Various times during the week, I saw a great American hero by the name of Lt. Col. Allen West walking around. West was a Congressman in Florida before he was unfortunately defeated due in most part to the GOP establishment gerrymandering his district.

Another rising GOP star who should have been elected to Congress last year was Mia Love.  It was an honor to meet her.

Katie Pavlich, a great writer at who wrote the definitive book on Operation Fast and Furious, received the Blogger of the Year award.  Here she is being interviewed earlier Saturday.

Nearby in radio row, my good friend Larry O'Connor of and co-host of WMAL's Mornings on the Mall was interviewing Rep. Steve King.

As was another friend from past CPACs, Peter "Da Tech Guy" who as well as running a great blog, now has begun syndicating his radio show from Massachusetts.

If you're a station manager looking for a good show to pick up on Saturdays, check him out.

Unfortunately, due to a schedule conflict, I had to leave early Saturday, I missed hearing Sen. Ted Cruz from Texas give the keynote (though I was happy to have met and heard him at BlogBash, and introduce Sarah Palin).

I was in the room but had to leave Breitbart's "Uninvited" session, of which two of my favorites--Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer--participated in. (Atlas Shrugs)

Following that, was a screening of "Hating Breitbart." It was great to meet director Andrew Marcus, and to crack him up by my voice calling him out reminding him of the scene in the movie when I introduced myself to Andrew Breitbart.

CPAC is always great to revisit with fellow bloggers and activists whom you've met from previous years, and to meet new people. Some folks I missed or didn't get a chance to meet, hopefully next time our paths will cross.

Like going to Disneyland, there's so much to do at CPAC, but sometimes not enough time to do it.  I need to have three of me to make every session and speech so I can bring it to you here.

And if you ever get the chance...come out next year.

Newt: GOP Must Disenthrall Ourselves From Consultant Class

It's probably fortunate for GOP Chairman Rinse Preibus that I had to leave CPAC early today before he spoke. Because if I had been in the main ballroom to hear his speech, that voice yelling "bulls**t" would have probably been mine.

Like a Johnny-Come-Lately to the party, Priebus wanted to jump on the pro-Liberty bandwagon that GOP starts like Rand Paul, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz are blazing.  Never mind that it was people like Sarah Palin and the Tea Party who endorsed those people early on, while the GOP establishment and their consultant class opposed Paul, Rubio and Cruz.

It is this consultant class that Palin went after in her speech today, as did Texas Gov. Rick Perry on Thursday, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich this morning.

Gingrich said the GOP and the conservative movement "doesn't need new principles, but we need lots of ideas on how to implement those principles."

The former Speaker's criticism comes as he noted the GOP, under Preibus, is planning a review to find out what went wrong in 2012. Well, if Rinse had a brain inside his skull, he'd listen to Newt, Sarah Palin, and Pat Caddell, a Democrat pollster who worker for Jimmy Carter, who said on Thursday at CPAC.
The man who engineered Jimmy Carter’s 1976 presidential victory called the Romney campaign “the worst campaign in my lifetime” and criticized chief strategist Stuart Stevens, according to and
“There was a failure of strategy, a failure of tactics, a massive failure of messaging,” Caddell said. “Most of all there was a total failure of imagination. Stevens had as much business running a campaign as I do sprouting wings and flying out of this room.”
Participating in a panel — “Should We Shoot All the Consultants Now?” — Caddell accused the GOP consulting class of being only “in the business of lining their pockets and preserving power.”
“When you have the Chief of Staff of the Republican National Committee and the political director of the Romney campaign, and their two companies get $150 million at the end of the campaign for the “fantastic” get-out-the-vote program… some of this borders on RICO [the 1970 Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act] violations,” Caddell told attendees.
“The Republican Party is in the grips of what I call the CLEC — the consultant, lobbyist, and establishment complex,” Caddell said.
Here's the video of Caddell, via my new friends at Politichicks.

Now if a Democrat pollster knows more about why the GOP failed to defeat Obama and win the Senate than Rinse Preibus does, do you have a lot of confidence in his leadership, let alone effort to get the party to win?

(VIDEO) Sarah Palin Swipes Nanny Bloomberg With A Big Gulp At CPAC 2013

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin loves liberty...especially when it is a Big Gulp, or any other items liberals love to hate or want to ban.

Palin, in her address to CPAC earlier this afternoon, took a swipe at New York Mayor Nanny Bloomberg by bringing out a larger-than-16-oz Big Gulp and drinking it from the stage.

Bloomberg wasn't the only person Palin took a swipe at. She also took on the Architect......ssss (Karl Rove) and the GOP consultant class who engineered Mitt Romney's 2012 failed attempt to defeat Richard Milhous Obama.

Entire speech.

In a surprise introduction, Palin was introduced by the new US Senator from Texas, Ted Cruz, who was endorsed by Palin in the 2012 election. Cruz noted that, not only does Palin pick winners, she drives liberals and the media "bat crap crazy!"

Just as she did last year, Sarah Palin proved once again she can bring a unity and enthusiasm to a huge conservative event like CPAC.

Gov. Scott Walker at CPAC 2013

Wisconsin Gov Scott Walker just tore the roof off at CPAC 2013.

"In America people don't dream of being dependent on the government. ... That's why in America w take the day off & celebrate the Fourth of July not the 15th of April."

Benghazi Survivors Told To Be Quiet, Says Sen. Graham

More information about the survivors of the Benghazi attack of 9/11/2012 (Fox News).
Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham, in an extensive interview with Fox News, alleged that the injured survivors of the Benghazi terror attack have been "told to be quiet" and feel they can't come forward to tell their stories -- as he urged the House to subpoena the administration for details if necessary.
The South Carolina senator said he’s “had contact” with some of the survivors, calling their story “chilling.” He told Fox News that "the bottom line is they feel that they can't come forth, they've been told to be quiet."
The White House is denying any attempt to exert pressure on the surviving victims.
"I'm sure that the White House is not preventing anyone from speaking," White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said, when asked about the survivors.
But Graham said he thinks the administration is “trying to cover it up,” citing the valuable information the survivors hold.
“The best evidence of what happened in Benghazi is not a bunch of politicians in Washington trying to cover their political ass,” Graham said. “This is the people who lived through the debacle, and I’m going to do all I can to get them before the Congress and American people.”
He continued: "We cannot let this administration or any other administration get away with hiding from the American people and Congress, people who were there in real time to tell the story.”
Well, maybe you should have brought up this topic with your new BFF Richard Milhous Obama during the dinner with the Dirty GOP Dozen that you put together at his request.

Sights From CPAC 2013 - Friday

When I arrived at the Gaylord National Resort at National Harbor, MD today for CPAC 2013, I'd missed Donald Trump's speech, but caught the last half of Rep. Paul Ryan's address.

Later today, Gov. Mitt Romney, who Ryan served as running mate to on the GOP 2012 Presidential ticket, spoke, as I'd linked earlier.

Romney had spoken of using the 30 GOP governors as role models to base the comeback in 2016 on. One example of a great governor is Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, who spoke not long after Romney finished.

Jindal also shared some of his jokes he used from his well received Gridiron Club appearance recently.
But CPAC is more than just speeches from prominent conservative leaders and thinkers. It is also where various panel discussions, movies and awards are given out.
This morning, Rep. Michele Bachmann presented the Tea Party Blogger of the Year award to Julie Borowski.
In the hallway outside the main ballroom, someone placed the infamous example of just how big the Obamacare regulations are. If you want an idea of how tall this is, I'm 6'0" and it still towered over me.
When you're not in the audience for a major speech, attending a workshop, or hanging out with fellow conservatives, the CPAC Exhibit Hall is a great place to visit and learn more about various conservative organizations, sign up for giveaways, or attend book signings from various authors.

Even Marco Rubio's PAC was there. For a donation, you could have one of his water bottles as a way to poke fun at the mocking libs who took him to task for drinking bottled water on TV.

CPAC 2013 Warmly Receives Mitt Romney

"I reject pessimism."

Former Massachusetts Governor and unsuccessful 2012 GOP Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney received a warm, rousing welcome from a packed house at CPAC 2013 Friday afternoon, despite his defeat against Richard Milhous Obama last November.

Romney was introduced by South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who was one of the first Tea Party endorsed governors to endorse him during the GOP primary.

For his role as a former governor, Romney said the key to rejuvenating and rebounding is to look at the successes of 30 Republican governors across the country who have given their states leadership that has been lacking nationally.

In rejecting pessimism, Romney said he and his wife, Ann, were inspired during their travels during the 2012 campaign as they met people who inspired them, in how they innovated during hard times, or came to America, as one escapee of Vietnam did, to rise from a taxi driver to UN ambassador.

Romney did not address future plans, but said he would be a co-worker along other conservatives to work toward greater success in the future.

It's only unfortunate that he was unable to apply that passion to defeating Obama last November.

(VIDEO) "God Bless Bloggers" Sen. Ted Cruz Toasts Bloggers & Andrew Breitbart

Texas' newest US Senator, Ted Cruz, showed up at BlogBash at CPAC 2013 to thank bloggers "four your courage, for your fearsome, tireless advocacy for liberty."

"Y'all are on the front lines taking this country back."

Cruz, who was treated like a rock star by the bloggers in attendance, began by stating "God Bless Bloggers, and ended by raising a toast to the later Andrew Breitbart, "a great and fearless leader."

Other legislators attending included Reps. Tom Price and Bob Goodlatte.

Around 500 bloggers took part in BlogBash, which is put on by the National Bloggers Club.

Jim Hoft (Gateway Pundit) & Catherine Herridge (Fox News) Receive Reed Irvine AIM Awards

Accuracy in Media, a conservative media watchdog group, awarded blogger Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit and Catherine Herridge of Fox News their Reed Irvine award, named after AIM's founder.

In his acceptance speech, Hoft noted the inspiration of Iranian activist Ahmad Batebi, who was made famous in a photo waving a bloddy t-shirt in 1999. Batebi is now an American citizen and was in the room as Hoft received his award.

Herridge received her award in recognition of her work investigating and bringing the truth about theh Benghazi attack to America.

Rick Perry at CPAC 2013

Texas Governor Rick Perry just finished speaking moments ago at CPAC 2013.

Below are the first four minutes of his speech.

Perry took on the Obama Sequester, and callesd the release of illegal aliens a taxpayer funded jailbreak.  He asked if Obama cannot handle $85 billion worth of budget cuts, what makes anyone think he can handle billions of dollars of debt.

Perry noted how some in the "popular media" think the GOP and conservatives need to go more to the left, after the last election. But the Texas Governor said if conservatives had been nominated to run for President in 2008 and 2012, the results would have been different.

Additionally, Perry took on some GOP governors who have caved in an expanded Medicaid expansion (Obamacare) because of the delusion it's free money.

Rand Paul - Filibuster Wasn't Only About Drones

Kentucky Senator Rand Paul just finished speaking to the attendees at CPAC 2013, coming to the podium to the strains of Metallica's "Enter Sandman."

Paul said that his 13 hour filibuster last week on the Senate floor was about more than just drones targeting US citizens domestically, but whether or not the Bill of Rights still matters, and if the President is limited by the law.

Here are highlights of his speech:

Dan Bongino at CPAC 2013 - White House Tour Closure Politics, 2nd Amendment

This morning, I spoke with Dan Bongino, former US Secret Service agent who ran unsuccessfully for the US Senate in Maryland.

Bongino was on earlier this morning on Mornings on the Mall at WMAL and spoke about the politics behind the closure of White House tours. Richard Milhous Obama said it was a decision made by the Secret Service, but Bongino stated, via contacts he has, Obama lied. The White House tour closure was a political decision made by the White House, in which the Secret Service was essentially thrown under the bus by the Regime.

Additionally, Bongino spoke about his passionate speech on behalf of the Second Amendment that went viral.

Biden Mouths Off On Domestic Violence: "This Isn't Your Garden Variety Slap Across The Face"

Vice President Joe "Bite Me" Biden was in Maryland today to speak at a domestic violence awareness program when he said the following (Washington Free Beacon).

So, why would a slap across a woman's face be "garden variety" or somehow different from the other abuses Bite Me mentioned.  Abuse is abuse, period.

That silence you hear is the lack of outrage coming from the liberal activist media, the feminazis, the elected women in the Democrat Party like Debbie "Thunderlips" Wasserman-Schultz, who will forgive this doofus for anything he says.  If a Republican Vice President had said this, the outrage would be bubbling for the next four years.

I can recall back to the early 1990s, when liberals mocked Dan Quayle for mispelling "potato(e)" and claimed he was the dumbest person to be vice president. Well libs, compared to Biden, Dan Quayle is an intellectual giant.

Three-Hour Drug Cartel Gunfight In Mexico Border Town Leaves "Four Trucks Filled With Bodies"

What you hear in the raw YouTube video below happened just miles from the southern border of the United States, this past Sunday night.

The Monitor in McAllen, TX, across the border from Reynosa, reported the following.
Fear and panic filled the streets of Reynosa on Sunday night as rival gunmen battled during a three-hour firefight that saw automatic weapons and grenades used. Surprisingly, Mexican authorities were absent for most of the melee.
The opening clashes were reported just before 9 p.m. Sunday, when rival factions of the Gulf Cartel consummated what appeared to be a yet another rift within the criminal organization.
During the protracted gunbattle, dozens of gunmen were killed, but authorities Monday would only confirm the deaths of two bystanders and the injury of a third.
A Tamaulipas law enforcement official, who asked to not be named citing security reasons, confirmed that the death toll was about three dozen, however the exact figures were not known because cartel gunmen picked up their own people’s bodies during the struggle.
In a news release, the Tamaulipas Attorney General’s Office, known as the PGJE, confirmed that the two slain bystanders were a taxi driver and a teenager who was riding a vehicle with his father. The release confirms one person was injured and seven gunmen arrested, and it states that authorities seized 22 vehicles that were used in the melee, but it doesn’t mention any gunmen dying.
The Tamaulipas law enforcement agent called the new release issued by his superiors an insult to common sense.
“There were four trucks filled with bodies that (members of organized crime) picked up,” the official said. “That is not counting the (bodies) that were left behind.”
The news release doesn’t mention a bullet-riddled SUV that was left along Boulevard Hidalgo, one of the city’s main avenues, just south of Vista Hermosa Avenue near the local headquarters of Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office, known as the PGR. Inside the truck, four bloodied bodies could be seen from a distance hours after sundown Sunday. Just north of that location near the Fiesta Inn Hotel along Boulevard Hidalgo, another bullet-riddled vehicle could be seen with three bodies inside.
Makes you wonder if any Fast and Furious weapons might have been used in this gunbattle.
From growing up in this area back in the 1970s and 80s, I can remember when Reynosa and other border towns (Matamoros, Progreso) were safe places to visit, eat and shop. That is no longer the case.

Liberal Jim Moran Dodges Question "Why Aren't You Pro-Choice When It's Self Defense For Women?"

Northern Virginia's moonbat Congressman Jim Moron (aka - the Alexandria Town Drunk) held a town hall meeting last night titled “Preventing Another Newtown: A Conversation on Gun Violence in America.”  According to, Moron didn't want to have much of a conversation, judging from the names on the panel (all anti-gun activists).

Neither did he want to respond to his hypocrisy about being "pro-choice" when it comes to abortion, but not allowing a woman to defend herself.

From Celia Bigelow, via Twitter:

"Buy why aren't you pro-choice when it comes to self-defense for women? Why do male politicians stand from their Ivory towers and like to tell women how they should defend themselves? For example why don't you guys listen to the young rape victims in Colorado when they said if they had a gun they could have prevented their attacker? Why do you legislate women being victims?
Moron's response to Bigelow? "On to the next question, let the gentleman now speak?

Isn't that interesting? Moron and other Democrat libs want to use women as political pawns, but don't want the women to speak or defend themselves.

Can you say, "War on Women?"

Why won't you answer Ms. Bigelow's question? What about rape vicitms? What about elderly citizens who have had their homes broken to in the middle of the night? What if you are being stalked by a convicted bomber?

Oh, and speaking of which, who wants to have a lecture about violence from a guy who has stated he likes to hit people, and whose son rammed his girlfriend's head into a metal trash can outside an Arlington, VA bar?

Bloomberg's Soda Ban In New York Struck Down Day Before It Goes Into Effect

At least one judge has his head screwed on straight, and strikes down Nanny New York Mayor Bloomberg's soda ban law down (Wall Street Journal, via Human Events).

The city is “enjoined and permanently restrained from implementing or enforcing the new regulations,” New York Supreme Court Judge Milton Tingling decided Monday.
The regulations are “fraught with arbitrary and capricious consequences,” the judge wrote. “The simple reading of the rule leads to the earlier acknowledged uneven enforcement even within a particular city block, much less the city as a whole….the loopholes in this rule effectively defeat the state purpose of the rule.”
I heard on the way home that some businesses have already made the change and gotten rid of the bigger than 16 oz cups. So, how much of a loss are some of these businesses suffering?

Mark Kelly, Gun Grabbing Husband Of Gabby Giffords, Buys AR-15

Guns for me but not for you.

Mark Kelly, husband of Gabby Giffords who used the Sandy Hook tragedy to put himself in the spotlight, wants to control your ability to defend yourself with a gun...but he's willing to by one for himself (Breitbart).

Illustration via iOwnTheWorld, h/t BigFurHat
Mark E. Kelly, gun-control proponent and husband to former Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, recently purchased an AR-15 (an "assault weapon," he called it)—which he now says he intended as an illustration of the need for more stringent gun laws.
Kelly reportedly bought the AR-15 and a 1911-style semi-automatic pistol at Diamondback Police Supply in Tucson, Arizona.
Various sources contacted Breitbart News once Kelly made the purchase, and after we began investigating the details surrounding the purchase, Kelly announced on his Facebook that he was not going to keep the AR-15, which he has yet to pick up from the store.

...In February, Kelly told Fox News Sunday’s Chris Wallace that lawmakers need to address “assault weapons.” He said the purpose of an “assault weapon” is “to kill a lot of people very quickly,” and he lamented that such products were “too readily available.”
Kelly has not commented on whether he will also return the .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol he purchased.

Why is he not keeping it? Because the canary got caught?

Kelly recently went to Colorado to testify on behalf of a Democrat-backed "gun control" (we know that means "people control") bill.

Not only is Mark Kelly a hypocrite, he is a first-class creep.  He uses the tragic shooting of his wife to attack and slander Sarah Palin and the Tea Party as being responsible. Now, after Sandy Hook, he uses his recovering wife as a political pawn to play on people's emotions to get them and surrender their Second Amendment freedom.

Mark Kelly is akin to an ambulance chasing-lawyer, the worst kind of scumbag. Truth be known, he's just using these tragedies and his wife to make a name for himself and a possible political career.
