Remembering Andrew Breitbart...One Year Later

It is hard to believe that tomorrow, March 1, is one year since we lost a giant new media force in Andrew Breitbart.  Sadly, tonight, we learned the news that Andrew's mother, Arlene, passed away yesterday...two days before the anniversary of her sons's own passing.

Many of us had been at CPAC just a couple of weeks earlier, saw the trailer for the upcoming "Hating Breitbart" documentary, witnessed his last major speech, and saw him later getting in the faces of the Occupy squatters who showed up outside the hotel to protest CPAC (being paid $60 by their unions, I must add).  Little did we know that it would be the last time we saw him.

No one can replace Andrew Breitbart, but the best way we can continue to remember him is to take his bold, fighting spirit and Be Breitbart. Via, Twitter, or if you have a blog, if you're at a Tea Party, a town hall or some other can be part of the New Media revolution.  More importantly, it is also important to take back the popular culture from the Left.  If you read (and if you haven't yet, you should) his book "Righteous Indignation" he stresses how important it is to win the culture.

In honor of Andrew Breitbart's memory, I'm posting video I took at the 9/12 Rally in Washington DC on September 12, 2010.

In this video, he mentions how that event occurred on the one year anniversary of the launch of Big Government with the ACORN expose videos.   He addressed the members of the Legacy Media who were there:
As your profits are going down as were turning to other channels and going to the Internet where there’s free and open debate, Something really strange happened on the way to the forum. You became the media. You took their jobs because they wouldn’t do their jobs. How do I know that? Because my media empire is YOU! You’re the ones who write for me. I don’t have a private jet. I don’t have a house out on Montauk on Long Island. I’ve got two car payments. I’ve got a mortgage I can’t afford, and I want to save the country with you. That is what we do. We are a citizen journalism army, and we are going to take this country back.”
So, in honor of Andrew Breitbart, lets continue fighting to take this country back.

Obama Lapdog Media Covers For Him, Attack Bob Woodward

Bob Woodward of the Washington ComPost, made famous for his expose of President Richard Milhous Nixon's involvement in the Watergate cover up that led to Nixon's resignation, has probably lost his 40 year reputation as a renowned journalist for the crime of practicing an act of journalism.

Earlier tonight, Woodward told CNN a senior level White House staffer threatened him that "you will regret" reporting the truth about Richard Milhous Obama and the sequester.

Judging from several Tweets from media types, many of them are acting like propagandists for the Obama White House, instead of journalists.

Liberal Matt Yglesias:

Michael Grunwald of Time
In other words...Bob Woodward is senile, according to

Lis Smith, who worked for Obama's campaign, wrote the following after it was announced Woodward will appear on Sean Hannity's TV show tomorrow, as well as accusing the veteran reporter of "making it (the sequester story) about him."

So did David Plouffe, who was Obama's campaign manager and advisor to That One.

Eric Boehlert, senior fellow of the George Soro$ funded Democrat non-profit hack group Media Mutters.

Many on the conservative side are worried that Woodward may become an Obama drone target.  I think Obama would send a warning first, in an attempt to muzzle the veteran journalist.

Probably involving the Woodward family dog.

All I know is that the Beltway Media is covering for Obama just like the San Francisco Bay Area media used to circle the wagons around charismatic cult leader the Rev. Jim Jones in the early to mid-1970s.

Worse than Nixon, and spoken like a dictator!

Mark Levin was just talking about this on his radio show, of what a "senior person" at the White House e-mailed Washington ComPost reporter of Watergate fame, Bob Woodward (Business Insider).

Bob Woodward said this evening on CNN that a "very senior person" at the White House warned him that he would "regret doing this," the same day he has continued to attack President Barack Obama over the looming forced cuts known as the sequester.
CNN host Wolf Blitzer said that the network invited a White House official to debate Woodward on-air, but the White House declined.
"I think they're confused," Woodward said of the White House's pushback on his reporting.
Earlier today on MSNBC's "Morning Joe," Woodward ripped into Obama in what has become an ongoing feud between the veteran Washington Post journalist and the White House. Woodward said Obama was showing a "kind of madness I haven't seen in a long time" for a decision not to deploy an aircraft carrier to the Persian Gulf because of budget concerns.
Here's the video

When he says "very senior official" does he mean Valerie Jarrett?

It's time for a reprise of "All the President's Men." This kind of thuggery by the Obama White House is un-American and reminiscent of a fascist dictatorship.

Obama Plays Hostage-Taker Over Sequester By Releasing Illegal Aliens

Like a hostage taker with a gun to the head of his victim, Richard Milhous Obama's DHS is doing a pre-sequester release of those who broke our immigration laws so they can get his way over his manufactured crisis. (Fox News).
The Department of Homeland Security has started releasing hundreds of illegal immigrants held in local jails in anticipation of automatic budget cuts, in a move one Arizona sheriff called politically motivated -- and dangerous.
Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said Tuesday that Immigration and Customs Enforcement released more than 500 detainees in his county alone over the weekend. A spokesman for Babeu told that ICE officials have said they plan to release a total of nearly 10,000 illegal immigrants.
The numbers, though, are in dispute. ICE officials said that it's unclear how many ultimately might be released and that only 303 have been released from four Arizona facilities so far, though all those are in Pinal County. According to ICE, 2,280 detainees are still in custody in those facilities.
Babeu described the move as a "mass budget pardon" and suggested the administration was going to unnecessary lengths to demonstrate the impact of the so-called sequester.
"President Obama would never release 500 criminal illegals to the streets of his hometown, yet he has no problem with releasing them in Arizona. The safety of the public is threatened and the rule of law discarded as a political tactic in this sequester battle," he said.
The bastard Obama will do anything he can to squeeze more money out of our pockets.  If we had some serious statesmen in the Republican Party, instead of the wimp leadership who reside in it, there should be impeachment resolutions being drafted.

20 Years Ago Today -- First Attack On World Trade Center

Twenty years ago today, this was video from ABC's Nightline...
But it wasn't enough to rouse us into action against an enemy that had been at war with us since 1979...Islamic extremism.

Twenty years later, and almost 12 years after Islamic terrorists returned to destroy the WTC on September 11, 2001, Andrew McCarthy writes at National Review Online that we are "more willfully blind" to the reason we were attacked.

The rationale of jihadist terror is to diminish our resolve to resist the gradual erosion of freedom and the relentless demands of Islamists — especially, Islamists of the Brotherhood variety. After the Blind Sheikhs and the bin Ladens have softened up the target, it is the Brothers who beguile us. Impeccably well-mannered and wearing neatly tailored suits, they flack for Hamas and maintain, straight-faced, that free speech is not so much a right to condemn their totalitarian ideology as a responsibility to suppress examination of it.
In that ideology, the implementation of classical sharia is the necessary precondition for Islamizing a society. Sharia is the architecture for a global caliphate. This is why Egypt’s president, Mohamed Morsi, a Muslim Brotherhood chieftain, promised that when elected he would birth a new constitution enshrining “the sharia, then the sharia, and finally the sharia” — a promise on which he has followed through. This is the utopia of all Islamists, be they terrorists, or faux moderates who proclaim their willingness to pursue totalitarian ends by “peaceful political” means, or the Muslim masses who celebrate 9/11 and vote Brotherhood parties into power.
We did not want to acknowledge the sharia logic of the terrorists 20 years ago. We were told then that Islam had nothing to do with attacks on the West incited by Muslim jurists citing Muslim scripture.
There is no selling that fairy tale today, not after thousands of Americans have lost their lives. So the lie has become more aggressive, like Islam itself. While poseurs such as John Brennan — President Obama’s counterterrorism czar and nominee for CIA director — distort the meaning of jihad, Islamists and their fellow travelers seek not merely to suppress by intimidation but to criminalize by law the objective examination of Islamic supremacism.

We’ve gone from willful blindness to coerced silence. We see the wages of it in the Middle East as supremacists, under the guise of a “springtime” for freedom, strangle the region with sharia. As I detail in Spring Fever: The Illusion of Islamic Democracy (my e-book about the “Arab Spring,” which was released as a paperback today), the path taken by the Muslim Brotherhood rulers of Egypt follows — at a dizzying pace — the trail already blazed by Turkey’s Islamists, who are transforming a once-democratic, pro-Western society into an authoritarian sharia state.

Worse, we see the wages of coerced silence in the West, where the campaign to demagogue truth-tellers as “Islamophobes” — meaning, as racists — has devolved into an Islamist effort, supported by the Obama administration, to make speech about Islam a violation of international law.
Twenty years later, a Muslim extremist in the US Army can kill Americans yelling "Allah Akbar" and the pro-Muslim Brotherhood Obama Regime calls it "workplace violence." The same Regime that wanted to blame the Benghazi consulate attack on the 11th anniversary of 9/11 on a YouTube video, while Islamists seek the relase of the "Blind Sheikh" who inspired the 1993 WTC attack.  What's next? Who will be killed or injured in another attempt to pressure Obama to free the Blind Sheikh?

Michelle Malkin writes:
We always hear “Never forget.” But how many still remember anymore? And how many have really learned?
It's sad to think that, 20 years after this attack on our shores, and 11 years after 9/11, America is a 9/10 nation under the Obama Regime.

Anti-Semite Chuck Hagel Approved As Sec. of Defense...Thanks To GOP Sellouts

As if things couldn't get worse, the GOP shows again it's willing to sell out to "make nice." (Yahoo News).
The Senate on Tuesday voted to confirm former Nebraska Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel as secretary of defense, overcoming a fierce campaign by some GOP lawmakers to block President Barack Obama's nominee.
Hagel's nomination, which required support from just a majority of the chamber, passed 58-41.
Four Republicans voted to approve Hagel's nomination: Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi, Sen. Mike Johanns of Nebraska and Sen. Richard Shelby of Alabama.
I'm assuming Rand Paul voted for Hagel so he could placate some of his dad's looney, anti-military, anti-Semitic followers.  Of course, Hagel wouldn't have gotten approval if it hadn't been for that one egotistical RINO sack of crap named John McLame and his little lapdog Lindsey Grahamnesty.
Two weeks ago, Hagel’s first confirmation vote ended with a failed effort by Senate Democrats to get a cloture vote. Although All but three Republicans voted against cloture at the time, influential Sens. John McCain (R-Arizona), Saxby Chambliss (R-Georgia) and others indicated their intention to end debate when the Senate returned from its recess today. Accordingly, a critical number of Republicans have voted with Democrats to end debate on the nomination.
Does it not matter to the GOP or any sane American that Hagel was picked for two reasons?  First Obama can blame a Republican (in name only) for gutting defense and because Hagel is as much of an anti-Semite as Obama is.

The Mullahs in Iran must be as overjoyed as they were when Obama nominated Hagel, while our ally in the Middle East gets slighted again.

Levin, Radtke Go After McDonnell, RINOs Who Voted For Largest Tax Increase In Virginia

The displeasure and disgust felt toward RINO Governor of Virginia Bob McDonnell went nationwide last night.

Mark Levin, a northern Virginia resident, used his nationally syndicated radio show to go after McDonnell and the sellouts in the Republican Party who voted for the largest tax increase in Virginia history (Mofo Politics).

Levin said, “I am going to fight every single Republican politician that participated in this disgraceful disaster…”

Jamie Radtke, who ran for the GOP nomination for US Senate last year and is co-founder of the Virginia Tea Party Federation, was on WTVR Channel 6 and expressed similar disgust with the bill.

The video to Radtke's interview I'm not able to embed (click on link to view), but she says that there is no guarantee the Commonwealth will even use the fund to pay for transportation, noting that liberal governor Mark Warner used similar tax increases as a "slush fund."  Radtke noted there were other alternatives to spending money on transportation that didn't involve raising taxes.

If you're a Virginia resident, it's time to raise hell with these GOP sellouts in the state legislature who stuck us with more taxes.

VA Governor Bob McDonnell, GOP's New Version Of George "Read My Lips" Bush

With the exception of just a few in Congress, as well as in the state legislatures, the Republican Party is beginning to become indistinguishable from the Democrats.  The only difference being, they just want a slower path to bigger government.

Take my governor, Bob McDonnell of Virginia, who grassroots conservatives are ashamed of after this weekend. The Virginia legislature "reached across party lines" (meaning - both sides come together to screw us all) to approve a transportation bill that will raise taxes on citizens of the Commonwealth during these down economic times, regardless of the fact that McDonnell has pledged previously not to raise taxes.

May I remind you? (On the
I will veto any bill or budget which raises taxes Virginians are struggling with the worst economy in generations. We will not turn our economy around by taxing Virginians more. To do so would ignore the indisputable truth that the fiscal fortune of any government is tied to the economic prosperity of its people. Therefore, if you pass a bill in this recession that raises taxes on the hardworking families of Virginia--I WILL VETO IT. And if you pass a budget embedded with those same tax increases--I WILL NOT APPROVE IT.

Use general funds for transportation bill, not new taxes
Bob McDonnell has pledged not to sign a transportation bill with new revenue. His approach is to pay for transportation with money from the general fund. As The Post has reported, "general funds can be spent at the discretion of the General Assembly and the governor. The majority of the money in the general fund goes to education (45.9%), with the rest to health and human resources (24.2%) and public safety (11.1%)."
Republicans and Democrats in the General Assembly are on record opposing taking funds from these critical priorities to pay for roads. McDonnell's idea of using general funds for transportation is not new. In 2007, an editorial in the Daily Press of Hampton Roads said that McDonnell urged "the General Assembly to exploit the gap in state road funding as a rationale for reducing state spending on education, public safety, health care and conservation. That such an ideological purpose lies behind the Republican transportation proposal has been implied all along. McDonnell made it explicit.
Source: Creigh Deeds editorial in Washington Post , Sep 23, 2009
That was then, this is now. McDonnell has praised the "compromise" (read: sellout).

Erick Erickson has more at RedState:
On Friday, March 15, 2013, at 8:00 a.m. Bob McDonnell will go to CPAC and address the Faith & Freedom Coalition Prayer Breakfast. For those of you who attend this event, you will be sitting staring at a liar.
If you are a conservative, remember Bob McDonnell thinks you’re an idiot.
That’s the only explanation I can think of for what just happened in Virginia this week. That, and that McDonnell is an unprincipled fake conservative whose promises are without value, an exemplar of the kind of big government pro-tax Republican who ruined the party’s stature with fiscal conservatives.
Bob McDonnell promised when he ran for governor that he’d never raise taxes. He talks a good game to conservative audiences, about principled leadership and the like. He can pretend he’s one of you. He’s got great hair. He’ll speak at the Faith & Freedom Coalition Prayer Breakfast at CPAC as if he is one of us.
But when push comes to shove, when the time comes that being a conservative demands that you stand up for what’s right and reject the easy way out, Bob McDonnell is not going to stand on principle. He’s going to cave to what the media calls “leadership” which is really just big government liberalism.
Bob McDonnell was getting all kinds of praise on the Sunday shows for his big transportation tax hike, which passed the Virginia legislature this week. He was getting praise from big government liberals like Tim Kaine and Terry McAuliffe and Martin O’Malley for his evenhandedness, his leadership, not like those troublesome conservatives in Washington who refuse to wheel and deal.
But part of this "compromise" is that McDonnell is surrendering on the expansion of Medicaid exchanges as part of the Feds implementing Obamacare, as Erickson points out.
But we already know McDonnell’s word is meaningless. So he wrote a letter saying he’d support a state commission to expand Medicaid instead, paired with “cost cutting reforms” and impossible-to-enforce commitments from the government and the like. It was just more meaningless talk to get political cover for expanding the worst-run entitlement program in the country. Leadership on both sides will make sure the bicameral commission will be nothing but a speed bump towards expanding the program and exploding the same program whose outcomes are so awful, a University of Virginia study recently found you were more likely to die on the table as a Medicaid recipient than if you had no insurance at all.
In other words, Bob McDonnell was so desperate to raise taxes, he was willing to sell out on Obamacare, too. He was willing to sell out his party, his base, and his principles. And he did it with a smile.
The plan all along was to tax people more. The Medicaid expansion will do that too, adding in huge tax increases in future years when federal funding drops. And McDonnell got what he want. He passed his tax hike with a higher percentage of Democrats in the General Assembly voted for it than Republicans. He passed it despite the opposition of every Republican running statewide this year, including Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli.
Never mind that McDonnell had written on letter on Feb. 20, in which he stated:
"Please understand that I cannot and will not support consideration of an expansion of Medicaid in Virginia until major reforms are authorized and completed, and until we receive guarantees that the federal government's promises to the states can be kept without increasing the immoral national debt. To do so would be irresponsible and place crushing financial burdens on future governors and legislatures. The country is broke, and I will not support policies that make it worse."
Just like his "read my new taxes" pledge when running for Governor, McDonnell surrendered on ObamaCare just days after writing those words above.

Smitty at The Other McCain notes:
Laughing hysterically at all this: Mark Warner, who could have faced a significant challenge on his record from McDonnell in 2014, but now will do to McDonnell what Smilin’ Timmy Kaine did to George Allen, or, if you will, what Obama did to John McCain. Or Romney.
What a pile of bollocks. If there is some rationale or strategy to jacking taxes and spending when what’s needed is a downsizing of government, I’d be interested in hearing such.
Compromise is one thing, but surrendering your principles is not is cowardice. Why? For praise by the liberal activist media? Liberal partisans like Fartin O'Malley, who has run Maryland into the ground?

So much for any chance of higher office.

Congratulations Bob McDonnell, you've just become the GOP's newest version of George H.W. Bush.

Obama Campaign Organizing Bus Protest For Gun Bill Opposed By NRA, Plus Fake Twitter Accounts

The Community Organizer-in-Chief is rallying people in unprecedented ways that some are questioning if it's even legal.

Posted at (via Gateway Pundit), is this rally in Albany in support of a bill that is under protest by the NRA. The Obama Astroturf Ogranization is looking to rally for liberal Gov. Cuomo's bill, with the help of the (S)SEIU.

You remember the S-SEIU, don't you?  They attacked a black man, Kenneth Gladney, at a Tea Party rally outside a health-care town hall around St. Louis in 2009, physically assaulting him and calling him a "n*gger."

(S)SEIU also had links to groups that birthed the Occupy Squatter movement in 2011.

There appears to be a lot of this astroturfing going on from Obama's campaign arm. Just the other day on Twitter, the hashtag #WeDemandAVote was put out by Obama for his gun-grabbing campaign. Several conservatives on Twitter noted that some of the Twitter accounts pushing the hashtag had been created that same day, or had zero to few followers/tweets (Twitchy).

Community agitating, all from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

"Hating Breitbart" To Be Re-Released In May, NY Screening On March 1

In case you missed the initial release last October, or were unable to see it because it wasn't in your area, "Hating Breitbart" is going to be re-released on May 17, after some additional cutting allowed the rating to be changed from "R" to "PG-13".

DVD and On-demand releases will occur around that time as well.

More from Anne Sorock, Legal Insurrection.
After I was able to see one of the screenings in St. Louis last year, I wrote this review. It was enormously entertaining, bittersweet, and exciting. It was more than a documentary, rather a documentation of the causes Andrew Breitbart awakened us all to: the venality and condescension of politicians and mainstream media in our culture.
I wrote then that it was a must-see, but many couldn’t see it for lack of more widespread distribution. Be sure to pick it up in May, and for those of you who live in the New York City area, Marcus has been hinting on twitter that a free screening may be coming your way on the anniversary of Andrew’s death, March 1:

The movie, which had earned an “R” rating, has been recut for PG-13 audiences, and has picked up a new distributor, Freestyle Releasing. The R-rated version will be available in addition to the PG-13 on DVD.
The screening in New York will take place on March 1, the one year anniversary of Andrew's untimely passing. If you're in the area, e-mail  with your name, e-mail and phone number to be placed on the list. You can find out more as well at the "Hating Breitbart" website.

MUST SEE VIDEO - Dan Bongino "No Such Thing As Gun Control, Only People Control"

Across America today, rallies are being held as part of a "Day of Resistance" against the executive orders issued by Dictator in Chief Richard Milhous Obama as a form of attacking the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

Almost a month ago in Annapolis, MD, Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent who ran unsuccessfully for US Senate last year (met him at CPAC 2012), gave an off-the-cuff speech about a month ago at a Guns Across America rally that was captured in this video that Independent Journal Review posted and apparently is starting to catch fire.

You must hear this and pass this along...

"There is no such thing as gun control. Don't co-opt their language. There is only people control. I can prove it to you. ...I never arrested or investigated someone on a gun crime who had that gun legally. ...Do not co-opt the language. When they own the language, they own the argument. ...We live in a society of wolves. You do not fight back by creating more sheep."
Isn't that the truth?  What do you think Obamacare is?  Serious health-care reform?  No way! Democrat Rep. John Dingbell, a big proponent of socialized medicine, said the following after that bill was crammed down our throats in 2010.
"It takes a long time to do necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put legislation together to control the people."
Even some black ministers are echoing Bongino's statement (CNSNews, via Gateway Pundit).
Ken “The Hutch” Hutcherson, former linebacker with the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and pastor of the Antioch Bible Church, told “gun control is about controlling people.” asked: From what was said today, it seems in fact that gun control hurts the African American community.
“It absolutely does, there’s no doubt about it,” Hutcherson said. “It began that way with history. You see why there was so much gun control earlier in life – in American life – because it controlled African Americans.
“Gun control is about controlling people,” he said. “We need to understand that those who need to be trained, who need to be armed is the African American community, and I don’t understand why any African American that is there in Congress right now would have the slightest thought about taking guns away from African Americans. We need them.”
And the way the liberals ask you submit is to always to it "for the greater good."

Seriously...Where Does It All End?

Rush Limbaugh went there today.

“Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time in my life, I am ashamed of my country. To be watching all of this, to be treated like this, to have our common sense and intelligence insulted the way it’s being insulted? It just makes me ashamed. Seriously, man. Here we get worked up over $44 billion. That’s the total amount of money that will not be spent that was scheduled to be spent this year. In truth, we’re gonna spend more this year than we spent last year.”
I know how he feels. it's how I felt on November 7, 2012, though I phrased it much differently.
I am ... ashamed of what America has now become with the re-election of the most corrupt, failed Presidencies in American history, that of Richard Milhous Obama. A majority of voters willing to give up their liberties for the security of "gimmies' that half the population takes, paid for by the other half of us who are told we must sacrifice more. Their leaders (Obama, "Dingy" Harry Reid, David Axlerod, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz) are shrill, angry, mean voices who feed on the victim mentality, shun self-sufficiency, and keep the victim class in line by fear that their goodies will be taken away.
Which has me thinking...where does it all end? It's not just the sequester, which (as Rush accurately pointed out) is just another manufactured crisis. It is how this community agitator who occupies the title of "President" uses these crises to motivate his activist army, and goes before his willing lapdogs in the activist media, who regurgitate every word he says and uses to try and instill fear in us that The Sky Is Falling unless we give up more of our hard-earned money in taxes to the god of government, as well as surrender more of our liberty and right to self-defense and security to government.

This sequester is another crisis where Thug Obama holds the nation hostage demanding more "revenue" (i.e. - higher taxes) or an increase in the debt ceiling while those who talk about fiscal sanity are outnumbered by the linguine-spined "leadership" in Congress who are willing to surrender some and kick the can down the road for the next manufactured crisis.  Meanwhile, Obama and his liberals tell us they can never do without one penny less that they don't have, while we the American people are supposed to make due with less of our own money.

How about some of these government employees who will be furloughed?  Well, maybe we should start with the thugs at the TSA for one, who are a bunch of government bureaucrats who are abusing their power on law-abiding citizens for the crime of travelling for pleasure or business.  Did you see the latest abuse by these creeps?  What was done to a handicapped three year old girl on a dream trip to Disney World?

I can't even watch this. Any person with a soul will want to shed a tear while at the same time want to break something in anger at this injustice.  Oh sure, TSA now has apologized. Too late now!  This poor girl isn't the only one. It's happened to other children, it's happened to women who get practically molested by these thugs, all because our government doesn't want to do any kind of real screening for fear of offEEEEEnding someone who might be from a segment of the population where these terrorist attacks have happened.

No, I'm not saying we don't need security, but the government sure is making us feel less secure for travelling by plane with this abuse.  The TSA should be sued out of existence, and we should go back to using private security, which wasn't the problem to begin with pre-9/11. It was how lawsuits were being filed to make sure certain people weren't profiled.  The airlines and private security companies can do a better job of security, instead of this Regime who seem to get their rocks off by abusing their power over the citizens of this nation.

Speaking about security, what about the right, guaranteed by the Second Amendment, to keep and bear arms?  What part of "shall not be infringed" do these liberal morons not understand?  A tragedy happens because some unbalanced loon gets a gun and all of a sudden, Dictator Obama and the Democrats use that and a stage full of children as props to convince you to give up your right to defend yourself.  Liberals in Colorado talked dismissively of women as potential rape victims being unable to defend themselves with a gun, but should rely instead on a callbox, a ball-point pen, a useless "gun free zone sign," or urinating on their attacker to defend them instead.

Katie Pavlich wrote about Amanda Collins horrifying rape at, and how none of what these Democrats in Colorado proposed as defense measures against a rapist kept her safe.
Amanda Collins is a young rape survivor. While in college in 2007, she was raped 50 feet away from the campus police department office at the University of Nevada-Reno and was lucky to get out alive. Her attacker was James Biela, a serial rapist who raped two other women and murdered another. He attacked her at gun point in a gun free zone. At the time of the attack, Collins was in possession of a concealed weapons permit but was not in possession of her firearm due to university policies prohibiting carrying concealed weapons on campus. She was also a second degree blackbelt at the time and walked to the parking garage with a large group of people. Today, Collins did an interview with NRA News host Cam Edwards to tell her horrific story. She explained why Colorado Democratic Rep. Joe Salazar's comments about call boxes and rape whistles being sufficient self defense for women on campus will only result in more uncessary victims.
"If I had been carrying that night, two other rapes would have been prevented and a young life would have been saved," Collins said. "All of these are just sentiments that give a false sense of security. In my experience I know that the university that I attended, the University of Nevada-Reno, they didn't didn't have any call boxes the night I was attacked. They afterwards installed them but I can tell you that a call box above my head while I was straddled on the parking garage floor being brutally raped wouldn't have helped me one bit. The safe zone? I was in a safe zone and my attacker didn't care," Collins said. "It's known that I could see the police cruisers less than 50 feet away from me, from where I was being attacked but the moment I saw those cruisers, I knew at the same time that no one was coming for me....they were all off duty. The offices had closed. They weren't in their cruisers, there was no one there. A whistle wouldn't have gotten anybody's attention. It was isolated, it was late at night. It's really frustrating that I'm supposed to hand over my own protection to a man but they're not able to guarantee our protection and the comments that this representative made about women not knowing if they're going to be raped or accidentally shooting the wrong person was extremely offensive because he specifically targeted female students. So, is he saying that all women are unable to make sound decisions in the midst of that, that we should go against our God given gut instinct that something was wrong? I knew something was wrong the moment I was grabbed from behind."
Meanwhile, Richard Milhous Obama's activist army is out doing their community agitator's work, while he reads off the names of people while saying "they deserve a vote."  Well Mister Obama, doesn't Amanda Collins deserve a vote as well?  Doesn't Columbine High survivor Evan Todd deserve a vote?  Why is it that, in the name of security, you and your liberal allies want to punish those who obey the laws, not the ones who break gun laws and carry them illegally?  Why do you want the law-abiding to give up more liberty in the name of security?

Which is why I ask, where does it all end?  When will Americans finally say "enough is enough." Quit taking more of our hard earned money for your failed social programs and crony-capitalist payoffs, and quit taking our liberty in the name of security?

VA Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling (RINO) Airs Sour Grapes, Attacks "Shift to Right" Of GOP

Besides the "consultant" GOP model of selecting candidates advocated by loser Karl Rove, the biggest hinderance to Republican candidates like Richard Mourdock (never mind his out of context statement) and Joe Miller in 2010 are the sore loser, establishment incumbents who have a public temper-tantrum that ends up helping the liberal Democrat win.

Virginia's RINO Lt. Governor Bill Bolling is in the middle of his meltdown, and has been since giving up his quest to become the GOP's candidate for Virginia's governor this year.  In doing so, he went to the Democrat's propaganda organ, the Washington ComPost, to vent, much to their delight.

Until three months ago, when he dropped out of the race to become the Republican nominee for governor, Virginia Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling had to keep mum about his unhappiness with the GOP’s shift to the right.
He couldn’t say, as he did in an interview here Tuesday, that he thought the Republicans had become so extreme that they were alienating voters and blocking the commonwealth’s progress.
He couldn’t say, as he did Tuesday, that “not every government program is bad, and not everyone who receives a public benefit is a freeloader.”
Or that it’s “irresponsible” to take “absolute positions” never to raise taxes.
Or that last year’s Republican-backed fetal ultrasound bill was “an absolutely unmitigated disaster.”
...It’s not what Bolling wanted. But it left him in a unique position, rare among politicians, to say what he really thinks.
“Frankly, it has been a rather liberating experience,” Bolling said. “I have enjoyed the last three months . . . more than I did the prior several years.”
Some Republicans dismiss Bolling’s comments as the gripes of a sore loser, but they can’t ignore his stature in the party. He was elected twice on the GOP ticket to Virginia’s No. 2 executive position. As presiding officer of the Senate, he gives the balance of power to the Republicans in the 20-20 chamber.
“It’s just a challenging time for the Republican Party when a conservative, mainstream guy like me doesn’t really feel comfortable with his party,” Bolling said. “The party has moved too far, and it’s become too extreme and too ideological.”
Isn’t Bolling effectively conceding that in the past he hid his concerns about the GOP from voters? Well, yes.
“The unfortunate truth is when you are a political partisan, you are always worrying in the back of your mind about how your comments and actions are going to be perceived,” he said.
Bolling hasn’t yet given up hope of winning the governorship. He’s going to decide by March 14 whether to run as an independent. He would position himself as a moderate conservative between the right-wing attorney general and the likely Democratic nominee, Terry McAuliffe, a former Democratic National Committee chairman.
Keep in mind, Bill Bolling was the guy who essentially forced the loser Mittens Romney on the Commonwealth's voters in the GOP Primary. Because he was Mittens' campaign chair in Virginia, Bolling refused to allow Newt Gingrich or Rick Perry into the primary because of a late rule change that disqualified signatures on Gingrich and Perry's petitions, they were disqualified. Bolling even chided Ken Cuccinnelli for trying to come up with a fix.

Bill Bolling calls himself a conservative, he's not. Bolling is a typical, good-old boy, country-club GOP establishment type. He's the kind of wimpish candidate Karl Rove would get behind.  Bolling's atttitude is just reminiscent of the attitude of the Karl Rove supported establishment candidates...whine and don't support the party choice when you're denied your "next in line" status.

Mark Levin Exposes Overspending Obama Won't Cut: PLUS, Obama Threatened To Veto Any Effort To Stop Sequester

Last night, syndicated radio show host Mark Levin, aka "The Great One" completely took apart Richard Milhous Obama's lies that were broadcast on our TVs yesterday, as well as his fear mongering over any cuts.

The clip starts at the beginning of the show below (about 1:30, after the commercial), Right Scoop has the pertinent clip as well.

"They (the government) waste $125 billion a year, and there he is (Obama) with his crocodile tears, talking about hospitals closing, airplanes not flying, cars not driving....Obama is hooked on taxes the way a drug addict is hooked on drugs or a drunk is hooked on booze. Unbelievable!"
Well, not only that, but compare what Obama the Demagogue once said about the sequester.  Right Scoop also has this video from the Washington Examiner in which Obama supported the sequester that he is trying to blame on the Republicans and says will cause Armageddon if we don't stop it.

President Obama on the sequester cuts November 21, 2011
Already, some in Congress are trying to undo these automatic spending cuts. My message to them is simple: No. I will veto any effort to get rid of those automatic spending cuts to domestic and defense spending. There will be no easy off ramps on this one.
President Obama on the sequester cuts, February 19, 2013
Border Patrol agents will see their hours reduced. FBI agents will be furloughed. Federal prosecutors will have to close cases and let criminals go. Air traffic controllers and airport security will see cutbacks, which means more delays at airports across the country. Thousands of teachers and educators will be laid off. Tens of thousands of parents will have to scramble to find childcare for their kids. Hundreds of thousands of Americans will lose access to primary care and preventive care like flu vaccinations and cancer screenings.
So how did we get here?  A year and a half ago, Obama threatens to veto any attempt to kill the sequester and yesterday he's out doing what Democrats do every day, put their scary masks on and act like every day is October 31 to go scare the most gullible into believing their lies.

I'll tell you one place we should start saving money.  Let's take the airplanes away from this SOB and his moocher wife, who seem to have nothing better to do but go off and live it up on our dime, while so many Americans can't even afford to have a weekend away at a dumpy Motel 6 because they're either unemployed or underemployed.  Read this from the UK Daily Mail and get your blood boiling, because his lapdogs in the media sure as hell won't tell you this.
The trip was far from a little getaway, as he made his way to the golf course by way of Chicago on Friday and that is when the costs started piling up. ABC News reported that in 2012, it cost $179,750 per flight hour to run Air Force One. Going off that rate- even though it is likely higher now since gas prices have risen- the cost of the flights to Florida and back to Washington on Monday totaled $943,687.50.
The Daily Mail reports that some of that expense, $24,000 of it, was golf lessons from a golf pro, Butch Harmon, that cost $3,000 an hour. ALL paid for by you and I. Pissed off yet?  No word on how much it cost Moochelle to jet off to Aspen to hit the slopes.  This is a little over a month after his multi-million dollar Hawaiian vacation over Christmas and New Years.

I mean, seriously, this jerkoff does nothing but jet off to Hawaii, Martha's Vineyard or some other ritzy place, play round after round of golf and then demagogue the Republicans, conservatives, wealthy people while claiming he's on the side of the poor and working class. He never negotiates, he never gives a proposal, it's always "You guys in Congress figure it out, I'll be on the golf course, call me when you have something."  As Rush pointed out the other day, he removes himself from these proposals so he can make his straw man arguments.

And where's the "leadership" from the Republican Party?  Who is out there exposing this ass Obama for his demagoguery?  No one.  They're always on defense.  Use his words and actions against him.  Someone needs to go on offense because Obama is using any excuse he can to raise more taxes, blame local officials for his failures and collapse our economy even more.

Two Coptic Christians Murdered & Beheaded In New Jersey, Media Silent

Are the media too afraid to make possible links between the suspect and the so-called Religion of Peace (TM)? (Western Center for Journalism)
Yusuf Ibrahim, a Muslim man, targeted and murdered two Coptic Egyptian Christian men who lived and worked in New Jersey. He beheaded them and cut off their hands.

A Jersey City man was charged with murder today for allegedly shooting two other men from the city at point-blank range, cutting off their heads and hands and burying them in a shallow grave behind a home in a rural area of Atlantic County, state authorities said.
Troopers arrested Yusuf Ibrahim, 27, at an apartment in Bayonne on Sunday after investigators worked over the weekend to piece together a trail of clues that stretched from Jersey City to Buena Vista Township to Philadelphia, State Police said at a news conference at the agency’s forensic laboratory in Hamilton.
....The severed bodies were found in the shallow grave, investigators said, and their body parts were found nearby. The two men killed were foreign nationals, State Police said, and their identities were being withheld because of the difficulty notifying family members.
During the investigation, troopers learned Ibrahim had driven the Mercedes in which he shot the men to Philadelphia and attempted to set it on fire Wednesday but was interrupted by city police. Ibrahim fled in another vehicle and was chased by police, but got away, State Police said.
He was tracked over the weekend to the apartment in Bayonne.
Wilson said Ibrahim was already wanted by authorities in Jersey City in connection to an armed robbery last year. He said State Police were unsure of a motive and declined to release more specifics about how the crime unfolded, the weapons used or who tipped them off.

Coptic Christians in Egypt have come under increased persecution there since the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Notice that the national media is silent.

Will NJ Governor "Krispy Kreme" Christie look at why so many people across the country have become concerned about Sharia Law?  That blowhard ignorantly thinks the concern about "this Sharia Law business is crap."

(PARODY) Alec Baldwin's New Capital One Ad?

From SooperMexican, this hilarious spoof an Alec Baldwin's latest headlines.

I hear Alec is auditioning for a new role, since 30 Rock has been cancelled (parody as well).

#WARONWOMEN - Colorado Democrat: No Guns For Women, Even If They Feel They're Going To Be Raped

The latest in the liberal Democrats' War on the Second Amendment, a Colorado Democrat in their statehouse thinks women don't need to be armed, even if they feel they're going to be raped (Dana Loesch, RedState).
Said Salazar:
“It’s why we have call boxes, it’s why we have safe zones, it’s why we have the whistles. Because you just don’t know who you’re gonna be shooting at. And you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop … pop around at somebody.”
This is the real “war on women” I’ve talked about: the progressive insistence that women disarm. Women, according to Rep. Salazar, are hysterical things which shoot indiscriminately at any and everything.
Some statistics, My emphasis:
In the vast majority of those self-defense cases, the citizen will only brandish the gun or fire a warning shot.
In less than 8% of those self-defense cases will the citizen will even wound his attacker.
Over 1.9 million of those self-defense cases involve handguns.
As many as 500,000 of those self-defense cases occur away from home.
Almost 10% of those self-defense cases are women defending themselves against sexual assault or abuse
This “feel like you’re going to be raped” nonsense is as poorly-worded as the “shut that whole thing down” drama from last fall. If Democrats don’t swiftly condemn this, I see this used as a tactic to showcase the vast lack of respect Democrats have for a woman’s right to self defense.
I guess liberal Democrats think the only right women are entitled to is the right to an abortion, if they need one.

Will Debbie Thunderlips Wasserman-Schultz and the rest of the Democrat Activist media voice as much outrage as they did about Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock last fall?

Liberal Alec Baldwin Allegedly Calls NY Post Photographer "Coon," "Crackhead" & "Drug Dealer"

Father of the Year and notorious liberal Alec Baldwin has blown his top again. This time, he allegedly grabbed and threatened a female reporter, as well as yelled a racial slur at a photographer (TMZ, via FreeRepublic).
Alec Baldwin was involved in another confrontation with the media ... after he allegedly threatened to choke a reporter to death and hurled a racial slur at a photographer.
Both Baldwin and the photographer for the New York Post, G.N. Miller, filed harassment claims against one another following the run-in.
According to the Post, the reporter Tara Palmeri, approached Baldwin while he was walking his dogs to ask him about a recent lawsuit against his wife Hilaria. The reporter says Baldwin responded by grabbing her by the arm and saying, "I want to choke you to death."
The Post says Palmeri played an audio recording of the threat to police.
Baldwin then turned the Post's photographer -- who they say is black and a retired detective with the NYPD's Organized Crime Control Bureau -- and allegedly called him "a coon," "crackhead" and "drug dealer."
We'd heard allegations of spousal abuse by his ex-wife, Kim Basinger, but who knew Alec Baldwin yelled racial slurs as well.
Too bad he's blocked me on Twitter, I'd love having some more fun with him!

BRRRR! Less-Than-Expected Turnout For GloBULL Warming Protest At White House Due to Below Freezing Temperture

What if they held a protest against glo-BULL warming and it was a cold day?

That's what happened today in Washington DC, as leftists held a protest in front of the White House telling Obama they don't want the Keystone Pipeline.

The planned mega-rally was a bust (Globe & Mail).
A few thousand environmental activists braved chilly winds to gather on the Mall in Washington, D.C., Sunday, demanding Barack Obama say “no” to the controversial Keystone XL pipeline proposal to funnel Alberta crude across the United States to refineries on the Gulf Coast.
Despite optimistic claims made from the stage and circulated on social media that 35,000 people attended, the reality was different. Long lines of portable toilets were mostly unused, some protesters left early and a straggling column marched on the White House two hours into the rally.
From the Sierra Club's page, some photos:

The current weather in DC, 31 degrees with 18 mph winds that make it feel like it's 20 degrees.

The Heritage Foundation wrote of the Keystone Pipeline, which Obama has rejected.
Building the pipeline would bring over 700,000 barrels of oil per day and directly create 20,000 truly shovel-ready jobs. The Canadian Energy Research Institute estimates that current pipeline operations and the addition of the Keystone XL pipeline would create 179,000 American jobs by 2035.
But the tree-huggers at the Sierra Club like Obamabot Carl Pope think we're better off without cheap gas.

Did you ever notice that the biggest supporters of shutting down projects like Keystone, or any other energy projects are always the affluent? Example A: Liberal loons like Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Darryl Hannah.  Of course, higher energy prices won't affect them.

The Life Of An Emperor: Obamas On Separate Vacations This Weekend, President Gets $1,000/Hr Golf Tutoring

In case you haven't heard, while many Americans are still trying to find work, or have seen their paychecks dwindle, and our government spends more money than they take in, the President of the United States and his wife feel your pain.

They're off on separate vacations this President's day weekend...all funded by you and I, the taxpayers.
The White House confirms today that President Barack Obama will be vacationing in Florida this weekend. His wife, First Lady Michelle Obama, will be in Colorado. The two daughters will be with Michelle.
From the White House press gaggle aboard Air Force One:
Earnest confirmed that FLOTUS and her daughters are on a "ski trip out West with family and friends", and won't be with POTUS in Florida this weekend.
While the rest of his family will be skiing, Obama is expected to be hitting the links with golf pros and buddies in Florida.
Vice President Joe Biden and his family, according to the White House, will be in Colorado this weekend on vacation.
While Moochelle skis as relaxation after her strenuous Christmas vacation at a luxurious resort in Hawaii, Richard Milhous Obama is getting $1,000 an hour tutoring from a golf pro in Florida (Independent Journal Review).
During the weakest recovery in modern American history, stealth one-percenter President Obama is splurging on another vay-kay with a world class golf pro at the jaw-dropping rate of $1000/hr.
As John Nolte of related, while pointing out Golf Digest’s rate for pro golf teacher Butch Harmon is $1,000 an hour:
The President’s golfing weekend at The Floridian GC in Palm City, Fla., will include more than golf on a Tom Fazio course or an afternoon of ball beating at the Harmon School of Golf on campus. The Harmons, Butch and son Claude III, are flying in to work with President Obama[.]
So the president is once again hitting the links for a round of golf, like he did over 100 times in his first term. One of the ‘historic’ aspects of his disastrous presidency: his total number of golf rounds now stands at 112.
After posturing as a man of the people preaching about shared sacrifice and that everyone should get some “skin in the game,” the president is apparently going to be paying some serious skins while learning his golf game. Same thing, right?
President Obama has spouted repeatedly on his perpetual campaign trail, in his typically vapid air of braggadocio, that he “will not rest” until people get back to work. Since more of the potential labor force is resting instead of working than at any point in time since the early Reagan era, apparently the president thinks it’s “mission accomplished.”
The point is that President Obama has lived the life of an emperor; meanwhile lamenting he doesn’t have imperial powers. The manner in which the president dictates policy and vaykays constantly is simply obscene.
He "won't rest" until America is working again? Cue up that infamous scene from The Naked Gun (at 2:50).

It's hard to tell if he wants to be an emperor or a dictator.

USDA Workers Forced To Chant "The Pilgrims Were Illegal Aliens" At Taxpayer Funded "Cultural Sensitivity" Training

What your taxpayer dollars are paying for in the Age of Obama (CNS News).
Judicial Watch has released videos showing the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) holding required "Cultural Sensitivity Training" sessions created by diversity awareness trainer Samuel Betances - at a cost to taxpayers of $200,000.
Judicial Watch reports:
"The sensitivity training sessions, described as 'a huge expense' by diversity awareness trainer and self-described 'citizen of the world' Samuel Betances, were held on USDA premises. The diversity event is apparently part of what USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack described in a memo sent to all agency employees as a 'new era of Civil Rights' and 'a broader effort towards cultural transformation at USDA.'

"In 2011 and 2012, the USDA paid Betances and his firm nearly $200,000 for their part in the "cultural transformation' program."

Within the videos, Betances has the audience repeat after him in a brainwashing fashion. Among the chants repeated are:
  • "Thank you, black folks,"
  • "The pilgrims were illegal aliens" and
  • "The pilgrims never gave their passport to the Indians."
In another clip, Betances states he doesn't like the word "minorities" and prefers "emerging majorities."

The obvious question is: why is the USDA holding "Cultural Sensitivity Training" sessions on "cultural transformation?"
Of course, "cultural sensitivity" sessions are more exercises in political correctness and implanting "white guilt."

While Benghazi Consulate Was Under Attack, Obama Never Made Any Phone Calls To Help

The Washington Times reported yesterday that, not only was Richard Milhous Obama absent after being briefed by Leon Panetta on the attack on our consulate in Benghazi, he never bothered to pick up the phone the rest of the evening.
“During the entire attack, the president of the United States never picked up the phone to put the weight of his office in the mix,” said Sen. Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican, who had held up Mr. Obama’s defense secretary nominee to force the information to be released.
Mr. Graham said that if Mr. Obama had picked up the phone, at least two of the Americans killed in the attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi might still be alive because he might have been able to push U.S. aid to get to the scene faster.
The White House has said Mr. Obama was kept up to date on the attack by his staff, though after being alerted to the attack in a pre-scheduled afternoon meeting he never spoke again with Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Martin E. Dempsey or then-Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Mr. Panetta told Congress last week that he knew immediately the attacks were a terrorist assault, though the White House downplayed that notion in the first five days after the attack.
Republican senators said they will still push for more information on who changed the talking points given to U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, who went on the Sunday talk shows after the attacks and blamed protests against an anti-Islam video.
Mr. Graham said he will block the president’s nominee to head the CIA until he hears more details about what Mr. Obama was doing.
Sen. John McCain said the White House’s reticence in releasing information contrasts poorly with the flood of details the White House put out about the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, which has spawned two movies.
So we know now that Obama knew what was going on and essentially did nothing at all while our consulate and citizens were under attack.

Why not?

Was getting his beauty rest the night before a campaign fundraiser in Las Vegas more important than saving the lives of our countrymen?

This is dereliction of duty, there's no other way to put it.

Mark Levin On Hannity Analyzes Obama's "Castro-Like" SOTU Speech: "Lie After Lie"

No analysis of Obama's lies is complete without "The Great One" Mark Levin showing how Obama's rhetoric is so full of holes and lies.

He came out of his "bunker" last night on Sean Hannity's radio show for two segments:

It's not just Obama's socialist policies that get exposed by Levin. On his radio show last night, Levin and Donald Trump tore into that fat, backstabbing, RINO eunuch, Karl Rove (

Trump and Levin hit Rove where it really hurts. First Trump criticized Rove's effectiveness as a campaign strategist by slamming his SuperPAC, American Crossroads' performance in the 2012 election: "Four hundred million dollars was wasted. They do the worst ads I have ever seen, ever."
Levin followed up with what might be the most significant line of attack against Rove: "I would say to the wealthy donors out there, 'Why do you keep donating to him?' why don't you donate to all these groups who are actually grassroots, who are actually fighting and who are actually effective?"
The combination of the influential voice of Mark Levin challenging donors to shut-down the flow of cash to the Rove machine, coupled with Trump (one of those high-profile donors) repeating FIVE TIMES the fact that Rove spent "four hundred million dollars" with no results to show for it could have a brutally devastating effect on the former Bush strategist's balance sheet.
Trump then positioned himself as the defender of the tea party movement: "If the Republicans are going to win, they're going to have to break away from the Karl Rove's of the world and, frankly, get more about you know the tea party... they are great Americans, they love this country, they work so hard, and they have been so mistreated by the liberal press, the liberal media. They have been just so mistreated and made to look so bad."

If Obama Can't Keep Promises To Survivors Of Ft. Hood Jihad, What Makes You Think He'll Keep The Ones Made Last Night?

In case you're wondering, no, I did not watch the State of Disunion address last night. I did follow as fast as I could keep up on Twitter, and it was what I expected. I don't like listening to a slick, smooth talker and his media acolytes who will convince you there's a rainstorm when they're really peeing on your shoe.

And, as usual, it was what we've come to expect from Obama....demonizing various "straw men" and making promise after promise.  You know, more spending won't add an extra dime to the deficit, etc.

He talked about victims of gun violence, saying they "deserved a vote." But he did not mention hero Chris Kyle, the four Americans killed on 9/11/12 in Benghazi, or slain Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry (killed as a result of the Obama/Holder "Fast and Furious" gunrunning program).

But how can any thinking person take Obama seriously when he broke promises to the victims of the Ft. Hood jihadist? One of the wounded was a guest of Moochelle Obama at the 2010 SOTU address and now says Obama betrayed her (ABC).

Three years after the White House arranged a hero's welcome at the State of the Union address for the Fort Hood police sergeant and her partner who stopped the deadly shooting there, Kimberly Munley says President Obama broke the promise he made to her that the victims would be well taken care of.
"Betrayed is a good word," former Sgt. Munley told ABC News in a tearful interview to be broadcast tonight on "World News with Diane Sawyer" and "Nightline."
"Not to the least little bit have the victims been taken care of," she said. "In fact they've been neglected."
...Munley, since laid off from her job with the base's civilian police force, was shot three times as she and her partner, Sgt. Mark Todd, confronted Hasan, who witnesses said had shouted "Allahu Akbar" as he opened fire on soldiers being processed for deployment to Afghanistan.
As Munley lay wounded, Todd fired the five bullets credited with bringing Hasan down.
Despite extensive evidence that Hasan was in communication with al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki prior to the attack, the military has denied the victims a Purple Heart and is treating the incident as "workplace violence" instead of "combat related" or terrorism.

Al-Awlaki has since been killed in a U.S. drone attack in Yemen, in what was termed a major victory in the U.S. efforts against al Qaeda.

Munley and dozens of other victims have now filed a lawsuit against the military alleging the "workplace violence" designation means the Fort Hood victims are receiving lower priority access to medical care as veterans, and a loss of financial benefits available to those who injuries are classified as "combat related."
You could tell how much concern Obama had for these victims the very night this happened.  He was too busy giving "shout outs" to people at a conference for about two minutes before addressing the attack by the jihadist.  The way these survivors have been treated, along with the denial of this Regime to the fact this was terrorism should anger any true American.

So, what makes any of you libs think Obama will keep a promise if he cannot keep one to our heroes who risked their own lives bringing down this jihadist?

Marco Rubio and Rand Paul Rebut Obama's SOTU

Two voices of sanity from the US Senate rebut Richard Milhous Obama's BS last night.

Democrat Socialist Jan Schakowsky Says Dr. Ben Carson's Speech "Not Approrpriate," Had No Problem With Bush-Bashing At Mrs. King's Funeral

Can you say "hypocrite"?

Democrat Socialist from Chicago Jan Schakowsky attacked Dr. Ben Carson's speech in front of Richard Milhous Obama at the National Prayer Breakfast as "not appropriate." (

Schakowsky accused Carson of using political correctness, rather than fighting it: “Well, I think that there’s a political correctness that he was trying to use to appeal to a conservative audience,” she said, shaking her head. She went on to criticize Carson for making a “political speech” in front of Obama and in a specifically religious context.
I think it’s really--not really an appropriate place to make this kind of political speech, and to invoke God as support for that kind of view. But I think of most of all the kind of message that he was giving shows a real empathy gap with where the American people are right now, and I think it’s reflective of where many of the Republicans and Tea Parties are right now, that we need to have an economy that works for everyone.
In his address, Carson had specifically avoided taking a partisan point of view, noting that the American bald eagle needed both a “right wing” and a “left wing” to take flight.
Carson's speech did not specifically criticize Obama. But the problem to the socialist Schakowsky is that Carson, by talking in broad terms against socialized medicine, high taxes, the debt and attacking political correctness, also attacked the "religion" of liberalism and their false Messiah, Obama.

But Schakowsky has no problem in using a funeral as a podium to bash a sitting President when they are one of the speakers on the platform, as happened in 2006 when the funeral of Coretta Scott-King turned into a Bush-bashing event as the President sat on the stage.

Schakowsky even wrote the following at the Huffington ComPost.
What a shock! Some speakers at the funeral of Coretta Scott King had the audacity and poor manners to bring up WAR (as in worshiping the Prince of Peace and the uncomfortable fact that there were no weapons of mass destruction), RACE (as in the faces of Katrina victims), and DOMESTIC SPYING (referring, of course, to the surveillance of Dr. King, but, so sorry if the shoe fits...), and the unfinished business of ECONOMIC INEQUALITY.

How weird would it have been NOT to talk "politics" at the death of the woman called the "Mother of the Civil Rights Movement?" President Bush himself, in his letter in the program book, called her a "courageous woman who called America to its founding ideals and carried on a noble dream. She was a great civil rights leader, and her contributions to freedom and equality made America a better and more compassionate nation." He forgot to mention that anyone who chose to elaborate on just what that "noble dream" and "founding ideals" were could find themselves the object of the Republican slime machine.
The venerable Rev. Dr. Joseph Lowery, President Emeritus of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, a long time soldier in the civil rights movement and colleague of Dr. King, did what the movement has always done - speak truth to power, and was rewarded with several standing ovations. His poetic tribute to Mrs. King spoke of "weapons of misdirection...millions without health insurance, poverty abounds. For war billions more, but no more for the poor." Tsk, tsk, tsk. Too "political."
...I was at that funeral. I was proud to stand up and cheer for Coretta Scott King's leadership and sacrifice and I was proud to stand and cheer for the reminders of how much work remains. I know she wanted all of us to honor her memory by working for peace and justice and all those other "political" things that gave meaning to her life and can give meaning to ours.
Like using the usual Democrat-socialist fearmongering techniques of accusing the GOP of "taking food out of the mouths of babies?"

Not only are you a hypocrite, Ms Schakowsky, your uncivil tone is the one that is "not appropriate."

Bullies At CAIR Try To Shut Down Feb 20 N. VA GOP Women's Group Talk On Sharia & Hijab

Fairfax County (Virginia) School Superintendent Jack Dale deserves a round of applause for refusing to cave in to the bullying demands of the Hamas-linked Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

The superintendent came under fire for renting space at Fairview Elementary School in the Clifton, VA area to the Republican Women of Clifton, who will have a speaker at their meeting next week discussing Sharia law and the hijab.

The Washington ComPost posted a very biased article on Feb. 8 that reads more like a CAIR press release instead of a straight news article in a national newspaper.
The notice in the Fairfax Station Patch on Tuesday was brief, but to Laurie Jaghlit it felt like a punch in the gut.
At the next meeting of Republican Women of Clifton, a guest speaker would discuss “the treatment of women in Islamic society and how she believes the Hijab is a catalyst for Islamic terrorism.” The Feb. 20 meeting would take place at Fairview Elementary School, five miles from Jaghlit’s house.
Jaghlit, a 52-year-old grandmother who raised nine children in Fairfax Station and Herndon, wears the hijab, or Islamic head covering. She had heard about talks like this in other parts of the country but had never confronted the issue so close to home.
“If that’s not hateful and inciteful speech, I don’t know what is,” she said. “This is a diverse area. You’d think that hopefully we’d be beyond this."
The ComPost followed up with CAIR spokesmouth Ibrihim Hooper throwing out the usual Islamphobia and bigotry card that is used to bully anyone who dares question radical Islamists and Sharia law. As a typical example of CAIR/Hooper's bullying, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Worcester MA cancelled a talk by Robert Spencer, director of JihadWatch.  It is only near the end of the article that Jaghlit, mentioned in the lede of the ComPost piece, "works part-time for CAIR" and "she and half a dozen other Muslim women who wear the hijab plan to attend the meeting to 'have our non-terrorist voices heard.'"

The only response the ComPost allowed for the GOP Women's club was an e-mail response from Club President Alice Butler-Short, of which they took only a very brief excerpt.

Of course, no where does the ComPost note how the FBI has linked CAIR to Hamas as well as elements of the Muslim Brotherhood, noted in 2007 by Counterterrorism Blog.  CAIR's co-founders Omar Ahmed and Nihad Awad were placed at a 1993 meeting in Philadelphia where Hamas members and supporters strategized ways to kill the Oslo Accords. Hooper has been quoted as saying in 1993, “I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future...But I'm not going to do anything violent to promote that. I'm going to do it through education.”

James Lafferty, who leads the Virginia Anti-Sharia Task Force, is asking that interested citizens come attend the event next Wednesday night, as a way to counter possible interruption from the CAIR activists. It is important to note that CAIR has had a history showing up in large numbers in an effort to intimidate, as they did with the Fairfax County Planning Commission in 2009.
