Taxes Go Up On More Than The So-Called "Rich" While Obama Bodysurfs, Gives Congress Pay Raise

Or as Robin Trower would say, "The takers get the honey, givers sing the blues."

As you know, the New Year started with the John Boehner/Mitch McConnell surrender to Richard Milhous Obama on raising taxes on the so-called "rich", decided for now to be $400,000 and above, because as Obama has said, everyone needs to pay their fair share.
Earners in the latter group will pay an average 1.3 percent more - or an additional $2,711 - in taxes this year, while workers making between $30,000 and $200,000 will see their paychecks shrink by as much as 1.7 percent - or up to $1,784 - the D.C.-based think tank reported.

Overall, nearly 80 percent of households will pay more money to the federal government as a result of the fiscal cliff deal
So how do you libs like that? Some libs and many employers were freaking out when they got/handed out the first paychecks of the year. Why? The payroll tax holiday of the last two years ended.

In just one year, did the White House forget this: #40Dollars?

I know, it was a good election year ploy by the Community Organizer-in-Chief to buy votes and claim he's cut taxes, then drop the shoe after re-election.  Just like all the Obamacare stuff was jerry-rigged to happen after 2012.

While our checks get smaller and our debt grows, Obama also increased by executive fiat the pay of Joe Bite Me, Congress and Federal Employees. But thank God that the House did something right for once by blocking the pay hike.

But some libs, like Congressman "Jihad" Gerry Connolly of Northern Virginia objected.
Holding the pay vote before the fiscal cliff bill is voted on, “is one of the most cynical things I’ve seen,” said Rep. Gerald E. Connolly (D-Va.), whose district is home to hundreds of thousands of federal employees. “It’s being held purely to provide protection for House Republicans who want to vote against the fiscal cliff deal.”
"Jihad" Gerry was upset his pay increase wasn't going to happen and lashed out at the GOP, yet he champions himself as being for the working-class families whose taxes he wants raised.

Meanwhile, Obama spent more of the taxpayer dime headed back to Hawaii, so he could live it up while those of us who pick up the tab are starting to take home less pay.
