Buzzard-in-Chief Obama Uses Sandy Hill Memorial For Political Purposes, Adding "Dog Whistle" Language For Gun Control In Speech

Shame on you, Richard Milhous Obama!

This was supposed to be a prayer vigil, a memorial service for the twenty children and the adults who died to save their students.

Instead, as only Obama can do, he makes it about ME ME ME ME, while in the process, using "code language" or should I say "Dog Whistle" language to let people know he is going to swoop down like a buzzard and use this tragedy for the sake of taking away some of our Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

From the Washington ComPost:
We can’t tolerate this anymore. These tragedies must end. And to end them, we must change.

We will be told that the causes of such violence are complex, and that is true. No single law, no set of laws can eliminate evil from the world or prevent every senseless act of violence in our society, but that can’t be an excuse for inaction. Surely we can do better than this.

If there’s even one step we can take to save another child or another parent or another town from the grief that’s visited Tucson and Aurora and Oak Creek and Newtown and communities from Columbine to Blacksburg before that, then surely we have an obligation to try.

In the coming weeks, I’ll use whatever power this office holds to engage my fellow citizens, from law enforcement, to mental health professionals, to parents and educators, in an effort aimed at preventing more tragedies like this, because what choice do we have? We can’t accept events like this as routine.

Are we really prepared to say that we’re powerless in the face of such carnage, that the politics are too hard?

Are we prepared to say that such violence visited on our children year after year after year is somehow the price of our freedom?

This should have been an event devoid of politics, but liberals who are intent on taking over more and more of our lives have no conscience to use these tragedies as excuses to attack law abiding citizens and claim something else...not the person who committed this act of evil....was responsible.

Already, leaders from the NRA are receiving death threats via Twitter. Why? For the crime in Obama's AmeriKa of speaking out in defense of the freedom to keep and bear arms, a freedom that the founders knew was important for a free society. Where is the civility from your liberal hoards, Mister Obama? Yet you say nothing to condemn that, while you hold your nose even more arrogantly in the air, so cocky after November 6th.

But the whole issue of guns is a red-herring, because liberals are so willing to, as Obama's former chief-of-staff said, "never let a crisis go to waste" in order to take guns away from law abiding citizens. There's a lot more that's involved.

John Fund at National Review Online writes:
Almost all of the public-policy discussion about Newtown has focused on a debate over the need for more gun control. In reality, gun control in a country that already has 200 million privately owned firearms is likely to do little to keep weapons out of the hands of criminals. We would be better off debating two taboo subjects — the laws that make it difficult to control people with mental illness and the growing body of evidence that “gun-free” zones, which ban the carrying of firearms by law-abiding individuals, don’t work.
First, the mental-health issue. A lengthy study by Mother Jones magazine found that at least 38 of the 61 mass shooters in the past three decades “displayed signs of mental health problems prior to the killings.” New York Times columnist David Brooks and Cornell Law School professor William Jacobson have both suggested that the ACLU-inspired laws that make it so difficult to intervene and identify potentially dangerous people should be loosened. “Will we address mental-health and educational-privacy laws, which instill fear of legal liability for reporting potentially violent mentally ill people to law enforcement?” asks Professor Jacobson. “I doubt it.”
Gun-free zones have been the most popular response to previous mass killings. But many law-enforcement officials say they are actually counterproductive. “Guns are already banned in schools. That is why the shootings happen in schools. A school is a ‘helpless-victim zone,’” says Richard Mack, a former Arizona sheriff. “Preventing any adult at a school from having access to a firearm eliminates any chance the killer can be stopped in time to prevent a rampage,” Jim Kouri, the public-information officer of the National Association of Chiefs of Police, told me earlier this year at the time of the Aurora, Colo., Batman-movie shooting. Indeed, there have been many instances — from the high-school shooting by Luke Woodham in Mississippi, to the New Life Church shooting in Colorado Springs, Colo. — where a killer has been stopped after someone got a gun from a parked car or elsewhere and confronted the shooter.
Economists John Lott and William Landes conducted a groundbreaking study in 1999, and found that a common theme of mass shootings is that they occur in places where guns are banned and killers know everyone will be unarmed, such as shopping malls and schools.
Did you see that line?  But don't tell that to all these anti-gun liberals, because facts are inconvenient things to them.

President Obama, you're despicable!

As one who does not believe in coincidence, at least where politics is concerned, I find the "convenient" timing of this shooting relative to Obama's anti-gun campaign suspicious. Yes, you will no doubt say "that's paranoid", but consider how often these "convenient" tragedies have happened in the past-just prior to the enactment of some new anti-gun legislation. Obama was stepping up to the podium at this funeral to lay the psychological groundwork for the implementation of the disarmament of the citizenry. Unfortunately, too many Americans are gullible enough to believe that their government would never intentionally do them harm, and these same people will welcome their disarmament and resultant helplessness with open arms.
