(VIDEO) David Axelrod In 1994 Attacks Former Pres. Bush For Golfing During Recession

Eighteen years ago, former President George H.W. Bush was attacked by liberals as an out of touch elitist who rode around on his cigar boat and played golf while a recession raged on.

Who did the attacking? None other than the greaseball who became Richard Milhous Obama's advisor - David Axelrod.

Here's the video (h/t FreeRepublic).

"The other thing was that Bush tastelessly did it often from the ninth hole and from the cigar boat and from other places. The impression you got was that he was out of touch with the experiences of average people."

Really? It reminds me of someone else, David, who plays golf and vacations while an even great recession has ravaged the nation during his Presidency.

The irony is too much!
