"Anti-Islam" Filmmaker Questioned By Authorities--So Much For Our First Amendment

Essentially, this is the first step on the path toward replacing the US Constitution with Shariah Law in America (Associated with Obama Press).

A Southern California filmmaker linked to an anti-Islamic movie inflaming protests across the Middle East was interviewed by federal probation officers at a Los Angeles sheriff's station but was not arrested or detained, authorities said early Saturday.

Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, 55, was interviewed at the station in his hometown of Cerritos, Calif., Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Don Walker said.

Federal officials are investigating whether Nakoula, who has been convicted of financial crimes, has violated the terms of his five-year probation. If so, a judge could send him back to prison.

Nakoula went voluntarily to the station early Saturday morning, wearing a coat, hat, scarf and glasses that concealed his appearance. It is unclear whether he returned to his home, which has been besieged by media for several days.

Sister Toldjah wrote the following, and she's right.  All Americans should be disturbed by this:

Look, we all know what’s going on here but it’s being done under the pretense of the “filmmaker” being “suspected of violating his probation.” Do not be fooled. This ‘film” was released months ago but he is only now being taken in for questioning why exactly? Because radical Islam is literally setting the world on fire, and the feds want to put on a dog and pony show to indicate to the Muslim world that they are “doing something” about this filmmaker who so offended the sensitivities of fundamentalist thugs who hate Western values.

Let me also say this: Nakoula doesn’t sound like a paragon of virtue, but he was expressing his First Amendment rights to an opinion some people don’t agree with. Does he deserve the treatment he is receiving by the press, other critics, the feds, and the Obama administration?

If you’re not gasping in shock and outrage over this, you should be.

What else should send your temperature rising today? Read the article I linked above. We now know more, courtesy of the MSM, about the history of this “filmmaker” than we do the history of our own President. This is insane, and it’s not just the feds who should be called to account over the “questioning” of a man for engaging in his right to free speech, not just the politicos and administration officials who are blaming this man for Islamofascist rage in the Middle East (and who have shut down questioning by the press on the Benghazi murders), but also the mainstream media who give more of a d*mn about an obscure filmmaker’s life story than they did about the Democrat nominee for President Barack Obama in 2008.

So, using the logic of Richard Milhous Obama, Hillary Rotten Clinton, and Jay Carney, a bunch of Third Century Savages in the Middle East aren't responsible for the deaths of four Americans and the attacks on our embassies. No, it's some filmmaker. By that standard, filmmaker Marin Scorsese should have been arrested for making John Hinckley shoot President Ronald Reagan in 1981 after Hinckley watched Scorsese's movie "Taxi Driver." Or, maybe Ozzy Osbourne & Judas Priest were responsible for the deaths of a few teenagers in the 1980s from suicide, because "the music made them do it."

Is this the path we're headed down now? Are we becoming so politically corrected that one religion cannot be questioned or criticized, because liberals fear the wrath of al-Queda and Islamic Rage Boy (Michelle Malkin)?

You can disagree with what this guy put in the movie all you want. But to hold him responsible for the actions of savages across the globe who believe in killing infidels is surrendering our freedom while putting us on the road to Shariah.

What next will be objectionable? Criticizing or mocking Chicago Jesus?

Folks, we're less than two months away from the most important election in our lifetime. We're seeing another example of this Regime's failure to act and willingness to surrender liberty for temporary protection. This is our last warning to get us off the path Obama has put us on.

I repeat, this is our last warning.
