Corrupt Eric Holder Bullies Daily Caller, ATF Whistleblowers

It's bad enough that the Obama Regime has sealed the court records into Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry's killing with guns from Operation Fast & Furious.

Today, the temperature went up a few more degrees.

Eric Holder, the Regime's corrupt attorney general, lashed out today at The Daily Caller, who asked him about the growing number of congressmen who are calling for his resignation.

As Holder’s aide was escorting the attorney general offstage following his remarks Tuesday afternoon at the White House, a Daily Caller reporter introduced himself and shook Holder’s hand. The reporter asked him for a response to the growing chorus of federal legislators demanding his resignation.

Holder stepped towards the exit, then turned around, stepped back toward the reporter, and sternly said, “You guys need to — you need to stop this. It’s not an organic thing that’s just happening. You guys are behind it.”

Holder then walked offstage without answering TheDC’s request for comment about calls for his resignation.

Not only that, ATF whistleblower have said they have been retaliated against by Holder's Department of InJustice, for calling attention to Fast & Furious (Nice Deb).

ATF whistleblowers told Fox News, this morning, that since testifying on Capitol Hill, it’s been all downhill for them. Meanwhile, the executives who oversaw Fast and Furious were either promoted or transferred. Only one person, US Atty in AZ, Dennis Burke has resigned:

Anthony Martin reported on more chicanery that’s been uncovered in ATF retaliation against whistleblowers earlier this month:

In a letter to Attorney-General Eric Holder yesterday, Congressman Darrell Issa and Senator Charles Grassley asked for information on media leaks that were aimed at discrediting the testimony of a key ATF whistleblower–Agent John Dodson. The leak violates the Privacy Act which protects the personal information employers gather on employees, and points to more chicanery on the part of ATF management in retaliating against agents who went public with the agency’s illegal activity.

According to the letter, an employee of the DOJ was forced to resign due to the leak. Issa and Grassley are requesting information on that employee and if other employees had access to a shared computer drive that may have led to the leaked information.

In addition, Dodson allegedly has already been the recipient of retaliatory action earlier this year. Back in July St. Louis Gun Rights Examiner Kurt Hofmann provided evidence that Dodson was the victim of a smear campaign by his superiors.

And then there is this report submitted by this writer on October 25 indicating a widespread, orchestrated program of retaliation against whistleblowers implemented by ATF supervisors. One agent’s family was placed in lethal danger when his house was set on fire in the middle of the night while his wife and children slept inside. Supervisors had good reason to believe that Hell’s Angels had set the fire in response to the agent’s undercover work that resulted in several arrests. But ATF management never investigated the fire, nor did they do anything about numerous threats the agent received from Hell’s Angels.

The latest revelation concerning the continued attempt to smear agent Dodson by releasing private information protected by the Privacy Act only highlights the fact that retaliatory behavior on the part of ATF management is continuing despite warnings from Issa and Grassley that it be stopped

And where all those libs who claimed the Bush Justice Department and then Attorney General Alberto Gonzales had become political and, as then Senator Obama said in 2007, needed to resign because of "lack of oversight."

Here is a situation where an American law enforcement agent was killed by guns the DOIJ put in their hands, and where is the oversight, Mister Obama? Eric Holder has turned the InJustice Department into a government agency that covers for the corruption of the Obama Regime and then bullies whistleblowers and states like Arizona, Alabama, South Carolina over enforcement of immigration laws.

Resignation isn't enough for Holder, the terrorist defending, New Black Panther loving corruptocrat belongs in prison.

Romney Grilled By Bret Baier On Flip-Flopping; Gets Irritated

Flip Romney sat down with Bret Baier on Fox News yesterday and showed why he's all fluff. When asked real questions, Romney acts Obamaesque and cops an attitude (Fox Nation).

(RealClearPolitics)Mitt Romney became visibly irritated with "Special Report" host Bret Baier when he confronted the presidential hopeful about his numerous nuanced positions compared to his past positions.

"Well, Bret, your list is just not accurate," Romney said, when asked by Baier about changing his stances on climate change, abortion, gay rights and immigration.

"So, one, we're going to have to be better informed about my views on issues," Mitt Romney sarcastically said to Baier.

"My view is, you can look at what's written in my book. You can look at a person who has devoted his life to his family, to his faith, to his country," he said.

When Romney gets away from his slick, pre-rehearsed answers, he looks bad. Which is why the Democrats want him to be the nominee. That and he still defends his socialized medicine scheme in Massachusetts. Obama wants to run against that so he can take that issue off the table.

Mitt's all hair.

Obama To Hold NY Fundraiser Near Lighting Of Rockefeller Center Chirstmas Tree Lighting; Seals Court Records In Border Patrol Agent's Murder

Here's two whoppers to start your day, found over at Gateway Pundit.

First, the Fundraiser-in-Chief Obama is headed to New York again tonight for another fundraiser, near and around the same time as the lighting of the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center.

Donald Trump spoke out about it, and says "Stop with the fundraisers and start running the country because you are doing one hell of a lousy job."

For the more serious matter, we've discussed here the murder of US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, who was killed by illegal alien drug smugglers with weapons obtained via the Obama Regime's "Fast & Furious" gunrunning operation.

Well, guess what? The Regime, which promised to be the "most transparent" has sealed the court records (Judicial Watch).

The Obama Administration has abruptly sealed court records containing alarming details of how Mexican drug smugglers murdered a U.S. Border patrol agent with a gun connected to a failed federal experiment that allowed firearms to be smuggled into Mexico.

This means information will now be kept from the public as well as the media. Could this be a cover-up on the part of the “most transparent” administration in history? After all, the rifle used to kill the federal agent (Brian Terry) last December in Arizona’s Peck Canyon was part of the now infamous Operation Fast and Furious. Conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the disastrous scheme allowed guns to be smuggled into Mexico so they could eventually be traced to drug cartels.

Instead, federal law enforcement officers lost track of more than 1,000 guns which have been used in numerous crimes. In Terry’s case, five illegal immigrants armed with at least two semi-automatic assault rifles were hunting for U.S. Border Patrol agents near a desert watering hole just north of the Arizona-Mexico border when a firefight erupted and Terry got hit.

We know this only because Washington D.C.’s conservative newspaper got ahold of the court documents before the government suddenly made them off limits. The now-sealed federal grand jury indictment tells the frightening story of how Terry was gunned down by Mexican drug smugglers patrolling the rugged desert with the intent to “intentionally and forcibly assault” Border Patrol agents.

You can see why the administration wants to keep this information from the public and the media, considering the smugglers were essentially armed by the U.S. government. Truth is, no one will know the reason for the confiscation of public court records in this case because the judge’s decision to seal it was also sealed, according to the news story. That means the public or media won’t have access to any new or old evidence, filings, rulings or arguments.

What the Washington Times revealed in their story, and what Obama & Holder don't want you to know:

A now-sealed federal grand jury indictment in the death of Border Patrol agent Brian A. Terry says the Mexican nationals were “patrolling” the rugged desert area of Peck Canyon at about 11:15 p.m. on Dec. 14 with the intent to “intentionally and forcibly assault” Border Patrol agents.

At least two of the Mexicans carried their assault rifles “at the ready position,” one of several details about the attack showing that Mexican smugglers are becoming more aggressive on the U.S. side of the border.

According to the indictment, the Mexicans were “patrolling the area in single-file formation” a dozen miles northwest of the border town of Nogales and — in the darkness of the Arizona night — opened fire on four Border Patrol agents after the agents identified themselves in Spanish as police officers.

Two AK-47 assault rifles found at the scene came from the failed Fast and Furious operation.

Using thermal binoculars, one of the agents determined that at least two of the Mexicans were carrying rifles, but according to an affidavit in the case by FBI agent Scott Hunter, when the Mexicans did not drop their weapons as ordered, two agents used their shotguns to fire “less than lethal” beanbags at them.

At least one of the Mexicans opened fire and, according to the affidavit, Terry, a 40-year-old former U.S. Marine, was shot in the back. A Border Patrol shooting-incident report said that Terry called out, “I’m hit,” and then fell to the ground, a bullet having pierced his aorta. “I can’t feel my legs,” Terry told one of the agents who cradled him. “I think I’m paralyzed.”

Bleeding profusely, he died at the scene.

If you needed any indication Obama knows more about Fast & Furious than he's led on, this is it. He and Holder should not only be impeached, but should share a jail cell together.

It's Official! Obama Now Worse Than Carter, Approval Rating Lower Than The Peanut Farmer

From US News, via JWF.

President Obama’s slow ride down Gallup’s daily presidential job approval index has finally passed below Jimmy Carter, earning Obama the worst job approval rating of any president at this stage of his term in modern political history.

Since March, Obama’s job approval rating has hovered above Carter’s, considered among the 20th century’s worst presidents, but today Obama’s punctured Carter’s dismal job approval line. On their comparison chart, Gallup put Obama’s job approval rating at 43 percent compared to Carter’s 51 percent.

Back in 1979, Carter was far below Obama until the Iran hostage crisis, eerily being duplicated in Tehran today with Iranian protesters storming the British embassy. The early days of the crisis helped Carter’s ratings, though his failure to win the release of captured Americans, coupled with a bad economy, led to his defeat by Ronald Reagan in 1980.

The only things on Obama's side right now is he doesn't have a primary contender (the lifeguard of Chappaquiddick, Ted Kennedy challenged Carter in 1980), and there is no Reagan-esque GOP candidate to challenge Obama in the fall.

Other than that, I'd agree (rarely) with Karl Rove and say Obama is worse than even James Buchanan (exceedingly worse than Carter), which would make Obama the worst President in American history.

The Racist Rev. Wright & Bill Ayers Are Still Legitimate Issues Against Obama

Not to long ago, over at Legal Insurrection, Prof. Jacobson brought up the race card being used against a Mitt Romney ad by Tad Devine, Democrat operative.

Democratic strategist Tad Devine, an adviser to the Al Gore and John Kerry presidential campaigns, accused Mitt Romney’s campaign of invoking the controversial Rev. Jeremiah Wright in a recent ad.

Devine said Wednesday that he was “shocked” to see what he believed was imagery of an African-American church in an ad released Tuesday by Romney’s campaign team and airing in New Hampshire. The ad, Romney’s first of the campaign, is “clearly an attempt to bring back Rev. Wright and race,” Devine tweeted.

No wonder Devine is scared, because LI also links to a video from 2006 found by the Daily Caller of Obama crediting the Racist Reverend Wright's sermon "The Audacity of Hope" as the title of his book.

Why is this important? Because this sermon is what Obama said "inspired him" to join Wright's "church," though he claims he wasn't around when Wright preached his most vitriolic sermons (video below).

(Obama quotes Wright) "It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks’ greed runs a world in need, apartheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere…That’s the world! On which hope sits!"

So is it any wonder that Obama and the Democrat Party's new electoral strategy is to tell white working class Americans to go to hell? I mean, this is a guy who came to the national stage in 2004, who said in part...

there is not a liberal America and a conservative America -- there is the United States of America. There is not a Black America and a White America and Latino America and Asian America -- there’s the United States of America. ...We are one people, all of us pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes, all of us defending the United States of America.

...and yet this same "uniter" has talked about "punishing our enemies" and sought to divide America by race, gender, class, and union vs. non-union.

Unrepentant domestic terrorist Bill Ayers also fits into this equation. We were told he was "just another guy in the neighborhood," while Obama's political career was started in this terrorist's living room.

Here's Ayers talking about that fundraiser (Gateway Pundit).

And Ayers is even giving his support to the OccupyWallStreet squatters.

Don't think for a minute Ayers didn't know Obama's pastor either.

Ask yourself, would (let's say) Michele Bachmann or Rick Perry be still running for President if the church they belonged to talked about being "unashamedly white and unapologetically Christian," or had a fundraiser in the home of an unrepentant abortion clinic bomber?

So why should this still be an issue for Obama? Because it strikes to his deception, as to how he tried to hide his radical roots, which have come to fruition during his term.

As the old saying goes, "fool me (or us) once, shame on you..."

The "Palin Reconsider" Ad Slated To Run In Iowa

Per The Other McCain. I've been reading about this ad and the ad buy in Iowa on Conservatives for Palin.

Adrienne Ross at C4P has a slightly different take, for some food for thought.

Certainly, her decision not to run was a disappointment, as the nation is in a leadership deficit right now, with too many people in power (in the local, state and national levels) who are more interested in being served instead of being public servants. My personal opinion has always (and still is) that Palin is someone would fill this void, and would be able to carry the Reagan Torch into the next generation. At this point, for 2012, the filing deadline has passed for many states. The only hope for a Palin 2012 run would be if there was no consensus on a nominee and a Draft Palin movement occurs at the Republican Convention.

Another Woman With Questionable Past...This Time, She Claims a 13-Year Affair With Herman Cain

Herman Cain spoke earlier this evening to let the public know of another sexual allegation against him that was going to be made this evening (CBS News).

The former Godfather's Pizza CEO told CNN's Wolf Blitzer he wanted to "give you a heads up and everyone a heads up" that the woman would be coming forward.

He said he knows the woman, but denied having had an affair with her.

"I did not have an affair," he said. "I have done nothing wrong."

According to an Atlanta affiliate of Fox News, the woman, who has been identified as Ginger White, is claiming she and Cain were romantically involved for 13 years.

"It was pretty simple," White told the Fox affiliate, which aired its report at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time. "It wasn't complicated. I was aware that he was married. And I was also aware I was involved in a very inappropriate situation, relationship."

Cain described the woman as an "acquaintance who I thought was a friend" and said his campaign was going to handle the charges "detail by detail, accusation by accusation."

When asked explicitly if he had either sex or an affair with the woman, Cain said "no."

He declined to respond more specifically without more detailed knowledge of what the woman was alleging.

"This individual's going to accuse me of an affair for an extended period of time. I don't want to specify because I don't know what's in the story," Cain said. "Through my attorney, we will respond to every detail and every allegation."

Just as the client of ambulance chasing media whore Gloria Allred, this new woman has a sordid past (Kerry Picket - Washington Times).

According to Fox 5 Atlanta:

“Before our interview, we checked into Ginger White's background. We found she filed a sexual harassment claim against an employer in 2001. That case was settled.

We also found a bankruptcy filing nearly 23 years ago in Kentucky, and a number of eviction notices here in DeKalb County over the past six years. The most recent happened this month.

Ms. White says she has been unemployed, and she is a single mom with two kids struggling to make ends meet.

“I don't think that makes me out to be a bad person,” White said. “It makes me out to be one of the millions of people right now trying to keep a roof over their head.”

We also found a lawsuit filed by a former business partner, Kimberly Vay, who once sought a "stalking temporary protective order" against Ms. White for "repeated e-mails/texts threatening lawsuit and defamation of character." The case was dismissed; but was followed by a libel lawsuit against Ms. White. A judge entered an order in favor of Kimberly Vay because Ms. White failed to respond to the lawsuit.

All this new information makes me more suspicious of these claims at this point. Plus, why not let the press know when all the other cases were coming forward?

I don't know what more will be found out, but all these claims from people who are unemployed, having money problems or who have made frivolous allegations is a repeated patterns, and something really smells.

FLASHBACK - Barney Frank's Role In 2008 Financial Collapse

The lapdog media won't tell you this, but Barney Frank played a big role in the 2008 financial collapse and (like Christoher Dodd) wrote legislation to "clean up" the mess that didn't fix the problem.

For a video flashback (FOX Nation), here is Frank getting his lunch handed to him by Bill O'Reilly.

But O'Reilly was right, it was "bull" what Frank was telling his audience. In 2004 Frank said in the video below (at the 4:54 mark)

"I don't see anything to report that raises safety and soundness problems (in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac)." He expanded more at the 6:50 mark. The above video shows Democrats who ignored the pleas from GOP Reps. into hearings on Fannie and Freddie.

No Democrat was ever held to account for this. No one is holding Barney Frank for that.

Richmond VA Tea Party Group Hit With Audit After They Confront Democrat Mayor On #OWS Double Standard

A month ago, I noted how the Democrat towns of Atlanta, GA and Richmond, VA have given much preferential treatment to the OccupyWallStreet squatters than the local Tea Party groups.

I just received an e-mail from Colleen Owens of the Richmond Tea Party who writes at Right Side News of what happened after the Tea Party group gave an invoice to Democrat Mayor Dwight Jones.  They received an audit from the city.

Two weeks after the Richmond Tea Party delivered an invoice to Richmond Mayor Dwight Jones for costs incurred for previous rallies; we received a letter from the City of Richmond formally stating that the city is auditing our Tea Party. Coincidence? This audit is an obvious attempt to intimidate and harass us for standing up against the unfair treatment and discrimination against our Tea Party.

...The Mayor not only allowed the Occupiers to break the law, but he visited them in the city-owned park. “Jones said that as a ‘child of civil rights’ and protests, he had allowed the group to remain in the park but understands his mayoral responsibility to uphold laws of the city,” reported the Richmond Times Dispatch.

Apparently his mayoral duties included preferential treatment for a group he sympathizes with ideologically at the expense of the taxpayers.

The blog Virginia Right reported that the city provided services such as portable toilets, trash pickup etc. The incomplete invoices obtained from the city totaled $7,000. This was only a portion of the actual costs to taxpayers because the costs of police, helicopter and incarcerations were not included. Also not accounted for was the 24-hour police protection of the Mayor’s home after the Occupiers moved their camp next door to the Mayor’s house. The Richmond Tea Party, conversely, paid for all services for our rallies, including the police, portable toilets, park fees and permits, amounting to approximately $8,500.

...On November 14th representatives of our Tea Party attended the City Council meeting to speak to the Mayor and Council during the citizen forum. Mayor Jones, apparently too busy to listen to his constituents, got up and left before we spoke. He had no problem inviting members of the Occupy group to his office for a closed door meeting days later, at the same time refusing to meet with us.

His administration, however, found the time to send us an audit letter (provided in full below). No need for the city to audit the Occupiers, because, as the Mayor knows, all of their costs were provided by the taxpayers of Richmond.(Gateway Pundit)

City Audit Letter Notification

In the audit letter signed by Cynthia Carr, Field Auditor for the City of Richmond, it states that our Tea Party is delinquent in filing of Admissions, Lodging, and Meals Taxes with the city and as such our group has been targeted for a comprehensive audit. Well aren’t we special? In fact, as part of the Business License we have with the City, a form is filled out by our treasurer every month (as required). We have never charged admission, or had lodging or meals associated with our rallies. Every month the forms are appropriately filled with zeros. Ms. Carr goes on to say that if we don’t respond within 15 days, the City will make a statutory assessment- meaning they’ll pick an amount to charge us.

So the City and Mayor apparently feels that the Richmond Tea Party has not paid its fair share for use of Kanawha Plaza. We challenged the Mayor’s unequal treatment between groups and he responds with even more unequal treatment.

This story has also fired up other Tea Party groups across the country that have had the laws and fees applied unequally in regards to Tea Party rallies and Occupy protest camps. The message coming from mayors in numerous cities is that they are willing to spend millions in taxpayer money to accommodate the Occupiers that are breaking the law but have no problem charging Tea Party groups that follow the law exorbitant fees and making them jump through hoops to acquire permits.(Yahoo News)

Obviously, Democrat Dwight Jones and other liberal cities who pull this kind of garbage ignore that the First Amendment applies to all, not selective groups. Neither do I think the Founders had illegal squatting, public defecation, masturbation, rape, lawlessness, disobeying law enforcement and assault as part of freedom of speech.

Here is the contact information for the Richmond City Council, as well as the Mayor. Contact them and let them know your displeasure (keep it respectable, please).  This is bullying and abuse of power for liberals who side with lawlessness because it matches their liberal agenda.

Bye Bye Barney Frank!

Breaking News!  Barney Frank will not see re-election in 2012 (Political

Frank Will Not Run Again

Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) will not run for re-election for a 17th term.

He will hold a press conference at 1 pm ET to discuss his decision.

He's leaving Congress over 20 years after he should have been expelled.

Are Schumer & Slick Willie Trying To Move Voters To Romney By Saying Good Things About Newt?

Newt Gingrich got a really big endorsement from a major conservative newspaper in the northeast, the New Hampshire Union Leader.

And now he's having good things said about him by Slick Willie Clinton and UpChuck Schumer, the ambulance chaser from Brooklyn (Kerry Picket, Washington Times).

Senator Chuck Schumer, New York Democrat, knows very well that any kind of support from him towards a Republican candidate could deep six that GOP'er in as fast as New York minute. Sen. Schumer was asked by Meet the Press's David Gregory on Sunday about former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich's recent ascent to the top of the Republican presidential primary pack.

Mr. Schumer seized upon Gingrich's thoughts on how to solve the nation's illegal immigration problem.

(10:12 in from video above) "He’s clearly a smart guy, and look I give him some credit for not just blowing with the winds on an issue like immigration. That showed real courage and I think people are looking for courage and leadership," said Senator Schumer.

The former House speaker's ideas on staving off illegal immigration, which included welcoming guest workers and tracking them with secure IDs, may hurt him among conservatives who interpret his ideas as amnesty.

Senator Schumer was not the only influential Democrat to speak nicely of Mr. Gingrich. Former President Bill Clinton, also endeared himself to Mr. Gingrich telling Newsmax, “He's articulate and he tries to think of a conservative version of an idea that will solve a legitimate problem.”

Mr. Clinton added, "For example, I watched the national security debate last night. And Newt said two things that would make an independent voter say, ‘Well, I gotta consider that.’"

Newt's ideas about some form of legalization for illegal aliens who have been in the country for a number of years has caused a lot of debate among GOP voters, bloggers and activists. Certainly, good words from two extreme, partisan liberal voices would be enough to drive voters from Gingrich, wouldn't it?

And is that what Schumer and Clinton are trying to do? Move independents and Republicans from Newt towards biting the bullet and selecting Romney?

I'm suspicious...and despite earlier endorsements, I'm not for any particular candidate right now, except I am opposed to Romney, Paul or Huntsman.

David Frum & Colin Powell Continue Pushing For A GOP That Stands For Nothing

Two alleged Republicans--David Frum and Colin Powell--decided the rest of America needed to benefit of their wisdom (or lack thereof) and let America know what the GOP needs to become for 2012...a party that stands for nothing.

Frum, from National Post, "In the Republican race, it’s Romney, Huntsman or bust" (via Legal Insurrection).

So that leaves us with the two governors, Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman. Romney has the better record as an administrator. I still think that his Massachusetts health-care plan showed creative leadership on an important problem — even if he himself now declines to defend his own accomplishment.

Romney has spoken well and firmly about the need to stop Iran’s nuclear weapons program. He has a keen understanding of the debt and financial problems of the U.S. and Europe.

Yet it’s also true that Romney has reversed so many of his positions so abruptly that voting for him is like taking a random walk. We can be sure that a Romney White House will be well-run. But what will it do? That’s anybody’s guess.

Huntsman, by contrast, has bravely challenged the Republican party’s strident, uncompromising radical style. I also like Huntsman’s willingness to re-examine the Afghanistan commitment and to focus more on the economic challenge from China. On the other hand, Huntsman’s economic platform is pure Wall Street Journal editorial page: Big tax cuts for the highest-income earners, radical cuts in retirement benefits for people now under 55. The more supple Romney has carefully avoided any such radical commitment.

The Washington, D.C., primary is set for April 3. I’ll probably cast a vote that day for Huntsman, if only to show support for a brave and independent-minded candidate — and in hope that a strong Huntsman showing will be interpreted as a call for a more modern and inclusive Republican party.

If Mitt Romney emerges as the ultimate nominee, I’ll place my hope that the Romney who enters the Oval Office will be the innovative, solutions-oriented Romney 1.0 — and not the placate-every-GOP-interest-group Romney 3.0 we’ve seen on the 2011 campaign trail.

Any other nominee would gravely test my commitment to the political party I’ve supported since I entered the United States as a college student in the fall of 1978.

Here, Frum shows why he's the liberal's favorite useful idiot. His ideal choice for the GOP nod is a guy who has flip-flopped more times than John Kerry. Note that Frum praises Romney's socialized medicine scheme, which was the basis for Obamacare. His preferred candidate, Huntsman, would have been the perfect Republican 1940, with his isolationist views.

Never mind that Frum goes after all the rest of the GOP candidates who show any real conservatism in them (Rick Perry is "dim," Bachmann is a "firebrand," Santorum panders too much to the religious right, and Newt is a "flavor of the month." All the name calling from the "No Labels" Frum, who rushed out to attack Rush Limbaugh in early 2009 (he's also attacked Mark Levin, because Frum is a jealous little man) and was one of the professional "Conservative" pundits who participated in the Left's vicious attacks on Sarah Palin, because Frum is more of a self-promoter instead of promoting a winning movement.  Frum instead wants to rebrand conservatism into a formula that cannot win, because it does not distinguish itself from modern liberalism.

Then there's Colin Powell, the one-time McCain supporter who abandoned him for Obama, because it was more important to cast that historic vote for Obama. Powell says any Tea Party candidate cannot win in 2012 (The Hill, via Gateway Pundit).

“The Tea Party point of view of ‘no compromise whatsoever’ is not a point of view that will eventually produce a presidential candidate who will win,” he said on ABC’s “This Week With Christiane Amanpour.”

Powell said taking the no-compromise position isn’t helping get things done in Washington, and called on members of Congress to “come back to the center to compromise” in order to see progress.

“Compromise is how this country was founded,” he said, offering as an example the issue of slavery. “Can you imagine more difficult compromises today?” he asked. “We have a Congress now that can’t even pass an appropriations bill.”

Powell slammed the tone on Capitol Hill, which he called “very tense.”

“Republicans and Democrats are focusing more and more on their extreme left and extreme right,” he said “Unless two people in disagreement with each other don’t find a way to reach out to one another and make compromises, you don’t get a consensus that allows you to move forward.”

Do you notice the one theme Frum, Powell, and their lot have in common? Conservatives are the ones who are supposed to "moderate" and essentially stand for nothing. You never hear them saying Democrats needing to become less extreme Left wing, quit supporting the Occupy Wall Street squatters, socialism, and have vitriolic bombthrowers like Barack Obama, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, Nancy Pelosi, Alan Grayson, Chuck Schumer as the voice of their party.

I'll quote again from Ronald Reagan's 1975 CPAC speech, and direct it to Frum and Powell in particular:

"I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, "We must broaden the base of our party” - when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, ? ... It is time to reassert our principles and raise them to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way."

CNN's Piers Morgan Allows Capt. Mark Kelly To Shamelessly Link Sarah Palin Map To Gabby Giffords Shooting

Thanks to Legal Insurrection for linking as Post of the Day - 11/27/2011

"A lie told often enough becomes the truth." Vladimir Lenin, communist revolutionary.

For anyone who has followed the modern Left, it's been apparent that the ends justify the means, including spreading lies and slander about people who they politically disagree with, as well as a sympathetic media who act as PR agents of the Democrat Party, instead of "objective" watchdogs.

The lapdog media outlet CNN, their host Piers Morgan, as well as the husband of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, astronaut Mark Kelly, acted on Thanksgiving Eve just like the proverbial Leftist zealot who is so blinded by their ideology they're willing to ruin the meaning of the holidays.

Kelly and Morgan used their time to continue the lapdog media lie that Sarah Palin somehow had something to do with Rep. Giffords shooting, as well as the killing of six wounding of 13 others (Newsbusters).

PIERS MORGAN, HOST: Some interesting insights in the book into who, you know, walked to the plate and who didn't, really, in terms of political colleagues and people that she had worked for and against. Sarah Palin doesn't come out of this very well, I don't think, because there was a woman who at the time had been putting these cross hair things on her website and stuff, including Gabby.

And in her haste to take responsibility didn't even bother to pick the phone up, to write, do anything.

MARK KELLY: Yeah, we were never contacted by her.

MORGAN: I find that extraordinary.

KELLY: Yeah, I was surprised too. You know, certainly the targets that she put over Gabby's and other people's districts, in our opinion, was not the right thing to do. She is not the first person to do that. And it hasn't always been Republicans that have done that.

(MIM Note - The Difference between Survey Symbols and "Targets" [Moonbattery])

DNC "Target" Map - 2004 (above)

MORGAN: I liked your line about it, which is if you had had the chance to talk to her, and you were expecting to, you weren't going to say that you were responsible. But you were going to say, you've been irresponsible.

KELLY: Yeah, that's my plan. You know, this was no surprise to us. Gabby even spoke about it before January 8th, during the election cycle, leading up to the election, in an interview. I think it might have been on MSNBC or some other -- another cable news network. She made is very clear that, hey, this is what's going on, and this could ultimately incite people to do violent things. So it wasn't a big surprise on January 8th that -- you know, that we -- you know, where we knew this map existed with the cross-hairs on it. Now, having said that, you know, Sarah Palin certainly is not responsible for what happened. But I think the angry rhetoric in an election year is not -- it's not helpful.

MORGAN: Because there are people out there who are clearly mentally unstable. And Jared Lee Loughner is a classic example of this, where he clearly was not normal when he did this.

You know Mark Kelly, you have one hell of a nerve to, on one hand, say Palin was "irresponsible" for the "targets" poster and then say she "certainly isn't responsible for what happened." What is it going to be, Captain Kelly? You can't have it both ways. What motivates you in making this untrue claim? Misdirected anger?  Future political ambitions?

As for Ms. Palin not contacting you, why should she? She made a public statement the afternoon of the shooting, and went further a few days later.  What good was that?  She was viciously attacked for standing up to the libel and false accusations being linked to her. The message? Sarah Palin is damned if she does and damned if she doesn't.

And spare me the talk of the "angry rhetoric in an election year" crap Captain Kelly, because that had nothing to do with this shooting. Especially when those making the same accusation and calling for more civility have accused the GOP of wanting women to die on the hospital floor, building a moat around the border with alligators, or wanting dirtier air or water. Instead of condemning the hateful rhetoric of Occupy Wall Street, they fundraise off of it or say they ran for office because of it.  Incivility is the hallmark of the Democrat Left, they shamelessly live off of it and accuse the GOP of inciting it.

Just like the "Tea Party called us the n-word" lie, the linking of Sarah Palin to this tragedy was a cynical and diabolical attempt to eliminate a movement or potential Presidential candidate with their poison pens and tongues that they could not defeat ideologically. It also proves the adage that, to the Left, the ends justifies the means, regardless if a few eggs have to be broken in order to make the omelet.

And shame on you, Captain Mark Kelly, for not only repeating the lie, but spiting the goodwill of millions of Americans who have wished the best for Rep. Giffords, and who have been cheered by her recovery.

Speaking of using the word "targets," this today from AP:

A Texas Thanksgiving Tradition Comes To An End Tonight

FINAL SCORE - University of Texas - 27, Texas A&M 25

What is as traditional as turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie in Texas?

The annual football rivalry between the University of Texas (at Austin) Longhorns and Texas A&M University Aggies.

It's even more special today, as this 118 year rivalry ends. (Corpus Christi Caller Times).

Nueces County Judge Loyd Neal, Texas A&M Class of 1959, has attended nearly every game his alma mater has played against its bitter rival Texas since he was 10.

There was that time though as a young man when he missed it, but he had a good reason. He enlisted in the Army.

The game always has meant a lot to Neal, who will be at Kyle Field on Thursday night. But a rivalry that has spanned 118 years and a holiday tradition for millions of Texans is done, at least for the foreseeable future. Texas A&M is leaving the Big 12 for the SEC next year, and the game will be the last between the two teams until at least 2019.

"It's a shame to see the rivalry end like this," he said. "Hopefully, the two athletics departments can figure out a way to keep this one alive."

These photos below were taken by my sister, who was at the Yell Practice last night at Kyle Field in College Station, TX with my brother-in-law and future Aggie nephew.

My trip to Kyle Field in October 2010.

It's a toss up with me between the teams. Having spent my first five years from birth in Austin, there's a lot of Longhorn in me (my dad will tell the story of how he paraded me as a 1 year old in 1970 dressed in orange and white among weeping Oklahoma Sooners fans at the old Mueller Airport in Austin), but I also graduated from a college that is part of the Texas A&M system, so I have some "Maroon" in me as well (hence the maroon color of the blog).

So to prep you Longhorn and Aggie's the team music...

This Best Sums Up The "Occupy" Movement

In other words, gimme gimme gimme!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving with your friends, family, and others today, and if you're travelling, safe travels to you.  Thank you as always for your readership and friendship.

Hippie Mad At Arrest Of #OWS Squatters In South Carolina Arrested For Posting Death Threat To Gov. Nikki Haley

Hey dumbass...freedom of speech doesn't give you the right to post death threats against public officials (

A South Carolina man is accused of threatening the life of Gov. Nikki Haley on Facebook, but he claims he was only making a point about free speech.

When 26-year-old Nathan Shafer heard about the arrests of 19 Occupy Columbia members outside the State House last Wednesday, he did what lots of people do when they get angry -- he vented about it on the Internet. He saw Gov. Haley's Facebook post about the arrests and Haley's comment that she "appreciate[s] freedom of speech," and that's when authorities say Shafer crossed the line.

"I hope someone murders you before I do," Shafer said he commented on the post. "How's that for freedom of speech?"

The next day, Shafer says two State Law Enforcement Division agents visited him in Charlotte to discuss the comment. Shafer says he retracted and deleted his statement, promised he wasn't serious and apologized to the Haley family.

Still, Shafer says SLED agents called him again on Tuesday and told him he'll be prosecuted for the alleged threat. Shafer turned himself in at noon on Wednesday at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.

"I just think the whole situation is completely ridiculous and blown out of proportion," Shafer wrote shortly before his arrest.

Threats against public officials are naturally taken very seriously, even when a comment was supposedly made in jest. In July, however, a federal court ruled that a man who posted online statements calling for President Barack Obama's assassination was merely exercising his free speech rights.

At issue, according to the court, is whether a "reasonable person" would view the statement in question as a genuine threat. In Shafer's case, that remains to be seen.

That federal judge who made the stupid descision in July that an online threat to Obama was "free speech" should have his head examined. Because how can you tell if it is a serious threat or not?  Freedom of speech doesn't give you the right to yell "fire" in a crowded theatre. People shouldn't be stupid enough to issue threats. There are other ways to express your anger about a law, a policy decision, or anything like that that doesn't involve making threats.

Mitt Romney Was For Amnesty Before He Was Against It

Here's a clip from the GOP debate last night, when Newt Gingrich made his quasi-selective amnesty. At about 4:35, former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney was brought into the conversation and said...

"Amnesty is a magnet...The right course for our immigration system is to say we welcome people who want to come here legally."

That's different from what Romney said back in 2007 (Legal Insurrection).

"My own view is....those people who have come here illegally and are in this country, the 12 million or so that are here illegally should be able to sign up for permanent residency or citizenship."

He made a similar statement in 2007 to a Florida newspaper

In 2005, Flip called the McLame immigration reform plan (amnesty) "quite resonable."

Amnesty...Flip Romney was "for it before he was against it."

Caller To Mark Levin Show: Patients Over 70 Who Need Neurosurgery To Be Called "Units" Given "Comfort Care" Under Upcoming Obamacare Rules

A neurosuregon from the Chicago area called into Mark Levin's radio show and gave him some chilling information.

Essentially, Health & Human Services and other government agencies have said that patients over 70 years of age who require advanced neurosurgery (stroke therapy, anyerism therapy) and come into an emergency room under government health care (ObamaCare)will get "comfort care." Also, the elderly patients would be called "units" instead of patients and "Ethics committees" would decide where money would go for hospitals and what care patients over 70 would get.

Ethics panels? A kinder way of saying "Death Panels" which means Sarah Palin is right.

Spread this audio around.

Newt Creates Himself A Problem, Proposes A Quasi-Amnesty

Oh boy, here we go again, another GOP candidate who just doesn't get it (video from Patriot Action Network).

The problem here is, you want to give someone some kind of legal status after 25 years is one thing, but putting the government in charge of it and it will be dropped down to 25 months. This is why the 1986 Simpson/Mazzoli Act (which Gingrich voted for & Ronald Reagan signed into law) was a failure. It did not secure the border (why Reagan signed it) and the "one time amnesty" has been dragged on for years and created the magnet for more illegal immigration.

Of course, Flip Romney went after Gingrich, but how can anyone trust him? Romney provided a magnet for illegals by covering illegal aliens with RomneyCare, as well as jobs in his garden until he was "running for office for Pete's sake, I can't have illegals working in my yard."

Plus, Romney supported the "pathway to citizenship" amnesty proposed by George W. Bush, John McLame and Lindsey Grahamnesty in a 2005 Boston Globe interview.

While Michele Bachmann has the best record on immigration, she hurts herself by passing out false and misleading numbers and claims, as she did with Rick Perry and the vaccine issue.

Rick Perry, who has problems with the issue of in-state tuition, noted correctly that the first thing that must happen is getting control of our border. Plus, illegals need to be shown that we are serious about enforcing our immigration laws. Suing states who are trying to do the job the Feds refuse to do is unAmerican (Obama/Holder show they're not on the side of Americans) and a slap in the face to those immigrants who followed the rules to become citizens. Show you're serious about enforcing the law, and people will self-deport.

Finally, whomever the president is needs to encourage Mexico to get their economic house in order and create an environment where they make more opportunity for job growth and prosperity in their own country, instead of telling their poor to go to America and bring money back to Mexico.

More realistic ideas on immigration and border security are needed, not recreations of failed ideas.

CNN/Heritage Foundation/AEI Debate - Winners & Losers

The debate from just down the road in DC ended a little over 30 minutes ago on CNN, who partnered with the great organizations The Heritage Foundation and American Enterprise Institute (AEI).

Who won?

Newt came out on top again. Newt is probably the most experienced candidate up there and he's showing it in these debates. More than that, he's studied these issues.

Rick Perry would follow. Where has this Rick Perry been? If the person who was on stage tonight had appeared in the previous debates, I think he would be more of a top tier candidate.

Bachmann did well and had more face time, but before the debate ended appears to have gotten herself in another "this vaccine creates retardation" moment. She's accusing Newt Gingrich of wanting to give 11 million illegal aliens amnesty. That didn't sound like what Newt was proposing (and I want to study this for the facts some more). This is what has hurt her campaign, attacks based on misinformation.

Romney was...the usual. Rick Santorum had more face time and made great points.

The losers tonight were Ron Paul and Jon Huntsman. Paul sounds like the al-Queda candidate up there, regurgitating their talking points. Both he and Huntsman need to realize isolationism died in December 1941. Also, Ru Paul, wer weren't in Afghanistan before 9/11 and that didn't stop the attacks from happening.

Herman Cain had the best line calling Wolf Blitzer "Blitz".

(VIDEO) UCDavis Students Were Fine With Being Pepper Sprayed

The whole media outrage about this group of UC Davis Occupy spoiled brats who were pepper sprayed is ridiculous and made up to create sympathy for the occupiers.

They knew they would be pepper sprayed and were ok with it. Here is a video (P/Oed Patriot, via Gateway Pundit) showing these students knew what was going to happen and were fine with it.

Why? The Occupy movement, their supporters in the media and among the limousine liberal one percenters (Michael "I'll finish those fries" Moore) have wanted a "Kent State Moment" to occur. Flash back to a month ago on MSNBC.

Look, they can sit there and look like they're "peaceful" but they were blocking a walkway and refused an order to move. I don't care who you are. You refuse a police request, you brought pepper spray on yourself, so quit your whining.

Is The Thrill Gone From Up Chris Matthews' Leg?

In case you were in a cave in 2008, this was Chris "I'll have another drink" Matthews talking about Richard Milhous Obama (BreitbartTV).

Now in 2012, it looks like the Thrill Is Gone from up Chris' leg.

Cue up B.B. King.

Shoplifting Flash Mob Swarms Silver Spring MD 7-Eleven

This has happened before, notably up in Philadelphia, Wisconsin and Germantown, MD last August. This past Saturday, a youth "flash mob" went into a Silver Spring, MD 7-Eleven to shoplift (NBC Washington).

About 50 people simultaneously shoplifted from a Silver Spring, Md., 7-Eleven Saturday night.

Officers arriving at the store in the 12200 block of Tech Road after 11:20 p.m. saw several people gathered in surrounding parking lots and on side streets, police said. They began to disperse when police arrived.

The shoplifters -- described as teens and young adults -- took items including snacks and drinks, police said

Police stopped a group of six people ages 16-18 near Tech Road and Broadbirch Drive. Each had items from the 7-Eleven but no receipts, police said.

Detectives are investigating whether the shoplifters had attended a birthday party in the area, police said.

What A Coward!...Romney Won't Call Obama A Socialist

Flip Romney was on Sean Hannity's TV show for the hour last night. Among other things, the liberal former Governor of Massachusetts would not call Richard Milhous Obama a socialist (video via Gateway Pundit).

But Rick Perry didn't hesitate or flop around when O'Reilly asked him the same question last week.

That's the way we Texans are!

Now why can't he debate like that?

TOO FUNNY! Russian News Anchor Flips Obama Off On TV

You have to see this to believe it (The Right Scoop).

She'd never get a job in the Democrat/Obama Lapdog Media.

Democrats Don't Want Debt Solutions. Proof? Ambulance Chaser Chuck Schumer Shuts Down Tea Party Debt Commission Meeting

The Super Stupid Committee has failed, and all the libs, including the Divider-in-Chief Obama are blaming the GOP for the failure.

But isn't the problem really that we have a President who refuses to lead? He chooses to make speaches and campaign stump apperances while ignoring the job he was elected to do. And can it be said that liberals in Congress don't want the debt to be solved, but choose to make it a campaign issue for their failed President?

Here's a case in point. Last week, Freedomworks and Senator Mike Lee set out to do a Tea Party Debt Commission, illustrating ideas on making $10 trillion in cuts.

But the meeting was shut down, by none other than liberal Senator UpChuck Schumer, the ambulance chaser from Brooklyn.

From FreedomWorks e-mail (h/t Smitty):

While Congress and their "super committee" are meeting behind closed doors and have failed to make even meager cuts to the federal budget, the Tea Party and FreedomWorks proposed massive cuts to federal government. As Roll Call reported, "The FreedomWorks proposal was more detailed than anything that has been publicly discussed by the Joint Committee on Deficit Reduction."

But minutes before our event, on the orders of Chuck Schumer, chairman of the Senate Rules Committee, our microphones were confiscated and our members ejected from the room!

We observed all the rules. Senator Mike Lee reserved the room for us weeks in advance. Every "i" was dotted and every "t" crossed. But when Senate Democrats got word that we planned on doing their job for them ... that we planned to suggest real cuts to the budget ... well, that's when they got scared and pulled the plug.

Please watch the video of the shutdown below, and immediately take action by calling Senator Chuck Schumer (Rules Committee Chairman) and Senator Lamar Alexander (Rules Committee Ranking Member) DEMANDING an apology.

Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D NY)

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R TN)

Don't let them put you to voice mail, either. That's their way of brushing you off.

Two Dem Pollsters To Obama: Bow Out & Let Hillary Run

Interesting development (National Journal, via Gateway Pundit).

President Obama should abandon his run for a second term and turn over the reins of the Democratic Party to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, two one-time Democratic pollsters wrote in Monday’s Wall Street Journal, which appeared online Sunday.

Patrick H. Caddell and Douglas E. Schoen argued that just as Harry Truman and Lyndon Johnson decided not to pursue additional runs though they could have, Obama should do the same.

“He should abandon his candidacy for re-election in favor of a clear alternative, one capable not only of saving the Democratic Party, but more important, of governing effectively and in a way that preserves the most important of the president’s accomplishments. He should step aside for the one candidate who would become, by acclamation, the nominee of the Democratic Party: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton,”Caddell and Schoen wrote.

Caddell, who worked as a pollster for President Jimmy Carter, and Schoen, who was a pollster for President Bill Clinton, argue that Obama will inevitably have to run a negative campaign in order to win reelection, the negative consequences of which will make it difficult for him to govern effectively.

“One year ago in these pages, we warned that if President Obama continued down his overly partisan road, the nation would be ‘guaranteed two years of political gridlock at a time when we can ill afford it.’ The result has been exactly as we predicted: stalemate in Washington, fights over the debt ceiling, an inability to tackle the debt and deficit, and paralysis exacerbating market turmoil and economic decline,” they write.

Caddell and Schoen say they write as “patriots and Democrats” who are concerned for their country, and they do not expect to play a direct role in any possible Clinton campaign.

Of course, Obama and liberals will dismiss Schoen and Caddell as just Fox News minions, but let's be honest. You can disagree with both these guys on policy but they're pretty reasonable when it comes to Democrats.

It won't happen though. If Algore wouldn't concede for the good of the nation in 2000, Obama won't step aside in 2012 because he's far too narcissistic than either Gore or Slick Willie Clinton. Plus, why step aside when the GOP has the potential to hand you a second term if Flip Romney is chosen as their nominee?

Hillary, by the way, is overhyped. She's just as partisan and as much of an Alinskyite as Obama. She'd just be able to (with Slick's help) fool people into thinking she's reasonable.

Was Romney Engaged In Covert, Scorched Earth Campaign To Win Nomination Since 2008?

There was an interesting piece written in, that Prof. William Jacobson at Legal Insurrection links to and wonders if there's more to it. An excerpt:

In 2008 it was uncovered long after the primaries had been concluded that the Romney campaign staff had in unethical and covert ways infiltrated prominent conservative opinion sources like the National Review with leads and exclusives that were designed to adversely harm all the other candidacies minus Romney. Most specifically National Review repeated false assertions made by these Romney operatives about Governor Mike Huckabee. Coulter parroted them in her syndicated space and was never called to account to it until she appeared on the Huckabee television show–to tout her book of course–when the Governor politely, but assertively called her inaccuracies into question.

It caused such consternation to Coulter that she walked out after one segment, though she had been booked for two
This goes with what I wrote about Ann Coulter the other day, and a suspicion I've long had about her. This is where Ann is, I think, shown she's great at satiring liberals, but when it comes to being a deep thinker, she's on the shallow end of the pool. When she's challenged by what would be considered a fellow conservative, she runs away. I've seen her do that once or twice.

I think there's more to the alleged Romney "scorched earth" campaign. He not only sought out friendly media acolytes, but used staffers to tear down potential 2012 nominees.

Consider this article just weeks before the election in 2008....

Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers, some of whom are currently working for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin's bid for the White House, have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election. "Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012," says one former Romney aide, now working for McCain-Palin. "The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney. He's in charge on November 5th."

As well as this one in summer 2010:

An adviser to Mitt Romney, the former Massachusetts governor and, by traditional standards, the putative 2012 front runner, says of Palin, "She's not a serious human being." Another Romney intimate warns, "If she's standing up there in a debate and the answers are more than 15 seconds long, she's in trouble."

That's why I never considered Rick Perry to be the source of the Politico story on Herman Cain. If it didn't come from Obama, I think Romney would have had no problem doing some dirty trick like that. Romney has clearly seen the 2012 nomination as his since he conceded to John McLame in 2008, and was engaged in getting it by any means necessary, regardless if he destroys the Republican Party in the process.

"Supercommittee" To Fail, Was An Example In Lack Of Leadership

The clock is running out on the deadline for the debt supercommittee to come up with cuts to be made (NY Slimes, via American Power).

Conceding that talks on a grand budget deal are near failure, Congressional leaders on Sunday pointed fingers at each other as they tried to deflect blame for their inability to figure out a way to lower the federal deficit without having to rely on automated cuts.

The testy exchanges — which dominated the Sunday talk shows — made clear that leaders in both parties now see the so-called sequester — a term meaning an automatic spending cut — as the most likely solution to reduce the federal deficit by $1.2 trillion over 10 years, instead of a negotiated package of spending reductions and tax increases, something they have been unable to achieve over the last 10 weeks.

Democrats blamed the Republicans for their unwillingness to walk away from a no-new-taxes pact they signed at the request of a conservative, antitax group, arguing that the American public realizes that no grand deal could be reached without a combination of spending cuts and new tax revenues.

“As long as we have some Republican lawmakers who feel more enthralled with a pledge they took to a Republican lobbyist than they do to a pledge to the country to solve the problems, this is going to be hard to do,” Senator Patty Murray, Democrat of Washington, the co-chairwoman of the 12-member special Congressional committee on deficit reduction, said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

The whole idea of a supercommittee was a ridiculous one and showed an utter lack of leadership on the part of John Boehner and the Republican leadership in the House. It was simply a way of kicking the can down the road, instead of rolling the sleeves up and getting cuts.

But honestly, there's no way the budget will be cut, or any finanical sanity restored to our nation, until Obama is defeated for re-election, while we have to select the most conservative of the GOP field to replace him.

"Al Queda" Sympathizer Arrested For Plotting Terror Attacks In New York

Guess what "religion" the suspect is? (Yahoo News).

Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced at a news conference the Saturday arrest of Jose Pimentel of Manhattan, "a 27-year-old al-Qaida sympathizer" who the mayor said was motivated by terrorist propaganda and resentment of U.S. troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The mayor said Pimentel, a U.S. citizen originally from the Dominican Republic, was "plotting to bomb police patrol cars and also postal facilities as well as targeted members of our armed services returning from abroad."

Authorities have no evidence that Pimentel was working with anyone else, the mayor added.

"He appears to be a total lone wolf," the mayor said. "He was not part of a larger conspiracy emanating from abroad."

Instead, Bloomberg said, Pimentel represents the type of threat FBI Director Robert Mueller has warned about as U.S. forces erode the ability of terrorists to carry out large scale attacks.

Pimentel, also known as Muhammad Yusuf, is accused of having an explosive substance Saturday when he was arrested that he planned to use against others and property to terrorize the public.

The charges accuse him of conspiracy going back at least to October 2010, and include first-degree criminal possession of a weapon as a crime of terrorism, and soliciting support for a terrorist act. He was to be arraigned later Sunday.

"This is just another example of New York City because we are an iconic city ... this is a city that people would want to take away our freedoms gravitate to and focus on," Bloomberg said.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said a confidential informant had numerous conversations with Pimentel on Sept. 7 in which he expressed interest in building small bombs and targeting banks, government and police buildings.

So the idiot Mayor Bloomberg didn't get to theorize that this terrorist was "upset about the health-care bill," as he said about the Times Square bomber.

Michelle Obama & Jill Biden Booed At NASCAR Race

When you have contempt for people who disagree with you, and act like Marie Antoinette while many Americans are struggling to get by, well, this is what happens. (Yahoo News).

As you can tell by the video, the most important people there, the veterans who have served this nation, received well-deserved, loud cheers from the NASCAR crowd.

Occupy Wall Street Marchers In NY Yesterday: "9/11 Was An Inside Job"

The Obama/DNC endorse Occupy Wall Street communists held a march through New York yesterday, promoting the 9/11 Troof movement.

Pundit Press has the video:

If you needed any more evidence that Occupy Wall Street was a bunch of scumbags, here it is. Yesterday, OWS held a "September 11th Truth March," dedicated to forcing the government to investigate the terrorist attacks of 9/11.

I will not dignify these conspiracy theorists with a long response. Thousands of witnesses, thousands of experts, and hundreds of scientific articles all speak for themselves. The fact of the matter is that this impossibly stupid march once again shows OWS to be a group of delusional weirdos.

You can watch the video below and both see and listen a fair-sized group of OWS nuts screaming, "9/11 was an inside job!"

This banner was held by some of the squatters as well:

"They're just like the Tea Party." Right!

Obama/DNC Endorsed Occupy Portland Squatter Punches Police Horse In Face

Portland Police are asking for the identity and more information on who struck a police horse in the face (Gateway Pundit).

Where's PETA at? Forget that I asked, because they'll probably blame the police for riding the horses instead of the fellow commie traveller who punched the animal.

Newt vs. Romney....No Difference?

At this point in the 2012 cycle, I'm still not settled on a candidate who I'll get behind (after a couple of choices). All I know is there's a couple who I definitely will not support, and one of those is being pushed as the "inevitable" nominee even before one vote has been cast.

A lot of the "professional conservative punditry" are also attacking Newt Gingrich, as being not authentic. I understand, and have had some of the same criticisms over the years about Newt.

However, there are some differences worth pointing out, as Prof. William Jacobson has done at Legal Insurrection, in looking back at videos from 1994 of Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney.

These two videos tell a lot about both of them, who has convictions and who doesn't.

Also, Dan Riehl struck gold and found how Romney supporter Jennifer Rubin of the Washington ComPost dismissed Romney in 2008, and said essentially the same things about John McLame then that she now writes about Romney.

Will Jennifer Rubin star in the remake of Groundhog Day?

(VIDEO) White House Shooter Said He Was Modern Day Jesus, Said US "Bullies" Other Nations For Oil

Oscar Ortega Hernandez, who fired at the White House last Friday and is charged with attempting to assassinate President Obama, is NOT a Tea Party member.

LatinoFoxNews, links to MyFoxDC, who got the tape (h/t Free Republic), has the video. Hernandez not only tried to say he was the "Modern Day Jesus Christ," but said the US was bullying other nations for oil.

"You see Oprah, there is still so much more that God needs me to express to the world. It's not just a coincidence that I look like Jesus. I am the modern day Jesus Christ that you all have been waiting for... .Because the government is fighting, or should I say bullying, these countries for their oil, our freedom is at stake,"

Ortega Hernandez was thought to be hanging out with the DC Occupy squatters the other day. The Occupy San Diego bunch held a moment of silence for Ortega Hernandez.

Never saw that at a Tea Party did you?
