New Tone Alert: Obama's Labor Secretary Hilda Solis Called Tea Party "Teabaggers"

Another case of the Obama Regime's "civility" pledge broken in Florida on Saturday (Sunshine State News).

A day after Vice President Joe Biden told the convention at Walt Disney World that Obama needed to carry Florida to win in 2012, Solis attempted to rally Democrats for the elections and urged them to push for the Obama jobs plan which, with Republicans controlling the U.S. House, has no chance of passing Congress.

Speaking at a luncheon event on Saturday, Solis carried water for Obama, bashing Republicans and praising the administration’s economic policies.

Solis offered harsh words about conservatives. Looking at 2012, Solis slammed the tea party movement, calling them “teabaggers” and promising the Obama administration will take them on.

Reminder: "Teabagger" is a crude sexual slur which refers to dipping genitals into the mouth of another person.

Another reminder: earlier this year Solis took part also in a union conference call with Vice President Bite Me, where used the term "barbarians at the gate" against the Tea Party.

But Solis endorsed the far-Left Occupy Wall Street fleabaggers. She even spoke at Al Sharpton's recent rally in DC.

Lard Ass Movie Maker Visiting Occupy (_____) Locations

The Human Hindenburg named Michael Moore was in Oakland over the weekend visiting the squatters at Occupy Oakland (CBS). Apparently, just like the rest of the America hating Left, Fat Boy found a soldier he likes in Scott Olsen.

He supposedly went to Portland, OR, to visit the mob there today (Oregon Live, via JWF).

Occupy Portland volunteers expect a visit Monday afternoon from filmmaker Michael Moore.

Volunteers also say demonstrators following a Halloween-inspired zombie theme will march from Lownsdown Square to a Bank of America to protest the bank’s coal interests.

Since Moore is part of the One Percent he so despises (and is tough for him to admit), I'm sure he couldn't admit either his real reason for going to these rallies is the free food.

Loon At Occupy Wall Street -- Da Jooooos Did 9/11

The video below is self-explanatory (Weekly Standard h/t Weasel Zippers).

Obama's Lapdog Media Begins "High Tech Lynching" Of Herman Cain. Same Politico Writer Did Hit Pieces On Palin, Joe the Plumber

Politico, who act more like one of the unofficial PR organizations in the Committee to Re-Elect the President (CREEP) instead of a news organization, has launched a smear attack on black GOP Presidential contender Herman Cain. The allegation? Cain is alleged to have acted in a way Democrats behave, and get a free pass for.

POLITICO learned of the allegations against him, and over the course of several weeks, has put together accounts of what happened by talking to a lengthy roster of former board members, current and past staff and others familiar with the workings of the trade group at the time Cain was there.

In one case, POLITICO has seen documentation describing the allegations and showing that the restaurant association formally resolved the matter. Both women received separation packages that were in the five-figure range.

On the details of Cain’s allegedly inappropriate behavior with the two women, POLITICO has a half-dozen sources shedding light on different aspects of the complaints.

The sources — which include the recollections of close associates and other documentation — describe episodes that left the women upset and offended. These incidents include conversations allegedly filled with innuendo or personal questions of a sexually suggestive nature, taking place at hotels during conferences, at other officially sanctioned restaurant association events and at the association’s offices. There were also descriptions of physical gestures that were not overtly sexual but that made women who experienced or witnessed them uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.

Peter Kilgore, who was the association’s general counsel in the 1990s, and remains in that position today, has declined to comment to POLITICO on whether any settlements existed, saying he cannot discuss personnel matters.

As R.S. McCain notes, the exculpatory material is saved at the end of Obama Lapdog Media reporter Jonathan Martin's story. McCain also finds one staff worker on Cain's 2004 Senate campaign stated....

I don’t believe story that Cain behaved inappropriately,” wrote the woman, who uses the Twitter handle @KarolNYC. “He never even bordered on inappropriate in the slightest,” she Tweeted, and added that she ”just can’t believe there’s anything to the charges.”

Cain’s supporters are furious and there is widespread suspicion that the Politico story was the result of opposition-research by Cain’s GOP rivals.

Or maybe Karl Rove????

I found at information that Politico's Obama propagandist Martin had written a smear story about Sarah Palin last October, alleging her of backing out of an appearance on air with Mark Levin. But Martin never bothered to contact Levin. According to the same Big Journalism piece, Martin also led the way into probing private citizen Joe Wurzelbacher, aka Joe the Plumber, after Wurzelbacher's infamous meeting with Obama in 2008, where the then Presidential candidate said he wanted to "spread the wealth."

Appearing on Glenn Beck's show, Palin called Obama propagandist Martin "a punk."

More on the Cain allegations at Real Feminist.

So isn't it interesting that we had a serial sexual harasser as President, yet this same media, as well as the feminazis, said this had nothing to do with how he did his job. So why then these unsubstantiated attacks on Cain.

What's really going on?  Flashback to 20 years ago....

Just by rising in the polls as a contender to replace the failed Obama Regime, Cain (like Clarence Thomas, and even Sarah Palin and Marco Rubio), is a threat to the liberal group think they've used against women and minorities for years.

A minority or woman who dares to think for themselves is the biggest threat to liberals, because it shows they do not need to rely on any particular political party, candidate or ideology. And if one dares to think for themselves, they must be destroyed.

#OWS Weekend Insanity In Denver, Orange County CA & Elsewhere

It may have been cold and snowy here in the 'burbs of Washington DC, but the insanity of the Obama Regime/Democrat Party approved #Occupy Wall Street movement was as hot as ever.

While on Twitter yesterday during the snow fall, I saw Sister Toldjah mentioning how things were getting hot in Denver...and sure enough they did. Gateway Pundit has video of how police in riot gear had to hold back the squatters there, as they tried to close down the camp. One policeman had his bike kicked over and others were kicked at.

The video below shows one of the squatters trying to knock over a police motorcycle (around 1:24) and got a faceful of dirt after the policeman chased and cuffed him.

You can hear sounds of protesters yelling at cops as well, one of the #OWS crowd at about 6:30 in the video calls someone (police?) a "f**king f@ggot."

It was a bit calmer in Orange County, CA this weekend, where about 100 people gathered in Irvine to show "solidarity." Donald Douglas of American Power was there had has a great photo essay and report, including some spelling challenged protest signs. Maybe they need to OccupyClassroom instead. Check out the sticker on this car that he got a photo of.

In Oregon this morning, 30 of the squatters were arrested after refusing to leave a park in an "affluent district (Fox News). In Chicago, they want the collapse of the US Government (Rebel Pundit, via Weasel Zippers).

The #OWS permit in Madison, WI was taken away due to unsanitary conditions as well as inappropriate public behavior, such as public masturbation (Ironic Surrealism). In addition to whacking off, there are even worse stories of molestation going on at various locations, including one where a 16 year old was "pimped" out by this scary creature in New Hampshire (This Ain't Hell).

More OWS stories can be found at Midnight Blue, where there is also a contest to vote for the funniest #OWS video as well.

"...Just like a Tea Party" as the libs say.

Romney Flip Flop Ad

Not a fan of Jon Huntsman, but he's made a great ad that illustrates all of Flip Romney's "flips."

Taliban Suicide Bomb Kills 13 US Soldiers In Afghanistan

Awful, sad news this morning (Yahoo News).

A Taliban suicide bomber rammed a van into an armored NATO bus Saturday in Kabul, killing 13 American troops and four Afghans, U.S. and Afghan officials said, in the deadliest attack on coalition forces in more than two months.

The explosion, which occurred as the convoy was passing the American University, sparked a fireball and littered the street with shrapnel. Heavy black smoke poured from burning wreckage at the site.

The armored personnel carrier, known as a Rhino was sandwiched between of a convoy of mine-resistant military vehicles traveling on a four-lane highway frequently used by NATO forces in a southwestern section of the city.

NATO said 13 service members were killed, but a U.S. official confirmed they were all Americans. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.

The Afghan Ministry of Interior said three Afghan civilians and one policeman also died in the attack. Eight other Afghans, including two children and four other civilians, were wounded, said Kabir Amiri, head of Kabul hospitals.

The Taliban claimed responsibility for the Kabul attack, as well as for another suicide bombing outside a government intelligence office in the northwest province of Kunar.

But don't worry, The Hildebeast is so naive she thinks we can negotiate with the Taliban, and their head, Mullah Omar.

So is it any wonder the Taliban can do this when we have a Regime and Secretary of State who signal how ready they are to pull out and hand Afghanistan back to the terrorists and Islamofascists?

Obama & Democrat Endorsed OccupyWallSt Crowd Flys Paper Airplanes Into Bank Skyscraper -- 10 Years After 9/11

Someone with National Review took video of the Occupy Wall Street squatters doing a mass flying of paper airplanes into the skyscraper where Citibank resides.

When reminded that it was 10 years after 9/11, the riff raff said they didn't mind the was more bothered by littering (h/t Sister Toldjah).

This is what happens when a Regime led by a community organizer turns 9/11 into a Day of National Service, and a compliant lapdog media refers to the terrorist attack as a "tragedy" instead.

I'm sure most of the fleabaggers spent the last 10 years saying we deserved 9/11, so no wonder they weren't bothered.

#OWS' Iraq War Vet Scott Olsen Ran USMC Hate Website. Leftists Find Vet They Love, But Silent When Other Vets Attacked

Today, we learned a lot more about Iraq War vet and hero to the Occupy Whatever squatters, Scott Olsen.

One, he was a Marine and did serve two tours in Iraq, but he appears to have been a troublemaker.

Verum Serum had an exclusive today on Olsen, that he had started a website called "I Hate the Marine Corps, Do You?"

Olsen wrote:

The Marine Corps thrives on its image. They convince young men and women that they’re joining a professional military organization. But that’s not the case at all, every Marine knows it, and most have no problem downplaying the bullshit to outsiders so they can protect their “beloved corps”. I noticed some of the other posters have told you not to pay any attention to my site because we’re just a bunch of ********* who couldn’t hack it, right? Maybe not hacking it means we saw through the bullshit and don’t want to take it. Maybe the brainwashing didn’t work on us. I’m not here to tell you if you should join or not. I’m here to advise you to take the people who visit my website just as seriously as anybody who tries to sell you the MC as a good thing.
My site is anonymous, these people don’t have to worry about hiding from the MC, or protecting the MC’s image or anything. It is unfiltered truth.
Former Marine, owner of

VS also links to what is said to be Olsen's Flickr account, where there are photos of marijuana plants, hookahs, keg parties.

There's also this comment allegedly made by Olsen:

I was talking to my 1stsgt regarding a pending adsep since i had been accused of using cocaine. Anyway, when we were done talking, he used as a parting greeting “stay marine”. He clearly didn’t think that one through. It was no secret that I couldn’t wait to get out and on top of that, the MC was trying to kick me out. I was going to bust his balls over it, but I went and took a nap instead.

According to the San Jose Mercury News:

In 2010, the Marines issued Olsen an "administrative discharge." Maj. Shawn Haney, a Marines spokesman based in Quantico, Va., declined to discuss Olsen's discharge, but said his departure could have been for anything from a medical condition to a punitive measure.

So the Marines won't comment on the nature of his discharge. I'm curious, given some of these writings, did he try to get kicked out for drug usage?

Gateway Pundit also links to a news report where Oakland Police are not sure how Olsen had suffered the blow to the head that caused his skull fracture. There is the possibility that an object was thrown by one of the Occupy Oakland squatters.

This was taken moments before Olsen was struck by whatever it was.

Olsen is to the left and behind the Navy guy. Now, isn't it illegal to wear military uniforms in this manner? According to the website for the Navy Inspector General, this is prohibited.

Personnel, including reserve forces, are prohibited from wearing military uniforms at political campaign or election events. Attendance at rallies, meetings and conventions as a spectator and not in uniform is allowed.

Olsen's condition has improved, and that is good news for him and his family.  Hopefully, an investigation by the police will find out what happened and what caused his injury.

What really hacks me off is how, for years, the abuse, threats, and even physical attacks on several Iraq & Afghanistan war vets, and there was zero outrage.

Remember Joshua Sparling?  He had some anti-war Leftist send him a card while he was recovering from wounds that read "I hope you die."  In 2007, he was spat at by someone in the ANSWER anti-war crowd in DC.  Was the Left outraged?  No.  In fact, the George Soro$ funded Media Mutters website questioned the claim that this amputee war vet was spat at, just like liberals have denied how they spat at returning Vietnam War vets.

Here's another war vet getting spat upon.

Kristinn at FreeRepublic wrote of this 2005 account of one vet who was spat upon and called "baby killer."

A mob of teens allegedly assaulted an Iraq War vet and his girlfriend outside a movie theater.

A wonded war vet was booed at Columbia University and called "racist," but this same alleged "institutaion of higher learning" has no problem allowing Iranian dictator and Holcaust denier Mahmood Ahamadamnutjob at their campus.

Yet Scott Olsen's injury has provoked more outrage among the Left and the media than all of these attacks of veterans listed above.

I'm sorry he was injured, and I wish him a speedy recovery.  He has a right to protest whatever he wishes.  But refusing a police order and being a part of a mob is not free speech.

Oakland Mayor Surrenders To Obama-Supported Squatters After Tuesday Night's Riot

As I said the other night, no wonder Oakland, CA has had a high murder rate and high crime, especially when the City Leadership refuses to back up their police department, and instead takes the side of a Leftist mob.

Yes, Oakland Mayor Jean Quan deserves a Profiles in Cowardice award for letting the squatters back at their encampments (The Blaze).

Police are standing down as Oakland Mayor Jean Quan allows the “occupiers” to reclaim the city and, presumably set up encampments yet again. The turn of events comes a mere two days after riots swept the city.

“I’m a mayor of a city that has divided opinions on some things,” Mayor Jean Quan said. “I think most support the Occupy Wall Street movement. I know you guys don’t like that I look at things day by day, situation by situation. We’re going to do what keeps most people safe.”

All you seem to hear on the news is the mean ole cops fired tear gas at the squatters and hit an Iraq War Vet. What you don't see, is what started the riot, when a mob trying to take back their camp site surrounded a handful of cops, and all hell broke loose.

At about .35 seconds into the video below, you see the Occupy Oakland crowd start throwing bottles and other projecticles at the police.

Then the tear gas came

Later that night, a guy named Scott Olsen was injured, supposedly when a projecticle (rubber buller or tear gas can) was fired into the crowd, though video evidence is conflicting. Olsen is said to have served in Iraq and has joined the squatters. He's also linked with Veterans for Peace and Iraq Veterans Against the War.

When I see those two groups mentioned (VforP and IVAW), red flags go up. Though I'm not going to make assumptions about Olsen's service until there is proof, it sholud be noted that some phony soldiers have claimed membership in organizations like IVAW (remember Jesse MacBeth?), and you don't have to have served in Iraq to be a member (Iraq Veterans Against the War is open to Active Duty, National Guard and Reservists who have served since 09/11/2001). Already, IVAW is using Olsen to raise money, according to my buddy Jonn Lilyea at This Ain't Hell. Jonn adds.

I also don’t know what happened to Olsen or who did it, but even if what the hippies are saying is entirely true, he shouldn’t have been resisting the police, which is what all of the crowd were doing. the hippies are saying he was injured for “speaking out” but he wasn’t speaking out, he was breaking the law. Veterans don’t get a pass when they break the law, even if it’s just a law we don’t agree with.

Agreed. It wasn't like he, or any of those other squatters were just minding their business, they went there with the intent to break the law.

Now they got the mayor to surrender her city to lawlessness, to drug addicts, hippies and other misfits to crap, use drugs, attract more rats and terrorize local banks because they cannot take responsibility for their own actions.

If I were a cop on the Oakland PD, I'd turn in my badge after today. Why risk one's life to protect and serve when the leadership is so feckless and willing to side with lawbreakers?

Just Like Tea Parties? Atlanta GA & Richmond VA Have Given Better Treatment To #OWS Squatters Than Tea Party

So the group of leftist squatters known at Occupy Whatever City You're In are, "just like the Tea Party?"

Well they haven't exactly been treated equally by several large American cities--namely Atlanta, GA and Richmond, VA.

In Atlanta, one tea party group is considering a lawsuit, alleging Mayor Kasim Reed is playing favorites (Atlanta Journal-Constitution).

Atlanta Tea Party co-founder Julianne Thompson told Channel 2 Action News that the group, which supports limited taxes and reduced government deficits, has made a request in writing after being denied permission to hold an event downtown because city officials said there was too much red tape and cost involved.

"I think it's very sad that in the city of Atlanta, we seem to have a mayor who picks and chooses who receives special rights regarding free speech -- based on his political ideology," Thompson told Channel 2.

Debbie Dooley, national coordinator of the Tea Party Patriots, told the AJC that the group had inquired about renting Woodruff Park or Centennial Olympic park but had decided against it due to fees, red tape and restrictions.

If Tea Party members had used civil disobedience, "we would have been removed and arrested," Dooley said.

"We feel like the mayor is selectively deciding who can use the parks," she said.

Note that the Tea Party members are respectfully petitioning the Mayor with grievances, unlike the one Democrat Rep. who yesterday compared Mayor Reed (who is black) to Democrat segregationist Bull Connor for wanting to shut down the squatter camp.

In Richmond, VA, the Tea Party group had to pay $10,000 for using the city plaza, but Occupy Richmond squatters are getting it for free (The Republic, via Gateway Pundit).

The Richmond tea party is demanding a refund of about $10,000 from the city, claiming it unfairly charged them for rallies while allowing the Occupy protesters to use the same space for several weeks for free.

The political organization is sending the city an invoice for the charges incurred for three rallies held in Kanawha Plaza over the past three years. The Occupy protesters have been camped in the plaza since Oct. 15.

Richmond Tea Party spokeswoman Colleen Owens says it’s not fair that her group had to pay fees for permits, portable toilets, police presence and emergency personnel. The group also had to purchase a $1 million insurance policy.

Compared to these Leftist "Occupy" rallies, notice that Tea Parties didn't have trash and human feces strewn everywhere, nor were there police and tear gas, let alone arrests.

There's also neo-Nazis at one Occupy event, who were armed with AR-15s...didn't see that at a Tea Party either.

WOW! Liberal SF Chronicle Calls Obama Regime's Press Access "Nixonian"

I think it might be freezing in Hell (SFGate, via Bryan Preston).

The Obama White House's restrictions on media access to its fundraising events makes a mockery of its claim to be the most transparent administration in history.

If anything, there is almost a Nixonian quality to the level of control, paranoia - and lack of credibility - this White House has demonstrated on the issue of media access to President Obama's fundraisers.

Bay Area reporters will not be allowed inside the W Hotel today when the president meets with hundreds of contributors paying $7,500 or more to attend. Only Washington-based journalists were allowed in the pool - continuing a disturbing trend by this White House to severely limit access to fundraisers. Even former President George W. Bush, hardly a champion of transparency, allowed local reporters to cover his fundraising events.

Fundraisers are not private events in this post-Watergate era. Contributions are a matter of public record, and the public has a right to know what is being said to and by the president. Local journalists are better positioned than their Beltway brethren to recognize who is there - and why.

The White House press office seems to have missed the transparency memo. Earlier this spring, it threatened to blacklist The Chronicle's Carla Marinucci from future pools after she broke what the White House claimed was an unwritten rule against print reporters shooting video. It threatened further retaliation if the paper reported on the threat - which it did. Incredibly, the White House press office denied making the threats. Now it has cut all local reporters out of the pool.

Most transparent administration in history? We'll see. Right now, we'd settle for straight answers and the opportunity to do our jobs.
Who'd have thought, the notroiously liberal San Francisco Chronicle would call the Obama Regime "Nixonian" when it came to press access.

But that doesn't mean they'll become members of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy any time soon.

Dumb Hippie In Basement Challenges Oakland Police

Well, the squatters in Oakland who were (finally) kicked out of their rat nest by the police yesterday were challenged last night when the riff raff tried to take back the camp. All hell broke lose (Zombie at PJ Tatler).

This is comedy gold. Some dumb hippie, probably stoned on medial marijuana and with too much time on his hands, uploaded the following message on YouTube to the Oakland Police Department (h/t Tabitha Hale).

I'm sure the Oakland PD are shaking in their boots, laughing at your message.

Freedom of Speech Under Attack In Nashville, TN: Hotel Cancels Anti-Sharia Law Conference After Threats

On Friday, November 11, the Preserving Freedom Conference - Stop Sharia in America, was supposed to be held at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, TN.

This is the second time this kind of suppression of free speech has occurred. A hotel in Sugar Land, TX, did the same thing last week, cancelling an event where Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs, and AFDI/SIOA was to speak.

Steve Eckley, Senior Vice-President of Hutton Hotel, told conference organizers Monday that he had been getting threatening letters and calls, and that consequently the hotel would not honor its contract for the conference. Eckley even said that if conference organizers and attendees showed up at the hotel, they would not be let in.

AFDI/SIOA executive director Pamela Geller, who is scheduled to be a keynote speaker at the conference, noted that Hyatt Hotel Place in Sugar Land, Texas, similarly caved in to Islamic supremacist intimidation last week, canceling an event at which she was speaking.

"The Hyatt was subsequently inundated with calls and emails protesting their surrender to the foes of free speech," Geller said in a statement. "The Hyatt apologized and promised redress to the Sugar Land Tea Party. The Hutton Hotel has learned nothing from this, and again allowed enemies of free speech to run roughshod over the rights of Americans. This is the second time in no less than a week that a major hotel has capitulated to intimidation and demands to enforce the blasphemy laws under the Sharia here in America."

Geller called on the Hutton Hotel, at 1808 West End Avenue in Nashville, to apologize, reverse its cancellation, and hold AFDI/SIOA sensitivity training sessions to train its employees about the importance of the freedom of speech and the Islamic jihad threat.

"Why is the Hutton Hotel more afraid of fascists and supremacists than they are of losing our cherished freedoms?" asked Geller.

She also called upon free people to boycott the Hutton Hotel until this decision is reversed, and to contact the Hutton Hotel and politely and courteously protest the hotel's cancellation and capitulation to Islamic supremacism. "Americans must boycott these cowardly enterprises and raise their voices in protest," said Geller. The Hutton Hotel's telephone number is 615-340-9333; fax: 615-340-001. Steve Eckley: 720-318-4238.

In a letter written to the organizers, Eckley actually wrote the following:

"If you had made us aware at the outset what the content of the meeting entailed and the fact that at least two of your speakers [Geller and Robert Spencer] have a history of enraging people to the point of violence has been imminent, we would not have accepted the booking."

Enraging people to the point of violence? WTF? Name me one instance where either Geller or Spencer have "enraged people to the point of violence," Mr. Eckley. I can't think of one because there is none. Perhaps, Mr. Eckley, you should remind those people who threatened your hotel, no doubt stirred up by grievance mongers like CAIR, that we live in America where differing political views are given the opportunity to express themselves. Familiar with that? It's called the First Amendment, something they don't have in Sharia-compliant countries.

Here's the contact information:

Steve Eckley's phone number is 720-318-4238.

Perry Slams Romney: "I Need To Say Whatever I Need To Say For Whatever Office I’m Running For"

From The O'Reilly Factor tonight, video from Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit:

Doing a quick Google search, I can't seem to find those exact words, but that's certainly the way Flip Romney acts. Remember what he said during the last debate, when he first denied, then admitted to hiring illegal aliens to work on his landscaping.

Flip Romney today would not endorse the reforms proposed by Ohio Governor John Kaisch on government employee unions, though he did endorse it in June (flop). Erick Erickson nails it:

Typically, when a politician stands for nothing except his own election, he winds up not getting elected.

Which is why Mitt Romney does not deserve to be the 2012 GOP Nominee.

Perry is quoted at The Weekly Standard on Ohio:

"As a true conservative, I stand with Gov. Kasich in promoting S.B.5 for fiscal responsibility and job creation in Ohio," Perry said in a statement to CNN. "Gov. Kasich and the Republican leadership of Ohio are to be commended for their efforts."

Added Perry, "My record as a pro-jobs governor is clear and you don't have to wonder where I stand."

Thuggish Obama Regime Punishes Media Who Do Not Fawn Over The Anointed One

Add the following to reporters who got kicked off Obama's plane because their papers endorsed his opponent, veteran White House correspondents who get snubbed for questions, as well as invitations to the White House Christmas Party and Correspondent's Dinner, or local reporters who tape protesters of the Dictator President during a fundraiser.

Probably as a result of that last point, only Washington media, no local media, covered the Fundraiser-in-Chief's money grab lunch in his ATM known as San Francisco today (SFGate - Joe Garafoli).

President Obama is scheduled to appear before hundreds of donors at a $7,500-a-plate noontime fundraiser today at San Francisco's W Hotel - but not a single local reporter will be allowed inside to cover his only stop in the area, the White House said Monday.

Coverage instead is being restricted to a small pool of Washington-based reporters - a move that is a sharp departure from the practices of past administrations, political observers said.

Three former top White House press aides called the move insular and politically short-sighted. And some press watchers said it is hypocritical for an administration that Obama promised would be "the most transparent in history."

The White House declined Monday to say why no local reporters would be allowed to attend today's event, nor whether the ban on local media was part of a new national policy.

"As per usual, the White House traveling press pool will cover the President's remarks at his Bay Area campaign event and a transcript of his speech will be circulated to local and national media outlets," White House spokesman Adam Abrams wrote in an e-mail response to The Chronicle.

....Until recently, The Chronicle and other Bay Area papers including the Oakland Tribune and the San Jose Mercury News regularly served as local pool reporters in their home regions, feeding coverage of events to other media. Local journalists generally know big-monied donors and political players best.

Nicolle Wallace, a former press secretary to Republican President George W. Bush, called the ban "idiotic ... inexplicable on the politics side, let alone the press side."

Closer to home in DC, the thuggery against non-lapdog media continued, as Vice President Joe Bite Me wants an investigation launched into Human Events Editor Jason Mattera, who asked Bite Me last week about his demagoguery of rape for political gain. Bite Me took great exception to the question, telling Mattera "don't screw around with me." (The Hill, via Human Events).

Joe Biden’s office has complained to the Senate press gallery about a confrontation the vice president had with a conservative journalist last week on Capitol Hill.

Biden aides asked whether Senate rules were broken in the wake of the contentious exchange between the vice president and the reporter.

Jason Mattera, who works for Human Events, a conservative magazine, used a pretext to catch Biden off guard in a Senate hallway and grill him on claims the vice president has made about jobs legislation.

Biden’s office has also contacted the standing committee of correspondents, which oversees the gallery, regarding whether Mattera broke the rules by ambushing him.

Of course, the Hill has to put their spin on the coverage. Biden is just pissed off because he was asked a real question, not lobbed a softball as he's used to from the lapdogs. Not only did Bite Me look like a jackass, he had egg all over his face when it was shown that the claim he made about rapes being on the rise is not true.

What was that about "transparency," again?

Dictator Obama Violates Constitutional Separation Of Powers, Enacts Mortgage Plan By Executive Order, Promises More

No wonder Richard Milhous Obama is embracing the squatters known as "Occupy Wall Street," because he is acting just as lawless as they are.

Despite the fact that the Senate GOP, as well as some Democrats, have defeated his jobs tax increase bill, Obama has decided to circumvent Congress and enact part of that bill by executive order (Yahoo News).

President Barack Obama unveiled a stopgap plan Monday to ease the bite of the real estate crisis for cash-strapped homeowners while attacking Congress for blocking spending to create more jobs.

"These steps aren't a substitute for the bold action we need to create jobs and grow the economy, but they will make a difference," Obama said.

Thwarted by Republican opposition to his bigger jobs and stimulus package, Obama has shifted tactics by looking for action he can take without congressional approval to provide at least modest economic relief.

"So I'm here to say to all of you... that we can't wait for an increasingly dysfunctional Congress to do its job. Where they won't act, I will," Obama said.

Regime Propaganda Minister Jay Carney is saying we should expect more of this unconstitutional behavior (Politico).

Didn't Obama take an Oath of Office to "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America?" They why is he in violation of it?

If this had been George W. Bush or any other Republican, Democrats would be screaming "impeachment." Instead, BDS afflicted Democrats like the Alexandria VA town drunk Jim Moron encourage this kind of behavior when it comes to pushing socialism on America.

So where is the GOP House leadership on this thwarting of Constitutional Separation of Powers?

UPDATE: Astroturfing for Obama 2012 mass e-mail says the Dicktator in Chief will violate the Constitution some more because #we can't wait.

Well, we can't wait for 1/20/13, or better yet, We Can't Wait to....

OccupyWhatever Weekend Madness In Oakland, Philly; Plus A Musical Dedication For #OWS

"In some ways, they’re not that different from some of the protests that we saw coming from the Tea Party.." Richard Milhous Obama

Right...and if any of what we've seen so far from the Occupy Whatever movement had happened at a Tea Party, the media would never stop reporting it.

Zombie, S.F. Photojournalist extraordinaire, has posted another great essay, this time, of the Occupy Oakland squatters (h/t This Ain't Hell), who were ordered (but doesn't appear to have been enforced) to leave their camp in front of City Hall because their squalor has attracted rats.

Among some of Zombie's photos (below) of Occupy Oakland, there is drug usage....

(Duuuude, I had my hit of hash....Where's Jerry and the Dead at?)

and, Communism.

Gateway Pundit posted a video of the Oakland movement going into a Chase Bank location, screaming, knocking furniture over, and throwing deposit slips in the air....and no police are there to put a stop to it!

In this video I found on YouTube, it looks as if they tried to do the same at Wells Fargo, but they locked their doors.

Is it any wonder the City of Oakland has had a crime and murder problem? Especially when this kind of anarchy is not broken up.

Tania at Midnight Blue links to a piece that reports 15 Occupy Philly protesters were arrested for blocking the street outside police headquarters. At least Philadelphia tried to do something, compared to the feckless leadership in Oakland (or most Bay Area cities for that matter).

Sexual assaults in other locations, and dealing heroin while living with a six year old in the tent. Yeah, just like a Tea Party.

Really, it's nothing more than a gigantic temper tantrum by spoiled college age kids and greying hippies who never grew up anyway.

But I'm willing to be generous to the #OWS movement, and give them the following song dedication, courtesy of liberal Don Henley and the Eagles.

I turn on the tube and what do I see
A whole lotta people cryin' 'don't blame me'
They point their crooked little fingers ar everybody else
Spend all their time feelin' sorry for themselves
Victim of this, victim of that
Your momma's too thin; your daddy's too fat

Get over it
Get over it
All this whinin' and cryin' and pitchin' a fit
Get over it, get over it

You say you haven't been the same since you had your little crash
But you might feel better if I gave you some cash
The more I think about it, old Billy was right
Let's kill all the lawyers, kill 'em tonight
You don't want to work, you want to live like a king
But the big, bad world doesn't owe you a thing

Get over it
Get over it
If you don't want to play, then you might as well split
Get over it, get over it

It's like going to confession every time I hear you speak
You're makin' the most of your losin' streak
Some call it sick, but I call it weak

You drag it around like a ball and chain
You wallow in the guilt; you wallow in the pain
You wave it like a flag, you wear it like a crown
Got your mind in the gutter, bringin' everybody down
Bitch about the present and blame it on the past
I'd like to find your inner child and kick it's little ass

Get over it
Get over it
All this bitchin' and moanin' and pitchin' a fit
Get over it, get over it

Get over it
Get over it
It's gotta stop sometime, so why don't you quit
Get over it, get over it

RomneyCare Gives Healthcare To Illegal Aliens

Looks like Rick Perry was onto something when he started the questioning about Flip Romney hiring illegals to mow his lawn.

Look what the LA Times found....

The Massachusetts healthcare law that then-Gov. Mitt Romney signed in 2006 includes a program known as the Health Safety Net, which allows undocumented immigrants to get needed medical care along with others who lack insurance.

Uninsured, poor immigrants can walk into a health clinic or hospital in the state and get publicly subsidized care at virtually no cost to them, regardless of their immigration status.

The program, widely supported in Massachusetts, drew little attention when Romney signed the trailblazing healthcare law. But now it could prove problematic for the Republican presidential hopeful, who has been attacking Texas Gov. Rick Perry for supporting educational aid for children of undocumented immigrants in Texas.

"We have to turn off the magnet of extraordinary government benefits," Romney said at the recent Fox News-Google debate in Florida.
Looks like you turned the magnet on, Flip!

Liberal Misogynist & Hatemonger Bill Maher Attacks Michelle Malkin, Says She'd Name Her Vibrator "Obama"

It seems this creep can never hit rock bottom, because he just keeps digging (Newsbusters, h/t American Power).

Donald Douglas adds:
And, of course, I don't see Rachel Maddow, that great champion of the oppressed, putting up any objections. That's misogynist. Where's the progressive outrage?

Michelle's probably kicking with her family, enjoying her weekend. But look for another awesome roundup next week on how "tolerant" are these progressive hacks.

Keep up the fight, Michelle! I'm standing with you!

Same here Michelle, I stand with you too!

Just like the outbreak of racism at the Occupy Whatever squatter camps, this type of crap is overlooked, simply because Maher is a lib. Keep in mind he's also called Sarah Palin a "twat" and a "cunt." That's not all, here's what he's said about Herman Cain:

"You see, here's a good question about racism. I think people have been reluctant to say that Herman Cain is dumb and an idiot like Sarah Palin -- and we said it about her -- because they're afraid people [are going to say] 'you're just saying that because you're racist.' I'm not racist, I think he's dumb. I think he's really dumb because he didn't -- he didn't anticipate that if he was running for president people would ask him questions, about stuff," Maher told the panel.

Obviously Mr. Maher has been ignoring the news. Last week alone several so-called influential black commenters said in so many words that Cain is not black nor is he worthy of being black.

And on Friday, a MSNBC host questioned Mr. Cain's intelligence, saying he doesn't think the presidential candidate would be able to spell Iraq.

Yet, it was Maher who accused Cain's supporters, and the Republican party, of being the real racists because they view Cain as their "black friend."

"My black friend Herman Cain says racism is over and they should just suck it up. Thats my black friend [who] said that. So you know it's okay," Maher said in a sarcastic tone.

Here you go, Bill!  Just in time for Halloween

And libs claim to be such champions of women and minorities. For a guy with so much hate, it's a wonder Bill Maher hasn't choked on his own bile.

PROOF! Obama 2012 E-Mail Proves Iraq Withdrawal Was Political, Not Strategic

Yesterday, I had the feeling that Richard Milhous Obama's announced withdrawal of our troops from Iraq was purely political, timed for the 2012 election as a way of rallying his far-Left, anti-military, Code Pinko base.

This e-mail from Obama's campaign today proves it.

Friend --

I'm James Kvaal, the new policy director for President Obama's 2012 campaign. You'll be hearing from me occasionally about the President's policies and those of our opponents, and how we can all help bring about change for our country.

Yesterday, we accomplished one major change when President Obama announced that all American troops in Iraq will be home before the holidays.

With that action, the Iraq war will end. And one of the President's central promises will have been kept.

Both as Americans and as supporters of President Obama, this is something for us to reflect on, and be proud of.

Watch the video of the President's announcement -- then please pass this on:

The war in Iraq was a divisive, defining issue in our country for nearly nine years, and was the catalyst for many Americans to get involved in politics for the first time.

Now, thanks to the actions of this President, we can say that conflict is coming to a close.

The end of this war reflects a larger transition in our foreign policy as, in the President's words, "the tide of war is receding." The drawdown in Iraq has allowed us to refocus on the fight against al Qaeda, even as we begin to bring troops home from Afghanistan. And of course, this week also marked the definitive end of the Qaddafi regime in Libya.

These outcomes are an example of what happens when a leader sets a plan and sees it through. In the last campaign, the President committed to getting American troops home while leaving behind a stable and secure Iraq. You rallied around that vision, and now that promise has been fulfilled.

On behalf of this campaign and supporters of the President across the country, I want to thank the more than 1 million Americans who have served in Iraq, and all those who worked to make this possible.

James Kvaal
Policy Director
Obama for America

Notice that the word "victory" is missing. Because with Obama and the Democrats, the only victory they cared about was a political one, not one for the peace of the world and a better life for the Middle East. So no wonder this e-mail is all about Obama, and not the sacrifices our military have made, that Obama wants to use for political fodder.

Divisive? Yes it was. Who made it that way? People like Obama and the Democrats, who had a personal vendetta and hate for President Bush, and wanted to embarrass him politically, never mind what it meant to our troops, our national security, or combating terrorism. When it came to winning the war, via the surge in 2007, who opposed it? Obama and his Party of Treason. Just like Congressmen who attack and insult retired generals on border security, then send out fundraising e-mails saying the generals attacked them.

And you liberals, don't come here and tell me "Weeeeell, he got bin Laden!" No, those brave Navy Seals killed that bastard, not the golfer-in-chief.

Compare Obama vs. is all about him, the other gives credit to our military.

Everything is looked at in a political prism for Obama, and what helps him is more important than what is best for our nation.

Texas Congressman Disrespects Retired Generals In Congressional Hearing, Then Says In Fundraising Letter They "Attacked" Him

Last week, two retired US Generals, Barry McCaffery and Robert Scales, gave testimony to Congress about their findings on border security along the Texas/Mexico border.

In the last couple of years, there have been incursions by air and vehicle by the Mexican military, threats of violence from drug cartels, and one US citizen killed and his body unrecovered from Falcon Lake.

But Democrat Rep. Henry Cuellar of Laredo, TX took such offense to the generals' findings that he took the opportunity to show them utter disrespect in the Congressional hearing.

As a result of the piece above from Greta van Susteren, now Cuellar's office is using the clip above as a fundraiser, attacking Fox News and the generals for attacking...him (Rio Grande Guardian).

U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar’s re-election team has turned disparaging remarks about the Texas-Mexico border region by two retired generals into a campaign fundraising opportunity.

In an email sent to supporters on Tuesday, Jessica Hernandez, finance assistant for Texans for Henry Cuellar, highlighted the recent appearance of retired Gen. Barry McCaffrey and retired Army Maj. Gen. Robert Scales on Fox News.

...Hernandez responded with this message to supporters in her email:

“Last week two retired Generals appeared before a hearing on Capitol Hill to explain how they reached their finding that the border area of Texas was a war zone. After failing to answer the most basic questions about their compensation ($80,000 of tax dollars) and their methodologies, they turned to Fox News to attack Cong. Henry Cuellar for asking these basic questions,” Hernandez wrote.

“Now, with the help of Fox News personality Greta Van Susteren, they have launched an attack on Cong. Cuellar's integrity. They even went so far as to selectively edit the video to downplay the missing data and false conclusions.”

Hernandez asked supporters to help Cuellar “stop these lies and distortions” by clicking on a link to make an online financial contribution to his re-election campaign.

“These retired Generals refused to admit how much they were paid, did not know how many interviews were conducted, failed to interview local sheriffs and police chiefs, and provided only anecdotal evidence to reach the false conclusion that doing business in border counties is like ‘operating in a war zone’,” Hernandez wrote.

“As those of you who live in the border area, travel there or do business there know...this statement is 100 percent false and not based in reality.”

Hernandez then posted Cuellar’s response.

“Business on the border is booming. False, baseless attacks like this harm our public image and weaken our economy by spreading misinformation that might discourage companies from doing business along the border. As a lifelong resident of the border and a pro-business, pro-jobs Congressman, I will continue to fight back against these attacks on our community, our economy and our character,” Cuellar said.

Hernandez urged supporters to help Cuellar stand up to “outsiders” who are “using attacks on the border business community to further their own personal, political agendas.” She said contributions of $5, $10, $25, $100 or more could be made.

“Ms. Van Susteren and the retired Generals owe Cong. Cuellar an apology,” Hernandez wrote. “They attacked the border community with zero evidence, and now they are attacking the Congressman's character, honesty and integrity...again, with zero evidence.”

She added that it is “our community, our reputation and our economy at stake. Stand with Cong. Cuellar today.”

Hernandez concluded by providing a link to the Fox “attack” on Cuellar.

Hey Congressman, would you like some cheese with that Whine?

So who has their heads in the sand when it comes to the border....the generals or Cuellar.

Well, Cuellar doesn't have a problem with hispanic supremacist advocacy groups like LULAC or La Raza (translated: The Race), as seen in this 2007 Lou Dobbs clip.

In 2007, he attacked Webb County Sheriff Rick Flores for calling the Laredo border area a "war zone."

What was Cuellar's response to Mexican military incursions on the Texas border? In 2010, he said the federal government was "aware of the issue." When a Mexican military truck crossed the bridge in Laredo, Pro 8 reported:

Today we spoke to Congressman Henry Cuellar about the situation who says while he respects our counterparts across the border they must provide a better reason for the crossing, but he continues to support the troops being in Mexico.

Support the troops in Mexico? WTF? Looks like the Congressman has a real lackadaisical attitude, and shows more respect for the army of our southern neighbor than retired US Army generals assessing security for America.

This is a guy who needs to be defeated in 2012.

Black Cameraman Called A "Nigger" By Occupy Portland Leftist, Incident Confirmed By Squatter Guard

Well, well, well!

Remember how the Tea Party has been repeatedly called "racists," and accused of yelling racial slurs at Congressmen Andre Carson, John Lewis and the Congressional Black Caucus in March 2010?

The media went wall to wall with repeating that allegation.

The problem was, it NEVER HAPPENED.

But it did happen up at the leftist squatter camp known as Occupy Portland, and confirmed by "security" (Register Guard, via Gateway Pundit).

A man who displayed a handgun at Occupy Portland’s downtown encampment after a dispute with protesters has been arrested, police said in a statement Thursday.

The argument took place Wednesday afternoon when 32-year-old Jason C. Parker was challenged verbally by protesters after filming tents, police said. One of the protesters used a racial epithet against Parker, who is black, police said.

A witness said Parker was filming inside tents without permission and displayed the gun more than once after protesters at the camp displayed knives.

“He pulled his shirt halfway up and showed me he had a piece,” said Jason Kersten, who works in the camp’s security group. “This is a peaceful protest. You don’t bring a gun.”

Kersten acknowledged that someone used a racial epithet.

The N-word was used by some people in the camp,” he said.

So, I'm waiting to hear for condemnation on this attack by Andre Carson and the CBC, Nancy Pelosi, Richard Milhous Obama, the Obama Lapdog Media, and the Worst Person in the World, Keith "I'm Getting Paid Big Bucks To Lose Viewers" Olbermann.

So far, all I hear is crickets.

UPDATE: Tania at Midnight Blue sent a reminder in the comments section about another instance of Occupy Whatever racism, this one in her hometown of Philadelphia. She mentions it also in her post on Occupy Philly.

Apparently, some in Oakland are admitting their own racism at the rat-infested squalor they call their camp, days after the mayor told them to leave. No wonder Bay Area lib politicians are so feckless.

Obama Politicizes War: Leaving Iraq Just In Time For 2012

You know the decision to do this had nothing to do with politics, right? (Yahoo News).

President Barack Obama on Friday declared an end to the Iraq war, one of the longest and most divisive conflicts in U.S. history, announcing that all American troops would be withdrawn from the country by year's end.

Obama's statement put an end to months of wrangling over whether the U.S. would maintain a force in Iraq beyond 2011. He never mentioned the tense and ultimately fruitless negotiations with Iraq over whether to keep several thousand U.S. forces in Iraq as a training force and a hedge against meddling from Iran or other outside forces.

Instead, Obama spoke of a promise kept, a new day for a self-reliant Iraq and a focus on building up the economy at home.

"I can report that, as promised, the rest of our troops in Iraq will come home by the end of the year," Obama said. "After nearly nine years, America's war in Iraq will be over."

The question is, were the generals on the ground asked for their input, or was this a unilateral decision by Milhous Obama?

Make no mistake, this is purely political. The economy will not improve enough in a year's time, so he needs a distration. Leaving Iraq is a way for him to win back his Code Pinko, far-Left base that elevated him to the White House.

Is this going to create more of a vaccum, and send a message to Iran and al-Queda elements...come take over Iraq, America's leaving because I have an election to win? Is he also intent on overseeing the Muslim Brotherhood take over the Middle East?

NOW Hags OK With Biden's Uncivil Rape Comments

It's getting close to Halloween, and liberals are celebrating their second favorite holiday by sending Vice President Joe Bite Me out to scare America into demanding action on Obama's jobs excuse me, Tax Bill.

The Regime that promoted civility at the beginning of the year has gone from "pass this bill," to "pass this bill or rapes will happen, and you can thank Republicans for it."

Of course, the loyal feminazis at NOW are just fine with women being used in such a demeaning way by Bite Me (Daily Caller).

After one version of Obama’s jobs bill failed to overcome a Senate filibuster last week, the administration has been working to paint Republicans as the ones to blame, and Biden has done so forcefully.

“Well let me tell you, it’s not temporary when that 911 call comes in and a woman’s being raped if a cop shows up in time to prevent the rape,” Biden said Tuesday in Philadelphia, responding to opponents who have called the jobs bill a temporary fix.

“It’s not temporary to that woman … I wish these guys that thought it’s temporary, I wish they had some notion what it’s like to be on the other side of a gun. Or a 200 pound man standing over you telling you to submit. Folks, it matters. It matters!”

...According to NOW president Terry O’Neill, Biden’s rape concern is well-founded.

“I think he is concretely worried that with fewer police on the beat crime will go up,” O’Neill told The Daily Caller. “I think he is imagining the lives of real people. That is not a device — that is an actual ability to know what everyday people go through.”

O’Neill said the administration’s job creation initiative is essential to everyday Americans — and that obstructionists in Congress are being careless with other people’s lives.

“The people that are blocking jobs legislation really don’t care, and don’t have an idea of what its like,” O’Neill said. “They don’t have an idea what it’s like to have your child in a classroom of 45 kids and one teacher — and that is what we are looking at if these kinds of jobs are not restored.

“They don’t have a clue what its like to be threatened with rape, and there are not enough police officers to come and prevent it or stop it.”

“I think it is absolutely legitimate to demand that these uncaring un-empathic legislators get a clue,” O’Neill added.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney attempted to clarify Biden’s statements on Thursday. “It would be hard to find anyone who doesn’t agree with the simple equation that fewer police officers on the street has a direct effect on the crime rate,” Carney said. “That’s the point he was making, and that’s a point that the president absolutely does share.”

The problem is, as the DC points out, rapes have been on the decrease.

According to data from the Federal Bureau of Investigation — highlighted by The American Thinker – forcible rapes committed in the United states decreased from 42.3 for every 100,000 people in 1991 to 27.5 in 2010.

Which, if anyone was confused as to their purpose, should show the real purpose of the phony women's organization like NOW.  All NOW does is agitate for ever liberal cause in the most shrill, shrieking manner, with gals who resemble the ex-wife from Hell. I can attest after suffering through hearing Terry O'Neill speak at last Saturday's "Resist We Much" rally.

If NOW really cared about women, they would object to them being used for political purposes as Bite Me and the Regime does. But as loyal liberals, for every omelet, you must break a few eggs.

Gadhafi Killed: Will Whoever Fills The Void Be Worse?

As with the so-called "freedom movement" in Egypt, many have been leery of the uprising in Libya, especially with news that al-Queda related individuals may be involved.

Today, the big fish, Libyan Dictator Moammar Gadhafi was captured and killed by the rebels, and paraded with echoes of machine gun fire and shouts of "Allah Akbar."

The lapdog media was having Major League Obasms today over the killing of the dictator, as they're so desperate to make the failed current President look like a success. Rush Limbaugh gave examples today.

The worst GOP Presidential candidate in a generation, John McLame, also gave Obama credit, even though the President didn't do the heavy lifting.

As bad as Gadhafi was, and he was bad, is this something that we'll be celebrating when the vaccum is filled?

From Investors Business Daily:

If there is one thing that we ought to know by now, it's that getting rid of a dictator like Gadhafi is the easy part. Gadhafi was a monster, but a known quality. What's hard is ensuring that what comes after isn't worse.

The cheers heard as Gadhafi's body was dragged through the streets are mere echoes of those that followed the downfall of the Shah of Iran in 1979 and, more ominously, the ouster of Hosni Mubarak in Egypt this past spring.

Everyone knows what happened when the cheering ended. Societies having neither freedom nor institutions became sitting ducks for Iran's mullahs and Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood.

Will a Jeffersonian democracy follow in Libya? It's not likely, in the absence of an assertive American role.

The U.S. contributed $1.1 billion in war-fighting and humanitarian aid to Libya's revolution, more than all the other NATO nations combined. Democracy talk aside, the U.S. has a big stake in this revolution and an obligation to push for a pro-U.S. result.

Sadly, these days a strong U.S. presence is lacking.

...The U.S. commitment to Libya may not be high enough to send it a MacArthur, but after giving Libya $1.1 billion in aid, and apparently sending in the vital drone strike that led to Gadhafi's capture, it must use its diplomatic muscle to ensure a favorable result.

The American people are tired of capricious engagements with weak goals around the world. The U.S. looks like a global patsy if it engages in costly wars only to buy worse tyrants to threaten it.

If Libya seemed bad during Gadhafi's reign, its remaining weapons stockpiles, oil profits and proximity to terrorists can only lead to a worse result. We need to make sure it doesn't.

"Misleading" -- New Perry Ad Nails Romney

Texas Governor Rick Perry released this ad today going after the inconsistency seen too often in his 2012 rival, former Massachusetts Governor Flip Romney.

On that same note, the Wall Street Journal wrote today on how Perry, Rick Santroum and Newt Gingrich finally went after Romney on RomneyCare:

"This is something that was crafted for Massachusetts," Mr. Romney responded in Las Vegas, repeating his stock answer. "It would be wrong to adopt this as a nation." The former Governor says Mr. Obama's plan "must be repealed" and then states can experiment with their own health-care solutions.

Federalism is a virtue, yet Mr. Romney did previously promote his plan as a model until Democrats took his advice. "How much of our health-care plan applies to other states? A lot," he wrote in these pages in 2006. Mr. Romney repeated those sentiments in the hardcover version of his book "No Apology," though he cut them from the paperback.

But the larger and more important point is that Mr. Romney continues to defend his Massachusetts plan as a success for precisely the same reasons that President Obama says it should be imposed on all states. In reality, the Massachusetts plan is not a success and its problems are the best refutation of the duo's arguments.

...Mr. Romney has every right to cling to theories that were flawed in conception and have proven false in practice, though the rest of the GOP field has the responsibility to challenge his canned answers. The mental contortions that his health-care record requires need to be dissected—the way Mr. Obama will do if Mr. Romney is the nominee—to give GOP voters a chance to weigh the political liabilities that his candidacy might pose in 2012.

Or, if he is the nominee and if he is elected, to drive him to reject the RomneyCare model in favor of patient-centered, market-driven health-care reform. Mr. Romney laid out such a plan in Ann Arbor in May, even as he now evinces an unaffordable faith that government must pay to reduce the uninsured rate. But the uninsured rate would fall as costs were disciplined through choice and competition in a truly reformed system that Mr. Romney says he favors everywhere except Massachusetts.

Mr. Obama's unbridled expansion of government means that the election will present the electorate with the largest philosophical choice since 1980: To continue the trend toward a larger and growing government and the ever-higher taxes to pay for it, or to modernize the 20th century's broken government institutions. Republicans do not want to wake up in 2012 to discover that they have nominated someone who is unprepared, and maybe unwilling, to lead the reform of government that America needs.

Record Deportations Of Illegals By Obama? Don't Believe It

The lapdog media is reporting the Obama Regime has deported a record number of illegal aliens (The Hill).

The U.S. deported more people — nearly 400,000 — who were in the country illegally in fiscal 2011 than ever before, according to the latest numbers released Tuesday by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) bureau.

President Obama’s administration touted the startling figures as evidence of its progress in stopping illegal immigration, a record that could help the president win back independent voters who abandoned Democrats in the 2010 midterm elections.

But those numbers are suspect, based on information revealed when the 2010 deportation numbers came out (Numbers USA).

The Administration has claimed that nearly 393,000 illegal aliens were deported in the last fiscal year, setting a new one-year high, but at least 19,000 of the 393,000 were actually deported in 2009. The larger number also represents another 6,500 who were part of a repatriation program that would normally fall under Border Patrol statistics.

When ICE realized that it wouldn't meet its 2009 numbers, officials also encouraged foreign nationals to accept quick deportations in exchange for a clean immigration record. The voluntary returns were also counted as deportations for the department.

So there's some "cooking of the books" in order to make Richard Milhous Obama look tougher on illegal immiration than he really is.

Don't forget also, Obama even admitted these numbers were "deceptive."

Cult-Like Scenes From Occupy Philly

Tania at Midnight Blue shot the following video of the squatters called Occupy Philly the other day.

Creepy! I seem to recall, in the video of John Lewis being turned away from speaking to the group in Atlanta, the group was doing this same repeating of small phrases. You'd wonder if this is becoming cult like.

Or perhaps Bob Hope had the answer:

Speaking of Philadelphia, I saw this sign from the "Resist We Much" rally in DC the other day, where some of the unions expressed their displeasure with Mayor Nutter, who last I checked was a liberal Democrat.
