Tonight, in an interview on KMJ’s “The Chris Daniel Show,” Gibson CEO Henry Juszkiewicz confirmed that the US government wanted Gibson guitars to use foreign labor over American labor:
CHRIS DANIEL: Mr. Juszkiewicz, did an agent of the US government suggest to you that your problems would go away if you used Madagascar labor instead of American labor?
HENRY JUSZKIEWICZ: They actually wrote that in a [inaudible].
CHRIS DANIEL: Excuse me?
HENRY JUSKIEWICZ: They actually wrote that in a pleading.
CHRIS DANIEL: That your problems would go away if you used Madagascar labor instead of our labor?
HENRY JUSKIEWICZ: Yes
So basically, Gibson is supposed to lay off American workers in Nashville and Memphis so that cheap labor in Madagascar can do their work. No word was given if Gibson was told to unionize, which are the only American workers Obama and the Democrats love.
Another question....why isn't the music community up in arms about the Regime's thuggery on one of the most iconic instrument makers in America? Are some musicians so stoned out and such Obama drones that they don't think another instrument maker won't be next?
This is another reason I won't watch this speech next week. It's clear the only American job Obama wants to save is his own. He certainly doesn't care about the workers at Gibson.
Gibson's CEO says the company has lost between $2 to $3 million because of the raid.
