President Barack Obama will hold a press conference at the White House at 11 a.m. on Friday, White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer announced on Twitter. Debt-ceiling and deficit negotiations with congressional leaders ended Thursday without an agreement.
Since he's been banned indefinitely at MSNBC, someone needs to get Mark Halperin on the air, maybe at Fox, to give commentary.
What I'm guessing, is that Obama is essentially going to come out and say he doesn't need Congress; he's raising the debt ceiling anyway. It's already in the works, which would mean Obama is acting against the limits placed on him by the Constitution and thus breaking his Oath of Office.
Question is, who will start impeachment proceedings?

It's all political: Marathon Pundit writes that the day after the debt ceiling is eclipsed, Obama has a fundraiser planned for Chicago on August 3rd, to celebrate his 50th birthday (which is the next day).
