John McCain, You Little Troll....You Suck!

Thanks to

First, those of us who are Tea Party members, supporters are "hobbits," now, Senator John McClame (aka the worst candidate for President since Bob Dole) attacks the great Senator Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania Ave/the Morning Call-Colby Itkowitz).
Former GOP presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, who this week referred to Tea Party lawmakers as "hobbits," publicly criticized Pennsylvania's Pat Toomey Sunday during an unusual unscripted debate on the Senate floor.

McCain, who appeared to be having a great 'ol time during a back and forth with Democrat Majority Whip Sen. Dick Durbin, referred to Toomey and those who share his views as "terrible."

Durbin brought up Toomey saying, "One of the senators on the floor here from the state of Pennsylvania has come in and said defaulting on the debt is not that big a deal. It can be, quote in his words, easily managed. Does the senator from Arizona agree with that thinking?"

Here's how McCain responded:

"As the senator may know, I came to the floor a couple of days ago and made that comment, and the senator from illinois and I are in agreement, point number one. you can prioritize -- I think the senator and every economist I know literally would agree. .... Number one: passage through the United States Senate of a balanced budget amendment to the constitution of the United States, as i said before, is not fair to the American people because, because the terrible obstructionists on this side of the aisle, the terrible people, their flawed philosophical views about the future of america is not going to allow to us get 20 additional votes from your side, assuming that you get all 47 since it requires 67 votes to pass a balanced budget amendment to the constitution. so i think it was not only wrong assessment.

Obstructionists? This jerkoff McCain is tougher on conservatives (Tea Party, J.D. Hayworth, Pat Toomey) than he ever was running against Richard Milhous Obama in 2008. I guess John has been hanging out too much with his daughter, Meghan "Miss Piggy" McLame.

Let's face it. The only bright thing this dim bulb ever did was to nominate Sarah Palin as his running mate. The only problem was, she should have been at the top of the ticket because she's the only one who had any fire or desire to win. McLame all but surrendered the election a month prior to it happening.

So if I'm a hobbit because I oppose more out-of-control government spending, fine. Then screw you, John McLame, you pathetic little troll! You should just end it now and become a Democrat since you act like one anyway, or just retire early and live off Cindy's beer money.

Debt Ceiling Deal Reached....

Or, as it should be called, The Great Cave-In (AP)

Ending a perilous stalemate, President Barack Obama and congressional leaders announced historic agreement Sunday night on emergency legislation to avert the nation's first-ever financial default. The dramatic resolution lifted a cloud that had threatened the still-fragile economic recovery and rattled global markets.

The agreement would slice at least $2.4 trillion from federal spending over a decade, a steep price for many Democrats, too little for many Republicans.

The deal, with scant time remaining before Tuesday's deadline for paying government bills, "will allow us to avoid default and end the crisis that Washington imposed on the rest of America," Obama said.

Note the phrase $2.4 trillion over a decade. These cuts won't materialize. This phony commission that will oversee what is to be cut is a joke. As I said earlier today, it's just a way to kick the can further down the road.

Of course, Obama runs out to the microphones to give another speech, never mind he didn't come up with the plan. Most of the cuts will hit...guess who?????....the Defense Department (h/t Gateway Pundit).

Contrary to Obama's words, this was a crisis imposed on America by him and his party, and another one he used to frighten America into taking quick action.

Cut Cap & Balance was the correct path, as well as the Ryan Plan.

Boehner's Great Surrender--Compromise With Libs Means America Gets Screwed

Remember this promise from House Speaker John Boehner back in April of this year? (Katie Pavlich - Townhall)
Boehner released an op-ed today, saying cutting billions of dollars is not enough and that in the next round, trillions will be on the chopping block, fully backing Rep. Paul Ryan's Path to Prosperity as the plan moving forward.

The agreement is far from perfect, and we need to do much more if we're serious about creating new jobs, fixing our spending-driven debt crisis, and ending the uncertainty that continues to plague our economy.

That's why this week, we'll advance our fight from saving billions of dollars to saving trillions of dollars as we turn our full attention to the GOP budget outlined by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan, R-Wis., aptly titled "The Path to Prosperity."

After days of fearmongering by liberals and the Obama Regime, the GOP leadership is about to cave and give the Overspender-in-Chief a $3 trillion debt limit increase, just in time for his August 3rd fundraising birthday party (Politico).
Quoting a figure of $3 trillion though declining to provide details, McConnell confirmed Sunday morning on CNN’s “State of the Union” that both sides were close to a deal. “We’ve made dramatic progress in that direction,” he told Gloria Borger.

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), speaking on the same CNN show, also said a deal was close, “If there’s a word that would right here that would sum up the mood, it would be relief. … default is far less of a possibility now than it was a day ago.”

The proposal builds on elements of a House-passed bill credited with saving $917 billion over the next 10 years and raising the ceiling by $900 billion in two increments that should carry the government through the end of this year.

In the interim, a new joint committee would be charged with coming up with an estimated $1.5 trillion in additional deficit reduction, less than targets set in the House measure but still judged sufficient to match Treasury’s remaining borrowing needs to get though the 2012 election year.

I don't trust a joint committee to come up with cuts. It's just a way of "kicking the can down the road" so Boehner can look like he actually did something.

We're about to get screwed!  That's not what the election last November was about.

It's time for new leadership in the House and Senate. We can't have these eunuchs like Boehner and McConnell talking tough and then caving at the last minute to make deals that will only increase the deficit even more.

Bumper Stickers on Backpacks of Hippies In Grocery Store

Thanks to Donald Douglas for the link!

I shot this photo on my cell phone about an hour ago of some granola crunching, Obama Leftist type at the local grocery store in the Reston/Herndon, VA area just about an hour ago.

...with a 2012 Re-elect bumper sticker and the idiotic "Co-exist (with the terrorists)" bumper sticker....on a backpack!?!?!?!?!

For the benfit of those who are swayed by the "Coexist" sticker, here's an explanation found off the web of the fallacy of this message.

There's some great bumper stickers in the area.  This is the same store where I saw the following about a month ago.

Final FReep Supporting The Troops At Walter Reed Army Medical Center

Thanks to Tania @ Midnight Blue for the link!

This evening was the 328th Friday night that my fellow FReepers of the DC Chapter of FreeRepublic held a rally outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center supporting the members of our military and countering the hateful voice of the anti-military Left.

Collage of signs at rallies outside Walter Reed Army Medical Center since 2005 (thanks to TroopRally & MrsTR)

Since March 2005, groups like Code Pinko and other so-called "anti-war" hippies have held anti-military rallies masquerading as "vigils" outside the hospital where military members have been wounded in the War on Terror. When they first started, the terrorist supporters held signs that read "Maimed for a Lie" and "Enlist Here and Die for Halliburton."

Tonight was one of the last rallies, as Walter Reed is closing down and moving from its present location.  Some of those in attendance were from Florida, and even a couple from California.

Here are some of the FReepers.

Here's some of the losers down the street....

A supporter of Virginia Congressman "Jihad" Gerry Connolly, from Maryland?

A security guard came over to the hippies to talk to them about something they were doing, so I went over. Frankly, I've had more intelligent conversations with walls than hippies.

Near the end of the evening, FReepers greeted wounded warriors returning from dinner with sparklers.

It was an opportunity to thank the troops for their service. They appreciated the support from the FReepers.

My buddy Jonn Lilyea was also there.  Here's his report at This Ain't Hell.

AWOL Muslim Conscientious Objector Arrested For New Ft. Hood Terror Plot--Has Links To Anti-War Groups, War Resisters

Ft. Hood was the target for another terrorist attack, from an AWOL Muslim conscientious objector, Naser Jason Abdo (KXAN 36 - Austin).
Pfc. Naser Jason Abdo, an AWOL soldier from Fort Campbell in Kentucky, was arrested by the Killeen, Texas, Police Department near Fort Hood and remains in custody at the Killeen jail.

Abdo, 21, was found with weapons, explosives and jihadist materials at the time of his arrest, a senior Army source confirms to Fox News. He was arrested at around 2 p.m. Wednesday after someone called authorities to report a suspicious individual.

Eric Vasys, a spokesman with the FBI's San Antonio Office, said authorities found firearms and bomb making components inside Abdo's motel room. Sources also say Abdo was attempting to make a purchase at Guns Galore in Killeen, the same ammunition store where Maj. Nidal Hasan purchased weapons that were allegedly used to gun down 13 people and wound 30 others at the base on Nov. 5, 2009.

Sources said Abdo had enough materials to make two bombs, including 18 pounds of sugar and six pounds of smokeless gunpowder -- a possible trigger for an explosive. A pressure cooker was also found. Another counterterrorism source said the bomb making materials and methodology came "straight out of Inspire (a terrorist magazine) and an Al Qaeda explosives course manual."

Abdo was also being investigated for possessing child pornography on a pubic computer.

Yes, Abdo was a Muslim, NOT a member of any Christian denomination. He had sought conscientious objector status for that and, as a result, was linked to the anti-war Left, who are trying to now downplay their links to him.

If you go to This Ain't Hell, Jonn Lilyea and TSO were onto this guy back last fall, when he applied for CO status and he was a client of James Branum, a lawyer who represents these claims.

Abdo was linked on various war resister websites,

as well as this one page of Iraq Veterans (Many of Whom Didn't Serve There) Against The War.

Abdo even was at this event with IVAW's Selena Coppa,

Commenters at TAH noted that Abdo's Facebook page, which has since been taken down, is reported to have several IVAW members listed as "friends," but Jose Vasquez of IVAW says "he’s not a member and never has been." Abdo also was reportedly Facebook friends with Gordon Duff of Veterans Today, as well as a couple of people linked to the Under the Hood Cafe in Killeen, TX. This "cafe" is a war resister hangout in the style of the Jane Fonda "FTA" (F** the Army) coffee houses.
The Jawa Report also found Abdo was in New York the same time as a pro-Bradley Manning Rally (Wikileaks leaker) was held and had commented on it.

There's probably going to be more coming down the pike where all this comes from.  It looks like media like KXAN in Austin are ignoring these ties.

Boehner Is Surrendering On Debt....

This is not good (Politico, h/t Mark Levin via Facebook).
The shape of this potential compromise meshes major elements of the proposals offered in recent weeks by House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), according to Democratic officials familiar with the negotiations.

Under the possible compromise, Congress could still get a second crack at voting on the debt limit within months. But rather than linking the vote to Congress approving the recommendations of a new 12-member committee — as it would be in Boehner’s bill — Democrats prefer McConnell’s proposal that allows President Barack Obama to lift the debt ceiling unless two-thirds of both chambers override his veto of a disapproval resolution, the officials said.

To force action on a deficit reduction package, the White House would agree to strengthen the mechanism that compels Congress to pass the special committee’s recommendations, the officials said. The officials would not detail proposals for a so-called trigger that acts as an incentive for both parties to bargain in good faith and reach agreement.

I heard on the drive home that Boehner is practically twisting arms behind closed doors to get votes for this surrender masquerading as "compromise."

If that's the case, then Boehner should be forced to step aside, and someone with a pair should take his place. This is the kind of crap we reacted against with the Democrats, all the secret, backroom deals. We shouldn't put up with it from Boehner.

President Thin-Skinned "Rick-Rolls" Critic Of His Endless Press Conferences On Twitter

This current Regime is showing just how thin-skinned they are when it comes to critics (Gizmodo via FreeRepublic).
Nero YouTubes while Rome burns! The White House, probably realizing the entire country is mega-financially-screwed anyway, just rickolled a Twitter critic who complained about the "entertainment value" of an Obama briefing. Retaliation? Watch this annoying video, you jerk!

You might think the official mouthpiece of the United States of America indulging in well-worn meme prankery is a little unbecoming of the office, but hey—they're no strangers to love. Obama knows the rules, and so do I. A full tax hike's what he's thinking of—You wouldn't get this from any other guy. He just wants to tell you how he's feeling. Gotta make you understand: don't annoy the White House while they're trying to save the global financial system. Next time, it'll be Goatse.

Now we know what's going on at the White House, and it sure ain't coming up with plans to cut spending or present a balanced budget.

Those Who Cry Loudest For Civility (Democrats, Liberals) Are Using Heated, Hate-Filled Rhetoric Against Those Who Oppose Obama & More Big Spending

Remember back in January, the cries and lectures about how our rhetoric had become overheated, leading up to the tragic shooting in Tucson, AZ back in January?

It appears that those who screamed the loudest about "civility" are using in the debt ceiling debate some of the same uncivil rhetoric they accused conservatives and the Tea Party of.

Let's start with Stingy Hoyer of Maryland (Michelle Malkin):
“I think we’re playing Russian roulette with the nation’s credit-worthiness. Unfortunately, all the chambers seem to be loaded on the House side. They want to shoot every bullet they have at the president.”

Never mind that Stingy said back in January:

"I think we need to all take cognizance of that and be aware that what we say can, in fact, have consequences."

Then there's "Dingy" Harry Reid, the cowboy poet, who thinks those of us in the Tea Party are not real Americans. Yeah, only union members are, especially when they can be called on a dime on election day to swing the election in Dingy Harry's favor.

Then there's tax cheat and race baiter Charlie Rangel, who calls Republicans "hostage takers" who "don't care about our country."

Nancy Pelosi, who was unnerved by "swastikas" supposedly carried by Tea Party members, said (
"Budget deficit is an excuse for the Republicans to undermine government, plain and simple. They don’t just want to make cuts, they want to destroy. They want to destroy food safety, clean air, clean water, the Department of Education. They want to destroy your rights."

Seems to me Obamacare and bigger government proposed by liberal Democrats like you is what's destroying our rights, Bella-Pelosi.

Then we have the Alan Grayson in a skirt named Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (aka "Thunderlips"). The racist DNC chair said (Gateway Pundit):
“This is not leadership. This is almost like dictatorship. I know they want to force the outcome that … their extremists would like to impose. But they are getting ready to spark panic and chaos, and they seem to be OK with that. ...They start the day with trying to incite their caucus with, essentially, violent movie clips – pushing their people to inflict pain and hurt people.”
Notice that Wasserman-Schultz, who is so concerned about violence and misogyny, has been silent in allegations of Democrat David Wu having sex with a teenager.

Just like we saw two years ago, the fear mongering and uncivil tone has reached a fever pitch, because liberal Democrats know they're losing the debate.

The Shameless Use Of Reagan By The Obama Regime To Justify Raising The Debt Ceiling, Taxes

President Ronald Reagan's name and legacy is being used shamelessly in the debt ceiling debate by the same liberal Democrats who used every opportunity over the last 30 years to attack him in the most uncivil manner.

Such as this e-mail from Obama's 2012 campaign hack Jim Messina:

You'd think this would be fairly straightforward. For many years, regardless of party affiliation, presidents have asked Congress to do this when it's been necessary -- and every time, Congress has acted. Just as an example, Congress granted Ronald Reagan's request to raise the debt ceiling 18 different times.

Let's look at the facts, via ARRA News Service:

•Reagan’s debt hikes were comparatively small and usually were temporary (thus the high number of changes)
•Obama in two years has already added a trillion dollars more debt than Reagan did in eight
•Total debt hike under Reagan ($1.865-T) was almost identical to under Clinton ($1.805-T)
•As a percent of GDP, all later Presidents’ hiked total debt notably higher than under Reagan

Then there's the whole issue of tax increases, which Obama is holding a gun to America's head in order to get from Congress. Again, Reagan's "compromise" with Democrats in 1982 is being used to claim that even Reagan increased taxes.

But facts are stubborn things, as Yuval Levin points out in National Review Online. Levin even points out this passage from Reagan's autobiography, An American Life.

And you can bet if any tax increases were given to Obama, the "cuts" would be reneged upon, just like they were with Reagan.

Radtke: No Proposal Addresses The Fundamental Problem In DC--Too Much Spending

GOP Primary Candidate for US Senate Jamie Radtke writes the following on her blog while on the campaign trail. It is worth reading, even if you are not a Virginia resident.
I’m on the campaign trail today and in five minutes I will be driving through Cuckoo, Virginia. As you can guess, that about sums up where we are in Washington, D.C. I think it is official: the Washington Establishment is Cuckoo.

We have proposals from Speaker Boehner, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and the Gang of Six (and still no proposal from President Obama–which is probably a good thing given his track record), and NONE of the proposals do anything to address the fundamental problem: the spending orgy in Washington DC.

It isn’t providing leadership to suggest setting up another debt commission or abdicating your constitutional authority to the president. The only way to save the America we have always known is to insist on fundamental spending cuts with structural restraints – e.g., Cut, Cap and Balance – that will bring confidence back to the market and put it on stable footing. (M.I.M. note--all bold/italics my emphasis)

This is a call to arms for every patriot in Virginia and America. We need boat rockers in Washington D.C. who will fight for America’s economic freedom. Call Speaker Boehner, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor and Senate Minority Leader McConnell and tell them that there is no compromising when it comes to saving America. Make real and lasting cuts, make them now (not promised over ten years), and insist on structural reform with a balanced budget amendment.

And just importantly, ask Tim Kaine and George Allen where they stand! Do they back the Boehner/McConnell/Reid/Obama proposal that does nothing to save America’s economic freedom or do they stand with America?

Palin "It's The Spending, Stupid!" Plus, Obama Regime Has No Plan, Only Speeches

Sarah Palin was On The Record tonight with Greta Van Susteren (The Right Scoop).

The White House admitted today that, unlike the House Republicans, they have no plan to cut spending without raising the debt ceiling. To even ask if they have a plan, according to Minister of Propaganda Jay Carney, is "repeating a Republican talking point."

Instead, all Obama has is speeches, instead of plans. And Greta van Susteren mentioned the CBO said they could not score a speech by the President.

Reminds me of something Hillary Rotten Clinton said back in March 2008...and was she ever right.

"I think you'll be able to imagine many things Senator McCain will be able to say. He's never been the president, but he will put forth his lifetime of experience. I will put forth my lifetime of experience. Senator Obama will put forth a speech he made in 2002."

Third Mexican Military Incursion Into Texas This Year, This Time Near Donna, Texas

From KGBT Action 4 News.

Authorities are investigating yet another possible incursion by the Mexican Military.
On Tuesday, four military hummers from Mexico reportedly cross into the United States without authorization at the Donna-Rio Bravo International Bridge.

Action 4 news spoke to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Field of Operation Officers.

They confirm 33 soldiers riding in four hummers are now back in Mexico after crossing the Donna port of entry.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement processed the people and the vehicles.

An investigation has been launched.

This hasn't been the first time either. A Mexican military humvee has crossed the border in nearby Mission, TX back in February, as well as near Laredo last month.

Obama Speaks (Again!) In A Few Minutes -- What He'll Probably Say.... (UPDATE: Blames Bush Within First 30 Seconds) Boehner: Obama Wants A Blank Check

I'm not planning to watch, but I can tell you exactly what Obama will say tonight.
"My fellow Americans.  We are near an economic crisis based on a situation that I inherited when I came into office, and that could affect our ability to borrow more money.  I have done all I can to fix this mess, which is why I've been on your TV screen every other day, instead of the golf course or jetting off to Martha's Vineyard.  Now let me be clear.  We as a nation have to live within our means.  But that does not include having our grandparents eat dog food or sleep in a cardboard box, because those Republicans want to take Medicare and Social Security away from them, so they can give more tax breaks to corporate jet owners.  I've had to make sacrifices.  I haven't taken a vacation, I'm not holding a fundraiser for the next couple of days, and I haven't played golf all month.  What those mean Republicans won't do, is raise taxes on corporate jet owners.  What must happen requires shared sacrifice among all Americans.  Maybe the top two percent cannot afford a trip to Las Vegas, or a new corporate jet.  But sacrifice must be shared by all of us, so Michelle, the kids, Bo and I can take a few jets off to Hawaii for Christmas on your dime.

Thank you, and g*d damn America! I'm Richard Milhous Obama, and I approve this message."

(The proceeding was an unpaid advertisement for Re-Elect Obama 2012).

Like everything else from now until November 2012, this is a political speech.

UPDATE: The Whiner-in-Chief blamed George W. Bush within the first 30 seconds of his speech, never mind that he's been President for the last two years and six months.

He even quotes Reagan and also adds this morsel:

‘Most outside of Washington don’t know what the debt ceiling is’

We've heard this song before....

If I was still drinking and playing a drinking game listening to this speech, I'd have died from alcohol poisioning by now.

House Speaker John Boehner gave a great response to President Thin-Skinned:

"The President wanted a blank check six months ago, and he wants a blank check today. That is just not going to happen."

Last Year: NAACP Called Tea Party "Racist" -- This Year, Call Black Tea Party Members "Sellouts"

Remember last year, when the NAACCP (National Association for the Advancement of Certain Colored People) passed a resolution calling the Tea Party "racist," using a false claim that racial slurs were yelled at a Washington DC anti-Obamacare rally?

Here was proof from my camera that no racial slurs were yelled that day.

Well, this year, at least one NAACCP and Obama supporter called blacks who side with the Tea Party "sellouts." (P/Oed Patriot, via Gateway Pundit).

“These “sell-out negroes” wish they were white… They have no business speaking for and joining with racists who want to kick them back into slavery.”

450 Years? America was better 400 years ago?  American hasn't been a nation for 400 years.

"Black sellouts?"  So who are the real racists?

Rasmussen: Obama's "Strongly Disapprove" Highest Since November 2010; Voters Trust GOP By 10 Percent Over Dems On Economy

Despite his spin and blame in his press conferences, it looks as if voters aren't buying Richard Milhous Obama's snake oil, according to a new Rasmussen Tracking Poll.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 (see trends).

That’s the highest level of Strong Disapproval since last November.

...Overall, 45% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) at least somewhat disapprove.

Another Rasmussen survey shows voters give the GOP a ten point advantage in trust over who can best handle economic issues.

Boehner Wants Bipartisan Debt Ceiling Plan By 4 PM Today, Prepared To Act Alone Or Is He Surrendering?

So says the Speaker of the House on Fox News Sunday (Yahoo News).

Republican U.S. House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner promised to unveil a bipartisan deal to raise the debt ceiling. Republican leaders want to show progress by 4 p.m. EDT on Sunday, before trading gets under way in Asia, and have legislation to unveil on Monday.

"The preferable path would be a bipartisan plan that involves all the leaders, but it is too early to decide whether that's possible," Boehner told "Fox News Sunday."

"If that's not possible, I and my Republican colleagues in the House are prepared to move on our own," Boehner said.

You can blame Obama if the markets tank and our credit rating is lowered, because Obama's advisor, Bill Daley, says any short term plan will be vetoed.

But is Boehner showing signs of a yellow streak? ABC reports there's talk of a "grand bargain" that would allow for $3 trillion in cuts but an additional $800 billion in new tax revenue.

The latest development puts Speaker Boehner in his most precarious position yet: If President Obama accepts the original deal, how can he refuse him? But if Boehner accepts it, he is going to face a full-scale revolt from his own leadership team. I am told that Eric Cantor, Kevin McCarthy and Jeb Hensarling (the 2, 3, and 4 GOP leaders in the House) have all made it clear to Boehner they will not accept a deal that increases tax revenues by $800 billion.

If Boehner strikes such a deal with the president, he could lose more than 100 Republican votes in the House. It could ultimately cost him his Speakership. But it may be the only possible way to both avoid default and address the underlying debt crisis. The question is what it has always been: Could such a deal pass the House and Senate? Democrats won’t like it any more than Republicans, but a large number of Democratic votes would be necessary to pass it.

Erik Erickson has more from one Congressman whom he spoke to last night.

A House Republican who is in leadership called me tonight. He said what we are hearing about — the two tier plan — is “sh*t” and he’s blaming Boehner. He agrees that Boehner is getting nervous and wants a deal.

But this two tier plan seems to be the Republicans’ initial offer. Harry Reid is headed that way. Many Democrats want more.

So keep in mind for purposes of negotiations, House Republican leadership members are already referring to the starting point as “sh*t” and it will only get worse from here.

As Predicted: Failed Jazz Guitarist/Blogger Uses Oslo Terror To Smear Pamela Geller; Hamas-Linked CAIR Approves

Yesterday, I wrote the following about the Oslo terrorist suspect:
You can bet after that little nugget that Charles "Icarus" Johnson, the failed jazz guitarist / blogger, is going to escalate his personal jihad against Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller even more. That clown ("Icarus" Johnson) has spent the last almost four years trashing his former colleagues, accusing them of being linked to European neo-Nazis, in the fight against global jihad.

Well, that didn't take long. "Icarus" Johnson continued his personal vendetta against Geller yesterday with more smears against her, as Doug Ross @ Journal found out.

As if it couldn't get worse, the Hamas-linked CAIR (also unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation trial) tweeted Icarus' smear job.

So Charles "Icarus" Johnson can now be seen as a tool of CAIR.  Congratulations Icarus, your de-evolution to dhimmitude has been completed.

MORE: Robert Stacy McCain writes that the shooter was barred from posting at an online forum by Pamela Geller's group, SIOE.  So put that in your hash pipe and smoke it, Icarus!

Horror In Oslo, A Puzzling Suspect, & (Again) The Left Seeks To Demonize Christians / Conservatives, Etc

It was a horror yesterday that no one wants to see on the news.

A bombing in Oslo, outside government buildings, followed by a shooting at a youth summer camp on an island nearby.

Because of recent bomb plots, as well as outrage over the Mohammed cartoons, it was suspected that Islamic extremists were behind the attacks.

Then came the arrest of Anders Behring Breivik, a white, 32 year-old blonde man who is described as "right wing" and "Christian." Breivik, according to some accusations, had a problem with "Muliculturalism" and also Islamization. So far, the only clues about Breivik are a Twitter and Facebook account, which was created just a few days ago.

Mystifying as well is one news report saying two gunmen attacked the youth camp from two different directions.

Even though this horrific terror attack took place in Norway, the American Left is not wasting any opportunity to attack the conservative movement here in America. PunditPress, via Gateway Pundit, points to comments made at Firedoglake and DUh (Democrat Underground) where they attempt to link Breivik to Sarah Palin and

In the coming hours, as well as next few days, I think we're going to see that type of reaching for straws ratcheted up, even more than it did after the Tucson shooting. It will go further than attacking Sarah Palin and (possibly) the Tea Party. It will be used to indict anyone who dares to question Muslim radicalization and calls for securing the border.

The proof/ Some of Breivik's writings on a Danish website were listed at this one link I found at FreeRepublic. The poster wrote.
He (Brevik) quotes the web sites “Gates of Vienna”, “Jihad Watch”,,, Global Politician, If anyone on this site thinks these sites are fringe sites you are in the wrong place.

I've spent time with both Spencer and Geller and can tell you, they are not the people that Icarus Johnson and his little cult of Lizards portray them as.

I could go on as well about the intolerance towards Christianity displayed by the Left, especially how that is brought up in terms of Tim McVeigh (he was an atheist / agnostic, for the record). That intolerance will get ramped up again, from the same folks who tell us not to judge when it appears another Islamist has committed an act of terror.

On this note, Sister Toldjah wrote:
There is no global organized Christian terrorist network anywhere remotely near close to being on par with the Al Qaedas, Hamas’, Hezbollahs, Talibans, etc of the world. There just isn’t. No matter how hard they try to justify in their tiny minds their strained, incredible moral equations between mainstream Christianity and these mainstream Islamofascistic groups, they can’t. This is something we all need to keep in mind in the coming weeks as hardcore left, in concert with the mainstream media, double down on their efforts to paint the Norway terrorist as representative of Christian beliefs worldwide – something they would never do if the suspect was connected to Islamofascism in any way, shape or form. We’d be hearing lots of tempered “Let’s not rush to judgment” and “this isn’t representative of mainstream Islam” from mainstream media networks, pundits, commentators, etc. Yet, oddly enough, when the perp is suspected of having Christian ties, the exact opposite rule applies, as I have written about before:

But those facts don't matter to the American Left, when they have an agenda or a failed leadership to defend, and they won't stop at using a horrific act of terror to foist their theories through their media allies.

Boehner Walks From Debt Ceiling Talks After Obama Demands Higher Taxes; Obama Whines; Geithner Says 8/10, Not 8/2 Is "Drop Dead Date"

The big news in America this evening is that House Speaker John Boehner walked out of talks with Richard Milhous Obama on raising the debt ceiling, after Obama insisted on tax increases (Politico).
“Let me just say that White House moved the goal post,” Boehner said. “Discussion we’ve had at the White House have broken down for two reasons: first they insisted on raising taxes …” Boehner said. Secondly, he added, “they refused to get serious” about making “tough choices” on spending cuts.

The White House asked for $400 billion in additional revenue at the last minute, which was “disappointing,” Boehner said.

“Dealing with the White House is like dealing with a bowl of jello” Boehner said, adding that he’s not going to get into “partisan sniping.”

“If the White House won’t get serious, we will,” Boehner said.

The speaker also wrote the following letter to the GOP caucus.

President Thin-Skinned came out late this afternoon and whined, saying Boehner "didn't return my phone call." (Breitbart TV).

And did you hear the latest? Treasury Secretary Tim "Tax Cheat" Geithner is now moving the goal posts (Huffington Toast, via Weasel Zippers).

For months, markets have been girding themselves against the possibility that the U.S. will reach the limits of its borrowing ability on August 2 and default on its debts. But researchers at Barclays Capital think the real deadline may not be until a week later.

In a note published Friday, the Barclays Interest Rates Research team wrote that “the date on which the Treasury will run out of cash to pay its obligations might not be August 2; it might be around August 10 instead.”

Why the change? The note explains that previous projections showed the Treasury running out of money on the morning of Wednesday, August 3. On that day, it was predicted, the Treasury would need to spend $32 billion, including $22 billion in Social Security payments — and it was only projected to have $30 billion at its disposal.

That projection was made on July 13. But since then, the researchers say, the Treasury has taken in about $14 billion more than expected, and paid out about $1 billion less than expected. Hence, the deadline date might actually be August 10, a week later than previously believed.

The August 2 deadline has never been set in stone. When Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner announced in May that the federal debt limit had been reached, he said that the government could use “extraordinary measures” to extend borrowing authority until August 2 — and that this date could change “based on government receipts and other factors.”

What is apparent, along with the fact that Obama is not serious about balancing the budget, is this is all a farce being perpetrated by the White House in order to raise taxes and not question the process. They did it during the phony stimulus, Obamacare, and now.

GOP Hits Back On False Obama / Reagan Comparisons In Debt Ceiling Talks

Republicans have come out with a video telling the truth about Ronald Reagan, after the Democrat Party is hijacking the 40th President in order for them to get their tax increases on working Americans (The Hill).

So it's clear, Richard Millhous Obama is no Ronald Reagan.

There was also the poke at Chris Matthews and the thrill up his leg in there as well!

"Loofah Boy" Bill O'Reilly Compares Tea Party To 1960's Anti-American Radicals; Filibusters Over Guest Laura Ingraham

Thanks to Tea Party Patriots for linking on their Facebook page.

Bill O'Reilly proved again tonight why I quit watching him a long time ago.

The King of Bloviation ranted this evening on Tea Party congressmen who have pledged not to support a debt ceiling increase. In doing so (and viewing the video below, courtesy of The Right Scoop), he attacked the Tea Party with a low blow, comparing them to 1960's anti-American "Yippie" radicals.

Hey, Loofah Boy, the "Yippies" never went out of style. The philosophy of those 1960s radicals is the same one who took over the Democrat Party and teach at most of the college campuses in this nation today.

What's worse is how he practically filibustered over his guest, Laura Ingraham, not allowing her to speak while he does his best Chris Matthews impersonation, even saying that Ingraham wasn't smart on the debt issue.  Laura's right, O'Reilly is echoing the talking points of liberal elites in attacking the Tea Party as "radical," and she's got more sense on this issue than you do, Bill!

And don't go on about how "conservative" Tom Coburn is. He is only sucking up to Obama because they have a close friendship. If Coburn was sticking to his conservative principles, he and the rest of his gang would not be trying to push tax increases while hoping for cuts somewhere down the road. The Democrats have pulled that trick before (ask George H.W. Bush). Coburn and the other two Republicans are Charlie Brown, and the Democrats are going to pull a Lucy and take the football away when he tries to kick.

But what can you expect from Bill O'Reilly, who is so delusional he thinks one guy sets the nation's gasoline prices.

Anti-Palin Hack Andy Barr Quits Politico To Work For.....The Democrat Party

So he simply moving from their propaganda unit to the Party's front office, in Arizona (The Daily Caller).

A Politico reporter who often penned stories about Sarah Palin and other Republicans has quit journalism to work with the Democratic Party in Arizona, sources tell The Daily Caller.

That reporter, Andy Barr, has covered national politics for the publication since 2008. Barr leaving to help elect Democrats will likely fan the flames of critics who say Politico has a liberal bias.

It’s not exactly clear what his new job duties are. Barr wouldn’t say, but told FishbowlDC, which first reported that Barr was leaving, that he left Politico on “very good terms.” That report said Barr, who is from Phoenix, is taking a “political job,” but didn’t say where he is going.

Seems like moving into the Democrat Party apparatus has happened before with Politico alumni.
Barr is not the first Politico reporter to leave for a Democratic gig. Congressional reporter Jonathan Allen left Politico in 2009 to work as an aide to Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, a Florida Democrat, but he returned to Politico in 2010.

Politico’s editor-in-chief, John Harris, responded to questions about Barr’s departure, writing in an email that the website’s management does not “worry about someone’s personal ideology so long as it is understood that their responsibilities at POLITICO mean leaving personal views at the door.”

Andy did that, and had a very good reputation for professionalism with colleagues, sources, and readers,” he told TheDC.

So can John Harris explain why Barr wrote stories like this? (h/t and explanation at The Right Sphere):

Barr's anti-Palin bias was so bad he was caught manufacturing facts about the former Alaska Governor's "Don't Retreat, Reload" phrase.

How's that for Andy Barr checking his bias at the Politico door, John Harris?

But noooooooooooooo! The lib Journ-O-Listers will tell you they're "objective," and only Fox News is biased. Right!

Phony Fighter Jock Tom Harkin Calls Tea Party "Cult Fringe" Blocking Debt Ceiling Increase

The Party of Civility speaks again today, from the lips of a phony soldier (Real Clear Politics).
Sen. Tom Harkin (D-Iowa) calls Republicans "dead-beat debtors" among other things during a Democratic press conference on Wednesday morning.

"The debate and fight is not between Democrats and Republicans. It's between some Republicans and their sort of cult fringe as I refer to them out there," Harkin said.

"Democrats are willing to do whatever is necessary to raise the debt ceiling, not for future borrowing but to pay the debts that we racked up in the past. Which, mostly was racked up by a Republican House, a Republican Senate and a Republican President in the last 8 years. Yet, they're not willing to pay the bills," Harkin said.

Hey Tom, who has run up more debt in the last two years than any previous President? You helped him out, voting for things like Obamacare and the phony stimulus that added TRILLIONS to the debt...all under the Democrat's watch.

Facts are inconvenient things, because back in 2006, Harkin, Obama, and every Senate Democrat voted against the increase of the debt ceiling.  Since liberals are addicted to our wallets, keeping them from more of our money is like taking booze away from a drunk.  So they act irrational and attack, or give campaign speeches at memorial services (5:45 in video/audio).

Harkin is as phony as his claims he fought MIG fighter jets in Vietnam, hence the "phony fighter jock" headline. (Instapundit via Michelle Malkin).

Harkin even went with John "Lurch" Kerry to Central America and proped up Marxist dictator Manuel Ortega in 1985.

You wanna talk about "fringe," Tom?

Senate Candidate Ratdke Opposes Senate's "Cut, Run & Hide" Plan; Former Senator George Allen Silent

Jamie Radtke, running in the GOP primary for Virginia's US Senate seat held by Jim Webb, issued a statement opposing the RINO Mitch McConnell "Cut, Run and Hide" plan:
Today I call on Speaker Boehner to oppose the McConnell-Pelosi-Reid “Cut, Run and Hide Plan” and refuse to bring it to the floor for a vote.

The McConnell-Reid-Pelosi “Cut, Run and Hide Plan” is a classic Washington Insider maneuver to get the Republican politicians ‘off the hook’ by giving President Obama the ‘green light’ to unconstitutionally raise the debt ceiling through the back door.

In addition to signing the “Cut, Cap and Balance” pledge, I have stated strongly and often that I oppose any increase in the debt ceiling. Our problem is that we are spending too much money, not that we can’t borrow enough money.

Now, where does George Allen stand on his friend Mitch McConnell’s “Cut, Run and Hide Plan”?

We don’t know – George Allen won’t say.

This isn’t surprising. As Allen spokeswoman Katie Wright said today, “It's always fair to look at the past as an indication of how one would govern in the future."

So let’s look at George Allen’s past:

  • When I opposed the establishment’s first ‘Budget Deal’ last March, George Allen refused to take a stand.
  • When I supported Congressman Paul Ryan’s budget, George Allen refused to take a stand.
  • Meanwhile, when George Allen was in the Senate, he voted to raise the debt ceiling four times.
  • George Allen has long been a Mitch McConnell supporter and they were both in the Senate Republican Leadership in 2004.
  • And last month, on June 20, Senator McConnell hosted a fundraiser to elect George Allen.

So now I ask George Allen: Where do you stand? Will you take a stand against the McConnell-Reid-Pelosi “Cut, Run and Hide Plan”? Or will you Cut, Run and Hide?

McConnell's plan, as well as the so-called "Gang of Six" Obama re-election rescue package, is more reason we need more citizen politicians in Washington who are inspired by the Tea Party, instead of the "poltics as usual" from the political class in both parties who are only looking at the next election instead of doing the job they were elected to do.

GOP's Cut, Cap & Balance Passes House Tonight

Just hold firm against any phony "gang of six" compromises (AP).
Defying a veto threat, the Republican-controlled House passed legislation Tuesday night to slice federal spending by $6 trillion and require a constitutional balanced budget amendment to be sent to the states in exchange for averting a threatened government default.

The 234-190 vote marked the power of deeply conservative first-term Republicans, and stood in contrast to stirrings at the White House and in the Senate on a renewed effort at bipartisanship to solve the looming debt crisis.

Now that's a real plan, not one being proposed by the Senate that just kicks the can down the road.

Americans for Prosperty issued the following statement via e-mail:
"The House of Representatives has done its job. It has passed a debt ceiling increase that meets the short, medium and long term goals set out by financial institutions like Standard & Poor's to insure our nation's solvency and our Triple-A credit rating.

"Now, it is up to Harry Reid to start acting like an adult and put petty politics aside by passing the House bill through the Senate. 'Cut, Cap, and Balance' will save about $5.8 trillion over the next decade. Any plan from the Senate should save at least that much. Failure to act on the only responsible approach that has been proposed to solve our nation's debt crisis would be catastrophic to our nation's economic future."

Gang Of Six = The Bipartisan Screwing Of America For The Re-Elect Obama Campaign

Anytime you hear the phrase "Gang of (fill in the blank)" in politics, know that you and your fellow citizens are about to get screwed by both parties.

That's what that turncoat Tom Coburn did today (The Hill).

Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Okla.), who had pulled out of the Gang of Six in May, also rejoined the group and praised the plan as something that could win the 60 votes needed to pass the Senate.

“The plan has moved significantly, and it’s where we need to be — and it’s a start,” Coburn said. “This doesn’t solve our problems, but it creates the way forward where we can solve our problems.”

....According to an executive summary, the Gang of Six plan would stabilize the debt by 2014 and reduce publicly held debt to 70 percent of gross domestic product by 2021.

It would involve two separate bills — one implementing $500 billion in immediate deficit cuts and another implementing larger reforms. Conrad said he has held off marking up a budget in committee to use the normal budget process to move the Gang of Six plan.

Why are we waiting until 2014 to stabilize the debt? You could do that right now by repealing Obamacare. Oh, I forgot. Tom Coburn is good buddies with Richard Milhous Obama, who likes the plan (AP).
Time running short to raise the government's borrowing limit, President Barack Obama on Tuesday hailed a plan by a bipartisan senators' group on deficit reduction as the kind of "balanced approach" the nation is looking for. He said it's time for Congress as a whole to rally around such a proposal.

"We don't have any more time to engage in symbolic gestures, we don't have any more time to posture. It's time to get down to the business of actually solving this problem," the president said.

So it's more of the "time for talk is over" garbage from Obama that we heard during the stimulus and Obamacare debates. Never let a good crisis go to waste.

This plan doesn't solve our problems, what it does instead is kicks the can down the road and helps Obama out politically.

So don't be fooled. Despite the media hype, the Gang of Six plan isn't engineered for getting us out of debt, it's only being engineered to help Obama out politically, while the rest of us get screwed.

Allen West On Debbie "Thunderlips" Wasserman-Schultz: "Vile, Unprofessional & Despicable"

One of the few in the GOP that has a pair is Florida Rep. Allen West. He proved it again today.

After making remarks on the House floor in support of Cut, Cap and Balance; the female Alan Grayson, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (aka "Thunderlips"), attacked West (Politico).
"The gentleman from Florida. who represents thousands of Medicare beneficiaries, as do I, is supportive of this plan that would increase costs for Medicare beneficiaries, unbelievable from a Member from South Florida," Wasserman Schultz said, saying the legislation "slashes Medicaid and critical investments essential to winning the future in favor of protecting tax breaks for Big Oil, millionaires, and companies who ship American jobs overseas."

Never mind that "Thunderlips" supported cutting $500 billion from Medicare to pay for the risky scheme known as Obamacare.

West fired back, in an e-mail to her and copied to leadership of both parties.
Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional ,and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!

I am bringing your actions today to our Majority Leader and Majority Whip and from this time forward, understand that I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior……which dates back to the disgusting protest you ordered at my campaign hqs, October 2010 in Deerfield Beach.

You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!

Steadfast and Loyal

Congressman Allen B West (R-FL)

Way to go!!!!!!!

The Shark Tank, CPAC Blogger of the Year for 2011, covered Wasserman-Schultz' protest outside West's headquarters in 2010 that he referenced in the e-mail. She had her panties in a bunch because West had written columns for some biker magazine that also had supposedly "demeaning" photos of women in it.  I guess no one wanted to see Thunderlips photographed in a biker mag, so she was probably jealous.

But using the Left's standards, could we call Debbie Wasserman-Schultz a racist for protesting a black man?

Keep fighting the good fight, Rep. West! Glad you're there in Congress looking out for us.

Obama Signs On To Repeal Of Defense Of Marriage Act, Months After His InJustice Dept. Refuses To Defend The Law

His InJustice Department was instructed not to defend a 1996 Federal law, called the Defense of Marriage Act.

Now, in this vote harvesting time for the 2012 election, Richard Milhous Obama is pandering once again to the radical sodomy lobby as part of the Left's continuing assualt on the traditional family (ABC News, Jake Tapper).

Tomorrow the Senate will hold the first hearing on The Respect for Marriage Act, which repeals the Defense of Marriage Act, thus granting to all lawfully married couples—including same-sex couples—to receive federal marriage benefits and protections if they are joined by a valid marriage in a state where such marriages are legal.

“The president has long called for a legislative repeal of the so-called Defense of Marriage Act, which continues to have a real impact on the lives of real people --our families, friends and neighbors,” White House press secretary Jay Carney said at today’s press briefing.

“He is proud to support the Respect for Marriage Act, introduced by Senator Feinstein and Congressman Nadler, which would take DOMA off the books once and for all," said Carney. "This legislation would uphold the principle that the federal government should not deny gay and lesbian couples the same rights and legal protections as straight couples.”

The president has long opposed DOMA, signed into law by President Bill Clinton in 1996, but it wasn’t until earlier this year that he instructed the Justice Department to stop defending it as a law on the books, as is customary. In February, President Obama “made the determination,” according to Attorney General Eric Holder, that DOMA “as applied to same-sex couples who are legally married under state law, violates the equal protection component of the Fifth Amendment.”

As for his personal position on same sex marriage, the president continues to only say it is “evolving.”

Just like in California and New York, the radical gay agenda is more important than getting the budget together and tackling the rotten economy, all for the sake of votes.

ATF Chief Says Holder's InJustice Dept. Trying To Shield Officials In "Fast & Furious" Congressional Probe

Can you say "cover up? (LA Slimes)
The Department of Justice is trying to protect its political appointees from becoming embroiled in the broadening Fast and Furious gun-tracing scandal by refusing to release an internal "smoking gun" report that acknowledges the role of top officials in the program that allowed guns to flow illegally into Mexico, according to the head of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Kenneth Melson, the ATF acting director, earlier this month also told congressional investigators examining the role of top officials in the ill-fated program that affidavits in support of wiretaps used in the operation are inconsistent with what Justice Department officials have said publicly.

Melson told the investigators that when he raised his concerns with the Justice Department about "institutional problems" with the Fast and Furious operation, department officials resisted his desire to share his thoughts with Congress.

"It was very frustrating to all of us," Melson told congressional investigators over the Fourth of July holiday, "and it appears thoroughly to us that the department is really trying to figure out a way to push the information away from their political appointees at the department."

Not only was the department slow to react, Justice officials even indicated to him they did not want him to cooperate with Congress, Melson said.

His comments appeared in transcripts released by Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Vista), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and Sen. Charles E. Grassley of Iowa, the top GOP member on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

"The Deputy Attorney General's office wasn't very happy with us" at ATF, Melson said, "because they thought this was an admission that there were mistakes made. Well, there were some mistakes made."

The GOP lawmakers, in a letter to Atty. Gen. Eric H. Holder Jr., demanded more cooperation with their investigation in trying to figure who in Washington approved Fast and Furious and allowed it to go on for more than year beginning in November 2009.

It's obvious that Eric Holder and a lot of people know more about Gunrunner / Fast and Furious than they've led on, and the dam is fixing to break.

The question is, where does it stop? We know that this program was funded by "stimulus" money. Who in our government at levels higher than the InJustice Department know about this? Who else is involved in covering this program and those involved up?

Keep in mind, this is the same kind of crap that brought down one Administration over a break in at a Washington DC apartment building almost 40 years ago.

O'Keefe Exposes Medicaid Fraud In New Video (VIDEO ADDED)

James O'Keefe is back with another blockbuster (Daily Caller).
Conservative filmmaker James O’Keefe released the first installment in a new video investigation Monday morning, this one focused on Medicaid fraud. The first video in the series shows government employees in Ohio assisting two men who have described themselves as Russian drug smugglers with applications for Medicaid.

In the video, the men explain to Ohio Medicaid workers that they are Russian immigrants who sell illegal drugs, drive a modified McLaren F1 sports car with a gold-coated engine, and use their underage sisters to perform sexual favors in exchange for drugs.

In response, Ohio employees tasked with disbursing federal Medicaid dollars are shown coaching the men through the process of applying for benefits. “If it’s not something registered here, maybe I just wouldn’t mention it,” a Franklin County Medicaid officer named Traci Daniels tells the men, when asked whether they should mention owning a vehicle that retails for nearly $1 million, as they apply for government aid designed to help poor people. “Not that I can say that. You didn’t hear that from me. But, that would right there, that would throw him off. He would be immediately not qualified.”

Daniels also tells the men to describe their occupation as babysitting, though she apparently believes they are drug dealers.

Your government and your tax dollars at work.

Hanoi Jane Whines About Being Cancelled By QVC, Claims Lies & Myths Have Been Spread About Her

Apparently, the cable TV shopping mall known as QVC was going to have "Hanoi" Jane Fonda on their channel selling some book she's written (imagine that--a communist sympathizer engaging in capitalism). Viewer outrage cancelled her appearance, so Jane is throwing a temper tantrum at her website (h/t This Ain't Hell).
"The network said they got a lot of calls yesterday criticizing me for my opposition to the Vietnam War and threatening to boycott the show if I was allowed to appear. I am, to say the least, deeply disappointed that QVC caved to this kind of insane pressure by some well funded and organized political extremist groups. And that they did it without talking to me first, I have never shied away from talking about this as I have nothing to hide. I could have pointed out that threats of boycotts are nothing new for me and have never prevented me from having best selling books and exercise DVDs, films, and a Broadway play.

...Bottom line, this has gone on far too long, this spreading of lies about me! None of it is true. NONE OF IT! I love my country. I have never done anything to hurt my country or the men and women who have fought and continue to fight for us. (sic) do not understand what the far right stands to gain by continuing with these myths. In this case, they denied a lot of people the chance to hear about a book that can help make life better, easier and more fulfilling"

You mean "myths" and "lies" like this, you treasonous Twat?

You've reaped what you sown, so STFU!

Lib Maryland Governor O'Malley Says GOP To Hurt Economy In 2012: Speak For Yourself Marty!

Liberals cannot point to their socialist economic schemes with any success, so they point fingers of blame at Republicans who are trying to clean up the mess of the Obama Regime by using scare tactics.

That's what lib Governor Martin O'Malley of Maryland is out doing (Fox News).
The head of the Democratic Governors Association accused GOP debt negotiators in Washington of trying to undermine the economy so President Barack Obama will lose his re-election bid next year.

...At this weekend's meeting of the National Governors Association, O'Malley has said Republican governors should urge GOP lawmakers to make a deal with Obama to increase the government's borrowing limit before the Aug. 2 deadline when U.S. faces a financial default.

The Republicans seem to be led by uncompromising hard-liners, he said, singling out House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., for criticism.

"I think that there is an extreme wing within their party who have as their primary goal not the jobs recovery, but the defeat of President Obama in 2012," O'Malley said in an interview. "They know that their formulations, their policies of less revenues and less regulation badly failed our country and plunged us into this recession. So their only way of evening the playing field is to keep the president from being successful in the jobs recovery."

He contended that key Republican members of Congress, "through their intransigence, cleverly set up a situation for America's economy to fail, either by needlessly driving us to default, or needlessly driving us into massive public sector layoffs."

"I think that they are disgracefully cynical," said O'Malley, who has a prominent profile as head of the Democratic governors' group.

Set up a situation for the economy to fail? Hey you jerkoff O'Malley, if anyone set up this economy to fail, it was Obama and his lieutenants--Reid and Pelosi--who went on a spending binge like a drunk on Saturday night, passing irresponsible socialist schemes while our economy was tanking. None of it worked. Now the adults (Republicans) are trying to clean up this mess.

O'Malley is no stranger to using the worst fearmongering tactics for political gain. In 2005, when he was mayor of Baltimore, he compared budget cuts proposed by President George W. Bush to the 9/11 attacks.

Talk about "disgraceful."

But as long as O'Malley wants to point the fingers at Republicans, let's look at the "not so" Free State of Maryland's economy.

Maryland is:
Number 44 in states for the worst taxes in 2011.

The fifth worst state to retire.

The seventh worst state to do business.

Baltimore, where O'Malley was once mayor, is fifth in the murder rate and eighth in violent crime.

Compare that to the Commonwealth of Virginia, where a Republican governor has turned the state around and made it one of the best economies in the nation.  We even have a surplus.

So, with a record like that Marty, it seems liberals are the ones who tear up economies and blame those who try to clean up their messes.
