Why Does Krauthammer Attack Palin? Simple....He's An Inside The Beltway Elitist

The occasionally on target Charles Krauthammer illustrated the other day how easily he can go off the rails, by attacking the possibility of a Sarah Palin 2012 Presidential run, because she's "not schooled" enough for him (Real Clear Politcs).

Keep in mind this is the same Krauthammer that said the following about Richard Milhous Obama, days after his election (h/t Rush Limbaugh).

With him we get a president with the political intelligence of a Bill Clinton harnessed to the steely self-discipline of a Vladimir Putin. (I say this admiringly.) With these qualities, Obama will now bestride the political stage as largely as did Reagan.

Why does Krauthammer not like Palin?  Simple...he's a typical "Inside the Beltway" elitist, just like Newt Gingrich.  Right or Left it doesn't matter.  Elitists always run with their own.  They look down on people who don't attend the same Ivy League schools as they did.  People like Sarah Palin and (30 years earlier) Ronald Reagan represent a threat to the elite, because they come from and speak from the soul of the silent majority of Americans whom the elites look down their noses at.
