Sarah Palin's Bus Tour Starts Sunday In DC

Does this mean she's in and in it to win?

Sarah Palin is kicking off a bus tour beginning this Sunday, May 29th at the Rolling Thunder event.  The tour will go up to New England at historical stops along the way.

Our nation is at a critical turning point. As we look to the future, we are propelled by America's past. It's imperative that we connect with our founders, our patriots, our challenges and victories to clearly see our way forward. A good way to do this is to appreciate the significance of our nation's historic sites, patriotic events and diverse cultures, which we'll do in the coming weeks on our "One Nation" tour.

We'll celebrate the good things that bring Americans together; those things that will give us the needed strength to meet the heady challenges ahead. I’ve said many times that America doesn’t need a "fundamental transformation," instead we need a restoration of all that is good and strong and free in America! So, together let’s prepare ourselves for the days ahead by reminding ourselves who we are and what Americans stand for.
Does this mean she's running?  I could be wrong, but I think this tour, and a feature length movie that will be shown in Iowa is a good indicator she is.
The conventional wisdom is that she won't, which usually means conventional wisdom is wrong.  Let's face it.  The GOP base and conservatives are not that enthused about the slate of candidates we have now.  Romney is the establishment, good-ole boy choice.  The party elites are prepping him like they did McCain: "he didn't make it this time around, 2012 will be Mitt's year because the party poobahs say so."  Same mistake the GOP made in 1996 and 2008.

What would be good about a Palin candidacy is she has the name recognition, and she has been at the forefront of taking on the Obama Regime via social networking websites and the media.  She is an "outsider" to the GOP Party appraratus - the elites and Country Clubbers hate her just like the liberals do.  Finally, she espouses conservative ideas in a passionate way that attracts people to listen to her.  She talks at a level people can understand, instead of talking down to them.  Just this announcement has fired up conservatives at all the message boards I've seen, in a way no one else has.

One Nation is a good theme for her bus tour, especially in contrast to the way liberals and the Obama Regime have tried to divide us by class, gender, race and sexual orientation.

Keep posted for more details.  Unless something unforseen comes up, I'm planning to head into DC once I find out where her event will be held.
