An international flotilla of more than a dozen boats next month will again attempt to breach the Israeli blockade of Gaza, and Regina Carey of San Rafael will be aboard the United States boat, dubbed the Audacity of Hope (geez, where have we heard this before).Carey is a member of the Marin Democrat Party's Democrat Central Committee, and listed as an endorser under Catholics for Obama. Plus, these so-called "peace activists" do not endorse a two-state solution.
The 35 activists also will include former San Rafael resident Kathy Sheetz, who has participated in three similar challenges to the blockage beginning in 2008. Sheetz has been taken into custody twice by the Israel Defense Forces. Sheetz moved to Point Richmond in 2009.
..."Of course it's risky. But I grew up in the civil rights movement where just the color of my skin made me a target," said Carey, who is black. "For me, I have to draw the line someplace, and this is it."
Both Carey and Sheetz said they doubt the viability of a two-state solution in the Middle East, with a Palestinian state existing side by side with Israel.
Carey said, "I would like to see one person, one vote. One state."
Sheetz said, "I think it almost has to be one state. I think it's up to the Israelis to decide if they want a democracy or a theocracy."The charter of the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, who controls Gaza, seeks the destruction the state of Israel. These Leftist morons just go about hiding their anti-Semitism in a more sophisticated manner.
Another Marin Moron, Annie Robbins of San Anselmo wants to go on the trip and shamlessly used the civil rights movement analogy.
"It took those people standing at the lunch counters," Robbins said.Robbins is listed as a member of Code Pinko on the US to Gaza website. Code Pinko co-founder Susie "Medea" Benjamin is listed as a passenger, which is coordinated by Leslie Cagan, a Fidel Castro apologist and communist. WorldNetDaily found links to Richard Milhous Obama among some who have endorsed this new floatilla.
The U.S. branch of the flotilla project is endorsed by several Obama associates, including Columbia University professor Rashid Khalidi, who reported helped raise $370,000 to finance the purchase of a U.S. ship for the cause.Check out one supporter of this woman from the IJ Comments section.
WND was the first to report on Obama's close relationship with Khalidi, who has been tied to the Palestinian Liberation Organization and who has described Israel as a "racist" state with an "apartheid" system.
Also endorsing the "Audacity" ship is Code Pink, co-founded by Jodie Evans. The group previously met with Hamas and with leaders of the Taliban.
Evans was a fundraiser and financial bundler for Obama's presidential campaign.
WND reported that in January, Evans and other Obama associates provoked chaos in Egypt in an attempt to enter the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip to join in solidarity with the territory's population and leadership.
Among those associates were former Weather Underground terrorists William Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. The duo are both leaders of the Free Gaza Movement, which also endorsed the "Audacity of Hope" ship.
