I’d certainly heard of and referred to Brietbart TV and Breitbart.com here several times. But when I saw him, James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles go after ACORN, as well as the YouTube videos of him taking on people like Max Blumenthal and some other libs at CPAC 2010 face to face, I clapped my hands and said "Hallelujah!"
Why? Because here was someone who understood the Left had long ago declared war on us, and the only way to defeat them was to look them in the eye and take them on.
Andrew Breitbart has a story to tell, and he tells it with passion in his new book, Righteous Indignation: Excuse Me While I Save The World, which was just released in bookstores and is available online. It is his second book, (Hollywood Interrupted was his first, in 2004), both books he wrote because he was "compelled to write them."
“I was just fed up with celebrity culture after 9/11,“ Breitbart told me of Hollywood Interrupted. “I wanted to compare and contrast celebrity today from celebrity of yesteryear. Today, (in Righteous Indignation) I’m putting a critical eye on mainstream media for same purposes. I’m not here just to chronicle it like Bernie Goldberg. I’m here to create a rallying cry and be a Pied Piper for Tea Party people to say ‘Enough is Enough’ and take these people (the Left) on.”
Righteous Indignation (with the words ‘Right’ and ‘Nation’ in red) isn't another policy book telling the differences between conservatives and liberals, or a third party perspective of the last two years of the Obama Regime. In addition to his role in the ACORN expose and the dawn of the New Media, Andrew tells of growing up in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, and how going to college at Tulane in New Orleans opened his horizons to a broader world outside Los Angeles. He explains how pop-culture, media, and academia has been used by the Left to win converts and control their message. Most important, he shows how conservatives and patriots can successfully take on the Left.
There's a lot of conservative books that are simply "must reads." Righteous Indignation, however, is required reading and essential for the libraries of conservatives and Tea Party patriots everywhere. You won't be able to read this book just once. You'll refer back to it often, and use Breitbart's tools and battle strategies on how to take on the Left.
Earlier this week, I spoke with Andrew about the book and other topics.
MAROONED IN MARIN – In the book, you referred yourself during your younger years as a “default liberal.” Was that a product of the media world that you, and those of us Generation X’ers grew up in? (continued on next page)
Doug made the following set of notes you could cut out and place at your nearest gas station, and I wanted to share them with you.

Update: In a pants-on-fire moment, the White House press office today denied anyone there had issued threats to remove Carla Marinucci and possibly other Hearst reporters from the press pool covering the President in the Bay Area.
Chronicle editor Ward Bushee called the press office on its fib:
Sadly, we expected the White House to respond in this manner based on our experiences yesterday. It is not a truthful response. It follows a day of off-the-record exchanges with key people in the White House communications office who told us they would remove our reporter, then threatened retaliation to Chronicle and Hearst reporters if we reported on the ban, and then recanted to say our reporter might not be removed after all.
The Chronicle's report is accurate.
If the White House has indeed decided not to ban our reporter, we would like an on-the-record notice that she will remain the San Francisco print pool reporter.
I was on some of those calls and can confirm Ward's statement.
Messy ball now firmly in White House court.
SF Chronicle Reporter Removed From Obama Press Pool For Taping Protesters; Regime Keeps Silencing Reporters
Carla Marinucci of the San Francisco Chronicle (not a conservative reporter from the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy) taped the protesters and was then removed from the press pool.
Phil "Kimono Dragon" Bronstein wrote about it at SF Gate (h/t Pundit Press):
The hip, transparent and social media-loving Obama administration is showing its analog roots. And maybe even some hypocrisy highlights.Never cared much for Phil Bronstein, but he's right on this one.
White House officials have banished one of the best political reporters in the country from the approved pool of journalists covering presidential visits to the Bay Area for using now-standard multimedia tools to gather the news.
The Chronicle's Carla Marinucci - who, like many contemporary reporters, has a phone with video capabilities on her at all times - pulled out a small video camera last week and shot some protesters interrupting an Obama fundraiser at the St. Regis Hotel.
She was part of a "print pool" - a limited number of journalists at an event who represent their bigger hoard colleagues - which White House press officials still refer to quaintly as "pen and pad" reporting.
...So what's up with the White House? We can't say because neither Press Secretary Jay Carney nor anyone from his staff would speak on the record.
Other sources confirmed that Carla was vanquished, including Chronicle editor Ward Bushee, who said he was "informed that Carla was removed as a pool reporter." Which shouldn't be a secret in any case because it's a fact that affects the newsgathering of our largest regional paper (and sfgate)and how local citizens get their information.
What's worse: more than a few journalists familiar with this story are aware of some implied threats from the White House of additional and wider punishment if Carla's spanking became public. Really? That's a heavy hand usually reserved for places other than the land of the free.
But bravery is a challenge, in particular for White House correspondents, most of whom are seasoned and capable journalists. They live a little bit in a gilded cage where they have access to the most powerful man in the world but must obey the rules whether they make sense or not.
CBS News reporter, Mark Knoller, has publicly protested the limited press access to Obama fundraisers, calling the policy "inconsistent." "It's no way to do business," wrote Politico's Julie Mason, "especially [for] a candidate who prides himself on transparency."
A 2009 blog by the White House Director of New Media states that "President Obama is committed to making his administration the most open and transparent in history."
Not last week.
Another reporter censored by the Regime recently was former S.F. Chronicle/Examiner reporter (currently WCBM-AM and WorldNetDaily correspondent) Les Kinsolving. Last Monday, the Regime's Minister of Propaganda, Jay Carney, arrogantly told Kinsolving he wouldn't answer his questions.
Kinsolving is the second in seniority at the White House, a beat he's covered since the last days of the Nixon Administration. He and WorldNetDaily were snubbed by the Obama White House and the Correspondent's Association last year, when they paid for but didn't receive a table for the White House Correspondent's Dinner. They were to promote the biography of the veteran reporter that night among his peers.
Tell me again about "transparency" from this White House?

This time, it was the ugly communist hags from Code Pinko (The Shark Tank, via Gateway Pundit).
A couple of days ago, West endured hecklers in the audience, including white liberal talk show host Nicole Sandler.
What is it with the liberals who claim to be such champions of minorities? Do they have a problem with a black conservative Congressman?
It looks as though there is a racist undertone in the attacks against West. Weasel Zippers found an untrue story from the John Podesta (another white lib) organization Think Progress (who also wanted to "saw his nads off with a plastic knife.")
In the comments section of the inaccurate story on the West town hall, Podesta's Think Progress allowed this comment.
"What a JOKE and a damn coward! What are you afraid of West??? Come one (on) Buckwheat stand up!! Answer the qustions don't be a coward!
...Look at him! He looks like the actor who played Buckwheat in the Our Gang flicks! Background on the Buckwheat slur.
Two can play at this game, Bob Schieffer at See BS!
But some who are experienced in imaging software say that the birth certificate is fake.
Jim Hoft at Gateway Pundit has three examples here, one of which is this video below.
Let me add that I've not been one of those who is in the so-called "birther" movement. I heard a lot of theories, etc, but preferred to have actual proof and facts. Theories only explain that JFK was shot from 40 different directions in Dallas, that George W. Bush and Dick Cheney were in New York flying remote control airplanes with explosives on 9/11, or that Elvis is alive and living in some motel by an IHOP in Omaha.
But there are a lot of questions I have. Why did it take three years, $2 million in legal fees and the court martial/imprisonment of Lt. Col Terry Lakin to release the "official" birth certificate? Why does a set of twins who were born a couple of days after Obama have a lower number on their COLB than Obama's?
If you have experience with graphic design, photoshop, etc, and can ascertain this is a fake, leave your comments below.
UPDATE: I found the following from Jeff Winston, posted at FreeRepublic.com, which dispells the COLB fakery.
Wednesday, April 27, 2011
While Trump claims credit for the release, it also puts egg on his face, after he made comments that the birth certificate was "missing."
In full sanctimony and showing his thin-skinned nature, Obama lashed out at Trump and others. (Yahoo news).
"We do not have time for this kind of silliness. ...We're not going to be able to solve our problems if we get distracted by sideshows and carnival barkers."
If we didn't have time for this "silliness," then why did you allow this issue to exist for the past three years, since the 2008 campaign? Why did you spend almost $2 million in legal fees to prevent the release?
What exactly did this "silliness" distract you from, Mr. Obama? Your next round of golf? The next big money DNC fundraiser? Flying Air Force One to Chicago to appear on Oprah, all on the taxpayer dime?
All while our debt is exploding, our economic power is fading to China, and oil prices are climbing into the stratosphere. Instead of fixing these problems, you do nothing except engage in your usual "blame game."
Instead of "fiddling while Rome burned," it could be said that Obama has been busy golfing while America crumbled.
The release of the COLB may have satisfied questions about his eligibility, put Obama's petulant, childish behavior makes one question his temperament to be President even more.
First, they're going to select the GOP candidate, with taking Sarah Palin out their primary objective (Legal Insurrection).
As you know, I'm not a fan of Politico's news operation. Today's feature article, Mission for anti-Palin movement: Expose her, is a prime example of how the MSM will go after Republican candidates or potential candidates.Rush even opined on this the other day:
Under the guise of reporting on the anti-Palin movement, Politico manages to dredge up almost every crank accusation against Palin. The fourth word in the first sentence of the article just happens to be "promiscuous." How nice.
In the course of the article, Politico manages to compare Palin to Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, Hitler, and Father Coughlin, but only because such people were controversial and celebrities, of course. And Politico did not make the connection itself, it merely quoted someone making the connection, that's how real reporters do it, right?
Politico even refers to Rebecca Mansour, an aide to Palin who helps with SarahPAC, as an "attack dog," with an embeded link in Mansour's name in the Politico article to the viciously anti-Palin Palingates website. This is beyond contemptible even for Politico.
I don't know who is writing these books, but I would not be surprised if there's some kind of tie between the Obama Regime and these authors. He is a part of the corrupt Chicago machine. The secrecy, attacks on members of the press who dare to question him are right out of the playbook Richard Nixon only dreamed of using.
But opposed to Nixon, the media applauds their Chosen One, Obama. Look at the love Politico shows for the Chicago Jesus. They act like men at a sperm bank running to the bathroom. (Screenshot below from Weasel Zippers).
So if you're looking at Politico as objective journalism, think again. They're a part of the DNC steographer team - doing the President's bidding and making sure any real contender in 2012 is taken out early. They want a mushy, spineless GOP candidate whom they can savage easily.

Liberals today think they can do the same thing, except their strategy is REAL astroturf (e-mails from MorOn.org), as well as acting like a bunch of assholes screaming at the top of their lungs.
They did it tonight in Florida, at a town hall by Rep. Allen West. Javier at The Shark Tank took the following video (via Gateway Pundit).
The lady getting cuffed and escorted out is former Air America lib radio host Nicole Sandler, according to The Palm Beach Post, via The Other McCain.
West told the MorOns they wouldn't be able to intimidate him.

Along with the usual demagoguery of the oil companies, pushing of so-called "green energy" and a windfall profits tax (don't forget the attacks on then-President Bush and Vice President Cheney), then Democrat candidate Obama said the following.
We'll also take steps to reduce the price of oil, and increase transparency in how prices are set, so we can ensure energy companies aren't bending the rules. That was when the price of regular unleaded was $3.55 at this Joe's Junction gas station in Indianapolis, IN.
Now look at how much gas prices have gone up since Obama became President -- 67 percent.
And all Obama can do today is push the same canard that it is the fault of the oil companies. Never mind the weakening dollar, the illegal moratorium against drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, and now how his EPA has forced Shell to abandon drilling in the Arctic.
It seems Barack Hussein Obama is blaming everyone and everything for this increase in gas prices except where it belongs....with his regime.
Obama Attends Easter Service At Church Where Pastor Once Attacked "Racist" Talk Radio, & Where Anti-Israel Forum Was Held In 2009
The media stood and applauded yesterday when President Obama and his family went to church for Easter. Yesterday’s visit to Shiloh Baptist Church in D.C. shows again that Obama really is a man of faith, the reports seem to suggest.
But while the media rushed to report on the first family’s attendance of the predominately black congregation (and the family’s outfits), what it failed to mention was the views held by the church’s pastor. And while those views are not delivered in the same fiery manner as Obama’s former pastor, Jeremiah Wright, they sound eerily familiar.
What views are those? How about that the country is still racist, that racists get programs on Fox News, and that Rush Limbaugh is the new KKK.
And that's not all. Joseph Klein wrote at NewsReal Blog that this "church" hosted a Palestinian, anti-Israel conference in 2009.
In October of 2009, while (Assoc. Pastor Adam Russell) Taylor was serving in the Shiloh Baptist Church and as an intern in the Obama administration, the church hosted a hate Israel conference sponsored by a radicalized Palestinian Christian liberation theology group that called the establishment of Israel “The Catastrophe” (Nakba) and has openly questioned Israel’s right to exist. What was one of the items that Pastor Smith talked about yesterday? (WRNO, via Weasel Zippers)
The group is known as Friends of Sabeel, which has spewed anti-Israel propaganda in both the United States and Europe since its founding in 1989. It has chapters in the United States and runs conferences in churches such as Shiloh Baptist Church to support the work of the Jerusalem-based Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center. Among other things, they have helped spearhead the divestment campaign against Israel in churches receptive to the anti-Israel, Palestinian victimhood message.
The dinner speaker at Shiloh Baptist Church’s 2009 hate Israel conference was Rev. Naim Ateek, President and Director of the Sabeel Ecumenical Liberation Theology Center. It must be a small world since Obama’s spiritual advisor Jim Wallis is a great admirer of Ateek, whom he has reportedly referred to as “Palestine’s Desmond Tutu.” That makes sense since Tutu also hates Israel.
“[Pastor Smith] talked about how his baby grandson’s gurgling is actually “talking” because he is saying ‘I am here … they tried to write me off as 3/5 a person in the Constitution, but I am here right now … and is saying I am not going to let anybody from stopping me from being what God wants me to be.’”
Robert DeNiro is none too pleased with potential 2012 presidential candidate Donald Trump.Yo' Bobby, Yeah, I'm talkin' to you! Obama's intentions were good? Forgettaboutit! He and his party had control of Congress last year, and he did not offer a budget for this fiscal year, and Congress did not approve a budget either.
The Huffington Post reported that in an interview with NBC anchor Brian Williams at Saturday’s Tribeca Film Festival, DeNiro challenged Trump’s political statements, alluding especially to The Donald’s suggestion that President Obama may not have been born in America.
“I won’t mention names, but certain people in the news the last couple weeks, just, what are they doing? It’s crazy. They’re making statements about people that they don’t even back up,” DeNiro said. “Go get the facts before you start saying things about people.”
DeNiro went on to confirm that Trump was among the unidentified folks to which he referred.
“It’s like a big hustle. It’s like being a car salesman,” DeNiro said. “Don’t go out there and say things unless you can back them up. How dare you? That’s awful to do. To just go out and speak and say these terrible things? Unless you just wanna get over and get the job. It’s crazy.”
DeNiro, who campaigned for Obama’s election in 2008, also expressed displeasure at the fact that the government was almost shut down, but added that he believed that Obama’s intentions, unlike other politicians, are essentially good.
“I think of the possibility of the government being shut down, and I say, ‘How did we get to this point?’” DeNiro said. “I know Obama was trying to bridge the gap. His intentions are really good. Maybe some things are not as good as we all would like, but his intentions were right. A lot of these guys, they’re intentions are not even good. They’re just playing the game. And they’re playing with people’s lives.”
DeNiro is just one of a many celebrities to attack The Donald as of late. Gossip Cop reported Sunday that troubled actor Charlie Sheen advised people against voting for Trump because he’d exaggerated the worth of a gift he’d given Sheen.
Last week, Trump sent an angry open letter to comedian Jerry Seinfeld for pulling out of son Eric Trump’s St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital benefit. Seinfeld
reportedly canceled his appearance to the charity event because he’d “grown increasingly uncomfortable” with the aggressive manner in which Papa Trump has promoted the birther conspiracy.
As for the "birth certificate" I really don't like this subject (and everyone who reads this blog knows I'm not a fan of "The Donald"), but this whole thing is only an issue because Barack Hussein Obama refuses to release it. He knows it's an issue, and he's enjoying the controversy.
It seems that Bobby De Niro and a lot of the Obama cult of Hollywood idiots are great at their profession because they're good at doing one thing only: reading other people's lines. Check out what Bobby said in February 2008 at an Obama cult gathering.
“Barack Obama isn’t experienced enough to be president." As he ran down a litany that included his opposition to the war in Iraq, DeNiro said: "The kind of inexperience I can get use to. That’s the kind of inexperience our country deserves."Real intelligent huh? That kind of inexperience has sent the US credit rating south. That kind of inexperience has driven up our debt to unsustainable levels. That kind of inexperience has caused gas prices to skyrocket, and food prices aren't far behind. That kind of inexperience has our seniors living without a cost of living increase in Socialist Security.
But you don't know that Bobby, because you're too busy living your secure, fat cat lifestyle with the elite in Tribeca, isolated from the rest of us who have to suffer the cost of the "inexperience" you felt America deserved. Neither you, that other idiot Tom Hanks, that narcissistic drug addict Charlie Sheen, or the unfunny Jerry Seinfeld will get that.

A passenger screener at Philadelphia International Airport is facing charges that he distributed more than 100 images of child pornography via Facebook, records show.Related: Six Year Old Terrorist Stopped by TSA Agents.
Federal agents also allege that Transportation Safety Administration Officer Thomas Gordon Jr. of Philadelphia, who routinely searched airline passengers, uploaded explicit pictures of young girls to an Internet site on which he also posted a photograph of himself in his TSA uniform.
Homeland Security agents arrested the TSA officer March 24, and he is being held without bail.
The arrest comes as TSA grapples with several other incidents involving screeners, including a YouTube video posted last week by parents angry about the pat-down their 6-year-old daughter received at an airport in New Orleans. TSA officials said the pat-down was proper; the parents said the girl was “groped.”
Citing privacy rules, TSA spokeswoman Ann Davis would not say if Gordon has been suspended from his job, but noted that he had been in federal custody since his arrest.
“We can assure the public that he is no longer working at the airport,” Davis said.
He comes here for fundraisers so often now that locals have started referring to San Francisco as “the president’s ATM."

The Community Organizer-in-Chief announced today he has a plan to bring the price of oil down: investigate so-called "Big Oil" for price gouging and price manipulation (AP/Yahoo News).
President Barack Obama said Thursday that the Justice Department will try to "root out" cases of fraud or manipulation in oil markets, even as Attorney General Eric Holder suggested a variety of legal reasons may be behind gasoline's surge to $4 a gallon.Spoken like a true Marxist, as well as an economic illiterate. But what else are we to expect from someone whose only job has been "community organizing?"
"We are going to make sure that no one is taking advantage of the American people for their own short-term gain," Obama said at a town-hall style meeting at a renewable energy plant in Reno, Nev.
It gets worse. Everyone got on George H.W. Bush for being "out of touch" because he'd never seen an electronic scanner in a grocery store. Patterico reports that Obama told a crowd at a $35,800 a plate fundraiser in San Francisco:
“Right now we’ve got $4-a-gallon gas, and most of the people under this tent don’t have to worry about that. But for the average person who has to drive 50 miles to work and can’t afford to buy the Tesla, it’s hammering them. It’s hurting them,” Obama said, according to a White House transcript that notes the Tesla comment drew laughter.A Tesla is an electric sports car that costs about $100,000. The company is also planning a sedan that will be half that price. I don't know about you, but I don't know many people who have or would want to spend $100K on a car. Maybe if you're a San Francisco liberal who has $35,800 to burn to listen to the Chicago Jesus speak, you can afford a Tesla, or not worry too much about gas prices like the rest of us working folks.
Plus, the way Obama wants to put the coal industry out of business, what's going to power all these electric cars, like the Tesla and the Chevy House-burning Volt?

“Why just celebrate tax day today, April 18th? It’s also Trig Paxson Van Palin’s 3rd birthday. His mom went to a lot of trouble to leak amniotic fluid over 8 states to make sure that he arrived in this world somewhat alive,” writes Wonkette operative “Barbara_i,” reminding us of the occasion. “Sarah went to a whole lot of trouble to name him ‘Van Palin,’ a ‘Van Halen’ reference he will never get.” Indeed. Some businesses who advertise at Wonkette have standards, and decided to pull advertising from the site.
Enjoy yourself today, Trig. Have fun! Get drunk (on purpose this time)! We can hardly wait for 15 years from now, when you will finally be able to vote and will be sent off by your mother’s junta to fight the Union in the Great Alaska War. It’ll be quite a loss. You’re the smartest one in that family.
Steven Ertelt at Life News writes the following (h/t Alexa Moutevelis).
Three large companies have dropped their advertisements on the liberal, pro-abortion Wonkette blog after it ran a post earlier today bashing pro-life former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
...Papa Johns pizza confirmed it would not advertise with Wonkette.
Huggies diapers confirmed the same thing.
And Vanguard financial also confirmed it would take steps to stop advertising with the liberal blog.
Wonkette responded with tweets of its own claiming Papa Johns was engaging in “homophobia.”
“Boycott Papa Johns, spread the word,” the web site tweeted. “Homophobic Papa Johns. Why does every … pizza chain support wingnut extremists?”
Meanwhile, Wonkette Chief Editor Ken Layne defended the post in response to a query from the web site Mediaite as one attacking Palin’s supposed use of her mentally disabled son at political events. He also tweeted: “We beat up on Sarah Palin’s craven use of her son as a political prop. Child protective services should take Trig away.”
Political prop? It seems to me that the Left, including Barack Hussein Obama, have used children, in particular those with autism, etc, as political props against Republicans like Paul Ryan.
You have to be one of the lowest forms of life on Earth to attack a three year old special needs child, simply because you have an intense, insane, pathologically psychotic hatred of his mother. This has become commonplace among the so-called compassionate Left who claim to care so much about children. I've even seen this behavior firsthand from some liberal latrine slime at Gov. Palin's booksigning in 2009. But, that only shows how intellectually bankrupt the Left is in fighting Sarah Palin. They cannot defeat or make this woman go away, so they take cheap shots against her handicapped child.
I don't know about you, but I'm thinking of ordering a Papa John's pizza at lunch tomorrow.

Obama Leaves Arizona Officials Out of Immigration "Reform" Summit, Except For Vocal Opponent of SB 1070
Yesterday, there was an immigration summit at the White House, and among those not invited were officials from the State of Arizona (AZ Family.com, via FreeRepublic).
Arizona is considered the "Ground Zero" of the immigration debate, but the names most synonymous with the issue were left out of a White House conference on immigration reform. But don't worry, the Regime will assure us that politics didn't play a role, just like Texas being overlooked for one of the retired space shuttles.
Mayors and police chiefs from New York, San Antonio, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia joined former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, the CEO of Facebook, officials from JP Morgan Chase, the Bishop of Salt Lake, and other so-called "stake-holders" at the White House Summit on Tuesday.
"How could they not include us in this conversation," asked Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu.
Neither Babeu nor Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio were invited.
"Why does the Department of Justice avoid me with all my experience in Mexico? I have more experience than any politician has. Why don't they invite me?" questioned Arpaio.
Only one Arizonan appeared at the White House conference. Tucson Police Chief Roberto Villaseñor, who is a vocal opponent of Senate Bill 1070, was invited to the summit.

"I love that we have a movement in America talking about liberty, our sisters and brothers in the Tea Party. ...We need to understand we believe in liberty to. But we're not stopping with the first word in the Pledge of Allegiance. ...The Pledge of Allegiance says liberty...and justice for all. Justice for the immigrants. Justice for the lesbians and the gays. Justice for the African Americans. Justice for women. Justice for the rural poor. Justice for the native Americans. Liberty and justice for all. Shift the power (repeats).
If it's "Liberty and Justice for all" Commie Van, then why is it necessary that you play the race and class card?
I guess that's why you led the rally in Oakland on September 12, 2001. Obviously, you and your racist, terrorist-supporting brethren saw what happened the day before in New York, Washington DC and a field in Pennsylvania as "justice."
What you call "justice" really isn't. It is redistribution from one group to another. And when you take away something that isn't yours in the name of "justice" there is no liberty.
So how was your tax day? All I can say is if it were not for the home mortgage interest deductions that Obama and the liberals want to get rid of, Mrs. M.I.M. and I would have had to owe much more, and we're not even close to being millionaires.

As much as Trump's rhetoric sounds appealing, his actions don't match up with what he's been saying lately. Why is a guy who claims to be a Conservative gives money to far-Left libs like Anthony Horshack Weiner and the ambulance chaser, Schumck Schumer? He called George W. Bush the worst President in American history, now he says that about Obama.
I don't see anywhere where Trump really considered running for President until after the November mid-Terms. In September 2010, he gave this interview with Wolf Blitzed, saying he wasn't sure Obama would recover, admitting he felt differently a year and a half earlier.
Trump also calls the opposition to Obama "hatred" and "animosity." He sounds in the video above like a liberal dismissing opposition to Obama as hate.
What Trump does appears to be nothing new. Time Magazine wrote the following recently:
He has been repeating that sound bite for weeks, as if the nation were just another run-down co-op in need of redevelopment. But his play is not new. Back in 1987, Trump took out full-page ads in several newspapers, criticizing the political establishment, then run by Ronald Reagan, for its coddling of the OPEC countries and Japan. "The world is laughing at America's politicians," ran the copy, which stoked false rumors that he might throw his hat into the 1988 ring. About a decade later, he danced with the 2000 Reform Party ticket, releasing a book of policy proposals that included an embrace of single-payer health care and plans for a one-time 14.25% net-worth tax on all Americans worth more than $10 million. The revenue would pay off the national debt; primary residences, like those in upscale Trump properties, would be exempted.
Don't be fooled by Donald Trump. His talk may sound good, but do you notice he offers no real ideas (I haven't seen him do that, on any of the interviews I've seen) to solve our problems? Donald Trump is not a Conservative. He's a slick, self-promoter who'd do the same if this economy downturn happened in a Republican Presidency.

Hat tip to my friend Tania at Midnight Blue (via Twitter) for this video of the Left's "New Tone" in conterprotesting the Tea Party in Portland, OR yesterday (WARNING! language alert).
Socialist Counter Protest to Tax Day TEA Party
DATELINE Portland Oregon - 15 April 2011
Socialists were out in full force to counter the peaceful patriotic Tax Day Protest in Pioneer Courthouse Square. Here are just a few sample quotations found in these clips. "look ... I wipe my ass with the flag every night when I ... when I take a shit man. You got it? Are you gonna to handle about it? Huh? You got any balls? ... Huh? Bring your Mom I'd like to f*ck her. Bring your Republican Mama I'd like to f*ck her in the ass." "Shove the flag up your ass ... asshole." "Hey take a picture of this. Hey you f*cking homo right here." "I'm gonna make a stencil out of this Mother F*cker." "God Damn the USA!"
A lot of the protesters looked like they were on medical marijuana, and showed the photographer their IQ by flashing a single digit.
Remember that Portland, OR is where socialist anti-war cretins have held banners calling for the fragging of our troops, burned them in effigy, and also publicly defecated on the flag.

teabaggers liberals against a black person attending this same Tea Party (video below).
The man is called an "Uncle Tom," and a "Token" (interspersed with calls for "Solidarity") and slave imitations are done as a show of disrespect. Just off camera in the TEA Party is a Mom with her two small children who are black. Closeups are provided of those involved.
But I don't think we'll hear about this in the lapdog media like we did the phantom "n-word" yelled by the Tea Party last year, which never happened.
Andrew Breitbart is speaking now.
Proclaims what happened in Wisconsin "the Death of Community Organizing."
The Tea Party has been the most peaceful, law-abiding, clean-up after themselves group. You (AFL-CIO) Richard Trumpka have no right to lecture us. Go to Hell! Class warfare is unAmerican.
Introducing Sarah Palin, saying the Left hates her because of how effective she is.
Sarah Palin, "I feel like I'm at home, this is where the line has been drawn and I am with you in solidarity."
Is slamming the phony budget cutting deal cut by John Boehner and Obama.
"That is not courage, that's capitulation."
On Obama: "The only thing that trillion dollar travesty stimulated was a debt crisis and a TEA Party."
"Win the Future? WTF is about right"
"Our president isn't leading...the only future that Barack Obama is looking to win is his reelection."
You ignored us in 2010 but you cannot ignore us in 2012!"
"We will fight for America. And it starts here in Madison, WI. It starts here. It starts now. Mr. President, GAME ON."
She is ON FIRE!
Chase answered the following questions about Barack Hussein Obama and radical tree-huggerism.
Did you understand any of that?
No wonder the late, great Johnny Carson once said of Chase, "He couldn't ad lib a fart after a baked-bean dinner."

The stream is here:
I'm hearing some people predicting there will be $5 gas by the summer, which won't surprise me. I almost wonder if we'll be seeing gas lines anytime soon, circa the Jimmy Carter gas shortage of 1979.
Gas prices and food prices are going up, and it's mentioned matter-of-factly in the news media. But do you notice that you don't hear the same tones of outrage from the same media and Democrats as you did in 2008, when gas hit $4 per gallon? Andre Harper at Hip Hop Republican noticed the deafening silence of the liberals in the lapdog media.
Of course, Barack Hussein Obama is too busy playing golf and enriching his friend and puppetmaster George Soro$, by allowing Brazil to drill for more oil while US oil jobs are lost. Meanwhile, he's gone from telling us to air our tires to trading in our gas gusslers, in order to fight the increasing price of gas.
So what's next? Is the Obama Department of Transportation going to the vaults to dust off the old "Kalaka" commercial from the Jimmy Carter era to encourage car-pooling? This PSA I saw several times on TV as a fifth grader in early 1980, wondering just what Noah's Ark had to do with car-pooling.
So just how will the media lapdogs and Obama spin this one, as high gas prices threaten to kill the economic recovery that never was?
Obama Flip Flop--2007: Attacks Bush For Making Signing Statements; 2011: Makes Signing Statement Against Defunding Czars In Budget Bill
One rider – Section 2262 -- de-funds certain White House adviser positions – or “czars.” The president in his signing statement declares that he will not abide by it.
“The President has well-established authority to supervise and oversee the executive branch, and to obtain advice in furtherance of this supervisory authority,” he wrote. “The President also has the prerogative to obtain advice that will assist him in carrying out his constitutional responsibilities, and do so not only from executive branch officials and employees outside the White House, but also from advisers within it. Legislative efforts that significantly impede the President's ability to exercise his supervisory and coordinating authorities or to obtain the views of the appropriate senior advisers violate the separation of powers by undermining the President's ability to exercise his constitutional responsibilities and take care that the laws be faithfully executed.”
Therefore, the president wrote, “the executive branch will construe section 2262 not to abrogate these Presidential prerogatives.”
In other words: we know what you wanted that provision to do, but we don’t think it’s constitutional, so we will interpret it differently than the way you meant it.
During his presidential campaign, then-Senator Obama was quite critical of the Bush administration’s uses of signing statements telling the Boston Globe in 2007 that the “problem” with the Bush administration “is that it has attached signing statements to legislation in an effort to change the meaning of the legislation, to avoid enforcing certain provisions of the legislation that the President does not like, and to raise implausible or dubious constitutional objections to the legislation.”
Then-Sen. Obama said he would “not use signing statements to nullify or undermine congressional instructions as enacted into law.”
The president said that no one "doubts that it is appropriate to use signing statements to protect a president's constitutional prerogatives; unfortunately, the Bush Administration has gone much further than that."
So, Obama was against signing statements before he was for them. I guess he'll only say his previous opposition was "political," as was his opposition to the debt limit raise during the Bush Years.

Wasserman-Schultz, Slaughter & Obama Make Democrat Party More Like Alan Grayson - A Party That Offers Fear & Demogoguery Itself
This is part and parcel of the liberal fear and demagoguery campaign. Last week, Rep. Louise "Dead Sister's Dentures" Slaughter claimed women would die if Planned Parenthood's federal money was cut off.
Incoming DNC Chairwoman and current Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) says Republicans want to hurt “the frail, the elderly and seniors.”
Is that right Debbie? Well let me educate you, you shrieking harpy!
Who is the political party who cut $500 billion from Medicare to pay for Obamacare?
Who is the party who is allowing death panels in the Obamacare bill, despite their best attempts to convince us it's not in there?
Which party, led by which President, has left seasoned citizens out in the cold when it comes to cost of living increases for Socialist Security? This is during a bad economy, and with rising fuel prices.
If you answered "Democrats" and "Barack Hussein Obama" to all three of these questions, give yourself a hand clap. They accuse Republicans of taking food out of seniors mouths, and wanting to kill them, as well as put women back in the kitchen. But it's LIBERAL DEMOCRATS who are doing the cutting of senior benefits, and wanting our grandparents to die (along with as many babies as their supporters at Planned Parenthood can abort).
Where Alan Grayson left off, Louise Slaughter, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (these two would have Undeniable Truth of Life number 24 apply to them) and Barack Obama have taken his place, and made the modern Democrat Party one in Alan Grayson's image -- offering nothing but fear and demagoguery so they can keep power and help themselves to more of our income to build their socialist utopia.
Hell, they're going further than that, and starting to break the piggy banks of our unborn grandchildren.
The President's speech today began a new conversation in Washington about how to reduce the deficit while protecting crucial investments in our country's future.
But as we seek to build an organization based outside of Washington, President Obama's speech also provides an unusually stark contrast -- one all of us can use to start conversations with our friends and neighbors about what's at stake in this election.
He spoke about things you don't generally hear in Washington conversations too often dominated by special interests: He'll cut waste and excess at the Pentagon -- particularly spending that is requested not by our military, but by politicians and corporate interests.
He'll eliminate tax cuts for Americans in the highest tax brackets who don't need them, including himself -- and he will reform the individual tax code so that it's fair and simple and so that the amount of taxes you pay isn't determined by what kind of accountant you can afford.
Some cuts he proposed are tough. But they're also smart and surgical -- helping us balance our books while still doing the right things to win the future. President Obama's plan would protect the middle class, invest in our kids' education, and make sure we don't protect the wealthiest Americans from the costs of reform at the expense of the most vulnerable.
The other side has presented a very clear alternative: End Medicare as we know it, privatizing the program that millions of seniors rely on for health care. Make deep cuts to education. Slash investments in clean energy and infrastructure. All to pay for tax cuts for people making over $250,000 a year, and all while actually raising our national debt.
In short, their plan will please a special interest donor base and those who put ideology before results rather than reduce deficits over the long term. And let's be clear: They think they can get away with it because, fundamentally, they don't think you'll do anything about it.
Like I said last night, all this was could be summed up as more of the same. Rich people and corporations are evil, Republicans will starve seniors, so let's cut the military and spend more to lure more deadbeats on the public teet.
Um, many of us who own our own homes aren't millionaires, and yet you want to get rid of the mortgage interest deduction. Want to talk about killing the housing market further?
And all this fearmongering against seasoned citizens, that Medicare and Socialist Security will be cut. How come under your regime, Barack Hussein Obama, that not only have seniors not had a cost of living increase in the past two years, but $500 billion was cut from Medicare to pay for your risky socialist scheme called Obamacare?
Yet what is your solution, Barack Hussein Obama? Rewarding your own contributors, as you have the last two years? More special favors and waivers for labor unions and those who've lined up to kiss your ass? More taxpayer funding for abortion on demand to Planned Parenthood? More tax money wasted on the boondoggle-to-nowhere called "green jobs" while energy prices go up and stifle any potential economic growth?
It's easy to talk about healing the partisan divide and then lash out at conservatives and others who disagree with this Regime with the most inaccurate, false, extreme, divisive and partisan rhetoric. But that's what happens when we have a nation run by a community organizer.
Rep. Paul Ryan had a great comeback to the Community Organizer-in-Chief's campaign speech yesterday.
Reince Priebus at the RNC responded by calling Obama the Confiscator-in-Chief and says in an e-mail:
Tomorrow, he will rake in campaign cash for his re-election from three fundraising events in Chicago.
The tax hikes President Obama wants will only fuel Washington's addiction to spending rather than help curb it. More importantly, they will hurt one of the strongest engines of growth and job creation in our economy: small businesses. And they will harm middle class families by taking more money from their pockets at a time when Americans need every dime to cover their expenses.
In fact, according to the Tax Foundation, Americans will pay more in taxes in 2011 than they will spend on food, clothing and housing combined -- and it's still not enough for Barack Obama.

Several Taliban detainees who had been captured in February after being observed placing bombs in the culverts of roads used by civilians and military convoys near Kandahar were fed, given medical treatment, then released by American troops frustrated by a policy they say is forcing them to kick loose enemies who are trying to kill them.As good as Gen. Petraeus was in turning Iraq around, he appears to be letting the troops down.
Despite what American soldiers say was a mountain of evidence, which included a video of the men planting the bomb and chemical traces found on their hands, there was nothing the soldiers who had captured them could do but feed and care for them for 96 hours and then set them free.
In another incident, members of a unit attached to 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment survived an attack by a suicide bomber on their convoy when his device failed to detonate. Soldiers managed to capture the would-be martyr, but he too was released after being held for four days.
"We put our lives on the line to capture the enemy," a soldier with the Stryker regiment told The Washington Examiner. "Since my deployment, every insurgent we've captured has been released."
Troops say top commander Gen. David Petraeus has not fulfilled promises he made to Congress last year to review and, where appropriate, change rules of engagement that have restricted troops' ability to stop the enemy. While it would be easy to blame Petraeus, I have a feeling this is coming from higher up. Yes, I mean the White House. Obama and his Regime have, as I heard Charles Krauthammer say last night, declared war on the War on Terror. They have no intention of winning it and are trying to micromanage it, in the same way LBJ and MacNamara did Vietnam.
Gen. Stanley McChrystal, former commander of coalition forces in Afghanistan. promised that ISAF would have control of at least 40 Afghan districts by the end of 2010. That promise also was not met.
Troops say it's impossible to hold the terrain when insurgents know that, if captured, they cannot be held.
The policy of releasing insurgents is expected to continue for now, officials said.
The Afghan legal system has no Western-style standards of prosecution that would allow suspected Taliban to be held in civil detention, ISAF officials said.
...James Carafano, senior defense analyst for the Heritage Foundation, said releasing suspected insurgents is not only a problem for U.S. troops but civilians who have been tormented under Taliban rule.
"The real issue is what is the right thing to do?" Carafano said. "Putting Taliban fighters back in the field who may kill or terrorize Afghan civilians as easily as U.S. soldiers is never the right thing to do. The U.S. troops will not be there forever and local officials need to start thinking about the long-term interests of their own people."
American troops say the policy is a morale killer. They say the inability to hold suspected insurgents is one of the reasons why the U.S. has been unable to suppress the Taliban.
A report in the Los Angeles Times reveals that the Central Intelligence Agency has stopped trying to detain or interrogate suspects caught abroad, with the exception of those captured in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Phillip Mudd, a former CIA Counterterror Analyst and former FBI Intelligence Advisor, told Jenna Lee this has “been going on for some time,” and told our viewers why.
So you Obama Kool-Aid drinkers will say "hey, he's taken out many terrorists with those eeeeeevil drone attacks. True, and you know what? Any information the terrorist has is lost. Because it's hard for a dead terrorist to talk.

"Who the hell is for abortion? I don't know anybody running around with a sign that says 'Have an abortion, they're wonderful.' They're hideous. But they're a deeply intimate and personal decision and I don't think men legislators should even vote on the issue."
Simpson also went off on Republicans for their stance on gay rights, singling out potential 2012 nominee Rick Santorum as the worst offender.
"You've got homosexuality. You've got Don't Ask, Don't Tell. We have homophobes in our party. That's disgusting to me. We're all human beings. We're all God's children. Now, if they're going to get off on that stuff, Santorum has said some cruel things. Cruel, cruel things about homosexuals. Ask him about it. See if he attributes the cruelness of his remarks years ago, foul. Now, you know, that's the kind of guys that are going to be on my ticket, you know, it makes you sort out hard what Reagan said, you know, 'stick with your folks.' But I'm not sticking with people who are homophobic, anti-women, you know, moral values while you're diddling your secretary, while you're giving a speech on moral values. Come on, get off of it."
So tell me, you doddering old fool, why is opposing gay marriage homophobic? Marriage shouldn't be an "anything goes" institution, because liberals since the feminist movement have been trying to destroy it through items like "no-fault divorce."
If the Republican Party is anti-woman, then why are it's two best leaders who have the most backbone of anyone in the party women? Where was Alan Simpson when Sarah Palin was being attacked by that dick Bill Maher with crude sexist slurs? Getting his bedpan changed?
Remember this about Alan Simpson. We can thank him for the 1986 Simpson/Mazzoli act which granted amnesty that has essentially never ended to illegal aliens. Ronald Reagan foolishly signed the bill under the idea it would secure the border and, when it didn't, said it was a mistake to sign the bill.
My experience as a political observer has been that people like Alan Simpson who decry values issues usually are those who have no values.
Maybe we can call Simpson and people like him "anti-infant."

I've heard a lot of comments from many on our side over the last few days: pro and con.
Personally, while I agree that getting Obama and the Democrats to go along with cuts is a good thing, the cuts didn't go deep enough, especially after John Boehner promised $100 billion in cuts at CPAC (h/t Connie Hair).
Boehner showed himself to be too willing to compromise so that he didn't appear to be the meanie, as the lib media likes to paint all Republicans. That's even after the demagogues like Barbara "Call Her Ma'am" Boxer and Louise Slaughter put taxpayer abortion funding on the front burner. Slaughter (aptly named) even forgot the "new tone," claiming the GOP wanted to "kill women" with the budget cuts. I don't think so. Slaughter and Boxer are typical liberal feminazis who cannot be called "pro-choice," but more like "pro-infanticide." These two hags have no problems killing an innocent baby via abortion on demand, but will fight the death penalty against the worst murderer.
Forget ideology when it comes to the abortion issue. What business does the government have funding abortion, as well as NPR, CPB, the NEA, as well as a host of other things? We don't have the money. Planned Parenthood gets taxpayer funding because they've bought the Democrats like the cheapest trick on the block. But "fight" is clearly not in Boehner's vocabulary. The demagogues come out, and he's ready to surrender so he doesn't break down and cry.
Republicans want to know why they were ousted from power in 2006...it because of this type of compromising of their principles. They campaigned on cutting the deficit and the budget, and what have they done? Thirty eight billion isn't even a drop of piss in a bucket.
Democrats and Obama weren't in the mood to compromise on Obamacare, the Porkulus, or any other big government agenda items they rammed through. Why should the GOP compromise with them, especially when the American public elected them to stand up for fiscal sanity.
What is missing in Washington right now is leadership. Boehner and McConnell lack the balls to stand up to Obama, Reid, et al. The only leadership in the Republican Party is people like Michele Bachmann, Allen West, and Paul Ryan, among others.
I know, Boehner will tell us "next time, we're going to get serious." Really? How can we believe you when you had the opportunity days ago and blew it? If this budget showdown wasn't the time to fight, when will it ever be?
A 27 year disabled veteran named Wayne Tunick took Rep. Moron to task for being at a town hall meeting instead of Congress to work on a solution to the budget, as well as the possibility of military personnel not getting paid. Moron, who has shown contempt for the military and veterans several times, attacked Tunick for making "caustic" comments. When Tunick vocally took exception to Moron's backhanded attack, the Congressman (and several members of the audience) told this vet to sit down and be quiet.
No, it's YOU who needs to be quiet, Rep. Moron. It's obvious by the political gamesmanship seen last week that neither you, any other Democrat, nor the President, tried to deny funding to the troops so you could play political games and demagogue those who wanted to make needed cuts.
The fact that too many liberals in the audience backed you up, and keep electing your anti-Semitic, anti-military, pro-terrorist ass speaks poorly of too many in the Reston, Arlington, Alexandria area.
He won't answer questions about the ballooning debt either, showing contempt for anyone who dares to question him and his socialist agenda.
Lot's of good music and sightseeing as well.
But gosh, is it expensive! I noticed on the cab ride back to O'Hare yesterday that gas prices are well over $4 there. In fact, there's a $1 "gas surcharge" added to your cab fare.
In addition, the sales tax is one of the highest I've seen outside of New York City...9.75 percent.
It's also becoming a city who, like most liberal strongholds, is so pro-union that they are hostile to businesses or associations who choose Chicago to hold conventions. Marathon Pundit wrote recently how a judge threw out a law siding with exhibitors who were turning away from Chicago's McCormick Place. Because of the union rules. The Plastics Show, which has exhibited in the Windy City for four decades, has left because of ridiculous union rules and charges. I was in McCormick Center briefly and it is such a huge building that, if the unions win the fight and these conventions lose, that's going to be one huge, empty series of buildings.
While I was there, I didn't know (until after the fact) that The Sammies annual awards (held by the Sam Adams Alliance) were held in Chicago on Friday night. Gateway Pundit was there and reported on it.
Now, to catch up and comment on items that happened over the week....coming up.

This is ridicuolous! Profile now and quit treating everyone like a criminal because you don't want to offend certain people.
I had my eyes open with cell phone camera in hand when I went through the line at O'Hare in Chicago today, in case this happened. Most people I saw (including your roving reporter) chose the full-body scan. I didn't think getting a pat down with a full-bladder was a good idea.

For those new readers, this is the time of year where I leave my underground bunker underneath Dulles International Airport for a few days for my day gig, and drum up all kinds of business in meetings, sports bars, etc.
So I'm headed out to Chicago in the morning, and (unless there's something earth shattering I have to comment on or view) will be away from here until probably Sunday or Monday, depending on how fried my brain is.
In the meantime, I'd like to leave you with some links from some friends.
American Power points out that not only did Obama use the anniversary of Martin Luther King's assassination to launch his quest for four more years of taxpayer funded golf, but the unions used the anniversary as well to protest.
