Nearly six in 10 Americans say the country's heated political rhetoric is not to blame for the Tucson shooting rampage that left six dead and critically wounded U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, according to a CBS News poll. But that doesn't stop the liberal hatemongers from piling on.
...Overall, 57 percent of respondents said the harsh political tone had nothing to do with the shooting, compared to 32 percent who felt it did. Republicans were more likely to feel the two were unrelated - 69 percent said rhetoric was not to blame; 19 percent said it played a part. Democrats were more split on the issue - 49 percent saw no connection; 42 percent said there was.
Retired Congressman Patrick "Patches" Kennedy staggered out of his local pub to talk to Politico and attack Sarah Palin as well as the Tea Party:
“When Sarah Palin puts targets on people’s districts? Or you have 10,000 signs on the mall during the healthcare battle saying ‘Bury Obamacare with Kennedy’? When the vitriol and the rhetoric is so violent, we have to connect consequences to that.” said Kennedy, who left congress two weeks ago after serving eight terms representing Rhode Island.Yeah right Patches, you like beating up on women. Ask that female airport security guard at LAX. But hey, all a Kennedy has to do is throw some money around and clear that up. How's this for toned up rhetoric from Patches Kennedy?
Or Democrat Paul Kanjorski. Mark Hemmingway writes that Kanjorski said:
it is incumbent on all Americans to create an atmosphere of civility and respect in which political discourse can flow freely, without fear of violent confrontation. But Kanjorski recently said of Florida's new Republican governor:
"That Scott down there that's running for governor of Florida...Instead of running for governor of Florida, they ought to have him and shoot him. Put him against the wall and shoot him. He stole billions of dollars from the United States government and he's running for governor of Florida. He's a millionaire and a billionaire. He's no hero. He's a damn crook. It's just we don't prosecute big crooks.""Slick" Willie Clinton, even joined the "tone down the rhetoric" bandwagon, never mind he once referred to the Tea Party as "teabaggers."
Keep talking libs! Show yourselves for the hypocrites you are and I'll throw your comments and actions back at ya!
