They want to take her out politically. This woman, who the elites on both sides derided as some ignorant backwards hick from Alaska, they've wanted to destroy by any means necessary. The abused their First Amendment protection and "trust" in the process.
Let's start with Mr. Thrill Up My Leg--Chris Matthews.
MATTHEWS: Okay, this is idiotic. This is, everybody knows what a gun sight looks like. Everybody knows that Sarah Palin is very familiar with the imagery of a gun sight. She’s out there doing it on television with a big telescopic lens with a gun, gun sight. She, the language was bull's eye. The language was clearly lock and reload and everything. And now to come out and say that it's something to do with surveying details is nonsense. She is not answering. I will say this again. If she doesn't get off of this and stop trying to have somebody else skate her off of it like Glenn Beck or this person Mansour, she is going to be erased as a potential candidate. You cannot run like this. We can disagree.Followed by another set of MSNBC morons, Donny Deusch and the phony "conservative" Joe Scarboring.
DONNY DEUTSCH: I think as we've seen Sarah Palin probably ended her political career. And I don't mean to overstate it with her reaction, because she showed the flip-side of the reaction --One of CNN's resident liberals, Jack-off Cafferty, joined in.
JOE SCARBOROUGH: I don't think you're overstating it at all. I really don't. I think, all of us, Pat Buchanan was talking yesterday about how we understood the anger that Sarah Palin might feel for being unjustly accused minutes after the shooting of causing that, the shootings. But, Jon Meacham, the response by Sarah Palin, on the day that they were going to remember a nine-year old little girl that got killed and several senior citizens, and of course a congresswoman who was clinging for her life, to make it all about her, and to stir the pot up additionally with a very loaded phrase--that others have used--but others weren't considering running for President of these United States. Got to say, I really do believe, it's not an overstatement to say this probably ended Sarah Palin's political career. I would be stunned--and save this tape, save this tape and rub it in my face if I'm wrong--would be stunned to ever see Sarah Palin elected to another political office.
It's being suggested that the scope of the Tucson situation is quite simply beyond Palin's limited skill set, and when you compare Palin's response to the uplifting speech we heard from our president last night, you can draw your own conclusions. President Obama still has work to do- no question about it- when it comes to delivering on his campaign promises to change Washington and elevate the national dialogue, but last night went a long way in reminding a lot of Americans why they voted for him. And comparing the President's lofty words to Palin's small ones must have many Republicans rethinking their support of a woman who has great difficulty getting beyond her image of some sort of a rogue momma grizzly bear- whatever that is.
My gosh. You'd think Sarah Palin was Satan in human form by these media elites. But this begs the question. If Sarah Palin is so unfit to run for President, then where were these sanctimonious liberals three years ago when there was a candidate who...
*Spent 20 years inside a church that can be best described as "racist," promoting a "black values system" and "unashamedly black."
*Described as spiritual mentors two "preachers" of hate. One who used his pulpit to take God's name in vain in describing America. Another, the "Vanilla Ice" of black power preachers, mocked this candidate's opponents "I'm entitled, I'm white...She wasn't the only one crying, there was a lot of white people crying."
*Began his political career in the home of, and worked with an unrepentant domestic terrorist who bombed US government buildings, attempted to bomb a dance at Ft. Dix, New Jersey, are suspected in the death of a San Francisco police office after a bombing. This same terrorist wrote a book and dedicated it to, among others, the assassin of Robert F. Kennedy.
None of these "journalists" had a word of criticism for Barack Hussein Obama's associations mentioned above. Now these assassins in the media dare judge Sarah Palin and say she's unfit to be President, just because she used political imagery for an election, and dared to defend herself against their blood libel? (Yes, I just used that term!)
I hope we can rub this back in all their faces! Already, I'm seeing the comments of many on the internet who don't necessarily like Palin, but are tempted to vote for her because of these attacks.
Why? There is an old axiom, "don't beat up on the girl." Sarah Palin has now been beaten up by these misogynist lapdog media thugs, bloggers like Daily Kos and Little Green Footballs, and many Democrats. She tries to defend herself and is essentially given the back of the hand: "SHUT UP! (slap, slap), go get me a beer and a turkey pot pie!" treatment by the same folks.
Hillary Clinton was never treated this way by conservatives.
