Wikileaks Leaks US Diplomatic Cables While Obama Regime Is Asleep At The Wheel

The treasonous scum behind Wikileaks known as Julian Assange has struck again, leaking more secret information--this time, consisting of diplomatic cables that could threaten US relations and national security.

And what does the Obama Regime (with the exception of Hillary Clinton) do?

Obama comes out early this afternoon to make a statement about a freeze on federal pay. Eric Holder, Obama's racist Attorney General, not only confirms information about a criminal probe of Wall Street, but is also headed to Zurich, Switzerland to bring the World Cup to the United States in 2022.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?????

These leaks should have never happened. Couldn't our government used some kind of hacker or software crasher to bring the site down? Maybe that's asking too much of our government to actually do something, but instead, all they sent was a "pretty please don't print these documents" letter to the pervert with a computer Assange.

No wonder North Korea is emboldened to launch missiles at South Korea. Jihadists can plan attacks on our cities because this administration is too afraid to utter the words Islamic Terror. Instead of winning over our enemies, the Obama Regime is showing weakness and lack of backbone, and our enemies around the world are laughing their collective asses off at this empty suit.

Isn't our national security a greater priority than making a statement about freezing federal pay, and the World Cup?

Remember Joe Biden's words before the 2008 election...

...a reminder to all of the leadership test that this empty suit Obama has flunked for the past 21 months.

Sarah Palin asks questions about the "incompetence" of the Obama Regime.

Former UN Ambassador John Bolton says these leaks will cause "incalculable damage" to our diplomatic efforts.

The New York Slimes, living up to their motto "All The Treason That's Fit To Print," had no qualms about printing these leaked documents from Wikileaks but passed on the hacked Climategate e-mails.

And I thought the liberals were all concerned about not alienating our allies and the rest of the world. That's what they said during the Bush Years, but they didn't care enough about that to stop Assange.

The “Palin is Too Polarizing & Unelectable” Myth: They Also Said That About Another GOP Candidate

Now that 2010 is behind us, and the most important Presidential election in our lifetime is on the horizon in 2012, and the focus is on who the Republican Party will nominate to take on the Worst President in US History, Barack Hussein Obama.

Among the possibilities mentioned is 2008 Vice Presidential nominee and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin. Do I think she is electable, not just as GOP nominee, but as President? You betcha!

However, I’ve seen some conservatives voicing their doubts online and in conversations. Not helping matters among potential voters is the Obama lapdog media, who rise from their sleep every morning asking how they can best help President Obama that day. Part of that job is to attack the Palin mystique. And they have a lot of willing helpers among Republicans.

Michael Reagan, the son of the greatest President of the 20th Century, Ronald Reagan, stated recently his observation that Palin was “polarizing,” never mind that the younger Reagan welcomed her arrival in 2008 as his father coming back in a dress. It doesn’t help matters that the country club, good old boy wing of the Republican Party—in the form of George H.W. and Barbara Bush, Karl Rove, and others, scoff at the notion of a Palin candidacy and feel she should “stay in Alaska.”

What these observations are based on, I have no idea. With all respect to many conservative/Republican friends, I’d like to make the following arguments. Governor Palin certainly has the executive experience to be President—she was governor of America’s largest state and also the mayor of her hometown. Barack Hussein Obama doesn’t have that kind of experience. In fact, his resume for his candidacy was thin compared to Palin’s. Being a governor or mayor means you cannot vote “present.” You have to be decisive.

Which begs the question…if Sarah Palin really is that much of a horrible candidate for President, then why is the Obama Lapdog Media obsessed with her? Why have liberals connected to Obama been so intent on destroying this woman for the past two years if she’s so “unelectable” and the worst person the GOP could nominate in 2012? Furthermore, who are these liberals and their media allies to tell us conservatives who to select as our candidate?

It’s all because liberals and the Country Club Republicans are scared to death of Sarah Palin, because she is a threat to both of them. Thus, because both these groups hate her, she is discounted as “unelectable” and “polarizing,” in the hopes that primary voters will walk away from her. Never mind that Obama, Pelosi and Reid have polarized this nation like no other politicians in American history by pitting one group against another.

Liberals fear Palin because she is the one GOP candidate who has appeal and can draw a crowd. People are attracted to her because she is one of them and speaks their language. If you met her on her 2009 book tour, more than likely, you also met her father, her husband Todd, some of her children and other relatives. As a political observer and commentator, this told me a lot about her as a person and it raised her stock even more in my eyes.

As a politician, Sarah Palin owes her place to no one but herself. She did not get to be Governor of Alaska or Vice Presidential nominee because of who her father was, or the man she married. She got there on her own merits. There is no doubt this is a threat to the Democrat Party’s stranglehold on the women vote.

The Country Club Republicans cannot stand Palin because they’ve been in her sights several times, as Governor of Alaska and during the 2010 mid terms. She endorsed several candidates (some of whom I didn’t agree with) who took on the establishment, “business as usual” crowd. That didn’t sit well with those in the good old boy network like Murkowski family or Karl Rove, but then again, it was people like Rove who nearly destroyed the GOP with the vision of “compassionate conservatism,” which is the kind of thinking that Ronald Reagan railed against in a 1975 CPAC speech:
A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency, or simply to swell its numbers.
It’s those “blue bloods” today, who pushed oxymoronic “big government conservatism” while claiming the era of Reagan was over, that dismiss the idea of a Palin candidacy. It’s somewhat funny, because the “blue blood” country club types were the same ones who also dismissed the idea of a Ronald Reagan candidacy for President.

Yes, it’s true. Despite the great love and reverence for our 40th President, Ronald Wilson Reagan put up with the same pessimism in the late 1970s and 1980s that Sarah Palin now faces. For proof, I recommend you buy (or check out at the library) Craig Shirley’s in-depth look at the 1980 campaign, Rendezvous with Destiny: Ronald Reagan and the Campaign that Changed America.

Shirley noted that Reagan, in the spring of 1979, was not the candidate of choice of the establishment GOP. It was former Texas Governor John Connolly, followed by Tennessee Senator Howard Baker and then former Ambassador George H.W. Bush. Reagan’s poll numbers weren’t very high during 1979. In fact, that Thanksgiving, polls showed Reagan losing the Presidential election to not only incumbent (and second worst President to Obama) Jimmy Carter, but the Hero of Chappaquiddick, Ted Kennedy. One-termer Gerald Ford preferred Bush or anyone else for the 1980 GOP nominee over Reagan, much like one-term Bush 41 recently stated he liked Mitt Romney as the 2012 nominee. Reagan was also seen as too right wing, as well as too old.

OK, you might reply, but several of Palin’s favored candidates lost in 2010. True. But Reagan has his downfalls in between 1976 and 1980. He led the unsuccessful campaign against Carter’s Panama Canal Treaty in 1977-78. One unsuccessful 1978 congressional GOP primary candidates Reagan supported is known only because he was defeated by a young George W. Bush.

Who will run in 2012 is anybody’s guess. Perhaps Sarah Palin may decide that her political future doesn’t include a run for the White House. All I know is that the GOP needs someone in 2012 who offers “bold colors” instead of the “pale pastels” of establishment favorites. Maybe it won’t be Sarah Palin, but shouldn’t she be afforded the chance to make her case, if she decides to be a candidate?

Perhaps it’s a “Mama Grizzly” who America needs to undo the damage that has been done over the last 21 months of the Obama Regime.

Another Act Of Jihad Prevented....In Liberal Portland, OR

Thumbs up to the FBI for a job well done, and another reminder of how violent jihadists are still at war with us (Oregonian).
The FBI thwarted an attempted terrorist bombing in Portland's Pioneer Courthouse Square before the city's annual tree-lighting Friday night, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Oregon.

A Corvallis man, thinking he was going to ignite a bomb, drove a van to the corner of the square at Southwest Yamhill Street and Sixth Avenue and attempted to detonate it.

However, the supposed explosive was a dummy that FBI operatives supplied to him, according to an affidavit in support of a criminal complaint signed Friday night by U.S. Magistrate Judge John V. Acosta.

Mohamed Osman Mohamud, 19, a Somali-born U.S. citizen, was arrested at 5:42 p.m., 18 minutes before the tree lighting was to occur, on an accusation of attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction. The felony charge carries a maximum sentence of life in prison and a $250,000 fine.

...According to the FBI affidavit, the case began in August 2009 when Mohamud was in e-mail contact with an unindicted associate overseas who was believed to be involved in terrorist activities. In December 2009, while the unindicted associate was in a frontier province of Pakistan, Mohamud and the associate discussed the possibility of Mohamud traveling to Pakistan to participate in violent jihad.

The associate allegedly referred Mohamud to a second associate overseas and provided him with a name and e-mail address. In the months that followed, Mohamud made several unsuccessful attempts to contact the second associate.

Ultimately, an FBI undercover operative contacted Mohamud in a June 2010 e-mail under the guise of being an associate of the first unindicted associate.

Mohamud and the FBI operative agreed to meet in Portland a month later. Mohamud allegedly told the FBI operative that he had written articles that were published in Jihad Recollections, an online magazine that advocated holy war.

Mohamud also indicated he intended to become "operational," meaning he wanted to put an explosion together but needed help. The two met again in August 2010 in a Portland hotel.

"During this meeting, Mohamud explained how he had been thinking of committing some form of violent jihad since the age of 15," the affidavit says. "Mohamud then told (the FBI operatives) that he had identified a potential target for a bomb: the Christmas tree-lighting ceremony in Portland's Pioneer Courthouse Square on Nov. 26, 2010."

The FBI operatives cautioned Mohamud several times about the seriousness of his plan, noting that there would be many people, including children, at the event, and that Mohamud could abandon his plans at any time with no shame.

"You know there's going to be a lot of children there?" an FBI operative asked Mohamud. "You know there are gonna be a lot of children there?"

Mohamud allegedly responded he was looking for a "huge mass that will ... be attacked in their own element with their families celebrating the holidays."

Mohamud dismissed concerns about law enforcement, explaining that, " ... It's in Oregon; and Oregon, like, you know, nobody ever thinks about," according to the affidavit.
What is interesting is, in the comments section of this paper, how there are still liberal fools that think this has nothing to do with Islam. Of course, you can't educate the idiots that this attempted attack is proof of how Muslims view this is a religious war.

Even more frightening, it's becoming apparent that the Islamofascists war against the West is now moving into our cities and to our malls.

Sarah Palin Slices Obama's Lapdog Media Like A F'n' Hammer

If you don't know the source of the implication in the headline, please listen to this classic rant by crooner Paul Anka on his band members for wearing t-shirts ("The guys get shirts") and sloppy endings to songs (WARNING - explicit language).

Yesterday, Sarah Palin took on the Obama lapdog media, who took a slip of the tougue she made (and quickly corrected) about North vs. South Korea.
My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that

Of course, the paragraph above is based on a series of misstatements and verbal gaffes made by Barack Obama (I didn’t have enough time to do one for Joe Biden). YouTube links are provided just in case you doubt the accuracy of these all too human slips-of-the-tongue. If you can’t remember hearing about them, that’s because for the most part the media didn’t consider them newsworthy. I have no complaint about that. Everybody makes the occasional verbal gaffe – even news anchors.

Obviously, I would have been even more impressed if the media showed some consistency on this issue. Unfortunately, it seems they couldn’t resist the temptation to turn a simple one word slip-of-the-tongue of mine into a major political headline. The one word slip occurred yesterday during one of my seven back-to-back interviews wherein I was privileged to speak to the American public about the important, world-changing issues before us.

If the media had bothered to actually listen to all of my remarks on Glenn Beck’s radio show, they would have noticed that I refer to South Korea as our ally throughout, that I corrected myself seconds after my slip-of-the-tongue, and that I made it abundantly clear that pressure should be put on China to restrict energy exports to the North Korean regime. The media could even have done due diligence and checked my previous statements on the subject, which have always been consistent, and in fact even ahead of the curve. But why let the facts get in the way of a good story? (And for that matter, why not just make up stories out of thin air – like the totally false hard news story which has run for three days now reporting that I lobbied the producers of “Dancing with the Stars” to cast a former Senate candidate on their show. That lie is further clear proof that the media completely makes things up without doing even rudimentary fact-checking.)

“Hope springs eternal” as the poet says. Let’s hope that perhaps, just maybe, they might get it right next time. When we the people are effective in holding America’s free press accountable for responsible and truthful reporting, then we shall all have even more to be thankful for!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

That's what's so great about Sarah Palin, she throws it back in their faces with a smile on her face.

Overrated, Draft-Dodging Rock-n-Roller Bruce Springsteen Bashes Obama Opponents In British Press

Bruce Springsteen, one of the most overrated pop musicians, as well as a paid whore for George Soros/ in their 2004 Vote for Change tour for John "Lurch" Kerry, is attacking Americans who dare to oppose the socialist regime of Barack Hussein Obama in the British Press. (The Telegraph, via Gateway Pundit).

The 61 year-old rock legend, a high-profile supporter of the US President, railed against critics for their use of the “most extreme language” to describe “the most modest reforms” being introduced by Mr Obama.

..."There's a widespread political consciousness that's perhaps deeper in Europe than it is in the States,” he told the Sunday Times magazine.

“The climate [in America] is very, very ugly for getting things done. The moderate reforms President Obama fought to make are called Marxist, socialist.

“I mean, the most extreme language is put into play to describe the most modest reforms that would move the economy back towards serving a majority of its citizens.”

The most extreme language? Hmmmmmmm...let's flash back to 2007.

"I think we've seen things happen over the past six years that I don't think anybody ever thought they'd ever see in the United States....When people think of the Unites States' identity, they don't think of torture. They don't think of illegal wiretapping. They don't think of voter suppression....They don't think of no habeas corpus," (referring to Guantanamo Bay)

"Those are things that are anti-American. There's been a whole series of things that... I never thought I'd ever see in America,"
Bruce Springsteen is upset Americans aren't lining up and "drinking deep" from the vat of Obama's Kool-Aid.

Hey rich pop star asshole. Like I said back in 2007, all that stuff you railed about back then was directed at those who attacked this nation, and who were plotting more attacks. Citizens and non-citizens who were captured on a battlefield and held because there was a war going on. But I guess you never learned about previous wars, because you skipped US History class to play your banjo and smoke your dope.

You know what I and many others never dreamed we'd see in America, Mr. Stringbean? We never thought we'd see private companies and banks being taken over by the government. We never thought we'd have our health-care system and the choice of doctors taken over by the government.

More recently, we never thought we would see law-abiding American citizens--including the elderly and young children--being sexually harassed just because they are boarding an airplane, while the government is willing to cave to Muslim grievance organizations and let those wearing burkas pat down themselves. You all the other phony liberals were all upset during the Bush years about the poor terrorists being mistreated, but you don't have crap to say when Americans are being treated to police state conditions at a TSA line, you jerkoff!
Let me remind you of what you said in 1985, how "blind faith in your leaders or any anything, will get you killed." Well, speak for yourself, as you blindly follow The Obama Regime on the road to the United Socialist States of America.

So piss on you, Bruce Almighty! Because you earned your wealth off the working class, here's to hoping that your new album flops, since most working Americans have either not much disposable income or are unemployed.
And I never considered you "The Boss" either! I'm glad I never wasted a penny on your CDs of constipated yodeling.

Springsteen is also an admitted draft dodger: He told Rolling Stone in 1984:

I did the basic Sixties rag, you know: fillin’ out the forms all crazy, not takin’ the tests.”

Rush Limbaugh: TSA Gate Rapes Show Islamofascists That America "In The Process Of Surrendering"

From Rush Limbaugh's radio show yesterday, "Who Benefits from All This Authoritarianism in America?"

More that was not included on the above video....
I look at what's happened to this country in two years, and a lot of it is stuff that I would have said to people, "Nah, it will never happen," this much loss of liberty, the crashing of the housing market, the indebtedness, loss of private property rights. We're witnessing the destruction of our country. We're witnessing the rejection, the assault on individual liberty, right in front of our eyes. Go to the airport, you see it. And even that's all a trick. That's designed to get us to agree to go to these scanners.

Meanwhile, the people perpetrating these crimes are ignored. We don't want to hurt their feelings. The rest of us are humiliated. Those of us who love our country and
haven't done a damn thing to it, are humiliated. Our children, three years old, strip searched. Now, we want strong security, no question, very strong security, but this is not security at the airports. This is harassment, pure, simple harassment. This is the regime telling us our future. This is the regime telling us what it's going to be like, and it's interesting that it's happened only in the last several months, isn't it? Last several weeks, actually. The same regime that refuses to try a terrorist who murdered hundreds of people in a military tribunal goes to a civilian court and who averted a catastrophe by a single guilty verdict and was found not guilty on 247 charges? A government that refuses to try a suspect like that in a military tribunal cannot be said to be serious about security. Everything's for show. The regime says, "Don't worry about it, we're never gonna let the guy go." Well, then why have the trial? If the guy had been exonerated, found not guilty of all charges, and we're not gonna let him go, what does that say about the vaunted American judicial system to Middle Eastern Arab males? What does it say? Why do we care what they think about our judicial system anyway? When did this become a measure of American might, power, all this restraint.

Middle Eastern Arab males kill 3,000 Americans on one day, have killed numerous thousands of soldiers and Americans over decades, and innocent American citizens are humiliated at airport checkpoints. We treat mass murdering pieces of human debris with kid gloves. Law-abiding passengers are treated as legitimate, genuine murder suspects. You cannot tell me this regime is serious about security. That's not what is going on at the airport. What's going on at the airport is the humiliation of the
American people, and it is sending a signal of a weakened America, no credibility in the Muslim world. We're sending a message that we are a vulnerable country in the process of surrendering. That is how they're going to see it. Whether we are in the process of surrendering or not, that's how they will see this. Look at it through their eyes. They hijack three or four airplanes, they murder 3,000 Americans. Ten years later, nine years later, the American people are strip searched, groped, accused, harassed at our own airports, and they sit in their caves or wherever they are, these Middle Eastern Arab males, and they gotta be yukking it up and laughing and planning further attacks, further efforts that will handcuff American society even further.

Now, don't misunderstand me; there ought to be screenings and scanners and even pat-downs. But not like this. Not when we know who the enemy is. We know their approximate ages. We know who they are. We know what they look like. We know what national origins most of them come from. We know these things. That's why we have intelligence agencies. Those agencies profile those countries all the time. For some reason when it comes to air travel we are to suspend all logic and reality and pretend that everybody is the same regardless of these factors. And then we claim to be serious about security. So again, young male Muslim Arabs use box cutters on 9/11 so now everybody has to be checked for sharp objects. Young male Muslim Arabs have tried to get liquid explosives on airplanes, so now everybody has to be checked for liquids. You have to empty your shampoo, for crying out loud. You can only take three ounces of other liquids. Young male Muslim Arab puts explosives in his underwear. Now everybody has to be groped.

We're missing the obvious things to check for. And I'll tell you this. Obama and his family will never experience any of these hardships that he is imposing on the rest of us. Neither will Nancy Pelosi or Harry Reid. They don't fly commercial. They're already very wealthy. Their children will be cared for. There is a complete disconnect. Haves and have-nots is no longer the rich and poor. Have and have-nots, those who are working for the government and run the government, and those who don't.
Something that has been on my mind in reading all these stories. Remember how, during the Bush Years, the Democrats, the libs and all the phony civil libertarians complained about the "warrantless wiretapping" the "military tribunals," "indefinate detentions" etc? They claimed it was proof of Bush = Hitler and how he was turning America into a police state. The quote from Benjamin Franklin "Those who would give up liberty for the sake of security deserve neither" was thrown in our faces. All these terror fighting tools were being directed not at all Americans, but those suspected of terrorism or terrorist ties.

And yet today, under the Regime of a radical Leftist President and rubber stamp Congress, American citizens are treated as terrorists for the sole crime of buying an airplane ticket and these phony liberals are silent.

North Korea Shells South Korea Once Again....

This is something to be keeping our eyes on (CNN).

Given the weakness displayed by the current administration, is it not surprising that the North Korean communists feel emboldened to start this aggression?

Westboro Inbred Goons Chased Away From Soldier's Funeral By A Mass Of Patriots

This is great and a must see! From KMBC.TV, click on this link to see the video (many thanks to Mrs. MIM for sending).
There was a brief scuffle Tuesday morning between members of the Westboro Baptist Church and hundreds of people who turned out to support the family 20-year-old Jacob Carver.

Carver was recently killed by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan. His funeral is today.

Many people said they were attending Carver's funeral to block protesters from the Topeka, Kan., church.

There appeared to have been some shoving between some of the protesters and church members. Police were able to break it up. At one point, the van belonging to Westboro members was surrounded. But they were able to leave the area without any further confrontation.
Out of curiousity, who is funding these inbreds? I find it hard to believe that this small family who call themselves a Baptist Church can go around the nation protesting on a whim.

TSA Screenings = The New Town Hall

Prof. Jacobson at Legal Insurrection is right on the money in this post about the TSA "gate rapes" being "the new Town Hall."
I mostly agree with Doug Mataconis that Obama is completely tone deaf on this issue:

Obama’s response strikes me as being politically tone deaf. In the face of outrage over Americans being groped by TSA agents, children being man-handled in a bizarre procedure that makes no logical sense, and people being exposed to the humiliation of having prosthetic breasts removed or being covered in their own urine, Obama’s “Too bad, you’ve gotta do it anyway” response is a sign of how far removed from reality the Presidency makes a person.

I disagree with that last clause, however, because not all Presidents would fail to feel the people's pain. The aloofness of this President is unique.

The TSA screening line is the new Town Hall.

Citizen reporters have been filming TSA screenings and posting the videos on YouTube, much like citizen reporters filmed arrogant Congressmen treating Town Hall participants dismissively and arrogantly.

And there is another connection between the TSA screenings and the Town Halls.

The frustration which boiled over in the summer of 2009 was a reaction to fears about giving the federal government the ultimate power over our bodies through the control of health care.

The TSA screening fiasco should remind people of why they opposed government control of health care.
The TSA screenings are also another example of how liberals treat law abiding Americans as the perpetrator, for the crime of flying on an airplane for a business trip or the Thanksgiving/Christmas holidays; all for the sake of protecting groups (Islamic jihadists) who have committed acts of terrorism on airplanes because "we don't profile."

Need more of an example of how Pistole has tried to protect Islamic terrorists? Gateway Pundit found the following.

Pistole and Valerie E. Caproni were the two FBI officials who approved a memo laying out the FBI’s policy on the limits to the interrogation of captives taken during the United States’ war on terror. The memo was from the FBI’s General Counsel, to all offices, explaining that FBI officials were not allowed to engage in coercive interrogations; FBI officials were not allowed to sit in on coercive interrogations conducted by third parties; FBI officials were required to immediately report any instances of suspected coercive interrogation up the FBI chain of command.
In other words, protect the terrorists because we don't want to offend Islamists.

Meanwhile, instead of not offending them, the Islamofascists are laughing at us.

The new edition of al Qaeda's glossy magazine, Inspire, discusses last month's plot to down cargo planes with bombs hidden in printer ink cartridges, and a successful Sept. 3 UPS aircraft bombing in Dubai. These new techniques were born after underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab failed to detonate his explosive on Northwest flight 253 last Christmas. Since then, the terrorists say they "have been experimenting with ways to bring down airplanes. ... We looked into X-ray scanners, full-body scanners, sniffing dogs and other aspects of security."

The magazine includes technical details of how to construct weapons that will avoid X-ray and chemical sniffer detection, enabling other jihadist groups to try them out. An al Qaeda press release stated, "It is our plan to disseminate the idea to the mujahidin worldwide and to expand its deployment onto both civilian aircraft in the West as well as cargo aircraft."

"Operation Hemorrhage" - al Qaeda's name for the ink-cartridge attacks - cost only $4,200, which they claim "will without a doubt cost America and other Western countries billions of dollars in new security measures. That is what we call leverage." The fact that the attacks failed is irrelevant; the underwear bomber didn't detonate his bomb but the Obama administration went off the deep end in response. It is "such a good bargain," al Qaeda explains, "for us to spread fear amongst the enemy and keep him on his toes in exchange of a few months of work and a few thousand bucks."
Pistole, Janet "The System Worked" Incompatano and the rest of the Obama Regime are doing their best to help the terrorists win, while making Americans feel more inconvenienced and insecure.

OUTRAGE: Victory Mosque Developers Want American Taxpayers To Pay For Their 9/11 Desecration

The latest outrage in regards to the Ground Zero Victory Mosque. The developers want the American taxpayer to pay for their monument to Mohammed Atta and his 18 fellow jihadists (NY Post).
The developers behind the proposed Ground Zero mosque have applied for about $5 million in federal grant money set aside for redeveloping downtown Manhattan after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, according to a new report.

The application was submitted as a "community and cultural enhancement" grant, which is a program run by the Lower Manhattan Redevelopment Corp.

Developer Sharif El-Gamal discussed the grant proposal in recent closed-door meetings, according to The Daily Beast.

The revelation that the developers have asked for this grant could reignite outrage about the mosque's proposed location.

"If Imam Feisal and his retinue want know why they're not trusted, here's yet another reason,” Irshad Manji, author of "The Trouble with Islam" and director of the Moral Courage Project at NYU, told The Daily Beast. “The New Yorkers I speak with have questions about Park51. Requesting money from public coffers without engaging the public shows a staggering lack of empathy—especially from a man who says he's all about dialogue."

Remember that Victory Mosque developer El-Gamal was recently at the fundraiser for the Hamas-linked CAIR, who is also an unindicited co-conspirator in the Hold Land Foundation terror funding case.

I'll bet Barack Hussein Obama will be willing to approve the grant.

If one penny of American taxpayer money goes to fund this outrage, the new Congress should immediately put a stop to it.

Most Recent FBI Stats Again Debunk Myth Of Rising Anti-Muslim Bias Crimes

Jonathan S. Tobin writes at Commentary:
Though the success of this claim of Muslim victimhood was largely the result of successful propagandizing by groups such as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which is dedicated to promoting the idea that the United States is a foe of Islam, it has become a commonplace assumption that a post-9/11 anti-Muslim backlash was real and that anti-Muslim attacks in this country are a widespread and persistent phenomena. It is this assumption that was the foundation for the belief that a Ground Zero mosque dedicated to reminding Americans not to think ill of Muslims was not only appropriate but also necessary.

...The release of the latest FBI report on hate crimes this week adds more weight to the doubts raised about the mythical backlash against Muslims. The new statistics published on the U.S. Department of Justice website show that there were only 107 reported incidents of anti-Islamic hate crimes in the country during 2009. While each incident (not only actual crimes are reported, as the total published by the FBI includes all those reported or alleged without respect to whether or not the crime was proved to have occurred) is deplorable, this represents only 8 percent of all religious-based bias crimes and less than 2 percent of hate crimes tabulated last year.

Even more to the point, the number of anti-Jewish hate crimes dwarfed again the number of anti-Islamic attacks, as they have every year since such statistics were first kept: 931 anti-Semitic incidents, compared with 107 anti-Islamic incidents, a ratio of better than 8 to 1. The same was true in 2008, when the figures were 1,013 anti-Jewish incidents to 105 anti-Muslim incidents. Indeed, even in 2001, the worst year for anti-Muslim hate crimes, there were still more than twice as many anti-Jewish incidents as those with anti-Islamic motivations. Throughout this period, the vast majority of hate crimes motivated by religion have been directed against Jews, not Muslims.

Despite the constant drumbeat of incitement from those extremists purporting to represent the interests of American Muslims, anti-Islamic hate crimes remain rare occurrences. The idea that anti-Muslim bigotry is a dominant theme in American society or that violent haters have disproportionately victimized believers in Islam is simply without foundation. And far from giving sanction to such bigotry, the hallmark of American discourse since 9/11 has been a conscious effort to disassociate Islam from the war being waged against the West by Islamist terrorists. The new statistics provide fresh proof that the claim of an anti-Muslim backlash is unfounded.

OUTRAGEOUS! Young Boy Strip Searched By TSA

This video was found at Gateway Pundit.

As well as this one.

Yet Team Obama tell Americans they should just get in line, get their gropings and like them. Why? Because he doesn't want to offend Muslims.

Outraged yet, America?

Bush Family Gives Obama A Pass For Constantly Blaming W., But Attacks Sarah Palin?

I have less respect today for George H.W. and Barbara Bush after reading this (CNN).
Sarah Palin may not have the biggest fan in former first lady Barbara Bush.

"I sat next to her once. Thought she was beautiful," Barbara Bush said. "And she's very happy in Alaska, and I hope she'll stay there."

Bush, along with her husband, former President George H.W. Bush, spoke to CNN's Larry King in an interview set to air Monday.

President Bush discussed the Tea Party movement, and although he said "some of the ideas make a lot of sense," he said he isn't sure how the new movement will fit into the larger political landscape.
Let's remember one thing, Ronald Reagan wasn't really hot on the idea of adding Bush to the ticket, because he'd been the "country club Republican" establishment choice in 1980.

And one more thing President and Mrs. Bush, just whose side are you on? Over the last ten years, we've seen the worst sort of attacks by Algore, "Dingy" Harry Reid, and Barack Hussein Obama, and you've given them a pass. But now, you want to land a low blow at Sarah Palin?

George and Bar, I thought you both had more class than that, but I guess I was mistaken.

I'll have more about this later, but I'm getting pretty tired of this defeatist attitude towards Sarah Palin by some conservatives, who are buying into this propaganda from RINOs and the liberal media.

Liberal Feminazi Gloria Allred On TSA Pat Downs "I Liked It"

Liberal feminazi attorney Gloria Allred, who aided Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown's successful gubernatorial campaign, was on Sean Hannity's TV show and was asked about the invasive TSA "gate rapes" (video at Real Clear Politics, via Free Republic).

SEAN HANNITY, HOST: "Did they touch your body parts?"

GLORIA ALLRED: "Yeah, they did and it was a first time anybody touched them in a long time and frankly, I liked it.,"

I can understand why it's been a while Gloria hasn't been touched.

Obama Secretly Selling Arms To Saudi Arabia

This must explain the infamous "bowing" (ABC News).

The Obama administration has quietly forged ahead with its proposal to sell $60 billion worth of fighter jets and attack helicopters to Saudi Arabia unhampered by Congress, despite questions raised in legislative inquiries and in an internal congressional report about the wisdom of the deal.

The massive arms deal would be the single largest sale of weapons to a foreign nation in the history of the U.S., outfitting Saudi Arabia with a fully modernized, potent new
air force.

...But some critics are questioning the deal, and the stealthy effort by the Obama administration to avoid a more probing congressional review by notifying Congress last month, just as members were headed home for the November elections. Congress had 30 days to raise objections -- a review period that concludes Saturday. With most members leaving Washington today, any significant effort to block the deal appears dead for now, officials said.

"I do not think there will be any action" to hold up the sale, Rep. Howard Berman, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, told Bloomberg News Thursday.

Rep. Anthony Weiner, a New York Democrat, submitted a resolution this week to try and block the deal, and was among those who objected to the way the administration approached the required congressional review.

"Hiding this in a recess announcement is a sign of how unpopular it is," he said. "It's bad policy that now is further tainted by shameful process."
So much for the promise of "transparency" from the Obama Regime.

Anti-Military Senator Barbara Boxer Compares US To Iran, Pakistan & North Korea Over "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"

Barbara Boxer, that disgrace from Marin County, CA, rode to re-election on the basis of a phony endorsement from VFW-PAC (later dissolved) because of her alleged focus on veteran's affairs.

Some concern about veterans. Today, she attacked the US and the military for the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy, and went a huge step further than just regular criticism. This snotty-assed bitch actually compared the United States to Iran, North Korea and Pakistan (CNSNews).
Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) today likened the United States of America to Iran, North Korea and Pakistan because those nations also do not allow homosexuals in their militaries.

Boxer likened the U.S.A. to the Communist regime in North Korea, the Islamic regime in Iran and the Pakistani government at a press conference in which she called for repealing the ban on homosexuals in the military during the lameduck session of Congress, which is taking place now before the new members elected on Nov. 2 can arrive in Washington, D.C. and replace the members who are retiring or who were defeated.

“We now stand with this rule with countries like Iran, North Korea and Pakistan in banning gays and lesbians from military service,” said Boxer. “Our brave young men and women fight alongside allies like Australia, the United Kingdom and others who allow gays and lesbians to serve openly. Let’s not stand with Pakistan and with North Korea and Iran.”

Uh, two things, Babsie. First of all, we don't execute homosexuals in the street under government policy, as they do in Iran and all those other places. They enjoy the right to practice their lifestyle here in the America which you so hate. Second, "DADT" was established under your party's President, Bill Clinton, and you were a freshman senator when it was instituted. Where were you then?

It's not suprising this kind of crap eminated from Barabara Boxer. After all, it was revealed how she enabled treason by helping Code Pink send $600,000 in aid to the Iraqi terrorist stronghold in Fallujah, Iraq, during a time when US Marines were fighting the terrorist insurgents in that town, with some of the heaviest casualties the Marines had seen since Vietnam.

Boxer's staff refused to make the diplomatic letter available, and the national and California media ignored this bombshell story of a sitting US Senator enabling people who were helping those who were killing Marines in Iraq.

Thanks a lot, California.

And shame on you, Joey LIEberman, for allowing her to perpetuate her slander and not demand an apology!

Democrat Bully Bob Etheridge Loses His Race To Renee Ellmers

Chalk up another win, as a Democrat bully named Bob Etheridge goes down to defeat (WRAL):
Republican Renee Ellmers has unseated veteran Congressman Bob Etheridge, according to unofficial results of a recount in the tight race.

Etheridge, a seven-term Democrat, picked up six votes on Ellmers after voting results from 10 counties were tabulated a second time, but it was nowhere near enough to overcome her 1,489-vote lead following the Nov. 2 election.
Here's some goodbye music for Etheridge, words which help get him defeated.

"Who Are You, Bob?"

Apologists For Jim Jones' Peoples Temple Publish Article At Website Claiming The Marxist, Mass-Murdering Cult Similar to Tea Party Movement

Thirty two years ago today, Americans were shocked to hear of a mass murder/suicide in the jungles of South America, which also included the murder of US Congressman Leo Ryan (D-CA).

The maniac behind the deaths of 912 people (over 200 of which were children) was the "Rev" Jim Jones, who led the Peoples' Temple "Church" in San Francisco.

But Peoples' Temple wasn't a "church," it was a Marxist cult that led a communal existence. Warning signs were ignored for years (Glenn Beck radio show part 1 & part2), because the Temple "got by with a little help from their friends," who included the Bay Area and California's liberal elite.

Friends like re-elected 1970s California Governor Jerry "Moonbeam" Brown.

Martyred San Francisco Mayor George Moscone...

...and yes, gay martyr Harvey Milk, who wrote a letter to then President Jimmy Carter supporting Jones...

...and even wrote a handwritten note to the cult leader, stating his support was "written in stone."

In the years since, most of these liberal politicians, enabled by the media, have escaped scrutiny for enabling this madman. Some family members of those who were in the Temple, like Rebecca Moore, have emerged in recent years as apologists for the socialist commune that was People's Temple. Movies, plays, books have been written about the "good works" the Temple put on, as well as the "integrated" nature of the Temple, despite the fact that Jones can be seen as having killed more blacks at Jonestown than any Grand Dragon of the Ku Klux Klan.

Despite the Marxist leanings of the Cult and their links to liberal politicians, these Temple apologists and other writers have tried to parallel Jim Jones' madness with conservative/Republican politicians like George W. Bush. Filmmaker Stanley Moore, David Parker Wise (writing at Moore's "Jonestown Report") and Jonestown survivor Tim Carter (in a radio interview) went down the "George W. Bush is like Jim Jones" road.

The misinformation continues this year, in another piece at The Jonestown Report, entitled, "The Extremes Are Sometimes Closer: Peoples Temple, the Tea Party, and Anti-Governmentalism Then and Now," by Dereck Daschke.

While the current “Tea Party” movement is both too geographically diffuse and focused on congressional reform through party primary challenges to make a very exact analogy with Peoples Temple – or even the militant anti-government groups of the 1990s – there are several ways in which the Tea Party’s rhetoric and political concerns eerily echo those of their more strident ideological brethren, including Jim Jones. What’s interesting, however, is that while those various descriptions of the governmental threat are very much of a piece with each other, the Tea Party and Peoples Temple are on opposite sides from one another on several issues where they share concerns.

...While there has not been an outbreak of outright violence at any Tea Party rally or protest, the intimations are most definitely there. Signs and t-shirts advocating not only defiance of the federal government but the possibility of armed revolution have
been a defining aspect of those gatherings. They proclaim, “We came unarmed . . . this time,” as well as repeat Thomas Jefferson’s famous statement, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.” Some individuals not necessarily associated with the Tea Party movement but certainly ideologically of a piece with it appeared armed with handguns and automatic weapons at town hall forums on health care where the president himself was in attendance. Several Tea Party rallies have explicitly promoted gun rights as a check on government power by encouraging people to bring as many guns as possible. According to an article at from January 3 of this year, one protestor who wore a Tea Party shirt at a rally in New Mexico “said his loaded gun was a ‘very open threat’ to anyone who might ‘try to take over the country completely as a socialist communist [state].’” The Republican nominee for Senate in Nevada, Tea Party-affiliated Sharron Angle, suggested as much herself when she warned that “Second Amendment solutions” may be necessary if there is not sufficient changeover in Congress after the 2010 midterm elections.

By contrast, until the ill-fated day of Representative Leo Ryan’s intended departure from Jonestown, violence in the Peoples Temple community was arguably pervasive yet abstract and symbolic. Jones routinely underscored the deadly threat of the outside world, most notably the nuclear danger that prompted the moves to Ukiah, California and to Guyana. He also an asserted that torture awaited any defectors once they left the safe confines of the community (Moore, p. 158). At the same time, however, the acculturation to violence within Peoples Temple through the regular rehearsal of the White Night revolutionary suicides and the emotionally aggressive (many would say “abusive”) “catharsis sessions” had the effect of normalizing the
threat of violence from within. Whereas the fear of government interference in their lives has prompted Tea Party members to take a defensive stand directed outwardly against governmental representatives, including the president, the response of Peoples Temple was to use external threats as a means of social solidarity and, ultimately, an excuse for separation from the social-economic system they opposed. Still, while Jones and his ministry resided in California, he fairly actively engaged in politics, supporting and being supported by prominent figures in both parties in ways that Tea Party activists, who have successfully challenged even some of the most conservative Republicans in Congress for not being conservative enough, would never tolerate.

Perhaps, then, it is ironic that the murder of Representative Ryan, otherwise uncharacteristic of Peoples Temple’s anti-governmentalism, became the catalyst for the deaths of 917 other people. Yet it is also the point at which the Tea Party’s reactionary stance and Peoples Temple’s revolutionary one most likely overlap. For the Ryan murder, while occurring in a very different context than that which gives rise today’s anti-government rallies, is a chilling example of what that major party candidate for U.S. Senate called a “Second Amendment solution” to the perceived threat of federal intrusion into a cherished and, some would say, divinely ordained lifestyle. As much as the Tea Parties and Peoples Temple are to be found on the opposite ends of the spectrum on many issues, those issues themselves do in fact draw the two movements together. They are both examples of principled citizens highly motivated to right the wrongs in society perceived to have been perpetrated by the American federal government – by any means necessary, it is suggested. For all their differences, this may be a case where the maxim is true: sometimes the extremes are closer to each other than to the center.

For all his smearing of the Tea Party as advocating violent revolution, Dereck Daschke ignored the violence and assassination threats toward President George W. Bush from 2002-2009. More recently, Dylan Ratigan of MSNBC promoted a book by liberal cartoonist Ted Rall which advocated violent, Left wing revolution. Just today, John Podesta of the George Soros funded Center for American Progress suggested that Obama use military force to implement his socialist agenda against the will of the American people.

But that didn't make Dereck Daschke's radar, and there's a good reason. Daschke is a certified liberal Bush basher. He has written an essay, "A Destroyer Will Come Against Babylon: George W. Bush's Oracles Against the Nations," appearing in a new book "Cry Instead of Justice." Daschke, in a book entitled City of Ruins: Mourning the Destruction of Jerusalem Through Jewish Apocalypse, attacked the War on Terror after 9/11, including calling al-Queda in Iraq a "fantasy enemy."

And speaking of Kool Aid drinkers, it looks like Dereck has taken a major league swim in the Obama Kool Aid. Check out his "likes" section on his Facebook profile.

Daschke also wrote the following in the "City of Ruins" tome about "The Anointed One," in such glowing language similar to some of Jones' blinded worshippers of over 30 years ago.

If there has been mourning in the present for Americans, is there a vision of the future in the offing, one that will finally restructure and recover the country’s sense of itself in the aftermath of both 9/11 and a draining, misbegotten war set into motion by melancholic rage and vengeance? The 2008 presidential election certainly seemed at the time to have offered just such a vision in the campaign of Barack Obama. Obama, who spoke out against the war as an Illinois state senator, explicitly ran on a platform of change and hope that in many specific ways brought to light and rejected the melancholic compulsion to return to the initial wounded response that followed 9/11 and begat the Iraq War.

Here is the crux of what liberals like Daschke, and the Temple apologists like Moore, Carter, and others cannot understand about conservatives. They look for hope in a person or persons who set themselves up as having the answers to all of life's problems. The world would only be a better place if everyone gave this one person their blind faith unconditionally. That's how liberals fell for a smooth talker like Jones, and to this day look for other false idols to believe in, while demogauging those who believe in individuality as the real cultists.

As a contrast to Daschke's delusional word drool, David Conn, a man who first saw through the evil that was Jim Jones in the early 1970s, wrote an interesting piece in 2008 entitled "Jonestown: It's Portent Has Arrived."

Ethics Committee Recommends Censure (Read: "Slap On The Hand") For Tax Cheat Charlie Rangel

So much for Nancy Pelosi's promise to "drain the swamp." (Yahoo news).

The House ethics committee is recommending that 20-term Rep. Charles Rangel of New York be censured and pay any unpaid taxes for financial and fundraising misconduct.

The House will likely consider a censure motion after Thanksgiving. If it passes, Rangel would suffer the embarrassment of standing before his colleagues and receiving an oral rebuke by the speaker.

The five Democrats and five Republicans deliberated for several hours behind closed doors Thursday. Earlier, at a sanctions hearing, Rangel apologized for his misconduct but said he was not a crooked politician out for personal gain.
..and if you or I did what Rangel did, we'd be hauled off to jail.

What Our "Airline Security" System Has Become

Melanie Morgan posted an ad that Move America Forward did back in 2006 at her website.

The only thing missing was a strip search and pat down of the woman in the ad.

Which also reminded me of a scene in the not so successful sequel to Airplane.

At about 25 seconds in the above video. From Airplane II (1982).

Democrats to American Voters: "We Won't Hear You!" Elect Pelosi As Minority Leader

After a 62 seat loss in the mid-terms two-weeks ago, Democrats have shown America just how out of touch they are by selecting failed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi as House Minority Leader (Yahoo news).
House Democrats elected Nancy Pelosi to remain as their leader Wednesday despite massive party losses in this month's congressional elections that prompted some lawmakers to call for new leadership. Pelosi, the nation's first female House speaker, will become minority leader when Republicans assume the majority in the new Congress in January.

She defeated moderate Democratic Rep. Heath Shuler of North Carolina, 150-43, in secret balloting in a lengthy closed-door gathering of House Democrats in the Capitol.
Way to go Democrats! You've just illustrated the truest of points that fanantics (and arrogant ones at that) never can admit they are wrong.

US Embassy Bomber "Not Guilty" On All But One Count, Says Civilian Jury UPDATE: Obama InJustice Dept. "Pleased" At Verdict

Late breaking news coming tonight, illustrating why George W. Bush was right in establishing military tribunals to try these terrorist scum (Fox News).
Former Guantanamo Bay detainee Ahmed Ghailani was found not guilty on all but one charge Wednesday by a civilian jury in New York, in a case with ramifications for President Obama's policy toward Guantanamo and civilian trials for terror suspects.

Ghailani was acquitted in federal court on more than 280 charges in connection with the 1998 bombings of the U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, including one murder count for each of the 224 people killed. He was found guilty for only one charge, conspiracy to destroy government buildings.

Ghailani faces a minimum sentence of 20 years in prison and a possible life sentence. He will remain in custody and sentencing will take place at a future date.

The acquittal is seen as a major blow to the U.S. government, as Ghailani was the first former Gitmo detainee to be tried in a civilian courtroom. The case had been viewed as a possible test case for President Barack Obama administration's aim of putting other terror detainees -- including self-professed Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed and four other terrorism suspects held at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba -- on trial on U.S. soil.
To sum it up: it's more of a crime to destroy a government building than kill humans.

This is modern day injustice under the terrorist friendly Attorney General Eric Holder and Muslim sympathizer Barack Hussein Obama: Islamofascist terrorists get off light, while law abiding Americans get sexually harassed for the crime of flying on an airplane.

Weasel Zippers posts that the Obama InJustice Department is "pleased" with the verdict.

Flag Waving Bikers Escort Teenager To School Who Was Told Last Week To Remove Flag From His Bicycle

This is a wonderful sight (The Hope for America and KABC).

A Northern California boy was accompanied by dozens (????) of bike and motorcycle riders as he pedaled to school in Denair.

All the escorts had American flags on the backs of their bikes.

School officials recently told Cody Alicea, 13, that he couldn't ride his flag-decorated bike to school because some students were offended.

The action set off a firestorm of protest.

The superintendent has since reversed that decision and apologized. The school district is now facing a lawsuit from a civil liberties group.
Of course, it happens in Northern Commiefornia, where the way they view the flag is illustrated by the cartoon below (hat tip: Lora).

Former TSA Official: Pat Downs Violate 4th Amendment But Must Be Done Anyway

There's nothing like having a former government bureaucrat admit that the new security screenings are a violation of the Constitution, but must be done anyway (Three Fingers of Politics).
In a Nov. 15 interview with the Fox News Channel, former TSA Administrator Mo McGowan admitted that the newly instated TSA pat downs are a violation of the Fourth amendment and said, “Nobody likes having their Fourth amendment violated going through a security line, but the truth of the matter is we’re going to have to do it.”

McGowan left the TSA in 2009 and was the Assistant Administrator for the Office of Security Operations. There he was in charge or the largest non-military workforce in the U.S. Government. McGowan currently is employed by the Command Consulting Group, a private “international advisory firm.”

In the last few weeks the TSA has drawn the ire of both sides of the political spectrum over their use of full-body pat-downs. Many have claimed it has violated their Fourth amendment right, which guards against unreasonable search and seizures. Some have gone so far as to claim they might be committing sexual harassment.
You know what you could do...profile people most likely to be terrorists (and it's not 3 year old children or 70 year old Irish nuns).

Potential terror suspects, according to Janet Incompitano and the Obama DHS

But forget about it! Not only is our government worshiping at the altar of political correctness, but they're facing demands from the Muslim grievance mongers at CAIR (CNS News).
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has issued a travel warning to Muslim airline passengers on U.S. aircraft in response to the Transportation Safety Administration’s "enhanced pat down" policy that went into effect in late October.

CAIR said Muslims who object to full-body scans for religious reasons should know their rights if they are required to undergo a pat-down, including asking for the procedure to be done in a private place. In addition, CAIR offered a “special recommendation” for Muslim women who wear a hijab, telling them they should tell the TSA officer that they may be searched only around the head and neck.
But note that CAIR won't let them search in the crotch area, which is where the Christmas Day Fruit of the Loom bomber (a Muslim) was hiding his explosives.

Well, maybe next time I fly, I'll refuse a pat down on the basis of my Christian faith says only my spouse can touch me below the waist. I'm sure no exceptions will be made on those circumstances.

Happy Veterans Day

Thank you, to all Veterans and especially to members of my own family who served and sacrificed so that we all can enjoy the freedoms we take too much for granted. It is because of your service that I and others are free to express our opinions.

Thank you.

Westboro Scum Dishonor Veteran's Day At Arlington Cemetery; Patriot Guard & Freepers Counterprotest Phelps' Inbred Cult

Veterans and families of fallen soldiers attending the Veteran's Day Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery were greeted with hate filled signs from a few members of the Westboro "Baptist Church," more appropriately known as Fred Phelps' Cult of Anti-American Inbreds.

Fortunately, members of the Patriot Guard and others were there to stand in between the Phelps Cult and those coming to Arlington for Veteran's Day.

Across the street, countering the Phelps crowd as well, were members of the DC Chapter of

A couple of students from Georgetown University also joined the Freepers.

One man got out of his car and confronted the WBC scum....

He returned later with a Marine Corps flag, and the Phelps crew beat a retreat, as their protest permit was expiring.

They left Arlington Cemetery to the chants of "Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Goodbye!" as well as a series of one fingered salutes from the Patriot Guard.

A bagpipe player then came by and played a version of "Amazing Grace," thus cleansing the area from the stench of the Phelps Klan.

Attn. Sen. Jim Webb (D-VA) Your "Reagan Democrat" Talk Doesn't Fool Us! We're Coming For You in 2012!

David Paul Kuhn at Real Clear Politics has an interview with Virginia Democrat Senator Jim Webb in which Webb wants everyone (especially Virginians) to forget he's a liberal Democrat by masquerading himself as a "Reagan Democrat."
Jim Webb went to the White House last September. The Virginia senator was meeting with the president to discuss Guantanamo detainees. The conversation soon shifted to healthcare. "I told him this was going to be a disaster," Webb recalls. "The president believed it was all going to work out."

Democratic leaders broadly believed it was all going to work out. The stimulus, healthcare, cap and trade. Americans were to come around to the left side.

We're talking about why voters didn't come around. Webb is weighing my report the morning after the election: Democrats won the smallest share of white voters in any congressional election since World War II.

"I've been warning them," Webb says, sighing, resting his chin on his hand. "I've been having discussions with our leadership ever since I've been up here. I decided to run as a Democrat because I happen to strongly believe in Jacksonian democracy. There needs to be one party that very clearly represents the interests of working people ... I'm very concerned about the transactional nature of the Democratic Party. Its evolved too strongly into interest groups rather than representing working people, including small business people."

This is a decades-old rebuke, one uttered today by moderate Democrats like Webb. The balkanized coalition never came to recognize the vice of its virtues. Diverse interests sometimes severed it from the majority's interests. That fissure moved political tectonics by the 1980s. And we came to know these migrating voters by the president who won their favor.

Webb is a Reagan Democrat who returned home. He was Ronald Reagan's Navy secretary. Almost two decades later, he was the Democrat who scrapped out a win in Virginia.

Webb seems less at home today. He identifies himself as a Democrat. But he has few Democratic leaders to identify with. He won't say this. His criticism is discernibly girdled. He begins to tell a story about a conversation with a Democratic leader and pulls back. "I don't want to talk about that," he mutters. "I have had my discussions. I've kept them inside the house. I did not want to have them affect this election, quite frankly. I didn't want to position myself in the media as a critic of the administration."

...Democrats looked like McGovern on Tuesday. It was that bad historically, for congressional elections. The election's passage has liberated Webb (a little). He's privately raised issues throughout Barack Obama's tenure. Some frustration is tactical. He told Rahm Emanuel last June that the president should provide a "very specific format" for his vision of healthcare reform. It would have offset the, in Webb's words, "complex amorphous leviathan that bubbled up out of five committees."

"A lot of people in this country, when they look up here, they want to see leadership. They want to see credibility. And they are not always the same thing," Webb says. "The healthcare issue really took away a lot of the credibility of the new leadership--Obama particularly--the Reid-Pelosi-Obama trio."
Jim Webb is full of caca!

Webb was one of Obama's jokers who voted for the Obamacare bill in the Senate, right before the Christmas break.

Jim Webb is all about Jim Webb. He ran as a Democrat because he's a liberal at heart who ran in 2006 based on opposition to President Bush and the Iraq War. It was a gravy train liberal Democrats ran on that year. Webb acted like a disrespectful dick to President Bush in late 2006 when Bush asked how Webb's son (who was serving in Iraq) was doing? Webb's voting record is anything but "moderate" or "conservative." He has a 100 percent rating from NARAL, 85 percent ADA, and 75 percent SEIU ratings.

We're not fooled Jim Webb. We'll remember your vote for Obamacare!

By the way, here's what Ronald Reagan thought of Jim Webb, straight from his diary (2/22/88).

Pres. (Navy) Sec. Webb resigned over Navy budget cuts. I don't think Navy was sorry to see him go.

Virginia won't be sorry to see you go, either, when your liberal ass gets voted out of office in 2012, Sen. Webb!

E-Mails Show DOJ Political Appointees Pushed Abandoning Case of Voter Intimidation By New Black Panthers

One of the first things the new Congress needs to investigate is the role of Obama appointees and Attorney General Eric Holder in the dismissal of the case against the New Black Panthers in Philadelphia for voter intimidation.

Kristinn at FreeRepublic posted e-mails by these political appointtees at the Department of InJustice, who were involved in the case. These e-mails were obtained by Judicial Watch.
The new documents include a series of emails between two political appointees: former Democratic election lawyer and current Deputy Associate Attorney General Sam Hirsch and Associate Attorney General Thomas Perrelli. Both DOJ officials were involved in detailed discussions regarding the NBPP decision. For example, in one April 30, 2009, email from Hirsch to Perrelli, with the subject title “Fw: New Black Panther Party Update,” Hirsch writes:

I need to discuss this with you tomorrow morning. I’ll send you another email on this shortly.

If you want to discuss it this evening, please let me know which number to call and when.

These emails were put in further context by an updated Vaughn index obtained by Judicial Watch, describing NBPP documents the Obama DOJ continues to withhold. These documents, which were attached to the DOJ’s Motion for Summary Judgment filing, include a description of a May 13 email chain that seems to suggest political appointee Sam Hirsch may have been orchestrating the NBPP decision.

Acting DAAG [Steven Rosenbaum] advising his supervising Acting AAG [Loretta King] of DASG’s [Hirsch’s] request for a memorandum by the Acting DAAG reviewing various options, legal strategies, and different proposals of relief as related to each separate defendant. Acting DAAG forwarding emails from Appellate Section Chief’s and Appellate Attorney’s with their detailed legal analyses including the application of constitutional provisions and judicial precedent to strategies and relief under consideration in the ongoing NBPP litigation, as well as an assessment of the strength of potential legal arguments, and presenting different possible scenarios in the litigation. [Emphasis added]

Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Thomas Perez testified before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights that no political appointees were involved in the NBPP decision. Perez suggested that the dispute was merely “a case of career people disagreeing with career people.”

In fact, political appointee Sam Hirsch sent an April 30, 2009, email to Steven Rosenbaum (then-Acting Assistant Deputy Attorney General in the Civil Rights) thanking Rosenbaum for “doing everything you’re doing to make sure that this case is properly resolved.” The next day, the DOJ began to reverse course on its NBPP voter intimidation lawsuit.

Judicial Watch also obtained two email reports sent by former Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Loretta King to Attorney General Eric Holder.

The first report, entitled “Weekly Report for the Week ending May 8, 2009,” and sent on May 12, 2009, notes: “On May 15, 2009, pursuant to court order, the Department will file a motion for default judgment against at least some of the defendants” in the NBPP lawsuit. The report further notes that the New Black Panther Party for Self Defense “has been identified as a racist hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, the Anti-Defamation League and the founders and members of the original Black Panther Party.”

The second report, entitled “Weekly Report for the Week ending May 15, 2009,” and sent on May 18, 2009, demonstrates that the DOJ did an abrupt reversal on the NBPP issue: “On May 15, 2009, the Department voluntarily dismissed its claims”
against the NBPP and two of the defendants, the report noted. The DOJ moved for default judgment against only one defendant.

“It is now obvious to me why the Obama administration continues to be so secretive regarding the Justice Department’s decision to abandon its lawsuit against the New Black Panther Party. These documents show that not only was the Black Panther decision shamelessly politicized by the Obama administration but also that Obama officials lied to cover up the scandal. And these documents raise more questions about Attorney General Holder’s involvement. The American people need to know if racism and political favoritism are corrupting the nation’s highest law enforcement agency,” stated Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

The DOJ filed its lawsuit against the NBPP following an incident that took place outside of a Philadelphia polling station on November 4, 2008. A video of the incident, showing a member of the NBPP brandishing police-style baton weapon, was widely distributed on the Internet. According to multiple witnesses, members of the NBPP blocked access to polling stations, harassed voters and hurled racial epithets. Nonetheless, the DOJ ultimately overruled the recommendations of its own staff and dismissed the majority of its charges. Current and former DOJ attorneys have alleged in sworn testimony before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights that the Holder DOJ’s NBPP and other civil rights-related decisions are made on the basis of race and political affiliation.
