As I headed out of the Sheraton Crystal City to get back home for afternoon duties, I caught part of The Anointed One, Barack Hussein Obama's press conference on TV and in the car, listening to Chris Plante on WMAL.
What a pathetic excuse we have as the leader of the free world.
It was hilarious when I saw he said Democrats would win in November if the election were about the economy. What? Is he serious? Then, the question of the kooky "minister" who is threatening to burn Korans and 9/11 came up.
In all seriousness, if Barack Hussein Obama wants to do something to remember 9/11, here's my suggestion: you're presence is not needed at any 9/11 memorial service. You're simply unfit to speak at such a sacred event.
For the second year in a row as President, he won't go to New York to the World Trade Center site--he's only going to the Pentagon. I wouldn't criticize that if he decided to also head to New York. Why won't he go there, except for a taxpayer funded "Date Night on Broadway?" Is the Pentagon on the way for him to make tee time at the nearest golf course?
Listening to Obama talk about 9/11 today was an insult. He doesn't get it. All I heard from him was this blather about "tolerance" of religious differences, and how we all had a sense of unity right after. Not once did he mention the greatness of America, nor American exceptionalism. For one: he's too busy apologizing for America, either here or when he globetrots around the world on his apology tours. Second: liberals like Obama only look at Americans not as one people, but only by groups (race, creed, religion, sexual orientation, etc).
The elephant in the room is Islam...for that matter radical Islam. This regime is dangerously in denial. Neither Obama, nor Leon Panetta, will mention that Islam had anything to do with 9/11. Never mind that the hijackers screamed "Allah Akbar" (God is great) before smashing planes with passengers into their targets. Hell, for that matter, the Pentagon won't admit that Islam had anything to do with the Ft. Hood shooting, the attempted Christmas bombing, or the attempted Times Square bomber.
I don't need a lecture about unity from an empty suit who wrote how Americans needed to "engage, however, in the more difficult task of understanding the sources of such madness" which "grows out of a climate of poverty and ignorance, helplessness and despair." The same guy whose "minister's" response to al-Queda's attack on America on 9/11 was "America's chickens, are coming home, to roooooooooost!"
If you want the same unity that we had after 9/11, Mr. President, then why have you spent the last 19 months dividing this nation on national security matters? From your failed executive order to close Gitmo, the idea of freeing Gitmo detainees in America, giving Khalid Sheikh Mohammed a civil trial in New York, and now, the Ground Zero Victory Mosque, you've never hesitated to give 9/11 families and America the finger, always siding with those who attacked us on 9/11 at every opportunity, all in the name of appeasing radical Islam.
There's silence from this regime, however, when US troops are forced to burn Bibles in Afghanistan. He'll go after this idiotic minister for the stupid idea of burning Korans, but won't take on Imam Rauf for issuing America a veiled threat Wednesday night in regards to Victory Mosque opposition. The "War on Terror" phrase is retired, and 9/11 becomes "a national day of service" instead of a day of remembrance.
Which is why you are not worthy to talk about 9/11, Mr. President, and as far as I'm concerned, your presence at any 9/11 memorial event is not necessary.
