The "Unsaid Apology" To Japan; Apologist In Chief Sending US Rep To Hiroshima--PLUS Japan's WWII Brutality They've Never Apologized For

For the first time ever, a US representative will go to Hiroshima Japan on the 65th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb (Little Boy) on that city. The son of the pilot who dropped the airplane said his father would not have approved.

Paul Tibbetts piloted the Enola Gay (below, now displayed at the National Air & Space Museum - Dulles, VA), these photos were taken right after his death in November 2007.

James Tibbets, son of Brig. Gen. Paul W. Tibbets, Jr., says Friday’s visit to Hiroshima by U.S. Ambassador John Roos is an act of contrition that his late father would never have approved.

“It’s an unsaid apology,” Tibbets, 66, told from his home in Georgiana, Ala. “Why wouldn’t it be? Why would [Roos] go? It doesn’t make any sense.

“I know it’s the anniversary, but I don’t know what the hell they’re trying to do. It needs to be left alone. The war is over.”

Tibbets, whose father died in 2007 at the age of 92, said he receives dozens of calls from veterans every year around this time thanking him for his father’s service.

“‘If it wasn’t for your dad, I wouldn’t be here,’” Tibbets said many veterans tell him. “This has been going on since he dropped that bomb.”

Tibbets said he sees Roos’ impending visit — it will be the first time the U.S. has sent a delegation to the anniversary commemoration in Hiroshima — as an attempt to revise history.

“It’s making the Japanese look like they’re the poor people, like they didn’t do anything,” he said. “They hit Pearl Harbor, they struck us. We didn’t slaughter the Japanese — we stopped the war.”
That's because in Obama's eyes (and the Democrats) we are the enemy. Hell, read this section from Obama's book "Dreams from My Father," and the sermon his pastor, the Racist Rev. Jeremiah Wright, gave entitled The Audacity to Hope, which Obama said moved him to tears.
It is this world, a world where cruise ships throw away more food in a day than most residents of Port-au-Prince see in a year, where white folks' greed runs a world in need, aprtheid in one hemisphere, apathy in another hemisphere ... That's the world! On which hope sits."

And so it went, a meditation on a fallen world. While the boys next to me doodled on their church bulletin, Reverend Wright spoke of Sharpesville and Hiroshima, the callousness of policy makers in the White House and in the State House.
He learned this from at the feet of his mentor, the anti-American, racist hate-monger Jeremiah Wright.

Never mind that Japan has NEVER apologized for Pearl Harbor or the Bataan Death March, or other acts of barbarism, like the 1937 Rape of Nanking. Dec. 1937, the Japanese Army swept into the ancient city of Nanking. Within weeks more than 300,000 Chinese civilians and soldiers were systematically raped, tortured, and murdered - a death toll exceeding that of the atomic blasts of Hiroshima and Nagasaki combined. Nanking women were not only raped but brutally tortured and mutilated. Thousands of corpses of Nanking citizens were dragged to the banks of the Yangtse and thrown in. Japanese soldiers engaged in beheading contests to see who could behead 100 Chinese first. The beheadings have always been enjoyed by the Japanese who lined up the heads in rows. Many Chinese prisoners were buried alive. Others were used for bayonet practice. As the Japanese moved across China, they rounded up all the young men and executed them, while thousands of women were tied down and gang raped. The fact is that Japanese brutality in China and the Philippines is well documented. On April 10, 1942, the Bataan Death March began. There were over 140,000 white POWs in Japanese prison camps. Over a third died in captivity, either starved to death, beaten to death, or from some epidemic disease. Tens of thousands died from Japanese brutality. The Japanese treatment of POWs is the most brutal ever recorded. During WWII when the crewmembers of a B-29 were captured most were beheaded immediately or beaten to death.

I remember as a nine year old seeing the following photo in Life's Picture History of World War II, of a captured airman about to beheaded by a Japanese (looks similar to what the Religion of Peace (TM) does, doesn't it?).

As far as I'm concerned, Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Rotten Clinton (who approves of the visit) have slapped the faces of surviving World War II veterans, those who were killed fighting or training to fight that war and their families.

How far the Democrat Party fell from Harry Truman (the last Democrat to win a war) to the Party of Treason it is today.

Reading your article I find it very sad that you can't see the forest for the trees. I am a combat veteran, and I have been wounded three times in that war about forty years ago. It is in the past, and I don't relive it, nor do I expect my country to feel sorry for me, as you do. Open your mind up and get off of your one sided conservative single minded thinking. It sounds to me like you still hate, if you go to church, listen and practice what is preached.
