Restoring Honor Rally - Tomorrow, August 28

As I mentioned earlier this week, I'm going to hit the DC Metro from Northern Virginia to make the Restoring Honor Rally, with Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin et al, tomorrow.

I'm hearing stories already of tons of people coming into the area, hotel rooms being booked....and Leftist rabble rousers who are having a hissy fit about the time and place of tomorrow's event (Weasel Zippers).
Broadcaster Glenn Beck and tea party activists have a right to rally in the nation’s capital but not to distort Martin Luther King Jr.’s vision, the Rev. Al Sharpton said Friday.

Sharpton described the demonstration planned for Saturday by Beck and his supporters as an anti-government rally advocating states’ rights.

And he said that goes against the message in King’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech, in which the civil rights leader appealed to the federal government to ensure equality.

Beck’s “Restoring Honor” rally will be held at the Lincoln Memorial, where King delivered his speech exactly 47 years earlier.

Beck and other organizers say the aim is to pay tribute to America’s military personnel and others “who embody our nation’s founding principles of integrity, truth and honor.”

The broadcaster toured the site Friday as supporters cheered.
So the phony Reverend Al, the NAACCP (National Association for the Advancement of Certain Colored People) and a variety of leftist groups are having a counter-rally called "Reclaiming the Dream." In reality, Sharpton should call his rally "Hijacking the Dream." Because everything Big Al stands for is in contradiction to Martin Luther King Jr.

MLK's speech and activism wasn't about looking at people as members of groups. It was about bringing people together to look beyond skin color. Judging people by the "content of their character, not the color of their skin." That is not what race-hustlers like Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the NAACCP stand for today. They are grievance mongers who divide, instead of unite.

The NAACCP condemned the Tea Party for acts of alleged racism that never happened, yet they are marching with a guy who came to prominence promoting another hoax, the rape of Tawana Brawley. Sharpton has also used racially-charged slurs, including "white interlopers," "diamond merchants" (Jews), whom he suggested they “pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house” to settle the score. He even referenced "Greek homos" in one speech.

These leftist bigots are planning to march near the Beck rally. So, a word of advice to all. Be careful. Don't these those idiots provoke you to do something that they can get on camera, run to MSNBC and say "see how all those teabaggers really are?" In fact. Let's have an army of cell phones, Flip cameras and other recording devices to capture every move they make.

As for the ginned up "controversy" about the rally being held the same day as MLK's historic speech, it should be noted (and the Lapdog Media has ignored it), that one of the speakers is Alveda King, the niece of Martin Luther King Jr. She said recently that, if her uncle were alive today, he would attend the Beck rally and not the hijacking of his dream by Sharpton, et al.
