Daily Kos: 9/11 Attack Was No Big Deal

The Daily Kos, one of the biggest liberal blogs, and host to a convention where the entire Democrat leadership (Obama, Reid, Pelosi) have spoken, have published an article saying that the reaction to 9/11 was "out of proportion" and was no big deal, because more people are killed in car accidents (Sister Toldjah).

Yes, the 9/11 attacks were horrific, but they were more about optics than actual harm. The economy was already taking a hit before the Twin Towers fell. The reaction of the nation to seeing two major buildings in New York fall on T.V. has boosted the attack out of proportion. While the loss of even a single life is to be condemned and the devastation these deaths caused the families of those killed, more than this number of teens are killed every year in car crashes. These are also tragic losses but we do not make the kind of high profile issue of it that the 9/11 attacks are.
"Blood & guts? People jumping 110 stories to escape a fire? No big deal. How many people jump of bridges and buildings every year. MoveOn, nothing to see here." the mind of a Daily Kos liberal.

To the poster (Something The Dog Said) who wrote that, I say, why don't you have the courage to go to a 9/11 family member or a New York fire house and repeat your idiocy you dumb asshole! Stupid pricks like you would have gladly surrendered America to Japan or Germany in 1942, because about the same number of people killed at a Navy base in Hawaii was "no big deal."

Here's another example of Daily Kos douchebaggery, from 9/11/2008.
And a drunk liberal skank at a school in Arizona, thought dressing up as an airliner where people were unwillingly flown to their deaths was a hoot for Halloween.
No wonder these same liberals are crying "First Amendment" and "religious tolerance" over the opposition to the Muslim Ground Zero victory monument. The liberal Democrat left and ACLU finally found a "religion" they could worship on 9/11, because Islam hated America as much as they did, and anyone who doesn't think like them is a "right winger."

Remember too, how Kos founder Marcos Zuniga felt after four US contractors were murdered, their bodies burned and hung from a bridge in Fallujah, Iraq.
"Every death should be on the front page. Let the people see what war is like. This isn't an Xbox game. There are real repercussions to Bush's folly. That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries [sic]. They aren't in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them."
And the Democrat leadership (Obama, Reid, and Pelosi) not only have written for this blog in the past but also attends its convention?
