Obama Admin Surrenders War On Terror, Offers Plea Deal To Attempted NWA 253 Bomber

Not only is our military fighting with two arms tied behind their backs, but this White House and the Party of Treason have made it clear this weekend they've officially surrendered the War on Terror.

The Washington ComPost reports this morning that some counterrorism lackey named John Brennan is even saying a plea deal may be in the works for the "undie bomber," Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.
"We have different ways of obtaining information from individuals" in the criminal-justice process, Brennan said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "A lot of people . . . understand what they're facing, and their lawyers recognize that there is advantage to talking to us in terms of plea agreements, [and] we're going to pursue that." Brennan told CNN's "State of the Union" that other terrorism suspects have "given us very valuable information as they've gone through the plea-agreement process."
So that's the strategy of the Obama Administration. No waterboarding, but offer this guy a sweetheart deal, like a reduced sentence, an ice cream sundae or some other "pretty please" limpwristed request to these manics who are driven to kill as many Americans.

The ComPost also noted the criticism of this ridiculous strategy.

"...If we had treated this Christmas Day bomber as a terrorist, he would have immediately been interrogated military-style, rather than given the rights of an American and lawyers," Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) said on CNN. "We probably lost valuable information."

Sen. Joseph I. Lieberman (I-Conn.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, said it was a "very serious mistake" to send Abdulmutallab to federal court.

"He was trained, equipped and directed by al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula," Lieberman said on ABC. "That was an act of war. He should be treated as a prisoner of war, held in a military brig, questioned now, and should have been ever since apprehended for intelligence that could help us stop the next attack or get people in Yemen."

Lieberman and others questioned the administration's ongoing plans to close the military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and transfer or release about 200 remaining inmates there.

"If we don't stop the practice of releasing Guantanamo detainees to Yemen or to other countries . . . we're asking for even more trouble," said Sen. Kit Bond (Mo.), the senior Republican on the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, which has said it will begin hearings on the Christmas incident on Jan. 21. "I think there ought to be an immediate halt put to releases from Guantanamo."

Brennan called Guantanamo Bay "a propaganda tool for al-Qaeda" and countered that 532 Guantanamo detainees had been released by the Bush administration, including some who have subsequently appeared as senior officials in the al-Qaeda organization in Yemen. He said Obama has released 42, including seven Yemenis sent home.

So that's seven Yemenis and others who are free to go back, rejoin al-Queda and perhaps become the next undie bomber.

Brennan's assertion that Gitmo is "a propaganda tool for al-Queda" is also a steaming pile of horse manure. It only became one when the Democrat Party, the international Left wing and scum lawyers like Eric Holder's former law firm decided they wanted to protect the terrorists instead of American citizens. And let's face it, the only reason some of these people were released during the Bush years was because of people like Eric Holder's law firm, who decided to champion Islamic terrorists and release them to kill some more.

Gateway Pundit has a video of Bill Kristol from Fox News Sunday, saying that this Administration is "not serious about the War on Terror," and that closing the embassy in Yemen over the weekend was "a victory for al-Queda."

You want to talk about recruiting tools, Mr. Brennan? You and this failed Administration you work for just gave al-Queda a big one, with your pussy-wimp reaction to this terrorist attempt, including letting the terrorist lawyer up. An act of war is being treated like a petty theft by this Administration, all because they're afraid of offending Muslims. And, yes, there is no seriousness to the terrorism threat. "That one" is coming back from vacation one day early? Big whoop de do! Golf and waterboarding were clearly more important to Obama than our security, just like he's more interested in going to war with conservatives or Fox News than Islamofascists who are intent to kill as many Americans as possible. Hell, he cannot even say "Islamic terrorist." That tells a lot.

The terrorists see this as weakness and are emboldened. The actions of this administration signal to Islamofascists that it's open season on Americans again.
