Harry Reid's Racism: Obama Doesn't Have A "Negro Dialect" & Clarence Thomas Is An "Embarrasment" Who Can't Write

"Dingy" Harry Reid has issued an apology today for comments he made about Barack Hussein Obama, during a private conversation which was published in a book (Yahoo News, via Michelle Malkin).

The top Democrat in the U.S. Senate apologized on Saturday for comments he made about Barack Obama’s race during the 2008 presidential bid and are quoted in a yet-to-be-released book about the campaign.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada described in private then-Sen. Barack Obama as “light skinned” and “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one.” Obama is the nation’s first African-American president.

“I deeply regret using such a poor choice of words. I sincerely apologize for offending any and all Americans, especially African-Americans for my improper comments,” Reid said in a statement released after the excerpts were first reported on the Web site of The Atlantic.
Obama reportedly accepted his apology, directly opposite of how "That One" behaved in 2002 when, as Gateway Pundit has found, he was among those calling for Republican Trent Lott to step down after remarks made for Strom Thurmond. Such is the double standard, when it comes to Democrats. Ask Robert "Sheets" Byrd (white niggers) and Joe "Obama's clean & articulate" Biden.

This isn't the first time Harry Reid has made negative statements about blacks. In December 2004, responding to a question by the late Tim Russert on Meet the Depressed, he said the following about Supreme Court Judge Clarence Thomas.

I think that he (Thomas) has been an embarrassment to the Supreme Court. I think that his opinions are poorly written. I don't--I just don't think that he's done a good job as a Supreme Court justice.
If you want to see an embarrassment, Harry, I'd suggest you head to the nearest mirror and take a look.
