Conservatism Wins! Scozzafava Withdraws From NY 23 Race

We won the fight in the New York 23rd District race, as far-Left Republican DeeDee Scozzafava has dropped out of the race (Examiner.com).

It's official now, liberal New York Assemblywoman Dede Scozzafava has suspended her campaign as the Republican nominee to succeed Rep. John McHugh, R-NY, in the Empire State's 23rd congressional district.

Scozzafava released the following statement earlier this morning:

"Today, I again seek to act for the good of our community," Ms. Scozzafava wrote in a letter to friends and supporters. "It is increasingly clear that pressure is mounting on many of my supporters to shift their support. Consequently, I hereby release those individuals who have endorsed and supported my campaign to transfer their support as they see fit to do so.

...Scozzafava's wthdrawal came hard on the heels of a Sienna Institute poll showing her campaign had imploded in barely a week since her husband called the cops on John McCormack, a reporter for The Weekly Standard, who persisted in asking her questions about her support for abortion on demand and granting of legal rights on the basis of an individual's sexual preference.

Could it also be that people found out more about her links to ACORN, support for "card-check" legislation, and a tax and spend liberal in Republican clothing.

Attention GOP establishment & Newt "Conservative When I Hawk Books" Gingrich: Are you listening? RINO Candidates who support incremental liberalism are not wanted. What is needed is a return to Reagan Conservatism.

NJ Gov. Corzine's Campaign Staffer Arrested For Drug Possession In A School Zone

Virginia isn't the only state where there's an important election, and I wonder if this arrest of a campaign staffer to Gov. Jon Corzine might be a game changer (New York Post).

An official with New Jersey Gov. Jon Corzine's re-election campaign was arrested last night after cops found found ecstasy tablets wrapped and ready to be sold in his car, police said.

Jason Shih, 25, was pulled over by East Rutherford cops at about 11:30 p.m. last night because he was talking on his cell phone on Route 17, said Lt. Chris Conforti of the East Rutherford police. Officers wound up finding 19 "blue star" ecstasy tablets in Shih’s car, each wrapped in its own little plastic bag.

Shih -- who was stopped within 100 feet of Becton Regional High School -- also had "several hundred" empty plastic bags in his car, Conforti said.

Shih was identified as a deputy assistant director of Corzine's campaign. He was charged with possession of drugs, possession of drugs in a school zone, intent to distribute drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

In addition, he was charged with two motor vehicle violations – driving while using a cell phone and having drugs in his car.

Possession of drugs in a school zone? That's not something to sneeze at. For some reason, WABC in New York has scrubbed the story from their website. Why?

There's already reports of funny business in the New Jersey election. Jim Gerhaghty at Campaign Spot on NRO says Democrats are arguing to allow ballots with mismatching signatures to be counted.

Extra votes, in case they're needed to squeak out a victory? I wonder if the dead have moved to New Jersey to vote as well.

One Day After AP Reports 30,000 Jobs Created By Stimulus, White House Now Says 640,000 to 1 Million Jobs Saved By Generational Theft Act

Yesterday, the Associated (with Obama) Press actually did a bit of journalism.

The White House is promising that new figures being released Friday will be a more accurate showing of progress in President Barack Obama's economic recovery plan. It aggressively defended an earlier, faulty count that overstated by thousands the jobs created or saved so far.

Ed DeSeve, serving as Obama's stimulus overseer, said the administration has been working for weeks to correct mistakes in early counts that identified more than 30,000 jobs paid for with stimulus money. He said a new stimulus report Friday should correct many mistakes an Associated Press review found that showed the earlier report overstated thousands of stimulus jobs.

Yesterday, it was 30,000 jobs created by "That One." Today, the White House and media lapdogs are excitedly reporting that anywhere from 640,000 to 1 million jobs were "saved or created" by the stimulus.

Really? Tell that to Fairfax County, VA schools, who are still facing a budget shortfall and projecting even deeper cuts. Where's all that stimulus money saving teacher jobs in one of the best school districts in the nation?

Jake Tapper at ABC News did some math with the White House numbers. Here's what he found.

Assuming their number is right -- 160 billion divided by 1 million. Does that mean the stimulus costs taxpayers $160,000 per job?

Jared Bernstein, chief economist and senior economic advisor to the vice president, called that "calculator abuse."

He said the cost per job was actually $92,000 -- but acknowledged that estimate is for the whole stimulus package as of the end of 2010.

...DeSeve and Bernstein were not able to say how many of the 640,329 jobs were saved and how many were created. How do they know that government officials asking for stimulus funds to help prevent layoffs were legitimate?

"What we have to do is expect that our public officials are honest," DeSeve said. "I know that's a high bar."

In other words, these numbers are bovine excrement. Even See BS news said the numbers are "hard to believe."



So, just how many jobs were created by spending "half a million dollars to study social networks like FaceBook, and $219,000 to study the sex lives of female college freshmen?"

Another Brain Dead Pop Star: "In Many Ways, He's (Obama) Sent From God"

This is getting ridiculous, Godless liberals who look to "That One"as their Savior (Ace of Spades).

Sting isn't a religious man, but he says President Barack Obama might be a divine answer to the world's problems.

"In many ways, he's sent from God," he joked in an interview, "because the world's a mess."

...I can't think of any be better qualified because of his background, his education, particularly in regard to Islam," he said.

So is Gordo Sumner aka "Sting" (or Stink) implying that Obama can solve the world's problems because he is a Muslim?

But Stink doesn't stop there. Like other brain-dead pop stars, he attacks opposition to Obama, possibly many of whom have bought his records in the past.

"It's aggressive and violent and full of fear," he said of the backlash against Obama. "They don't want change, they want things to feel the same because they feel safe there."

Sting, 58, said he's hopeful that the world's problems can be dealt with, but is frustrated that "we seem to be living in a currency of medieval ideas."

"My hope is that we can start talking about real issues and not caring about whether God cares about your hemline or your color," he said. "We are here to evolve as one family, and we can't be separate anymore."

Sorry Stink! I don't think the people who attacked Lou Dobbs' house with gunfire were mobs of angry right-wingers. Nor is it Obama opponents who opine on TV about killing President Bush or organizing attacks on Sarah Palin's Facebook page.

As you may have heard, Barack Hussein Obama signed the supposed Hate Crimes Bill into law yesterday, which has also been called the "Pedophile Protection Act," as Democrats defeated Republican attempts to strip protection for pedophiles (Gay Patriot).

This morning comes news that the flamboyant and vocal Obama opponent, Pastor James David Manning of the ATLAH Worldwide Ministries, cannot post new video content on YouTube because of "hate speech."

Phony Pro-Life Democrat Bart Stupak: Says He'll Vote For Obamacare WITH Publicly Funded Abortions

Michigan Democrat Bart Stupak has publicly emerged as an opponent to Obamacare, due to the proposal to publicly fund abortions (LA Slimes).

Stupak is a nine-term representative, a Catholic and a former police officer, who's destroyed recent Republican opponents with up to 69% of the vote.

Stupak says he's run up against a stonewall with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other fellow Democrats in seeking to protect that 33-year-old ban in the evolving healthcare reform legislation.

He says he's got 40 fellow House members who stand with him, most of them who'll vote against any reform bill without the antiabortion protection. And Stupak asserts he's prepared to lose his job over this stand.

Well, that's all smoke and mirrors. A video at The Hope For America shows Stupak saying he'll vote for Obamacare, even with the public funding for abortions.



So much for his "principled stand." In the end, it's always "Party First" with Democrats.

House Dems To Announce Deal On Socialized Medicine Tomorrow: Now's The Time To Get Tor Work And Bury It!

House Democrats reached agreement Wednesday on key elements of a health care bill that would vastly alter America's medical landscape, requiring virtually universal sign-ups and establishing a new government-run insurance option for millions.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi planned a formal announcement Thursday morning in front of the Capitol. Lawmakers said the legislation could be up for a vote on the House floor next week.

...The final product in the House, reflecting many of President Barack Obama's priorities, includes new requirements for employers to offer insurance to their workers or face penalties, fines on Americans who don't purchase coverage and subsidies to help lower-income people do so. Insurance companies would face new prohibitions against charging much more to older people or denying coverage to people with health conditions.

Pelosi has also said the bill would strip the health insurance industry of a long-standing exemption from antitrust laws covering market allocation, price fixing and bid rigging.

The price tag, topping $1 trillion over 10 years, would be paid for by taxing high-income people and cutting some $500 billion in payments to Medicare providers. The legislation would extend health coverage to around 95 percent of Americans.

Never mind that polls show Americans don't want this crap sandwich, nor can our economy sustain this massive government growth or that Seasoned Citizens on Medicare will have their benefits cut.

This isn't about insuring the uninsured, as the liberals claim. It is about government gaining more power over the individual, forcing them into government socialized medicine.

Six Days Before Election Day, Two Polls Have McDonnell Up By Double Digits: Fairfax Times Acts Like DC ComPost, Endorses "Dirty" Deeds

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch:

Two new polls released this morning show Republican gubernatorial nominee Bob McDonnell with a double-digit lead over his Democratic rival R. Creigh Deeds.

A Virginia Commonwealth University survey shows McDonnell with an 18-point margin over Deeds among likely voters, while a Rasmussen poll conducted yesterday after President Barack Obama's visit to Norfolk puts McDonnell up 13 points.

Rasmussen's telephone poll of 1,000 likely voters, conducted Tuesday, shows McDonnell with 54 percent to Deeds' 41 percent with 4 percent undecided. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.

The Rasmussen poll was taken after Barack Hussein Obama's campaign swing to the Commonwealth to campaign for "Dirty" Deeds. According to the survey, Obama's appearance with Deeds was a turn-off.

Tuesday's Rasmussen survey asked voters if Obama's visit to Virginia to campaign for Deeds makes them more or less likely to vote for Deeds. Obama made a brief appearance at Old Dominion University in an attempt to energize voters who helped him win the White House. Twenty-four percent said they were more likely to vote for Deeds because of the visit, while 39 percent said they were less likely, 36 percent said it would have no impact and 1 percent was not sure.

Woooooooh! So much for the "anonymous sources" in the Administration and DNC, who expect us to believe that if Deeds loses, it's because he wasn't a strong candidate. Clearly, a loss by Deeds will be a repudiation of the Obama Administration and the far-Left overreach of the Democrat Party.

In more election news, the local Fairfax Times has become the mini-me of the Washington ComPost in their bias for the Deeds Titanic, (excuse me), campaign. In a news story, they mourn Deeds' chances of victory while endorsing the Drugstore Cowboy for governor.

If firm handshakes and strong oratory determine Virginia's next governor, Republican Bob McDonnell will reside in Richmond for the next four years.
If a legislative record that's long on substance and achievement means anything, Democrat Creigh Deeds is the better choice for the governor's office.

...One example: For many Fairfax residents, few issues matter more than transportation. Although most candidates do everything they can to avoid using the dreaded "T" word, Deeds has been candid in saying Virginia must raise taxes to solve a transportation deficit that will likely surpass $100 billion by 2030.

Deeds said he will consider raising the state's gasoline tax, which, at its current rate of 17.5 cents per gallon, is among the lowest in the nation.

Politically expedient? Definitely not, as confirmed by the latest polls. Honest? Absolutely.

In other words, the Fairfax Slimes' editorial board loves the idea of higher taxes, even during a recession when people are still losing jobs. So, if people aren't working, or travelling less, where's the revenue going to come for the highway fund?

Yeah, the higher taxes stratergery may be honest, but it worked well for Walter Mondale and Mikey Dukakis, who are currently residing in the "Where Are They Now?" file of the political history books.

One day after apologizing (when the pressure got too hot) for calling a female advisor to Ben Bernake a "K-Street whore," Rep. Alan Grayson was confronted by O'Reilly Factor producer Griff Jenkins (video from HotAirPundit).



While running like a sissy to the nearest elevator, Grayson pulled the usual liberal Fox News bashing, implying they weren't "reputable" because they didn't call his office for an appointment. I'm sure he'd have found every excuse not to make the appointment.

White House Once Again Being Used As Fundraising Tool. Can We Get A List Of The Donors?

It appears the only service Hillary Rotten Clinton may be providing Barack Hussein Obama is on how to use the White House as a tool for Democrat fundraising.

Fox News, via the Washington Times, reports:

During his first nine months in office, President Obama has quietly rewarded scores of top Democratic donors with VIP access to the White House, private briefings with administration advisers and invitations to important speeches and town-hall meetings.

High-dollar fundraisers have been promised access to senior White House officials in exchange for pledges to donate $30,400 personally or to bundle $300,000 in contributions ahead of the 2010 midterm elections, according to internal Democratic National Committee documents obtained by The Washington Times.

One top donor described in an interview with The Times being given a birthday visit to the Oval Office. Another was allowed use of a White House-complex bowling alley for his family. Bundlers closest to the president were invited to watch a movie in the red-walled theater in the basement of the presidential mansion.

Sounds like this is the only way Obama is replicating Bill Clinton, putting the White House up for sale.

Perhaps someone needs to do a file Freedom of Information act request for a list of top donors who have been given this access to find out if there are any security threats to this nation, like Jodie Evans of Code Pinko.

It was first revealed in January of last year on FreeRepublic.com that Evans was a bundler for the Obama Campaign. She most recently met with "That One" at a San Francisco fundraiser last month, where she paid $30,000 to urge him to withdraw from Afghanistan, which would allow the Taliban and al-Queda to come back in and use the nation for terror activities. Evans has spoken out in support of the Iraqi terrorist insurgency and her group even gave $600,000 in aid to Fallujah in late 2004, as US Marines were fighting for control of city from terrorists.

Kristinn Taylor of FR, who has kept a bright light on Evans relationship with Obama, co-wrote a piece with Andrea Shea King on the connection with Evans, Hollywood, terrorism, and Obama.

Krauthammer Skews Obama For "Childlike" Attacks On Bush Over Afghanistan

Charles Krauthammer has weighed in again on the miserable failure known as the Obama Administration on Fox News last night, in this video from HotAirPundit.

Democrat Alan Grayson Calls Female Ben Bernake Advisor "K-Street Whore"--Apolgizes After First Defending His Sleeze

Democrat Alan "Republicans want you to die" Grayson, the poster boy of Democrat civility (and leading contender for MIM's 2009 Asshole of the Year award), has hit a new low.

On the 9/11 Troofer and all-around-loon Alex Jones' Radio Show from September 24, Grayson called Linda Robertson, and advisor to Fed Chairman Ben Bernake a "K-Street whore."

After first defending the comment, Grayson now is apologizing for the it....after its gone viral.

"This characterization of Ms. Robertson, made during a radio interview last month in the context of a debate over whether the Federal Reserve should be independently audited, was inappropriate and I apologize."

Earlier, Grayson defended his remarks and referred critics to read the "secondary dictionary definition" of the word "whore," Politico.com reported.

...On Tuesday, Grayson spokesman Todd Jurkowski vehemently defended the congressman's choice of words, telling Politico.com that "the attack was on her professional career, not her personal life."

"The second definition of 'whore' in the American Heritage Dictionary is 'a person considered as having compromised principles for personal gain,'" he reportedly told the Web site. "I think a reasonable person could believe that a person who was paid to promote and defend Enron has compromised principles for personal gain."

A Glimpse Of What Gov't Run Health Care Will Look Like

The government will be donating part of the supply of the H1N1 vaccine to other nations even before the demand in this nation has been met (CNSNews).

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told CNSNews.com Wednesday that one in 10 doses of the swine-flu vaccine purchased by the U.S. will be donated to other nations before the U.S. demand for the vaccine is filled.

Sebelius also told a Senate committee that vaccine production is well behind demand.

“What we said is once we have 40 million doses (of the vaccine), the donation can start,” Sebelius told CNSNews.com. “There’s an agreement (of) 10 percent donation that 11 nations have made,” she said.

HHS has ordered about 250 million doses of the vaccine, so the donation would begin after the U.S. received just 16 percent of its original order.

Sebelius made the remarks at a Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing on the government's preparations for dealing with the H1N1 flu virus outbreak. Education Secretary Arne Duncan and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano also provided testimony at the hearing.

The nation’s top health bureaucrat said the government would still donate to foreign nations part of the stock of vaccine purchased by the U.S. government despite delays in getting the vaccine to American citizens, which she said puts the nation “at the point where demand is ahead of the yield.”

“We will do our best to ramp up the production and continue to push it out the door,” Sebelius said.

So "That One" has declared the swine flu a national emergency, yet the production of the vaccine is behind schedule and we're going to give portions of it away before we've taken care of our citizens?

This is what Obamacare will look like, when the bureaucrats will be running the health care system.

And on President Obama's 24th golf game as president he finally invited a woman in his foursome, with Melody Barnes, his chief domestic policy adviser, joining him on the links at the U.S. Army's Fort Belvoir course on Sunday. Barnes' invitation to golf with the president came as Obama was catching some flak for playing sports just with men.

Twenty four rounds of golf in nine months, while our troops are fighting in Afghanistan & Iraq, the US general in Afghanistan waits for an answer on more troops, the economy goes to Hell and hostile nations become more emboldened. You'd think "That One" didn't have a care in the world.

By the way, HotAirPundit found a Tweet from Mark Knoller of See BS, who noted that it took George W. Bush 2 years and 10 months to play as much golf as Obama has played in nine months. That's not all. He's heading to Florida this morning to attend two Democrat fundraisers.

Rosanne Cash told the Washington Post last night that she reacted with “absolute disgust” when she learned about the use of music as a means of torturing detainees at Guantanamo: “I think every musician should be involved. It seems so obvious. Music should never be used as torture.”

So, the list of musicians who are willing to stand up to close Guantanamo and end torture – including the music variety – could grow in the days and weeks to come. And, we are getting calls from some of them this afternoon wanting to do more. We’ll keep you posted.

Artists have joined on to political campaigns before, but this is slightly different. We know for a fact that the music of Rage Against the Machine (Tom’s band) and Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor) was used at Guantanamo – music played at near ear-splitting volumes for hours on end – to torture detainees. As you might expect, they are not happy about it. Here’s what Tom had to say:

Guantanamo is known around the world as one of the places where human beings have been tortured – from water boarding, to stripping, hooding and forcing detainees into humiliating sexual acts - playing music for 72 hours in a row at volumes just below that to shatter the eardrums. Guantanamo may be Dick Cheney’s idea of America, but it’s not mine. The fact that music I helped create was used in crimes against humanity sickens me – we need to end torture and close Guantanamo now.

Who is New Security Action? The typical left-wing anti-war crowd like former Congressman Tom Andrews, a couple of retired Generals (Robert G. Gard and John Johns) who support Leftist causes, and Jon Soltz of the supposedly "non-partisan" veterans group VoteVets, who are more of a front group for liberal Democrat causes than for veterans.

Soltz has been discussed here before. He's the same Grade A douchebag who attacked my friend Melanie Morgan after the election last year in an e-mall, calling her a "stinky hagg." Just the other day, Mr. Tough Guy Soltz attacked Liz Cheney for daring to be a part of an organization called Keep America Safe (This Ain't Hell). Apart from having a problem with strong, powerful women, Soltz (whose combat experience was serving in the motor-pool) threatened to report at least one active duty soldier who fought in the War on Terror to his superiors for daring to dissent from his anti-war, anti-troop message.

It's funny, too, that most of the comments I've seen on the New Security Action website are rightfully attacking these "musicians."

I've been a music lover and musician for most of my life, and have a pretty good sized music collection over the last 20 plus years. Politically, I could care less who many of them vote for, that's their right. What I have a problem with are these musical Jane & Dick Fondas publicly crying their phony crocodile tears for al-Queda terrorists who would no sooner kill them than they would any other American infidel. Release them? Where? Back to the battle field as many of whom were released in the past have done? Bring them into our cities where they would be a security threat to American citizens, should they escape?

Where was the outrage of Jackson Browne (who allegedly physically assaulted former girlfriend Darryl Hannah) and the others when Americans were murdered in Iraq by beheadings or burned and hung from a bridge? Or when these terrorist detainees have been found to attack Gitmo guards 440 times from 2002 to summer of 2005?

The prisoners held at Guantanamo Bay during the war on terror have attacked their military guards hundreds of times, turning broken toilet parts, utensils, radios and even a bloody lizard tail into makeshift weapons, Pentagon reports say.

Incident reports reviewed by The Associated Press indicate Military Police guards are routinely head-butted, spat upon and doused by "cocktails" of feces, urine, vomit and sperm collected in meal cups by the prisoners.

They’ve been repeatedly grabbed, punched or assaulted by prisoners who reach through the small "bean holes" used to deliver food and blankets through cell doors, the reports say. Serious assaults requiring medical attention, however, are rare, the reports indicate.

The detainee "reached under the face mask of an IRF (Initial Reaction Force) team member’s helmet and scratched his face, attempting to gouge his eyes," states a May 27, 2005, report on an effort to remove a recalcitrant prisoner from his cell.

"The IRF team member received scratches to his face and eye socket area," the report said.

That's right, there was no outrage from the Liberal Musicians With No Conscience when Americans and US troops were killed or assaulted by their friends, the terrorists. These people could care less about the security of the American people. They take private jets, live behind security gates, yet they're so arrogant that they think just because you buy their music and tickets to their concerts they should preach their far-Left, anti-American views.

Well, speaking as one person, no more money for "musicians" who side with our enemies! Here's my response to three of these musicians--R.E.M., Jackson Browne, and Bonnie Raitt--via their music which I once had in my collection.

"Dirty" Deeds Is About To Join The Crowd Under Obama's Bus

Creigh "Dirty" Deeds, the drugstore cowboy running for governor of Virginia as a Democrat, is seeing victory slip further away.

According to the Washington ComPost, so does the national Democrat Party, and they're preparing to shield Barack Hussein Obama from any fallout by blaming Deeds.

Democratic strategists said that over the summer, (part time) Virginia Gov. Timothy M. Kaine (D) offered Deeds advice on winning a statewide election. Among other things, Kaine, who is also chairman of the Democratic National Committee, told Deeds that he should lay out more of his own vision and stop attacking Republican Robert F. McDonnell so ferociously. But Deeds did not embrace the advice, according to a national Democratic strategist.

A senior administration official said Deeds badly erred on several fronts, including not doing a better job of coordinating with the White House. "I understood in the beginning why there was some reluctance to run all around the state with Barack Obama," said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity in order to speak candidly about the race. "You don't do that in Virginia. But when you consider the African American turnout that they need, and then when you consider as well they've got a huge problem with surge voters, younger voters, we were just a natural for them."

A second administration official, who also spoke on condition of anonymity, said: "Obama, Kaine and others had drawn a road map to victory in Virginia. Deeds chose another path."

A loss for Deeds in Virginia -- which for the first time in decades supported the Democratic presidential candidate in last year's race -- would likely be seen as a sign that Obama's popularity is weakening in critical areas of the country. But the unusual preelection criticism could be an attempt to shield Obama from that narrative by ensuring that Deeds is blamed personally for the loss, particularly given the state's three-decade pattern of backing candidates from the party out of power in the White House.

So, to the White House and Democrat Party, it's Deed's fault for running a dirty campaign. Never mind that's what the White House is doing currently against Fox News, Tea Partiers, the Chamber of Commerce and all others who dare to dissent from "That One."

Obama's approval rating has dropped like a rock in Virginia as well, even though he was the first Democrat in over 40 years to win the Commonwealth's electoral votes.

Sure Deeds wasn't a good candidate, but don't tell me Terry McAwful would have been a more positive candidate. He was one of the most partisan DNC officials during the Bush years, overseeing the 2002 mid-term losses and the 2004 defeat of "Hanoi" John Kerry.

The template is being written for the 2009 elections to protect Obama, plain and simple.

Teacher At Muslim School In Massachusetts Charged In Terror Plot, Reveled In Videos Showing Mutilation Of US Troops

Another terror attack planned by Muslim terror suspects has been foiled in Massachusetts (Yahoo news).

BOSTON (AP) — A pharmacy college graduate made a defiant appearance in federal court Wednesday, hours after being charged with conspiring with two other men in a terror plot to kill two prominent U.S. politicians and carry out a holy war by attacking shoppers in U.S. malls and American troops in Iraq.

Authorities say the men's plans — in which they used code words like "peanut butter and jelly" for fighting in Somalia and "culinary school" for terrorist camps — were thwarted in part when they could not find training and were unable to buy automatic weapons, authorities said.

Tarek Mehanna, 27, was arrested Wednesday morning at his parents' home in Sudbury, an upscale suburb 20 miles west of Boston, and appeared for a brief hearing later in the day. When ordered by the judge to stand to hear the charge against him, he refused. He finally did stand — tossing his chair loudly to the floor — only after his father urged him to do so.

...Prosecutors say Tarek Mehanna worked with two men from 2001 to May 2008 on the conspiracy to "kill, kidnap, maim or injure" soldiers and two politicians who were members of the executive branch but are no longer in office. Authorities refused to
identify the politicians.

According to an update to this report, Mehanna was a teacher at a school of the Religion of Peace:

The Massachusetts man charged with conspiring in a terror plot has been a middle school math and religion teacher at a Muslim school in Worcester.

Colleagues at the Alhuda Academy say they cannot believe the allegations against Tarek Mehanna (TEH'-rek meh-HAH'-nah), who was arrested Wednesday and charged in conspiring to support terrorism. They say he was a sweet guy and loved by his students.

And the terrorist scum relished in videos showing the torture and mutilation of kidnapped US military members in Iraq (CNN).

A Massachusetts man charged Wednesday with conspiring to provide material support to terrorists abroad distributed a video that he said showed the "mutilation and abuse" of the bodies of U.S. personnel in Iraq, an FBI agent says.

The video file was stored on a computer authorities took from the bedroom of Tarek Mehanna, 27, of Sudbury, Massachusetts, said Heidi Williams, an FBI special agent in Boston.

Mehanna sent the video to associates, explaining that it showed the aftermath of retaliation against U.S. personnel after a report of a rape committed by a serviceman, Williams said in an affidavit supporting three search warrants.

...The complaint affidavit alleges that Mehanna and co-conspirators sought to participate in "violent jihad against American interests and ... would talk about fighting jihad and their desire to die on the battlefield." It adds that "the co-conspirators attempted to radicalize others and inspire each other by, among other things, watching and distributing jihadi videos."

Included in the videos Mehanna obtained and watched were shots of U.S. soldiers killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq, in addition to the mutilation scenes, Loucks said.

"The computer revealed that Mehanna and others reveled in the death of United States servicemen overseas," she said.

Mehanna had been arrested previously and defended by Muslim groups:

Mehanna, a U.S. citizen, was arrested in November and charged with lying to the FBI in December 2006 when asked the whereabouts of Daniel Maldonado, who is now serving a 10-year prison sentence for training with al-Qaida to overthrow the Somali government.

Mehanna told the FBI that Maldonado was living in Egypt and working for a Web site. But authorities said Maldonado had called Mehanna from Somalia urging him to join him in "training for jihad."

...After his arrest, Mehanna developed a cult following among Muslim civil rights groups and Web sites that believed Mehanna was wrongly arrested. Web sites like the London-based cageprisoners.com, a human rights group that advocates for prisoners at Guantanamo Bay and other detainees as part of the U.S. war on terror, asked supporters to write Mehanna in prison to keep up his spirits.

The site MuslimMatters.org asked supporters to pray for his release and published a letter they said Mehanna wrote from prison.

In the letter, Mehanna thanked supporters and said he was being treated well.

"I can only think of the countless imprisoned Muslims in the jails of tyrants around the globe and hope that if it is not Allah's Decree to free them in the near future, that they taste the sweetness that Allah has placed them in prison to taste," Mehanna wrote.

He signed the letter, "Your brother in the green jumpsuit."

No word yet on if CAIR (Council of Americas Islamic Revolution) is screaming "Islamophobia" or planning any defense of Mehanna.

Charles "Icarus" Johnson has gone on a self-righteous tirade for the last couple of years, claiming some anti-jihadist bloggers and others were collaborating with neo-Nazis, all based on information from "commentors." He's also smeared those of us who made up his audience, claiming "there's Nazi's at them Tea Parties," as well as sliming bloggers like Robert Stacy McCain.

Sunday, along with posting a photo of a couple walking on the beach eating a pizza, he decided to launch another attack into Rush Limbaugh. What is interesting, is the source for much of "Icarus's" blog post (see red circle).

Media Matters For Democrats. You know, the supposed "watchdog" headed by David Crock. Guess who one of it's funders is (DiscoverTheNetworks)?

Media Matters has not always been forthcoming about its high-profile backers. In particular, the group has long labored to obscure any financial ties to George Soros. But in March 2003, the Cybercast News Service (CNS) detailed the copious links between Media Matters and several Soros "affiliates"—among them MoveOn.org, the Center for American Progress, and Peter Lewis. Confronted with this story, a spokesman for the organization explained that "Media Matters for America has never received funding directly from George Soros" (emphasis added), a transparent evasion. Nor were groups cited by CNS the only connection between Media Matters and Soros.

As investigative journalist Byron York has noted, another Soros affiliate that bankrolled Media Matters was the New Democratic Network. In addition, Soros is reported to be involved in the newly formed Democracy Alliance, a partnership of some 80 affluent financiers who each have vowed to contribute $1 million or more in order to build up an ideological infrastructure of leftist thinks tanks and advocacy groups. News reports list Media Matters as a main beneficiary of the Alliance's funding. By August of 2004, Media Matters' operating budget had already doubled to $4 million.

To summarize, Soros and his Open Society Institute pour millions of dollars into the coffers of MoveOn, the Center for American Progress, and Democracy Alliance. In turn, these organizations funnel some of that money to Media Matters.

Yes, that George Soro$, the one who admittedly helped the Nazis during their occupation of Budapest in 1944.

So, Charles Johnson, the guy who claims all of us conservatives and Tea Party attendees are a bunch of Nazis, is using talking points from a group funded by a Nazi collaborator.

"Opinion Journalism Masquerading As News" Which The White House Likes (Or Loves)

As you know, the White House face has been all over the news about how supposedly "illegitimate" the Fox News Channel is.

Everyone from Rahm "Dead Fish" Emmanuel, David "Greasy as a Porkchop" Axelrod and the Mao Tze Dung acolyte, Anita Dunn, have said Fox News is "opinion journalism masquerading as news" or GOP talking points. They're even urging other networks to "isolate" Fox News.

This is like something you'd see in some Communist or fascist regime, the way the Obama Administration is behaving.

But don't be fooled. It's not that the Obama Administration hates "opinion journalism," they just hate Fox because they're the only network actually doing the job of journalists. Quite to the contrary, the Obama Administration love opinion journalism...when it matches their agenda.

Remember how the libs got their panties in a wad about Jeff Gannon asking President George W. Bush a question at a press conference? Well, the far-Left Huffington Post has asked Obama questions at not just one press conference, but two. "That One" even helped the HuffPost correspondent ask the question.

Then there's the notorious left of center network MSNBC (aka Moonbats Spouting Nothing But Crap). You know, the network broadcasting Keith Olbermann's insane moonbattery, Ed Schultz (who sat on the front row at "That One's" first presser) says Republicans (not just Dick Cheney) want Americans to die or Chris Matthews (when he's not busy jerking off to photos of Barack Obama) pictures Rush Limbaugh having his head blown off. Well, the White House LOVES this "opinion journalism."

Just ask Kareem Dale, minister of culture in the Obama White House.



So, when the White House says they hate Fox, is it really because it's "opinion journalism," or because this Administration is so thin skinned they can't take any criticism.

White House Aide Anita Dunn Admits Election Strategy Was "Control" Of Their Message To Press

Aaron Klein at WorldNetDaily (via FreeRepublic) posts this video of White House Communications Director Anita Dunn telling a conference in the Dominican Republic that they key to their 2008 Campaign was control over their message to the press.

In the video, Dunn states:

"Whether it was a David Plouffe video or an Obama speech, a huge part of our press strategy was focused on making the media cover what Obama was actually saying as opposed to why the campaign was saying it, what the tactic was. We had a huge premium, both on message discipline, on people in the campaign not leaking to reporters, on people in the campaign not discussing our strategy, and also on making the press cover what we were saying. One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe (chief campaign manager) videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters. We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it."

She follows up by saying:

"By the general election, very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control." Dunn stated they did this through doing "as much live television as possible," so "what the voters heard we determined, rather than some editor in a TV station."

No wonder she and the Obama White House don't like Fox News, since they're the only ones actually trying to act like journalists, instead of lapdog sycophants for this Administration.



But what else would you expect from a White House official who once stated (as Glenn Beck revealed above) that one of her favorite philosophers was Mao Tse Dung, the leader of China's Communist revolution and murderer of tens of millions of Chinese.

Why The Liberal Witch-Hunt & Libel Against Rush Limbaugh Is Important

Because if they can go after Rush, the most powerful and influential voice in America, and prevent a business deal he was a participant in from occurring; what can they do to regular, ordinary people in order to intimidate them from expressing opposition to the far-Left agenda?

In his Wall Street Journal piece explaining the smear attacks on him, in his bid to become part owner of the St. Louis Rams, Limbaugh said:

...this spectacle is bigger than I am on several levels. There is a contempt in the news business, including the sportswriter community, for conservatives that reflects the blind hatred espoused by Messrs. Sharpton and Jackson. "Racism" is too often their sledgehammer. And it is being used to try to keep citizens who don't share the left's agenda from participating in the full array of opportunities this nation otherwise affords each of us. It was on display many years ago in an effort to smear Clarence Thomas with racist stereotypes and keep him off the Supreme Court. More recently, it was employed against patriotic citizens who attended town-hall meetings and tea-party protests.

These intimidation tactics are working and spreading, and they are a cancer on our society.

Here's example of how these intimidation tactics Rush wrote about are being used by the far-Left, under the guise of "equality." In Washington state, they are going after opponents of homosexual marriage. And this isn't just organizers, it is everyday Americans who decided to put their signatures on a petition (Seattle Times).

Referendum 71 will ask voters to approve or reject the Legislature's latest expansion of the state's domestic-partnership law, which grants marriage-like benefits to gay and some senior couples.

Thursday's ruling by a three-member panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in California reversed a previous decision by U.S. District Judge Ben Settle in Tacoma, who had blocked release of the petition signatures.

Gay-rights activists and others have promised to post the names and addresses of signers online for anyone to see.

In its brief order, the appeals panel said Settle used a wrong legal standard in granting a preliminary injunction that barred release of the petitions, and that the injunction therefore must be reversed. The judges said they would issue an opinion later explaining their reasoning.

Protect Marriage Washington had argued that petition signatures are protected free speech under the First Amendment, and as such should be shielded from public release. The group said it wanted to keep the petitions out of public view because it feared harassment from gay-rights supporters.

A similar episode happened late last year, after Proposition 8 passed in California. Some homosexual marriage advocates decided to print names of working people and small business owners on websites who had contributed money to the Prop 8 campaign, in the attempt to slander them professionally as "bigots," "homophobes" and "hatemongers." One LA restaurant manager resigned after high profile protests were held at the restaurant.

Similarly, one can also look at what happened to Carrie Prejean, the former Miss California. Simply for holding to a deeply held religious belief, she was smeared in a despicable manner as a bigot and homophobe, while pressure was put on cowards like Donald Trump, forcing him to strip her of her crown.

If the Ninth Circuit decision to release the names of the signers of the Protect Marriage Washington is upheld, it will mean more attacks upon working people who believe marriage should be limited to one man and one woman (or other controversial issues), which could cost them their livelihoods. It would make people more likely not to sign petitions or utter a controversial opinion against the agenda of the far-Left, for fear of losing the job or business.

It is the same thing that happened to Rush Limbaugh, but to people who don't have the power he has. In short, it is the chilling of free political speech in America, the punishment of any political thought that is opposed to the secular, progressive-socialist views of the far-Left via intimidation tactics. This tactic is wholly un-American, and conflicts with everything the founders of this nation intended, as well as what generations of brave Americans sacrificed in blood to defend.

Liberals have spent the last 50 plus years denouncing the "blacklists" of Hollywood communists. In 2003, far-left Hollywood loon Tim Robbins falsely stokes fears of "a chill wind" coming from the Bush White House.

How hypocritical then that these liberals are silent today when political conservatives are dropped from business deals based on nothing but their opposition to the current administration. Likewise, they are silent when regular citizens are intimidated by threat of their livelihoods from expressing political views or deeply held religious beliefs.

That is why I believe it is up to people like Rush Limbaugh and Carrie Prejean to publicly fight these libelous slanderers by any and all means, including legal avenues. Because if it doesn't stop, the far-Left will have no fear of using their fascistic tactics to silence with an iron fist anyone who dares to dissent.

No Surprise: Washington ComPost Endorses "Dirty" Deeds

The Washington Post endorsed Creigh Deeds for Governor. One has to wonder what they were smoking when endorsing Deeds, as he has no concrete proposals on what he will do for the Commonwealth. So, keep on the lookout for the road signs.

Seriously, the bias of this rag is so obvious that a deaf, dumb and blind person could see this. Deeds wouldn't even be the nominee if it wasn't for the ComPost. His whole campaign has been based on taking out of context a thesis that Republican Bob McDonnell wrote 20 years ago. Even Democrats, noted at NRO Campaign Spot, have been critical of the Deeds slime campaign, going as far as wondering if they nominated the wrong candidate.

The ComPost has weighed in on this campaign as Deeds defacto campaign staff and endorsed him primarily because of the stakes this election holds for President Barack Hussein Obama, especially since the ComPost is part of the Obama Lapdog Media.

Yesterday, 223 House Democrats (and Ron Paul) voted down a motion to recommit H.R. 2892. In effect, they voted:

1) to bring Guantanamo al Qaeda detainees into the U.S., 2) to delete the requirement that all detainees who once were or currently are being held at Gitmo be placed on the Department of Homeland Security’s ‘no-fly’ list, and 3) to delete this additional requirement: “the Secretary of Homeland Security shall conduct a threat assessment for each such individual who is proposed to be transferred to the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, the District of Columbia, or the United States Territories.”

President Barack Obama and his administration applauded the House vote:

The Obama White House hailed a House vote Thursday to defeat a GOP-led effort to block the transfer of any Guantanamo Bay detainee to US soil — even for prosecution. “This was the most important legislative vote out there and it gives us a sense of victory,” said a senior administration official close to White House deliberations on closing the detention facility.

(Victory? Hurray! President Obama finally knows how to define victory.)

So while the President doddles and our soldiers die, Democrats waste no time to help the al-Queda terrorists at Gitmo come into this nation, regarless of the safety and security of our citizens.

Tax Cheat Rangel Gives Green Light For Nuclear Option To Shove Obamacare Down Our Throats

They've threatened and the predictions are coming true with corrupt tax cheat Charlie Rangel leading the charge, according to Connie Hair at Human Events.

House Ways & Means Committee Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) held a hearing this morning to certify that H.R. 3200 -- the main House Obamacare bill which was the subject of all the town hall rage in August -- has met all requirements to pass as a “budget reconciliation” measure.

Under reconciliation, the bill can be passed by a simple majority vote in the Senate -- just 51 votes -- and will be given preferential treatment on the House floor as well. The Dems have apparently invoked the “nuclear option” to shut out Republicans and ensure the bill is passed before the end of the year.

It contains all of the horrors previously exposed: federal funding of abortion, coverage for illegal aliens, comparative effectiveness, healthcare rationing, deep cuts to Medicare. Everything the American people overwhelmingly reject. No amendments were allowed at the hearing and no debate.

Rangel told Rep. Dave Camp (R-Mich.), the ranking Republican on the committee, that he would not have preferred to do it this way, but leadership -- i.e., Speaker Pelosi -- forced his hand.

While the media cameras are focused on Harry Reid’s office door, the House of Representatives has made it possible for H.R. 3200 to pass the Senate with 51 votes. It is still possible that Senator Reid won’t choose to use reconciliation in the Senate, but the odds against it are infinitesimal.

Since it has now cleared the Ways and Means Committee (fulfilling the $1 billion reconciliation requirement), H.R. 3200 will go to the Budget Committee where they will do the same thing that was done today in Ways & Means. They will agree that the bill has met the reconciliation requirements on a straight party line vote.

The bill then goes to Pelosi and the Rules Committee where Pelosi will do the same thing Reid is doing right now: merge the three House versions of H.R. 3200 together into whatever she wants it to be, then she will schedule it for a floor vote.

H.R. 3200 could see a floor vote in the next two weeks, or the first week of November. If it passes, the House it goes to the Senate and can pass there with 51 votes.

In other words, "to Hell with what America wants, we Democrats want to cement our Iron Fisted power over your lives."

No wonder Democrats defended this corrupt race-baiter, to help usher in Democrat Despotism to the United States.

Obama In San Francisco Fundraising & Getting Protests From The Right & Left Flanks--UPDATE: Media Pays More Attention To Leftitist Protesters

Since he's single handedly rescued the US economy and restored world peace by simply being inaugurated (if one believes the media), Barack Hussein Obama is doing what he does best...travelling all over the place at taxpayer expense.

Tonight, it's in San Francisco for a couple of fundraisers. Carla Marinucci of SFGate is there and reports the following.

"...outside, a protest scene as only San Francisco can provide: lots of very quiet conservative types bearing "No Cap and Trade" and "No health Care" signs, and very loud and visible progressive Code Pinkers (read: Code Pinkos) with anti-war signs and chants.

UPDATE: Bookworm Room wrote Wednesday that Obama is afraid of the shrieking harpies know as Code Pinko and wasn't planning on making public appearances. She also noted that San Francisco media paid more attention to the disheartened lefties who showed up to protest than the conservatives.

SFGate all but ignored conservatives, instead focusing on their favorites: Code Pinko.

On the streets outside the hotel, Obama's reception was less enthusiastic, with protesters on the left and right hurling criticisms of his policies and leadership style.

"People in the Bay Area are very sensitive to the two critical issues right now - health care and Afghanistan - and they're unhappy on both fronts," said Medea Benjamin, co-founder of the anti-war group Code Pink. "They want single-payer and they want an exit strategy.

Obama is backing health care reforms that include private and government insurance plans, while he is considering whether to send more troops to Afghanistan amid a Taliban insurgency.

Benjamin said she was disappointed Obama wasn't being seen outside high-priced political events.

"It would have been good for the president to hear from the Bay Area, and it would have helped to release his inner progressive," she said. "We know it's there somewhere. You just have to dig deep these days."

Jodie Evans, a co-founder of Code Pink, paid $30,400 for a pair of tickets to the VIP dinner, where she presented Obama with a petition from women in Afghanistan urging him not to send additional troops. Evans said she spent several minutes discussing the war there with the president and told him that the country's women "want a place at the table" in resolving the conflict.

Evans was one of Obama's top campaign bundlers during the 2008 election, and spoke many times in support of Iraqi terrorist "insurgents." She also rationalized the 9/11 attacks on a June 2008 radio show.

Not surprising that SFGate didn't mention that, as well has her visits with anti-American dictators Mahmood Ahmadamnutjob or Hugo Chavez.

O'Reilly On Libelous Attacks Against Rush Limbaugh: "This Is 1984 Type Stuff"

On his Fox News show last night, Bill O'Reilly defended Rush Limbaugh against the libelous attacks by CNN & MSNBC which have resulted in the loss of the opportunity to be part owner of the St. Louis Rams.



"Doesn't this seem to be overdone? So what if a radio guy wants to invest in a football team. Unless the investor has a proven anti-social dispostion, he should not be denied an opportunity. This is 1984 type stuff ladies and gentlemen. Thought police posture."

NFL Double Standard: Political Commentary They Don't Object To

One more thought about the Rush Limbaugh/St. Louis Rams/NFL controversy, and it's another illustration of the double standard I mentioned in the last post.
There is incendiary, divisive political commentary which the NFL does not object to. Let me illustrate.

"A big mashed-up bag of meat with lipstick on it."

Those were the words of MSNBC's Keith "Droopy" Olbermann the other night about Michelle Malkin. Olbermann is also one of the on-air staff of NBC's Football Night in America.

• obsessively stalked basketball player Rebecca Lobo
• mocked Michelle Malkin's ethnicity
• said Sharon Stone is "old" and "past her prime"
• called Ann Coulter a "horse" and made a vulgar reference to "Ann Coulter's c*nt"
• sneered that Angelina Jolie is "desperate" and "going for the ring"
• said Hillary Clinton should be beaten to death
• said of his colleague Rita Cosby: she's "dumber than a suitcase of rocks"
• laughed and joined in on a gross, creepy attack on Carrie Prejean

Apparently, this type of commentary is just fine with the NFL.

Rush Limbaugh Forced Out Of St. Louis Rams Ownership By Libelous Left Wingers & Race-Baiters

How low the National Football League has fallen, when scum who fight dogs are held in higher regard than conservatives who have an ideological disagreement with the President of the United States?

Rush Limbaugh, the voice of American conservatism, has been forced out of a group bidding to purchase the St. Louis Rams. This comes after a constant Left-wing witch hunt in the Obama Lapdog Media outlets, using libelous material to slander Limbaugh over the last few days.

CNBC reports.

Sources tell ESPN that Dave Checketts, chairman of the NHL's St. Louis Blues and the point man in the Limbaugh group attempting to buy the Rams, is planning to remove the controversial radio host as a minority member in the group in order to get approval from other NFL owners. The last few days have seen an out cry from NFL players who said they would not play for Limbaugh if he became a team owner of the Rams.

The libelous material used against Limbaugh were racist quotes made up by someone on the Internet and we're attributed to him. Liberal media personalities at CNN and MSNBC, among others, parroted the quotes without checking the source and even after it was revealed the quotes were made up.

Joining the witch-hunt and putting pressure on the NFL to prevent Limbaugh from pursuing the ownership of the football team were two of the biggest race hustlers in America, the phony Revs. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson (Yahoo news).

Sharpton sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, arguing that Limbaugh has been divisive and “anti-NFL” in some of his comments.

Jackson said in a telephone interview that Limbaugh had made his wealth “appealing to the fears of whites” with an unending line of insults against blacks and other minorities.

“The National Football League has set high standards for racial justice and inclusion,” Jackson said. “He should not have the privilege of owning an NFL franchise—and it is a privilege.” The civil rights leader said he’s had contact with numerous players and ex-players concerned about the bid.

Divisive? Insulting minorities? Just who in the Hell are Sharpton and Jackson--supposedly men of the cloth--to throw stones at Rush when they both have large planks of bigotry in their eyes.

The Racist & Divisive Past Of The Dastardly Duo: Sharpton & Jackson

• In 1991, Sharpton called then New York City Mayor David Dinkins, “that nigger whore turning tricks in City Hall.”


• Sometime in the mid-1990s, Sharpton also said, “White folks was in caves while we was building empires … We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it.”


• In 1991, after the accidental death of a black child in the Crown Heights area of Brooklyn, a Jewish student was murdered by a black mob. Sharpton added to the rabble rousing, calling Jews "diamond merchants" and stating they should "pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house" to settle the score.


• That wasn't Al's only brush with anti-Semitism. Al was on video (before YouTube removed it) saying, "So are they going to keep Jewing numbers up and down until they can try to get two guys because they wanted school [unintelligible] they can do it..." As Hope of Israel points out:
  

  “To Jew someone down” is a highly offensive anti-Semitic slur, which Jews like as much as Romany appreciate the phrase “gyp someone,” or as much as people from Wales like the term “welsh on a bet.”

• Sharpton also incited the riot and murder at Freddie's Fashion Mart in 1995, after the Jewish store owner was forced to raise rent on a subtenant, a black record store. Sharpton led pickets outside Freddies. Jeff Jacoby writes that Sharpton:
  

  uses it to incite racial hatred. "We will not stand by," he warns malignantly, "and allow them to move this brother so that some white interloper can expand his business." Sharpton's National Action Network sets up picket lines; customers going into Freddy's are spat on and cursed as "traitors" and "Uncle Toms." Some protesters shout, "Burn down the Jew store!" and simulate striking a match. "We're going to see that this cracker suffers," says Sharpton's colleague Morris Powell. On Dec. 8, one of the protesters bursts into Freddy's, shoots four employees point-blank, then sets the store on fire. Seven employees die in the inferno.

I haven't even gotten to the Tawana Brawley hoax. If we had an honest media in this nation, every time Sharpton's mug is on camera, the words "Tawana Brawley" should appear on the screen.

Jackson, meanwhile, is known infamously for his 1984 interview with a Washington ComPost reporter in which he called Jews "hymies" and New York "Hymietown." Just last year, Jackson was overheard on a hot mic saying about Barack Hussein Obama, "Barack...he's talking down to black people...telling niggers how to behave." Jackson followed by saying he'd "cut his (Obama's) nuts off."

The reason I laid all this out? The double-standard in play here. Who judges these two phony "Reverends" for their divisiveness, racism and incendiary rhetoric? Yet, liberals keep resuscitating their careers when it comes to race matters, allowing them to pass judgement over people like Don Imus and, now, Rush Limbaugh.

It looks like the Shaprton/Jackson tag team put the fear in the NFL commissioner, who jumped on the anti-Rush bandwagon. Never mind, as Debbue Schlussel points out, Venus & Serena Williams are part owners of the Miami Dolphins. Venus even defended UAE "apartheid polices against Jews with Israeli passports." Serena recently threatened a tennis official.

Similarly, Brian Maloney at Radio Equalizer has audio of a Washington ComPost reporter, Roman Oben, who also implied Rush should be prevented from owning a team based on his opposition to Barack Hussein Obama. Yet, Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, who is looking to be part owner of the Miami Dolphins, is a vocal Obama supporter.

"Conservatives Need Not Apply," Is that the new standard for team ownership in the NFL? You must not criticize "Dear Leader" Obama? If so, then someone should start a boycott of the NFL. Maybe hold season ticket burnings outside NFL offices and at stadiums around the nation.

Brent Bozell of the Media Research Center is telling CNN & MSNBC, "I hope you have good lawyers."

Though he really has nothing to gain, Rush Limbaugh should sue the hell those lapdog networks for the Obama Administration, for refusing to retract libelous statements falsely attributed to him. Because if they can get away with smearing Rush Limbaugh with slander, they won't think twice of doing it to someone less powerful.

What happened to Rush is completely un-American, but typical from the new-McCarthy-ites on the Left.

Newsweek Japan: Obama "Unworthy" of Nobel Prize

Chances are, the domestic US version of Newsweak won't print this headline, which appears in the Japanese version (FreeRepublic.com).

According to the Freeper, on the magazine cover, the subtitle reads:

"The Idiocy Of Him Receiving Such An Award, With Less The One Year In Office With No Accomplishment"

He also writes the analysis of Obama in Japan is "interesting" with "very critical eye(s)." It appears the media in Japan is not very fond of "That One."

White House Treats Fox News As Bigger Enemy Than Al-Queda & Taliban

While violence is escalating in Afghanistan, and US casualties are rising, President Barack Hussein Obama (Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm) continues doddling away deciding whether or not to send an 40,000 additional troops to Afghanistan.

Conversely, his White House is wasting no time attacking who they see as their real enemy: Fox News.

It began Sunday, with Communications Director Anita Dunn calling Fox News the "research arm of the Republican Party" and implied that the network was not a real news network like the Obama-friendly CNN.



The White House is also using several outlets of their lapdog media to trumpet their claims (AFP).

The White House has gone on the offensive against its critics in the press, singling out Fox News and going so far as to accuse the News Corp.-owned network of waging a "war against Barack Obama."

White House Communications Director Anita Dunn has led the charge, appearing on CNN television and conducting interviews with Time magazine and The New York Times in recent days to make her case.

The unusual White House campaign comes as President Obama faces mounting opposition to his health care reforms, growing concern over the situation in Afghanistan and a continuing general economic malaise.

The president also suffered a setback recently when his personal effort to win approval for Chicago to host the 2016 Olympics was rejected and his Nobel Peace Prize has met with more barbs than bouquets.

Speaking of media magnate Rupert Murdoch's Fox, Dunn told the Times in an interview published Monday: "We?re going to treat them the way we would treat an opponent.

"As they are undertaking a war against Barack Obama and the White House, we don't need to pretend that this is the way that legitimate news organizations behave," she said.

In comments just days earlier to Time magazine, Dunn, a veteran Democratic Party communications strategist who joined the White House in May, denounced Fox as "opinion journalism masquerading as news."

"They are boosting their audience. But that doesn't mean we are going to sit back," she said.

Fox News hosts responded yesterday to these Nixonian styled attacks by the Obama White House.
