Video Letter From Mother Of Soldier In Afghanistan "Mr. Obama Our Troops Are Dying," Slams Obama For Indecision On Troop Surge

"Debbie," a mother of a soldier in the 5th Stryker Brigade 1-17 ID, made and posted a video letter on YouTube to the Ditherer in Chief, Barack Hussein Obama, taking him to task over his inaction on Afghanistan (h/t Kristinn at FreeRepublic.com).



Some notable excerpts from her video include her saying:

"As commander-in-chief you don't have the luxury to ponder this decision as if it were one of your many parties at the White House.

"Mr. Obama, as you fly around the world apologizing for America and try to get the Olympics in your hometown, and golf, and have party after party after party in the White House our men and women are dying and losing limbs in Afghanistan.

"By the way, how many golf games have you played? How many parties have you had? How many fundraisers and campaign events have you attended in the last ninety days since you were told we needed more troops?

"How can you justify that when you've had maybe five or six war councils in the same amount of time?

"These men and women are not your political pawns. You can't put this decision off any longer. There's a difference between caution and indecision. You can never take away the feelings of abandonment seared in the hearts and minds of our troops and their families.

"Mr. Obama your indecision has left blood on your hands. You, sir, should be ashamed of yourself. Your priorities are in disarray. Your top focus should be to protect the troops defending your freedom and keeping our homeland safe.

"You said the war in Afghanistan was a war of necessity. I personally can never forgive you for misleading us. You made it sound like you were going to do what needed to be done to win in Afghanistan. Another lie. Instead you put them on the backburner in hopes of pushing through a health care reform that most of us don't even want.

"You left my son and all the other troops like sitting ducks. Mr. Obama you should be ashamed of yourself.

"....Do you have any idea what your indecision is doing to the morale of our troops? Mr. Obama, the clock is ticking and the blood is spilling.

"In closing I want to thank Gen. McChrystal for his sacrifice and service. Your frustration must be huge not having a president to support you. We support you here at home..."
