If you could name another person who drives liberals crazier than the name George W. Bush, who would that be?
Former Alaska Governor & 2008 GOP Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin's book, Going Rogue, was released yesterday and the predictable groans from the liberals in the lapdog media (as well as RINOs) could be heard.
Palin also appeared on Rush Limbaugh's talk show today and spoke issues (audio at RealClearPolitics). She also hit the milestone of one million plus followers on Facebook. After listening to the interview, it only reaffirms how much of a grasp she has on ideas and the solutions to the problems we face today. They are ideas that connect with regular, run of the mill Americans.
So what do they do? Newsweak runs a sleazy cover, while the Associated (with Obama) Press gets ELEVEN (11) fact checkers to "fact check" her book. Predictably, when the name "Sarah Palin" comes up in the news, the Media Lapdogs contact their Old Faithful, a deadbeat nobody named Levi Johnston, interrupting his daily session of whacking off to Internet porn just to quote him slamming the grandmother of the child he takes no responsibility for.
All that scrutiny for Sarah Palin while Barack Hussein Obama (Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm) had almost zero scrutiny from the same lapdog media over Bill Ayers, the racist Rev. Wright, ACORN, you name it. So you have to ask, if Sarah Palin is as much of a "joke" (as RINO David Brooks claims), politically "radioactive" to the GOP, or has "no future in poltics" (as the lib. Bob Schieffer at See BS says), why all the "fact checking" and the scrutiny by the lapdog media?
Because Palin's conservative ideas, every-day person persona connects with the common folk. And that scares the living hell out of the elites who call themselves libs and the RINOs.
That's not just me talking. Look at what happened two weeks ago here in Virginia, and in New Jersey. Conservatism, not quasi RINO-styled liberalism, triumphed in one liberal state and in a Southern state where Democrats were making in-roads. As much as they deny it, the lapdogs in the media know it, and that scares them as well.
Additionally, I heard a guy subbing for Mark Levin last night who said (and I'm not sure where he got his data) that more women are flocking these days to the Republican party.
Sarah Palin, no political future and what's wrong with the Republican Party? Hardly. It's people like David Brooks, David Frum, Peggy Noonan, Newt Gingrich (yes, Newt!), John McLame and Lindsey Grahamnesty who are what's wrong with the Republican Party. Sarah Palin and her ideas rooted in common-sense conservatism is what the Republican Party need to return to, and (as proven November 3, 2009) will win with.
Don't forget how these same elites looked down their noses at Ronald Reagan, pre-1980.
