"What Evidence Does It Take For Our President To Admit This Was An Act Of Terror?"
That's what Lt. Col. Ralph Peters said in his comments to Bill O'Reilly tonight, about "That One's" speech at Ft. Hood today for the memorial of the 13 killed by the Muslim jihadist Nidal Malik Hasan.
Clearly, from his speech at the memorial service, Obama showed little understanding of the motivation behind Hasan's act of terror, attributing it to a "twisted logic," as well as being "incomprehensible" and "hard to comprehend."
Well, there's a lot of acts of "twisted logic" in the years following 9/11. Here's just a sample. A young woman run over recently by her father for becoming too Westernized, a wife beheaded by her TV executive husband after she started divorce proceedings, an Army recruiter killed in Little Rock, numerous planned attacks on military installations, and a shooting spree in the DC area for which one of the assailants was executed this evening.
The common denominator in all this "twisted logic?" Radical, Wahhabist Islam.
Unfortunately for this nation, this Administration does not get it, nor does his Lapdog Media, who acted today like a bunch of Pee Wee Hermans in a peep show over his day of becoming "Healer in Chief," making the solemn occaision more about him than the victims. As more evidence of his lack of understanding of the threat, Obama even theorized Hasan might have "cracked."
For all the yearly reminders every September 11, our government acts as if those acts of Islamofascist terror never happened. What that date in mind, there is no excuse for this Administration, or any other, to have dropped the ball on the red flags popping up about Hasan's extremism. For a President who is ready at the drop of a hat to fly to foreign soil and apologize for America like he's an honorary Dixie Chick, no apology was given to these 13 families and this nation for his Administration's failure to stop this maniac Hasan.
But noooooooo! This Administration has instead looked at "right wing groups," Tea Party attendees, Fox News as their enemy in their infamous DHS report. Or, it's those Christians. Just today, we hear news that Marin County's Congressperson, "Looney" Lynn Woolsey, wants the IRS to scrutinize Catholic bishops for the crime (in her mind) of opposing the liberal's Holy Sacrament of Abortion on Demand being funded by taxpayer dollars. She's one who should have been scrutinized by the House, after her letter on behalf of the rapist of a Terra-Linda, CA teenager.
But to imply that Islam, radical Islam might be behind a rash of slayings, terror plots, no...can't say it. If you see a guy in an airport praising bin Laden get on an airplane, pretend you didn't see it, because CAIR might sue you and slander you with the tag of "Islamophobe." A school here in Northern Virginia run by the Saudi Government can get preferential treatment by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, even though their 1999 valedictorian is in prison for plotting to assassinate George W. Bush, or their textbooks are filled with bigotry towards Jews, Christians and "infidels."
How many more people have to die because someone who hears something suspicious is afraid to speak up for fear of being called a "bigot?" Just how far does this enemy have to go before this nation and these liberals in denial quit bowing at the altar of Political Correctness?
It's a scary thought to ponder.
