You and I, The American Taxpayer, Paid An Estimated $745K to $1.3 Million For Obama's Failed Olympic Junket

As a reminder, here's an excerpt of a post in which I quoted from a CNSNews story the other day about the Obama's two-jet boondoggle in his failed attempt (which you and I paid for) to bring the Olympics to Chicago in 2016, all to pay back political chits.

What are the estimates for the cost of the trip?

Using the CRS cost estimates and the inflation adjuster from the Bureau of Labor Statisitcs, the cost for the one-way 7.5-hour trip from Washington, D.C. to Copenhagen on the first lady's plane would range from $29,532 (White House Military Office) to $107,717 (U.S. Air Force).

The cost for the president to fly Air Force One on the one-way 7.5-hour trip from Washington, D.C. to Copenhagen ranges from $343,448 (White House Military Office) to $567,089 (U.S. Air Force).

So, using my calculator, that's anywhere from $745,960 (adding the two lowest estimates, multiplying them by two for a round-trip) and $1,349,612 (using the two highest figures), which you and I paid for.

The Obamabots are shifting the blame for Dear Leader's failure to ....you guessed it.....George W. Bush.

And Brazil is mocking The Anointed One as well.

Look, Chuckie, in case you forgot, there's more important things going on, like a war going in Afghanistan. Around 43 of our troops died this week while your Dear Leader Obama fiddled and farted around, continuing his stalling on General McChrystal's request for more troops. The most he could give the General was 25 minutes yesterday, giving way more time to the Olympic committee? I cannot imagine FDR giving Gen. Eisenhauer 25 minutes during World War II for, say, needing resources for the D-Day invasion.

The 2016 Olympics wasn't about America (we've had them before) and it wasn't about Chicago. It was all about the payback of political chits by Obama to the Chicago machine, as well as the oversized egos of "That One" and wifey Michelle.

I didn't check, but I wonder if "Icraus" is still using racism to mock Michelle Malkin.
