Fairfax County Board of Dhimmis Side With "Terror High," Approves Islamic Saudi Academy's Farifax Expansion In Sneaky Manner (VIDEO ADDED)

I was unable to attend or watch the vote today by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, in regards to the expansion of the Islamic Saudi Academy (aka "Terror High," or "Al Queda High"), but Brian Ledbetter at Snapped Shot did...and the result was predictable.

Mega update here: I watched the esteemed Pat Herrity introduce a motion to block the expansion, saw him and a number of other Supervisors rattle off the very valid reasons why the ISA expansion is a bad idea (a dramatic increase in traffic fatalities, development out of character for the land, AND 100% of the surrounding residents are against the school), and then immediately saw the Board KILL the motion in a 6-4 vote.

We're now looking at a wishy-washy motion to approve the school's expansion project, so long as "kitchen" facilities are not provided at the school.

Now that is the sneaky, conniving Fairfax County government that I expected today.

Update: The wishy-washy motion to approve ISA's expansion has been passed along the same 6-4 margin. Herrity, Cook, Bulova, and one Supervisor whose name escapes me voted against the project. The rest of 'em are obviously happy with ignoring the loudly-expressed will of County residents.
The Washington ComPost also reports tonight on the vote:

Ali al-Ahmed writes at NRO that he believes the "problem is far from solved".

Granted, the land use issues were enough to have torpedoed the ISA plans, but the "elephant in the room" being ignored by many on the board. That is, the Wahhabist, Sharia style textbooks and curriculum of the Academy, which should have been more of an issue, especially as this is one area which was attacked on 9/11/2001.

The curriculum and textbooks shouldn't be an issue and the ISA has nothing to hide, then why is the director general refusing to return phone calls to the Washington ComPost? Likewise, why not give an independent review of the textbooks? I'm certain that if this had been a private school where it was exposed that white supremacism was taught or, let's say, the Westboro Cult decided to relocate their group of inbreds from Kansas to Fairfax County, their brand of bigoted extremism would become the focal issue and superseded "land use" issues (and rightfully so).

And if development is so great, as Dhimmi Supervisor Penelope Gross gleefully stated, then why wasn't a Christian school given the same approval over 20 years ago on the same property? Given the cozy relationship between Fairfax County and the Academy (in the form of invitations for an ISA sponsored event supporting the so-called "Religion of Peace"), I'd say this is a case of religious discrimination against Christian based academies.

Let's be honest. This approval wasn't about "development" Ms. Gross. It is the liberal obsession with "diversity," which former stupidvisor (now Congressman) "Jihad" Gerry Connolly expressed last year in approving the ISA lease in Alexandria. Additionally, the liberals know and are intimidated by how pressure groups operate, if they don't get their way, the accusation of "you're a (fill-in-the-blank)-opobe" goes out during election season. In this case, they feared the label of "Islamophobe" being placed in that blank, because they've all seen how groups like CAIR and others intimidate by name-calling, etc.

Are the six liberal Dhimmi Supervisors who voted for the expansion of ISA prepared to explain their vote, if, God forbid, another ISA alumni or valedictorian who may have been voted "Most Likely to Be Martyred" executes a terrorist plot on American soil? Will Fairfax County taxpayers have to pay for lawsuits due to their approval of this Wahhabist madrassa?

Similar to what we're seeing on a national level, liberal politicians in Fairfax County show how they don't give a damn about their constituents. They only care about looking politically correct so as not to be bullied by Islamic pressure groups with cries of "Islamophobia."

Shame on all six of you!

UPDATE: NBC Washington:

...in the end Supervisor Gerry Hyland's motion to approve the plan passed after he dispelled the notion that the school poses a danger.

"I have never in the 15 years had any misgivings about that school being in my community," he said.

The motion passed 6-4, allowing the ISA to expand.

Some opponents said they will target the six supervisors who voted in favor of the school's plan.

"We're actively going to solicit candidates to run against them, and we are going to defeat them," (James) Lafferty said.

David R Stokes of Fairfax County writes in a Townhall column:

It appears that many liberal-minded types want us to be more like Europe and their views may be ascendant these days, but those who see European-socialistic-democracy as a model for our future should pay attention to how it is being threatened by an enemy within.

UPDATE II: VIDEO BELOW

John Foust, says in the video below the allegations against ISA are "misplaced," and is "impressed" with the ISA presentation.

Dhimmi County Supervisor Gerald Hyland below, who represents the district where the ISA is currently located in Alexandria, clearly shows he's gulped down the school's Kool Aid, calling them fine neighbors, "never had a problem" with them and he'll be sad to see them go.

Pamela at Atlas Shrugs has the following from James Lafferty, who (along with his wife Andrea) have been heroes in leading the noble fight against this hate school.
We lost the ISA expansion vote today by one vote. The close ones are the hardest to lose but few thought it would be this close. We will meet later this week with other coalition members to create a timeline for the next steps. I am sure Supervisor Michael Frey, a Republican who voted with the liberals, will figure prominently in that one.

Board Chairman Sharon Bulove, Linda Smith, Pat Herrity and John Cook all voted against the ISA proposal. Everybody went out of their way to say they only considered land-use issues but several mentioned the tsunami of e-mails and phone calls each of their offices received.

I spoke with our supporters after the hearing an did interviews with all of the DC TV stations plus the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN). Once again, a lot of first timers and new faces at the hearing. Each time we do this we get newcomers and it is snowballing. Americans are slow to anger but I think they are starting to figure out that shariah is incompatible with constitutional law and shariah and liberty can't mix.

Mr. Lafferty speaks in the video below, stating "even if it's Pee Wee Herman, well support who is running against them."

So, let's name and shame the dhimmis on the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors who voted for Sharia law. If you get the chance, be civil, but let them know you plan to support candidates who oppose them in the next election.

Sully - Michael Frey, RINO, (vote him out)

Drainesville - John W. Faust (said in video above that allegations against ISA were "misplaced.")

Hunter Mill — Catherine M. Hudgins

Lee — Jeff C. McKay

Mason — Penelope A. Gross, Vice Chairman

Mount Vernon — Gerald W. Hyland

At the same time, Pat Herrity, John Cook, Sharon Bullova and Linda Smyth deserve our thanks.

Foust's district abuts Sterling, where the All-Dulles Area Muslim Society (ADAMS) mosque is located. According to the ADAMS website, www.adamscenter.org, "ADAMS serves the town of Chantilly, Centerville, Sterling, Great Falls, Ashburn, Leesburg, and McLean in addition to Herndon and Reston." Membership is nearly 2,200 individuals and ADAMS serves 5000 families. Now you know who his constituents are.

Herndon is one of the nodes of Northern Virginiastan, the other being Falls Mosque, er, I mean Falls Church. It is also home to dozens of shell Muslim organizations located at 500 and 555 Grove Street, next to the Herndon post office
