White House "Green Czar" Van Jones Denounced America On Night Of 9/11, Spoke At Communist Rally In 2002

Welcome SFist readers: Thanks to Zombie at Zombietime for the link!

On the evening after 3,000 Americans were butchered by Muslim terrorists, White House Green Czar Van Jones stood in solidarity with...the terrorists.

From the American Spectator.

Standing Together to Organize a Revolutionary Movement (STORM), the revolutionary group formed by self-described "communist" and "rowdy black nationalist" Van Jones, held a vigil in Oakland, California, "mourning the victims of U.S. imperialism around the world" on the night after Sept. 11, 2001.

...Jones also founded the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, which joined in the vigil according to an Ella Baker Center press release from 2001. The press release contained this passage that quoted Jones:

"Anti-Arab hostility is already reaching a fever pitch as pundits and common people alike rush to judgment that an Arab group is responsible for this tragedy," said Van Jones, national executive director of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights. "We fear that an atmosphere is being created that will result in official and street violence against Arab men, women and children."

"Reclaiming Revolution" also blamed the U.S. for 9/11. A passage on page 45 (27 of the PDF file) reads:

That night, STORM and the other movement leaders expressed sadness and anger at the deaths of innocent working class people. We were angry, first and foremost, with the U.S. government, whose worldwide aggression had engendered such hate across the globe that working class people were not safe at home. We honored those who had lost their lives in the attack -- and those who would surely lose their lives in subsequent U.S. attacks overseas.

Is it any wonder Jones and this Administration want to cloud the date of 9/11 and turn it into a "Day of Service?"

But that wasn't all. WorldNetDaily also reveals today how Jones was the speaker at a 2002 rally in "Commietown" (Berkeley, CA) organized by a front group for the Revolutionary Communist Party.

In 2002, Jones was a keynote speaker at a rally at People's Park in Berkeley, Calif., to mark the national launch of Not In Our Name, a Maoist, terrorist-supporting, anti-war group founded by Revolutionary Communist Party member C. Clark Kissinger. People's Park was created during the radical political activism of the late 1960s.

Jones spoke alongside Jeff Paterson, the first active-duty soldier to refuse orders to be part of the U.S. attack force during the Persian Gulf War.

...Jones was also a leader of a radical group, United for Peace and Justice, or UFPJ, of which his Ella Baker Human Rights Center was an associate. Not In My Name was an affiliate of UFPJ.

The White House did not return multiple WND requests the past few weeks seeking comment on how Jones was screened for his position and whether the White House knew of his admitted radical past.
The name Van Jones has been making a lot of news lately, as a website he co-founded, Color of Change, is behind an attack on advertisers of the Glenn Beck show. The website claims they're going after Beck because he accused Obama of being a racist, but that's false. They're only going after Beck because he exposed Jones of being a Communist back in July. Conversely to their accusation against Beck, Color of Change endorsed the racist view expressed by Kanye West in 2005

"that President Bush 'gave troops permission to go down (to New Orleans) and shoot us (black people)' after Hurricane Katrina. The group, led by James Rucker, then started selling t-shirts on its website two days later which read "Kanye Was Right", and still sell those t-shirts to this day.

This is another example, also, of the secrecy of the Obama Administration, despite the pledge of being the "most transparent" in history. Why the secrecy? Was Jones' criminal background vetted? And what the Hell does Jones have as far as experience in so-called "Green Jobs" besides writing a book to hold an unconstitutional position as one of "That One's" czars?

Some "change" huh? Communism, anti-Americanism, black militant racism, and censorship of dissenting voices, coming from the White House office of Van Jones.

"A Chill Wind" is indeed blowing through this nation from this White House, while the hypocrite Tiny Timmy Robbins' silence is deafening.

UPDATE: 9/2: Gateway Pundit has videos of Jones saying that "white polluters" poisoned minority communities, as well as another calling Republicans "assholes."

And this from a member of an administration which promised to "heal" the partisan divide?

Obama Hits New Lows ... both the Zogby and Rasmussen polls.

The Zogby Poll, which is liberal leaning, has Obama at a 42 percent approval rating, according to NewsMax. The decline in approval has been among Democrats, dropping 13 points from a poll done in July.

Rasmussen's Daily Presidential tracking numbers have his approval index still in double-digit negative territory.
While his job approval is now down to 46 percent, with 53 percent disapproval.
It is interesting to note also, that Rasmussen has most accurately called the last two Presidential elections.

Washington ComPost Shows How They're Creigh Deeds' Campaign PR Firm By Attacking Bob McDonnell Over College Thesis

The Washington ComPost, which rescued the sinking ship of the Drugstore Cowboy Creigh Deeds in the Democrat Primary for Governor, is once again up to dirty deeds to help the sinking Deeds by doing opposition research on Republican Bob McDonnell.

Robert F. McDonnell submitted a master's thesis to the evangelical school he was attending in Virginia Beach in which he described working women and feminists as "detrimental" to the family. He said government policy should favor married couples over "cohabitators, homosexuals or fornicators." He described as "illogical" a 1972 Supreme Court decision legalizing the use of contraception by unmarried couples.

The 93-page document, which is publicly available at the Regent University library, culminates with a 15-point action plan that McDonnell said the Republican Party should follow to protect American families -- a vision that he started to put into action soon after he was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates.

During his 14 years in the General Assembly, McDonnell pursued at least 10 of the policy goals he laid out in that research paper, including abortion restrictions, covenant marriage, school vouchers and tax policies to favor his view of the traditional family. In 2001, he voted against a resolution in support of ending wage discrimination between men and women.

In his run for governor, McDonnell, 55, makes little mention of his conservative beliefs and has said throughout his campaign that he should be judged by what he has
done in office, including efforts to lower taxes, stiffen criminal penalties and reform mental health laws. He reiterated that position Saturday in a statement responding to questions about his thesis.

"Virginians will judge me on my 18-year record as a legislator and Attorney General and the specific plans I have laid out for our future -- not on a decades-old academic paper I wrote as a student during the Reagan era and haven't thought about in years."

If this thesis was such a shock to the liberal establishment, like the Democrat Party and their house organ, the Washington ComPost, this should have become an issue when McDonnell first ran for elected office.

But the reason this thesis is an issue is because the liberal rag and the Deeds campaign want to distract Virginians from knowing who Deeds really is.

I call Creigh Deeds "the Drugstore Cowboy" because his George Wackoff-styled remake is another Democrat Party game of "how can we fool 'em now." He's portrayed as a "moderate to conservative" from the rural area of Virginia. In reality, Deeds is nothing more than a metropolitan liberal from the sticks.

Mason Conservative, quoting from NRO, reveals Deeds has never met a tax increase he didn't like.

As a state legislator, Creigh Deeds has repeatedly voted to hike taxes:

•Deeds voted twice in 2008 to hike the gas tax. Even when gas was at $4 per gallon, Deeds voted to hike Virginia’s gas tax by more than 30 percent (SB 6009 and SB 713, 2008).
•Supported hiking the motor vehicle sales and use tax by 25 percent (SB 5013, 2006 Special Session).
•Voted to double the fuel sales tax in Northern Virginia (SB 458, 2004).
•Supported increasing the motor vehicle registration fee by $10 (SB 5013, 2006 Special Session).
•In 2004, Deeds helped pass a $1.4 billion tax increase, the largest tax hike in Virginia history (Richmond Times Dispatch, 9/22/05).
•That same year he voted to increase Virginia’s cigarette tax by 12 fold (The Roanoke Times, 2/22/09).
•As far back as 1992, Deeds voted to increase the cigarette tax by 60 percent (The Roanoke Times, 2/22/09).
•Opposed Bob McDonnell’s plan to repeal Virginia’s death tax. (The Roanoke Times, 1/10/03).
•Deeds even pulled the plug on a property tax exemption that a non-profit organization requested to create a 273-acre camp on a parcel that had sat vacant for decades. The non-profit group was planning to invest $7 million into the site (The Roanoke Times 2/13/95).
•Even Mark Warner said that 2008 was no time to be raising gasoline taxes.

Virginia Gun Owners Forum also has more in Deeds flip-flopping on issues like gay marriage and partial birth abortion.

Deeds is so desperate that he has used the so-called "failed policies" of George W. Bush in an attempt to tar & feather McDonnell. But let's be serious, Bush's tax cutting created more jobs and quickly reversed the 2001 recession and after effects of 9/11. It should be noted that Bush did not have a 9.5 unemployment rate, nor did he run up a trillion dollar deficit in six months.

If we want to talk about failure, it's easy to link Deeds to the failure that is the Obama Administration. Because even though he acts like a moderate, Deeds (judging from his past record) will run Virginia's economy into the ground, just as Obama has done to America.Judging from the photo above, the supposedly "moderate" Deeds is not ashamed to have the ultra-Leftist failure named Obama campaign for him, nor have his campaign signs look similar to "The Anointed One's."

Doing the Job "Jihad" Gerry Connolly Refuses To Do--Keith Fimian To Hold Health Care Forum & Listen To Voters

This coming Tuesday night, Keith Fimian, the Republican opponent of "Jihad" Gerry Connolly last fall (and running again in 2010) for the 11th District Congressional seat, will do something that Connolly has refused to do.

Listen to the voters in a town-hall forum.

Fimian's campaign sent me the following e-mail announcement.
Responding to citizens’ desire to learn more about legislation moving through Congress, Keith Fimian, Republican candidate for Congress is organizing a panel to help answer questions on health care reform. All citizens of Northern Virginia are invited to attend who want to learn or ask questions.

Health Care Information Forum
Tuesday, September 1st, 2009
Fairfax County Government Center; Board of Supervisors Auditorium
12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22030
7-9 PM.
Doors will open at 6:30PM

The forum will be a panel of experts from non-profit organizations and think tanks. They will be present to talk about proposed legislation and answer questions of interest to citizens on the health care issue only.

In announcing the forum, Keith Fimian said, “Citizens don’t want spin or shouting. They want to learn details about the health care reform being considered in Congress. This non-political forum will be an opportunity for citizens to ask questions about how health care reform will affect them. This is an informational panel to put facts in front of voters – not a sales pitch or rally. Sadly, Congress has done its usual incompetent job of incorporating the American people into its discussions. This forum is a partial remedy to their failings.”

The forum is being held at the Fairfax Government Center in order to make it accessible to as many people as possible. Supervisor Pat Herrity kindly helped arrange access to the Auditorium. Because the event is being held in the government center, no campaign materials, banners or signs are permitted. While capacity is limited, the hope is this gives citizens an opportunity to ask questions and receive answers about this important issue. The panel format is an educational forum with different views on the health care issue, not an argument about politics.

The forum panel will include:
Keith Fimian, moderator
Grace Marie Turner, Galen Institute*
Jim Capretta, Ethics and Public Policy Center*
Thomas Miller,
American Enterprise Institute*

Fairfax Co. School Police Officer Tells Anti-Obama Protester To Get Rid Of Sign: "It Ain't (America) No More, OK?"

That's what Fairfax County School Police Officer Wesley Cheeks Jr. said to the person who took this video outside the Jim Moron/Howard Dean Town Hall Meeting in Reston last Tuesday.

The cameraman was holding an anti-Obamacare sign with a photo, which the officer objected to and threatened to have the subject removed for "trespassing."

Contrast this to how liberals are suspected to have placed flyers with racial overtones on cars in the parking lot of South Lakes High School, where the town hall was held. The flyers slandered opponents of Obama's socialist policies ("Teabaggers" in lib speak, a graphic sexual term) as KKK members who are out lynch the President.

Fairfax County authorities owe this protester, as well as the county taxpayers, an explanation for this squelching of free speech and the right to dissent.

"One Of His Favorite Topics Of Humor Was Chappaquiddick"

That's the headline on this post from National Review Online by Mark Hemmingway:
Jules Crittenden mentioned on his blog he heard Ed Klein, former foreign editor of Newsweek and editor-in-chief of The New York Times Magazine, recalling on air that Ted Kennedy liked to joke about Chappaquiddick. It seemed to defy belief, so I
listened to the episode of The Diane Rehm Show in question and sure enough — I've transcribed what Klein told guest host Katy Kay (Here's a link to the audio
in WMA format, relevant portion starts at about 30:15):

I don't know if you know this or not, but one of his favorite topics of humor was indeed Chappaquiddick itself. And he would ask people, "have you heard any new jokes about Chappaquiddick?" That is just the most amazing thing. It's not that he didn't feel remorse about the death of Mary Jo Kopechne, but that he still always saw the other side of everything and the ridiculous side of things, too.

Hemmingway also notes that, "after he lets it slip Kennedy liked to joke about the woman he killed you can actually hear in his voice that he's trying to backpedal. The show actually cuts to a break as he's trying to explain himself, and I seriously wonder if it wasn't the producers trying to do Klein a favor."

That's pretty sick.

As predicted here Wednesday, liberals are not only using the death of the Chap of Quiddick to push for socialized medicine, but Mort Kondracke is pushing for "immigration reform" (aka amnesty for illegal aliens) to be passed in Kennedy's memory.

2005 political cartoon

So, essentially, the liberal implication for the "Wellstone Memorial, Part Deux" is, "Let's Remember Ted By Driving America Off A Bridge."

Like his scumbag father Joe (a Nazi sympathizer), not only did Ted aid America's enemies in Vietnam and Iraq, he also made an offer to Soviet Leader Yuri Andropov in an effort to hinder the re-election of Ronald Reagan in 1984.

Tea Party Express Begins Today in Sacramento

Today at noon in Sacramento, the Tea Party Express, part of Our Country Deserves Better, launches on their nationwide tour of tea parties in various towns, on their way to DC for the September 12th tea party.

The list of stops is here. A promo video is below.

Among those who will be appearing in DC on September 12th is Kenneth Gladney, the man who was beaten outside a town hall meeting in St. Louis by Obamacare supporting SSEIU thugs and called racial slurs. Lew Uhler, Deborah Johns, Mark Williams of Our Country Deserves Better, along with Lloyd Marcus and Diana Nagy will be among of the touring delegation.

The Obamabots are scared of this true grassroots movement against their socialist agenda that "Astroturfing for Obama" (aka Organizing for America, a DNC paid for group) is launching their own bus tour, as Deborah reports.
OFA has launched its own bus tour to counter the anti-ObamaCare bus tours that are currently making their ways across the country. Conservative activists take heed. There is not an easily accessible schedule posted online of the 11 stops the bus plans to make. The reason for this should be obvious. They want their people at these rallies, not you.

...I suggest that conservative activists continue to drown out their voices by “flocking” to these pro ObamaCare rallies wherever possible. I went to the OFA website for a schedule, but, believe it or not, was unable to find one. I was able to track down three of the stops by scouring the internet:

Wed, Aug 26 – Phoenix (IBEW Hall) (too late)
Thurs, Aug 27 – Albuquerque (National Hispanic Cultural Center)
Fri, Aug 28 – Denver (Tivoli Commons, Auraria Campus)5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

More cities were mentioned in this article:

I did find out, through an Astroturfing for Obama e-mail, that they will hold a "Community Conversation on Health Care at Fairfax County Government Center at 5:30 next Wednesday, September 2, as well as a "send off" for Maryland Sen. Barbara Milkuski.

Check the schedule for the Tea Party Express, make a sign and show your support. If you're coming to DC, I look forward to being with you on September 12 to shout a big "HELL NO" to Obamacare, Crap & Tax and the entire Democrat Socialist Agenda.

Will provide updates when they happen.

Flyers Depicting "Teabaggers" as KKK Hanging Obama Found On Cars After Moran/Dean Town Hall in Reston

Welcome Gateway Pundit, Weazel Zippers readers.

UPDATE: No response from Restonian as to the URL found at the bottom of the flyer. Moe Lane at RedState (who linked here and to others picking up this story) has a copy of the original flyer found and a cached link to the URL, and it's a Leftist website.

In an unprecedented show of arrogance and disregard for the electorate, Democrats have called American citizens who dare to dissent from Obamacare unAmerican, a paid mob, political terrorists, brownshirts and Nazis, among others.

Now, opponents of socialized medicine and the Obama agenda are being depicted as Ku Klux Klan members who want to lynch Barack Obama. That's the message of this flyer which was found on cars outside the parking lot at South Lakes High School in Reston on Tuesday night, after the town hall meeting with Jim "I Like To Hit People" Moran and "Screamin'" Howard Dean.

Image and text from Restonian blog.

A number of people left last night's polite and information-packed "town hall" meeting in Reston to find these stuffed under their car windshields. We've cropped out the URL at the bottom to avoid giving these folks any more attention than they deserve.

The flyer was mentioned in the comments section of the Washington Examiner story on the town hall.
There were KKK flyers on the cars in the parking lot when we left. Why the hell does racism figure into this? Is it because the people opposed to health insurance reform don't have logical arguments at their disposal, and so they're just stuck with creating flyers designed to scare people?

I don't know what the URL was on the flyer, which Restonian was referring to, but the image is not a drawing by an opponent of Obama. Instead, it was drawn by a Leftist cartoonist in Washington DC, named Mike Flugennock.
What got me even more was their total ignorance of the causes and effects of events that happened before January 20, 2009 -- forgetting, for instance, that the current corporate bailout fiasco was pushed by George W. Bush (NOTE: Excuse me, Mr. Liberal idiot cartoonist, but conservatives, myself included, were strongly opposed to Bush's bailout last fall). Listening to the howls from the stage and checking out the composition of the crowd, it was as if the single reaction from the Teabagger Massmind boiled down to "OMFG, the President is a N1GG3R!" -- like the old-timer in Mel Brooks' Blazing Saddles, hollering from the top of the church steeple, "Here comes the new sherriff, and he's a big..." ...and it sure as hell didn't help any as their event was organized and staged by members of a well-known White Power band, Pokerface.

So, considering all this, I thought to myself, "Self, it's time you did a poster that announces the imminent arrival of the National Teabaggers' Convention coming to town on the 12th of September, and maybe inspire some of the local anarchists and antifascists to organize a little welcoming committee." So, I did.

I'm not sure who put the flyers on some of the cars at the town hall, but given the obvious origin of the flyer, (as well as a recent incident in Denver) I would not be at all surprised if someone within the liberal community in Reston, possibly a local Democrat Party/"Astroturfing for Obama" activist was behind placing this bigoted flyer on the car windows. Knowing from the last election of the mean-spirited, hateful nature of some who volunteer for the Hunter Mill area Democrat Party towards anyone who disagrees with them, I wouldn't put it past them. This is a slanderous lie based on tactics straight out of Saul Alinsky's playbook, intended to silence opposition to "Dear Leader" Obama. It is also a sign of their political desperation. They're losing the debate and thus resort to playing the race card, questioning our patriotism, silencing media critics and acts of vandalism nationwide.

I'd be interested to know also if Fairfax County Police might have been notified and if placing these flyers on cars would be considered a bias crime.

Ted Kennedy Passes...

...and in the background, I'm hearing Chris "I've got a tingle up my leg" Matthews of Furball on the Today Show talking bout pushing the socialized medicine reform act through.

Since the liberal talking heads are already doing it, I'm going to predict here the Democrat Party members will start to use Kennedy's death to push for approval of Obamacare as a "let's pass this to remember Teddy" moment.

Heated Town Hall Meeting In Reston Va, Obamabots Stack Deck In Their Favor, Opponents Reportedly Shouted Down Inside

...and some of the Obamabots think those of us who oppose Obamacare (he calls us "fearmongers") should be "euthanized."

Yes, you read that right. And yes, he is on their side. But chances are, you won't see this in the Washington ComPost, See BS, MSNBC and definitely not ABC (All Barack Channel, Obama's propagandists).

Tonight's town hall meeting with Northern Virginia's far Left Congressman (and anti-Semite, ex-wife beater) Jim Moran and "Screamin" Howard Dean, was heavily weighted in the favor of socialized medicine supporters. As reported here yesterday, "Astroturfing for Obama" (aka Organizing for America, the DNC funded organization) sent e-mail to their members telling them to get to South Lakes High School early.

The Obama/DNC front group was also handing out signs to people who came, all with the same message.

I asked these two where they got their signs.

As well as the "Astroturfing for Obama" people.

Union organizers were there, getting petitions signed.

This short video is of a guy carrying union signs from a Obamacare support group Health Care for America Now. This group is a coalition of unions and far-Left groups like and ACORN.

Earlier, this guy was being interviewed with some media outlet, complaining about the "teabaggers" who were "astroturfing" town hall meetings. It's obvious here who the astroturfer really is.

These are videos of how heated it got outside. The first is some liberal lady suffering from an acute case of BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) being confronted by someone who saw the remnants of the World Trade Center when it was still smoking rubble. "Don't tell me about terrorism."

This was later in the evening. Notice the guy in the white hair and his response to Obamacare opponents. He sounds like a parrot, repeating the same stupid line "Not for the war machine" over and over. On second thought, that's probably an insult to parrots, as they have more intelligence than him. Opponents of Obamacare also broke out in a chant of "Sarah, Sarah, Sarah."

I heard from two sources that Obamacare supporters outweighed opponents. Those who spoke up against socialized medicine were, according to one person "shouted down." Another person told me a friend managed to get in. She said he told her he'd "never been called so many nasty things in his life."

Assorted photos below of signs opposing Obamacare

I'll be on the lookout for any video of inside the meeting, and will post any I find.

UPDATE: Mary Katherine Ham was there as well and tweeted. So is Jim Geraghty of NRO, who was inside.

The Criminalization Of Political Differences & Protecting Americans: Obama Lets Race-Baiting AG Holder Go After CIA

Count this as another broken promise from "The Anointed One" that his policy would be to "move on" from the past. (Associated with Obama Press' headline: 'Inhumane' CIA terror tactics spur criminal probe).
WASHINGTON – The Obama administration launched a criminal investigation Monday into harsh questioning of detainees during President George W. Bush's war
on terrorism, revealing CIA interrogators' threats to kill one suspect's children and to force another to watch his mother sexually assaulted.

At the same time, President Barack Obama ordered changes in future interrogations, bringing in other agencies besides the CIA under the direction of the FBI and supervised by his own national security adviser. The administration pledged questioning would be controlled by the Army Field Manual, with strict rules on tactics, and said the White House would keep its hands off the professional investigators doing the work.

Despite the announcement of the criminal probe, several Obama spokesmen declared anew — as the president has repeatedly — that on the subject of detainee interrogation he "wants to look forward, not back" at Bush tactics. They took pains to say decisions on any prosecutions would be up to Attorney General Eric Holder, not the White House (LIE).

Monday's five-year-old report by the CIA's inspector general, newly declassified and released under a federal court's orders, described severe tactics used by interrogators on terror suspects after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. Seeking information about possible further attacks, interrogators threatened one detainee with a gun and a power drill and tried to frighten another with a mock execution of another prisoner.

Attorney General Holder said he had chosen a veteran prosecutor to determine whether any CIA officers or contractors should face criminal charges for crossing the line on rough but permissible tactics.

Inhumane tactics on scumbag al-Queda terrorists? Poor Kahlid Sheikh Mohammed had his family threatened and I'm supposed to shed a tear about it? I say "Piss Off" to AP and that race-baiting, terrorist friendly AG Eric Holder!

Where is the outrage at the inhumanity of the children murdered on 9/11/01, as well as those who grew up without one (or both parents).

Why is the treatment of these Islamofascist terrorist scum caused more outrage than the beheading of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in 2002. Flasback from the WSJ:
The Wall Street Journal has suffered its first casualty of the war. Islamic terrorists kidnapped Daniel Pearl, the paper's South Asia bureau chief, in Pakistan a month ago. Yesterday, the Journal reports, "a videotape obtained by investigators in Pakistan indicated that Mr. Pearl was killed at some point in the four weeks since he was kidnapped."

CNN reports that a "senior U.S. official" told the network "that the tape, which reportedly shows Pearl alive and speaking and then being killed as his throat is cut, came into American hands when two men approached an undercover FBI operative they believed to be a journalist."

Reuters quotes an unnamed Pakistani official as saying: "I have been told that the last words uttered by Pearl in the videotape, immediately before his throat was slit, were 'Yes I am a Jew and my father is a Jew.' "

Kahlid Sheikh Mohammed, whom Eric Holder and AP feel so sorry for, masterminded the murder of 3,000 Americans on 9/11 and admitted to killing Pearl, saying "I decapitated with my blessed right hand the head of the American Jew, Daniel Pearl, in the city of Karachi, Pakistan. For those who would like to confirm, there are pictures of me on the Internet holding his head."

And we're supposed to feel sorry for him? No way. Give KSM a quick military tribunal, shoot the bastard in the head and wrap his body in pigskin, as far as I'm concerned. And why is the War on Terror always referred to as "Bush's War on Terror" by these Obama Lapdog Media outlets. We, as a nation were attacked, or does the AP have their collective nose so far up Obama's ass they forgot that fact?

I can't help but think that, somewhere in a cave, Osama and his number two are delighted, thanks to Eric Holder, Obama and the entire Democrat Party. This ground has been gone over before, but is being dredged up again for the sake of political revenge on a previous administration who only used previous legal precedent to protect American lives after the worst attack on our homeland.

Isn't it telling that this Administration spends their time protecting al-Queda terrorists who planned and trained to attack and kill Americans, while American citizens who dare dissent from the Democrat attempt to impose socialism in the space on six months on America are called "brownshirts," "the Taliban," "a mob" and are profiled (along with veterans) as "domestic terrorists" by the Department of Homeland Security? Why are people who are given the task of "connecting the dots" under criminal investigation when the charges against the New Black Panthers (one of whom is a Democrat Poll Watcher) for voter intimidation were dropped by this AG?

In short, this is now a Department of Injustice being run to protect Americas enemies, racist thugs and allies of this Administration. This will threaten more American lives and put the lives of CIA operatives at even greater risk, because they will be forced to second guess themselves.

Heritage Foundation has six reasons the Department of InJustice should not re-investigate.

This Year's 9/11 Observation Turned Over By Obama To Al-Queda Sympathizer Who Called War On Terror "Immoral"

As if the news of the racist Eric Holder going after CIA employees for protecting America wasn't bad enough, we have this from Kristinn at FreeRepublic. The Obama Administration is turning the observance of the 9/11 terror attacks to a radical Leftists.

Matthew Vadum, writing in today's American Spectator, blows the cover off Barack Obama's plans to hijack the observance of the 9/11 terrorist attacks by turning it over to the radical leftist Lennox Yearwood of the politically well-connected Hip Hop Caucus.

This news has been hiding in plain sight, but got lost in the battle this month over nationalized health care, so Vadum has done a great service by bringing this to our attention.

Vadum's piece has been picked up by Michelle Malkin and Gateway Pundit.

This article is intended to fill in some big pieces of the picture about what this means. Such as Yearwood calling the war on al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan in response to 9/11, "immoral" (Huffington Post, March 20, 2009) and the Air Force accusing the reservist (a 2nd Lt.) of being a threat to national security.

Yearwood is a Marxist who works closely with other leftist terrorist supporting groups including the ANSWER Coalition, and Code Pink.

Yearwood and his anti-American allies have been working to bring about America's defeat in the war on terror. They have used the war to propagandize their broader leftist agenda. To that end, they have cynically allied themselves with Muslim terrorists and state sponsors of terrorism against America.

Obama's White House is no stranger to this crowd. One of Obama's top fundraisers and donors was Code Pink co-founder and Osama bin Laden sympathizer Jodie Evans. (The mainstream media steadfastly refused to investigate Obama's ties to Evans during last year's campaign.)

Vadum ends his article with this thetorical observation: "At no time does anyone explain why this National Day of Service has to be held -- of all the 365 days in a year -- on Sept. 11."

The answer is found in the anti-American, terrorist sympathizing ideology of Barack Obama and his leftist base. Turning the observation of 9/11 over to the anti-American left is akin to turning over the observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day to the Ku Klux Klan.

Yearwood has formed a group called Greening the Block whose policies echo the 'no blood for oil' mantra used by the anti-American left to undermine America's effort to win the war on terror.

Here's a video from October 27, 2007 of Yearwood speaking at a 'No War, No Warming' rally led by Code Pink at the U.S. Capitol. Yearwood accuses the U.S. of waging war "to steal the oil from the Middle East" (isn't that what bin Laden

The annointing of Lennox Yearwood is a signal to our enemies that Obama sides with them and not America on September 11. Cloaking this in green propaganda and community service is a cynical ploy to undermine America on the home front. We're a long way from the country we were on September 12, 2001. God help our troops on the battlefield.

More background on Lennox Yearwood:

Yearwood's bio from his blog at the ACLU:

Rev. Lennox Yearwood, Jr. is the President of the Hip Hop Caucus. In 2004 he was the co-creator of the Vote Or Die! campaign with P. Diddy, and served as Russell Simmons’ Political and Grassroots Director. He was also the Executive Director of Hip Hop Voices a program of Voices for Working Families at AFL-CIO.

"Astroturfing For Obama" (AKA Organizing for America, A DNC Front Group) Attempting To Silence Obamacare Opposition At Reston Town Hall Tomorrow... stacking the deck in their favor, encouraging members (Obamabots) to come early, per this e-mail I received today from Brandyn Keating, Virginia State Director of the DNC front group "Astroturfing for Obama" (aka Organizing for America).

I wanted to send you an urgent invitation to an important town hall with Rep. Jim Moran this Tuesday, August 25th.He'll be talking to constituents and gathering feedback. Whether you ask a question or show your support with a sign, attending this town hall is a powerful way to show where you stand and thank those in Congress who are fighting for reform. I hope you can join us. Here are the

Please arrive as early as possible to the town hall, and make sure that the most powerful voices in this debate are those calling for real reform, not angrily clamoring for the status quo.

RSVP here:
There's even a little flyer for the Obamabots to print out. And they call those of us who oppose them "astroturfers?"

The website of Congressman Moran states that the doors open at 6 p.m. for the event at South Lakes High School, 11400 South Lakes Dr. in Reston, VA. Obviously, this is an attempt by the Democrat Party to silence any opposition to socialized medicine, and make it appear to their allies in the Obama Lapdog Media that the tide is turning their way.

Please, if you're anywhere in the DC Area tomorrow, come to Reston in Fairfax County and express your opposition. Even for those who cannot get in, let's show up with signs, etc and make our voices heard.

I'm planning to be there tomorrow, so stay tuned for more.

New Low For Obama On Rassmussen, -14 Approval Index

Today's Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking index shows "The Anointed One" hitting a new low.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. These figures mark the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President. The previous low of -12 was reached on July 30 (see trends).

Prior to today, the number who Strongly Approved of the President’s performance had never fallen below 29%. Some of the decline has come from within the President’s own party. Just 49% of Democrats offer such a positive assessment of the President at this time.

...Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) now disapprove.

Of the priorities outlined by the President earlier this year, 40% of voters say cutting the deficit is most important. Twenty-one percent (21%) believe health care should be the top objective. While deficit reduction is seen as the most important, 67% say it is the least likely to be achieved.

Can you say, "Goin' Down?"

Recess Rally Protest Against Arrogant Liar, "Jihad" Gerry Connolly

I found out about this after the fact and wasn't able to make it, but a huge crowd made it to the streets outside the (locked) offices of Congressman "Jihad" Gerry Connolly in Annandale, VA yesterday afternoon.

Here's video of yesterday's protest from YouTube.

Part II

Keith Fimian, the Republican who ran unsuccessfully last fall against Connolly, was there and gave his ideas on healthcare. Fimian is planning to run again in 2010 against Connolly, and in this first video likes a voter's idea of a "Contract with the 11th District."

Part II

Gerry Connolly doesn't want to meet with his constituents. Oh wait, he IS holding a townhall meeting on Tuesday afternoon, but it is inside a gated retirement community in Springfield, VA.

What are you hiding from, Gerry? Are you afraid of being confronted with the lies you told about Obamacare opponents on the House floor recently?

Rep. Gerry Connolly (Va.), president of the freshman Democratic class, warned that right-wing groups are taking things to “a dangerous level” by manufacturing anger based on false information.

“When you look at the fervor of some of these people who are all being whipped up by the right-wing talking heads on Fox, to me, you’re crossing a line,” Connolly said. “They’re inciting people to riot with just total distortions of facts. They think we’re going to euthanize Grandma and the government is going to take over.”

...Connolly said he spoke to at least one freshman Democrat who was physically assaulted at a local event. In another instance, he said, a constituent upset about government interference in Medicare had to be reminded that Medicare is a government program.

I can't find a news story of any assault (and you know it would be all over the Obama Lapdog Media outlets), neither does Connolly reveal the name. It's just another in the long line of smears from Connolly against his opponents, just ask those who opposed the renewal of the lease of the extremist Islamic Saudi Academy last year.

Connolly was one Congressman who recently was exposed for wishing to lift the ban on the so-called "torture" photos from being printed worldwide, which would put our troops in more jeopardy. When the idea was floated recently about Gitmo detainees being released in Northern Virginia, or held in Alexandria, Connolly showed his arrogance about the safety and security of northern Virginians in this NRCC video.

Gerry Connolly is the textbook example of an elitist, out of touch liberal politician. He's proven time and time again to be nothing but an arrogant prick, as well as a lying sack of crap. Though I do not live in his district, I hope for the sake of this area he is booted out by voters next November.

More Bad Polling News For Obama: Lib Leaning Zogby Poll Has 50% Disapproval Rating

The free fall of "The Anointed One" in the polls continues.

The Zogby Poll, which is notoriously liberal, has the following bad news for the President, according to Newsmax.

President Barack Obama's popularity has plummeted to a record low, with just 45 percent of voters now approving of his performance as commander in chief, according to the latest Zogby International poll.

Asked whether they approve or disapprove of the president's job performance, just 45.3 percent of likely voters say they approve. That compares with 50.5 percent who disapprove of the job Obama is doing.

The results are a strong indication that contentious national debate over healthcare reform has taken a major toll on the president's popularity.

Those numbers also indicate that Obama clearly is in serious political trouble, Fox News analyst and best-selling author Dick Morris tells Newsmax.

"As soon as Obama dropped below 52 percent . . . he was leaking real voters who had backed him in November," Morris tells Newsmax. "Now that he is down to 45 percent among likely voters . . . he is in deep political trouble."

Rasmussen Reports Daily Presidential Tracking still has his approval index in negative territory (-6), with his approval/disapproval rating at a 50/50 tie.

And the continual drumbeat for socialized medicine, as well as the "cash for clunkers" program ending brings a lot more skepticism about this empty suit in the White House.

No Surprise Here: "Anti-War" Movement Was Really Anti-Bush

I knew it all along! Glenn Reynolds at Astute Bloggers has this from Byron York.
For the Left, War Without Bush is Not War At All. “Remember the anti-war movement? Not too long ago, the Democratic party’s most loyal voters passionately opposed the war in Iraq. Democratic presidential candidates argued over who would withdraw American troops the quickest. Netroots activists regularly denounced President George W. Bush, and sometimes the U.S. military (”General Betray Us”). Cindy Sheehan, the woman whose soldier son was killed in Iraq, became a heroine when she led protests at Bush’s Texas ranch. That was then. Now, even though the United States still has roughly 130,000 troops in Iraq, and is quickly escalating the war in Afghanistan — 68,000 troops there by the end of this year, and possibly more in 2010 — anti-war voices on the Left have fallen silent. . . . For many liberal activists, opposing the war was really about opposing George W. Bush. When Bush disappeared, so did their anti-war passion.”

Why am I not surprised? One: I remember, after January 20th of this year, seeing many people comment that the often "weekly" vigils of these proxy terrorist enablers were starting to drop off.

Two: For all the supposed "anti-war fervor" which started after 9/11 and escolated after the invasion of Iraq, I never once saw any protest of Bill Clinton's bombings of Iraq, or the war in Kosovo in 1999. None of these anti-war Democrats during the Bush years challenged the assertions during the late-1990s that Saddam Hussein was seeking weapons of mass destruction. All we've heard over the last six years was "Bush Lied," but if that's the case, didn't Clinton lie as well?

The so-called anti-war movement, and siding with detained Islamofascist terrorists in Gitmo, was nothing more than the unpatriotic Democrat Party's temper tantrum over Election 2000, because the US Supreme Court stopped their attempt to do in Florida then what they successfully got away with in Minnesota this past election. The Democrats wanted to hinder the war effort (with the help of their comrades in ANSWER, World Can't Wait & Code Pinko) just so they could defeat President Bush politically. Never did it occur to them that in wishing for Bush to fail in the war might cause the deaths of many more Americans, but Democrats have always put party before country.

And they wanted to go after Rush Limbaugh for wishing Obama would fail to implement his socialist agenda?

One of the Democrat Party's creations in 2004, in their lame effort to defeat President Bush for re-election, was Cindy Sheehan from Vacaville, CA. Sheehan became the big media darling for the Bush-hating media during the summer of 2005 in Crawford TX, and went on her crusade against all things American. Though her fifteen minutes ended long ago, and (like Frankenstein) she turned on her Democrat Party creators, she's planning to protest Barack Hussein Obama during his ritzy, high-priced vacation next week on Martha's Vineyard. I would have reported on this sooner, however Cindy found out I was on her mailing list and I stopped receiving her communiques. But, Right Pundits has more details.

I don't agree with a thing Cindy Sheehan says. I think what she does is bad and I despise her actions, but I have to give her a tiny speck of credit for being intellectually honest. Why aren't the Code Pinkos showing up to stand with her? Well, they're too busy these days protesting some clothing store in DC, looking as if they come direct from scaring patrons at a mud wrestling bar (This Ain't Hell). Even in my former stomping grounds of Moron County, CA, Jimmy "Injustice" Gehrity and the Marin Appeasement & Injustice Coalition (or Marin Pinko Jackass Coalition) are onto the typical Lefty environmental wacko extremism, pro-illegal alien and anti-death penalty.

Even the DC march against the war this past March was small, compared to when I saw them on TV or counterprotested in San Francisco.

Meanwhile, my fellow right bloggers and I are still supporting our troops and their mission.

Protest Obama Tomorrow (Thur. Aug 20) Outside DNC Headquarters In DC

I received another e-mail from Organizing for Obama today, which reads:
Tomorrow, President Obama will be coming to the Democratic National Committee for his OFA National Health Care Forum.

Tickets for the forum have already been distributed, but we're inviting supporters of reform to gather nearby to publicly show our support. Please join us -- here are the details:

What: Show of support for President Obama
Where: Outside of the Democratic National Committee
New Jersey Ave. & D St. SE
Washington, DC 20003
When: Thursday, August 20th
Welcome Shift: 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time
Sendoff Shift: 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time

Last fall, when Swiftboaters and special interests attacked President Obama, folks like you came to his defense. We knocked on doors, talked to neighbors, and made our voices heard.

Now, we need to do it again. Your work so far has been incredible, but there's a lot more to do. We need to show that we're ready for real change, this year.

Join us tomorrow to stand up for President Obama and publicly show your support for the big changes that the President is fighting for and that this country needs.

If I were self-supporting, though the writings on this blog, I'd be there tomorrow leading (and covering) the counter-group. Alas, I have to work. But if you're in DC and you oppose Obamacare, how about getting a few friends together to protest the Obamabots?

Speaking of the Organizing for Obama astroturfers, they're doing a great job of busing their people to various events, as Gateway Pundit reports.

Robert Novak - R.I.P. (And Once Again, The Libs Show Their Hate)

Robert Novak died today at the age of 78, due to brain cancer, which he was diagnosed with in July of 2008. Condolences to his family and friends.
Unfortunately, it takes the death of a conservative to show the world how much the Democrat Left, who claim to have a monopoly on compassion, love and tolerance, are in reality hateful, mean-spirited and rotten to the core.

Jonn at This Ain't Hell has examples from Democrat Underground (DUh) of the bile coming from the Democrat left tonight, including calling Novak a "Douchebag of Liberty." Taking Jonn's cue, I paid a visit to this thread at the Daily Kooks and it ain't nice there either. See below for screenshots.
And to think....some of these libs are actually posting how much better they are as opposed to those of us on the right.

David Axelrod's Possible Conflict Of Interest In "Health Care Reform"

Hugh Hewitt has the following at his blog. This could be huge, if all the dots connect!
The allegations in this Bloomberg story --if true-- pose a huge problem for a senior advisor to the president, David Axelrod. This is the heart of the problem:

"Axelrod was president and sole shareholder of AKPD from 1985 until he sold his interest after Obama’s victory, government records show. The firm owes Axelrod $2 million, which it’s due to pay in installments beginning Dec. 31. Axelrod’s son, Michael, still works there. He didn’t return a phone call. The firm’s Web site continues to feature David Axelrod’s work on the Obama campaign. (Emphasis added.)"

The problem is that Axelrod's former firm is currently receiving huge fees "from Healthy Economy Now, a coalition that includes the Washington-based Pharmaceutical Research & Manufacturers of America, known as PhRMA," as well as AARP, the SEIU and other big players in the health care debate.

If Axelrod has been negotiating any part of any deal involving any of these players which are funneling money to the firm that owes him money, or if he is advising the president on the deals with any of these groups, that's a conflict of interest. Laundering the money through a "coalition" doesn't remove the conflict much less the appearance of impropriety. The coalition is in effect partially funding David Axelrod's severance package though its members might have done so unknowingly. These forthcoming payments to Axelrod are much more significant than the sort of "retained ties" that Democrats blasted Dick Cheney for vis-a-vis Halliburton even though there was no high level negotiations between the vice president and his former company.

David Axelrod has some tough questions to answer, and according to Politico's Mike Allen, Politico's Ken Vogel will be publishing more on matters Axelrodian tomorrow. (The transcript of my interview with Allen will be posted here later tonight.) Vogel's story on Axelrod's son from a few days back casts doubt on the Bloomberg story's accuracy as Bloomberg has Axelrod's son still at Axelrod's old firm, but Vogel has him at The Huffington Post. If it was Karl Rove in a similar set of circumstances, the blogs and some in MSM would already be demanding a special prosecutor. There are lots of questions for Mr. Axelrod, the first one being whether the Bloomberg story is accurate. if the answer is "yes," the second will be: "Have you lawyered up?"

UPDATE: Ken Vogel just confirmed that his story in tomorrow's Politico delves into this issue and that Axelrod did not respond to Vogel's e-mail on the subject, though he has done so in the past. The transcript of the Vogel interview will also be up later tonight at the transcripts page.

Vogel also informed me that Axelrod has two sons, one of whom does indeed continue to work at his dad's old firm which is powered up on health care debate dollars.

UPDATE 2: Senator Jon Kyl just expressed surprise when I told him the outline of the story and, without prompting, suggested as I have above that if Karl Rove had been discovered to be in the same situation as David Axelrod, the hounds would be in the hunt already. Of course, this is the Obama-smitten MSM, so it remains to be seen whether any of them start asking the obvious questions. The transcript of my conversation with Senator Kyl will be posted later at the Transcripts page.

Culture of corruption, anyone?

Dems Plan To "Go It Alone" On Socialized Medicine--Don't Stop Going To Townhalls & Saying NO To Obamacare

Per the Drudge Report this evening, that is what the New York Slimes will say in tomorrow's edition.
WASHINGTON — Given hardening Republican opposition to Congressional health care proposals, Democrats now say they see little chance of the minority’s cooperation in approving any overhaul, and are increasingly focused on drawing support for a final plan from within their own ranks.

Top Democrats said Tuesday that their go-it-alone view was being shaped by what they saw as Republicans’ purposely strident tone against health care legislation during this month’s Congressional recess, as well as remarks by leading Republicans that current proposals were flawed beyond repair.

...The Democratic shift may not make producing a final bill much easier. The party must still reconcile the views of moderate and conservative Democrats worried about the cost and scope of the legislation with those of more liberal lawmakers determined to win a government-run insurance option to compete with private insurers.

On the other hand, such a change could alter the dynamic of talks surrounding health care legislation, and even change the substance of a final bill. With no need to negotiate with Republicans, Democrats might be better able to move more quickly, relying on their large majorities in both houses. Democratic senators might feel more empowered, for example, to define the authority of the nonprofit insurance cooperatives that are emerging as an alternative to a public insurance plan.
And if you think the so-called "public option" is off the table, don't start celebrating. Either the one man Beavis & Butthead named Robert Gibbs didn't get the memo, or the statements over the weekend we're just a test to see what the reaction would be. Mark my words, Obama and the libs will put the public option in, but under a different name. Maybe they're meeting with their party "linguist" (aka bullshit artist) named George Wackoff to figure out the right words to fool the Blue Dogs with No Bite and others into supporting a trojan horse public option.

Speaking of which, I received the following e-mail from David Plouffe of Organizing for Obama:
President Obama is holding a live strategy meeting on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time for all Organizing for America supporters. I hope you can join us, online or by phone.

The President will update us on the fight to pass real health insurance reform -- what's happening in D.C. and what's happening around the country. He'll lay out our strategy and message going forward and answer questions from supporters like you. And we'll unveil the next actions we'll organize together.

(Key line) This is a critical time in this President's administration, and in the history of our country. I hope you can join us.

Here are the details:

What: Organizing for America National Health Care Forum
When: Thursday, August 20th, 2:30 p.m. Eastern Time
RSVP and submit a question for the President.

The President wrote to us a few weeks ago to ask us to go the extra mile this month in the fight for health insurance reform. And so far, you've stepped up in a big way: Last week, an astounding 60,000 Organizing for America volunteers stopped by representatives' and senators' local offices. You told your health care stories to staffers and members of Congress -- of losing insurance after getting laid off, of being denied coverage upon finding out about a serious illness. And you thanked those supporting real health insurance reform for all the work they've done so far.

But these local office visits were only part of the story. The D.C. media has been trumpeting coverage of town halls disrupted by angry opposition to reform. But the reality on the ground is very different. Organizing for America supporters are showing up in huge numbers at these meetings all across the country -- outnumbering opponents of reform, often by overwhelming margins. (M.I.M. note--What? These people are delusional! That's not what we're seeing)

You've organized 11,906 local events in all 50 states -- from press conferences to community discussions -- since we launched our big campaign for reform in June. And you've made hundreds of thousands of calls to Congress.

Your work so far has been incredible. But the special interests and partisan attack groups who oppose reform will not let up, and they will tell whatever lies they can to spread fear. There's a lot more work for all of us to do. This Thursday's meeting is our chance to huddle as a team, get the latest information and talk about how we're going to achieve this victory. You don't want to miss it.
Notice from where I wrote "key line" that this whole push for so-called "health care reform" is all politics and all about making Obama look good. The Administration comes first, before the best interests of the nation, in the eyes of the DNC and the Obamabots for Socialism. And they have the nerve to call us partisan?

Do you want to see what kind of bullies that the far-Left House Democrats like "Nostrilitus" Henry Waxman are becoming? According to this AP story (via FreeRepublic) they're demanding financial records from health insurance comapnies.

Wherever you're at, keep going to those town halls and let these politicians know we're against this fast track to socialism known as Obamacare, as well as Crap & Tax. If you're in Reston, VA a week from today, come out to South Lakes High School to the town hall with Jim "I like to hit people" Moron and "Screamin" Howard Dean.

Don't think the battle is won, keep fighting!

Outraged Obamabots Attack Whole Foods With Boycotts After CEO's OpEd Opposing Obamacare

Last Wednesday, the CEO of Whole Foods natural grocery store, John Mackey, wrote an oped in the Wall Street Journal in which he opposed Obamacare and offered some rational approaches to making health care insurance more affordable.
Because of his piece, a bunch of lockstep lefties who populate the Austin-based grocery chain are threatening to boycott the stores because Mackey dares to oppose Dear Leader (Fox News).
Calls to boycott Whole Foods Market are growing louder and more sophisticated following a Wall Street Journal opinion article by the company's chief executive, John Mackey, in which he criticized President Obama's health care plan and offered his own alternative.

Mackey's article first prompted individuals to threaten taking their business elsewhere. But now the Progressive Review, an online alternative publication, is calling for a formal boycott, and campaigns are popping up all over, including on Facebook, a popular online social networking site.

Protesters are hoping a boycott will cut into the success of Whole Foods, the 10th largest food and drug store in the U.S., which reported sales of $1.8 billion for the last quarter, a 2 percent increase from the previous quarter.

As of Saturday, the Whole Foods Internet forum had more than 4,000 postings. One commenter thanked Mackey for revealing his political views.

"While it was a horrible business move, it was a great courtesy," a commenter identified as boycottwf wrote. "Now, I know that my dollars spent at whole foods are going to fund your misguided conservative views."

The commenter added, "Until you publically apologize to the nation and pledge that you will provide better benefits to your employees, I will not spend another dime at your store."

Another commenter identified as Betrayed, who claims to have been a customer for nearly 20 years, said, "I was so shocked to read Mr. Mackey's horrible, horrible opinion in the WSJ. I hope this severely hurts his profits. His customer base is mostly liberal Democrats who will, like me, be horrified at what we have been supporting all this time."
Isn't this typical of Lefties? Once anyone gets out of lockstep with their socialism, you're immediately called a "conservative." And as far as benefits, Whole Foods pays 100 percent of the premiums for employees working over 30 hours (employees pay deductible). That's not bad.

In this national debate over health care, it seems to me that a CEO of one of those "evil corporations" (in the eyes of libs) may know more about healthcare than someone whose only experience in life has been, say, a community organizer.

Wonder if That One will join the boycott next time he buys arugula?

Quid Pro Quo? DNC Chair/Va Gov. Kaine Pardons Three Imprisoned For Murder, Rape: Case Championed By Kaine Contributor, Novelist John Grisham

Virginia's Part-time Governor, Tim Kaine (also appointed DNC Chair by Barack Hussein Obama) pardoned three men who given life sentences for the 1997 rape and murder of Michelle Moore-Bosco.

photo collage from

According to Judicial Watch, the suspects confessed to the murders. also notes that the suspects later claimed their confessions had been because of "coercive police tactics."

"There are many, many aspects of the case that are troubling," the governor said during a 45-minute news conference in the state Capitol on Thursday.

"And I would say that these individuals have raised serious doubts about their involvement, or about the level of their involvement, but I do not believe that they have conclusively demonstrated that there is no possibility that they were involved in this crime," he added.

Then why release them?

Judicial Watch and Hampton Roads mention something the part-time governor won't admit to.

Novelist John Grisham has championed the case of the so-called "Norfolk Four" (one other suspect was released in 2005). Grisham has also donated almost $400,000 to the Democrat Party in Virginia, as well as $175,000 to Kaine and his PAC (Political Action Committee). The family of the victim told the paper: "We do not believe it is a coincidence that Governor Kaine granted these pardons just a few weeks after the announcement that John Grisham intends to write a screenplay."

Whatever the legal circumstances of the case, the existence of a possible quid-pro-quo between DNC Chair/Gov. Kaine and the supporter of the pardoned suspects stinks to high heaven. Why should public safety take a backseat to political cronyism? It has all the earmarks of the controversial Pardongate by Bill Clinton of Marc Rich and others.

This pardon is also more proof in how the Democrat Party has (for the last 40 years since the leftist radicals took over the party) championed the perpetrators (or alleged ones) over the victims of criminal acts. Other notable examples included Marin County's kooky Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey, who wrote a letter of reference for the rapist of a Terra Linda, CA teenager, as well as the Obama Administration's siding with Gitmo terrorists, the race-baiter Henry Gates, as well as Attorney General Eric Holder's penchant of releasing terrorists, and his agency's refusal to prosecute the racist New Black Panthers for voter intimidation in Philadelphia on Election Day 2008.

What Is Not Being Reported About This Weekend, 40 Years Ago

If you've turned on the radio or TV at all this weekend, you're reminded that another 10 years have gone by in remembering the crowning achievement of the Selfish Generation.

That being, Woodstock, where a bunch of smelly hippies got stoned, rolled around in the mud, screwed like jackrabbits and left a hell of a mess for someone else to clean up (very ecologically sound for a bunch of Left-wing tree-huggers).

What is not being mentioned is that 109 Americans lost their lives in defending the freedoms which those upper-class, spoiled Left-wing filth took for granted. I had these heroes on my mind today as my family and I visited the Vietnam Memorial in DC this afternoon.

VFW Magazine wrote about it and just put it up online. Jonn at This Ain't Hell previously typed it and posted first before the entire article was placed online.
While Woodstock Rocked, GIs Died

With the 40th anniversary of the ‘60s cherished rock concert, the so-called “Sixties Generation” remembers fondly those four days in August 1969. Instead, VFW magazine commemorates the 109 Americans killed in Vietnam then.

by Richard K. Kolb

Newsweek described them as “a youthful, long-haired army, almost as large as the U.S. force in Vietnam.” One of the promoters saw what happened near Bethel (nearly 40 miles from Woodstock), N.Y., as an opportunity to “showcase” the drug culture as a “beautiful phenomenon.”

The newsmagazine wrote of “wounded hippies” sent to impromptu hospital tents. Some 400,000 of the “nation’s affluent white young” attended the “electric pot dream.” One sympathetic chronicler recently described them as “a veritable army of hippies and freaks.”

Time gushed with admiration for the tribal gathering, declaring: “It may well rank as one of the significant political and sociological events of the age.” It deplored the three deaths there—“one from an overdose of drugs [heroin], and hundreds of youths freaked out on bad trips caused by low-grade LSD.” Yet attendees exhibited a “mystical feeling for themselves as a special group,” according to the magazine’s glowing essay.

That same tribute mentioned the “meaningless war in the jungles of Southeast Asia” and quoted a commentator who said the young need “more opportunities for authentic service.”

Meanwhile, 8,429 miles around the other side of the world, 514,000 mostly young Americans were authentically serving the country that had raised them to place society over self. The casualties they sustained over those four days were genuine, yet none of the elite media outlets were praising their selflessness.

So 40 years later, let’s finally look at those 109 Americans who sacrificed their lives in Vietnam on Aug. 15, 16, 17 and 18, 1969.

An American Profile

They mirrored the population of the time. A full 92% were white (seven of whom had Spanish surnames) and 8% black. Some 67% were Protestants; 28% Catholic. A disproportionate number—more than one-third—hailed from the South. More than two-thirds were single; nearly one-third married. Not surprisingly, the vast majority (91%) were under the age of 30, with 78% between the ages of 18 and 22.

Overwhelmingly (87%), they were in the Army. Marines and airmen accounted for 8% and 4% of the deaths respectively, with sailors sustaining 1%. Again, not expectedly, two-thirds were infantry¬men. That same proportion was lower-ranking enlisted men. Enemy action claimed 84% of their lives; non-hostile causes, 16%. The preponderance (56%) had volunteered while 43% had been drafted. One was in the National Guard.

Of the four days, Aug. 18—the last day of “peace and love” in the Catskills when the 50,000 diehards departed after the final act—was the worst for the men in Vietnam. Thirty-five of them died on that one miserable day. Many perished in the Battle of Hiep Duc (see VFW August 2008) fighting with the hard-luck Americal Division in the Que Son Mountains. In fact, 37% of all the GIs lost in this period came from this one unit.

So when you hear talk of the glories of Woodstock—the so-called “defining event of a generation”—keep in mind those 109 GIs who served nobly yet are never lauded by the illustrious spokesmen for the “Sixties Generation.”

The New Media Script: Linking Town Hall Protesters To Hate Groups

That's what Brian Ross for the Obama Healthcare Propaganda network, formerly known as ABC, did today.

And his guest was none other than Mark Potok, member of the left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center, who was a large source of information for the Department of Homeland Security "Conservatives are Terrorists" report (Newsbusters).

Potok has been spreading this claim ever since the election. To show you how off the chart these people are, the SPLC even called the American Legion a hate group, which Potok lamely tried to deny in a comment posted at This Ain't Hell. To the SPLC and their allies, our opposition to Obama is based on his race, instead of his radical far-Left, socialist agenda. We're all a bunch of buck toothed rednecks with white sheets in the closet and just don't know it.

This template fits in with the Obama Lapdog Media, who parrot these exaggerations as they are so invested in the success of this Administration. Along with Doug Ross, another parrot is that failed left-wing radio host Ed Schultz (seated in the front row at Obama's first press conference), who said the following.
"Sometimes I think they want Obama to get shot. I do. I really think that there are conservative broadcasters in this country who would love to see Obama taken out."

When you look at that statement, it is ridiculous on its face. I've never heard anyone say that. However, I seem to recall an Airhead America host, Randi Rhodes, implied President Bush should be assassinated not once, but twice! That didn't rile Ed's moist panties, neither did the books, movies, artwork, and signs at "peace rallies" calling for George W.'s assassination. The SPLC didn't utter a peep either.

Maybe the SPLC was talking about this(Fox News):
An African-American man from Mississippi admits posing as a white supremacist to send a death threat across state lines by Facebook.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 20-year-old Dyron L. Hart of Poplarville pleaded guilty Wednesday in federal court to making a threat in November 2008.

Hart admitted creating a name and using a white supremacists' photo to pose as a white man who planned to kill blacks because Barack Obama had been elected president.

It's been a week after a conservative black man was assaulted with racial slurs and kicks in St. Louis at the hands of Obama supporting SSEIU thugs, and there has been absolute silence about that attack, except from Fox News, talk radio and the internet. Coincidence?

I wouldn't be surprised if there is some kind of triangulation between the White House, Mark Potok and allies in the Obama Lapdog Media to push the "Obamacare Town Hall Opponents Are Racist Hicks...." mantra. They're unable to sell this lemon called "Health Care Reform" to Americans of all background. As a result, it's time for them to attack their opponents...Saul Alinsky style.
