This has been re posted after being pulled due to "copyright issues." Enough BS wonders if the Democrats were behind this, as the video had received over a million views in five days before being pulled.
Watch and be informed. Please pass this around to your family, friends and neighbors.
It is from an unnamed source who works in a major MSM outlet, confirming what we've known all along.
“Off the record, every suspicion you have about MSM being in the tank for O is true. We have a team of 4 people going thru dumpsters in Alaska and 4 in arizona. Not a single one looking into Acorn, Ayers or Freddiemae. Editor refuses to publish anything that would jeopardize election for O, and betting you dollars to donuts same is true at NYT, others. People cheer when CNN or NBC run another Palin-mocking but raising any reasonable inquiry into obama is derided or flat out ignored. The fix is in, and its working.” I asked permission to reprint without attribution and it was granted.Frightening how the supposed "fourth branch of Government" the supposed "watchdogs" of the public have become America's version of Pravda.

Before and after the vote, Democrats couldn't wait to engage in partisanship. "Do Nothing" Nancy Pelosi may have doomed what appeared to be sure passage of this bill by engaging in a ultra-partisan rant against the "failed Bush economic policies." After the vote, Barney Frank couldn't wait to blame Republicans for the bill's failure.
What a load of crap! Ninety-four (94) Democrats voted against the bill. That's the story being ignored in the "blame the Conservative Republicans in the House" mantra.
And no, Nancy-Nine-Percent, it wasn't the "failed Bush economic policies" that caused this. It was your party, covering up for the excesses of the cronies who paid big time campaign hush money to Democrat politicians like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Barack Hussein Obama to obstruct any oversight into agencies like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
What happened to the "most ethical House" you promised, Do Nothing Nancy? A load of crap, like this bill was! It shows why you will go down in history as the Worst Speaker of the House. And you have one hell of a nerve to accuse those of us who opposed this as being "unpatriotic." You, who along with your party, have advocated for American defeat in Iraq, who have slandered the American military time and again. All while telling us "don't question our patriotism," now you want to play this game? Just because most of the country was opposed to the implementation of socialism and destruction of the free market.
You want to see "unpatriotic?" Take a look in the mirror at the botoxed, bug-eyes looking back at you in the mirror of your Pacific Heights mansion, you miserable failure!
Lost in the partisan rancor is this fact--most Americans were opposed to this taxpayer funded boondoggle. I saw where only 25 percent of the public supported the bailout. And with good reason.
Why should I and every other taxpayer have to pay for the corruption of a few, when these problems could have been avoided had certain politicians not stood in the way of oversight into agencies like Fannie and Freddie? Furthermore, where is the accountability for those in Congress who allowed this to happen? Barney Frank (opposed oversight) and Chris Dodd (biggest recipient of campaign donations) are running the respective committees overseeing the bailout. Obama, their Presidential nominee, was the second biggest recipient of Fannie/Freddie campaign money who employed Franklin Raines and Jim Johnson as advisers. It's like the foxes guarding the hen house. There are no hearings, no subpoenas, with the threat of perjury, against those in Congress who stood in the way of any oversight of these agencies. Yet these phony-baloney Congresscritters will waste taxpayer money on partisan fishing expeditions against the Bush Administration. But when it comes to a financial mess they created, they're too busy covering their asses and expect you and I, the American taxpayer, to foot the bill in the process. They could give a damn less about what it costs us in lost tax dollars and the savings we've lost already in our investments.
The problem isn't with the market, nor capitalism. The problem resides in the lack of responsibility and accountability for those who took advantage of the system and the politicians who covered for them. This bailout, as written, would do nothing to solve the problem. It would have only encouraged more to act crooked, pay off the right politicians to get them off the hook and let the taxpayers pick up the pieces.
But when it comes to race, what is understood? And what is misunderstood?
And how can it be that in 2008 — 143 years after slavery was abolished, decades after the civil rights movement — an AP-Yahoo News poll could find that racial misgivings could cost Sen. Barack Obama the election?
In search of explanations, two Associated Press reporters — one black, one white — listened to people of both races along Detroit's divides: Alter Road, which separates the city from the tony Grosse Pointes near Lake St. Clair, and 8 Mile Road, the vast northern border between a mostly black Detroit and its mostly white suburbs.
But read some of the lines written in this story, all written with the intent to stereotype whites as bigoted rednecks.
"My kids have been called nigger babies. ... That was from a white family," says Cherlonda Hampton, a black woman shopping at an outdoor mall on 8 Mile Road.
A petite mother of nine who looks half her 37 years, Hampton says she was harassed by whites while living in suburban Detroit. Feces were smeared on her car. A dead bird was left on a tire. When her child was bitten by a white classmate, the white principal didn't seem to care. After a year, Hampton returned to her segregated Detroit neighborhood.
Charles at LGF astutely points out the following:
In every other circumstance the Associated Press avoids printing racial slurs, even in quotations, and uses phrases like “the N word” instead. But for some reason in this article there it is—“the N word,” spelled out in all its ugliness, big as life.
Why is that, A(O)P?
And then there's this line:
White working-class Detroiters fled the city in droves, many to Macomb County and its working-class suburbs north of 8 Mile Road. Detroit's white-flighters were among the first to be dubbed "Reagan Democrats" — socially conservative, economically progressive, mostly Catholic voters who abandoned the Democratic Party for the GOP, in part because Republicans exploited their racial fears.
Where is the proof, Ron Fournier, that Republicans exploited racial fears? Who is the political party with a high-ranking Senator who is a former Ku Klux Klan member and the sole surviving opponent of the 1964 Civil Rights Act? Hint, he's not a Republican.
If there is any stoking of racial flames and distrust among the races, it is by Ron Fournier of the A(O)P, who show once again how they are acting as the media relations team for the Obama Campaign.
Keep in mind this is while John McCain is back in Washington working on the bailout deal.
The use of this heavily politicized 2005 hurricane by Obama is another attempt to inject race into this campaign. He's done it once before. With the financial crisis, he's attempting to link the hurricane and say "if you're not white and rich, McCain will leave you behind like they did in New Orleans."
It's a shameless attempt to link an act of God with a financial storm which he (Obama) and his party are mostly responsible for, in ignoring and stonewalling any oversight of institutions like FreddieMac and FannieMae.
But why let truth stand in the way if you're a racist like Barack Hussein Obama?

(paraphrased quote) "Uh, Jim, uh I have a bracelet too, it's of uh....uh (looks at wrist) the mother of Sgt. Ryan Jopek uh...uh gave me this bracelet of her son..."
Newsbusters has a story which is getting no play whatsoever in the liberal Obama MSM. The family of Sgt. Jopek told Obama to stop wearing the bracelet with their son's name on it. Obama has clearly disregarded their wishes and continues to wear it.
Radio host Glenn Moberg of the show "Route 51" asked Mr. Jopek, a man who believes in the efforts in Iraq and is not in favor of Obama's positions on the war, what he and his ex-wife think of Obama continually using their son's name on the campaign trail.
Jopek began by saying that his ex-wife was taken aback, even upset, that Obama has made the death of her son a campaign issue. Jopek says his wife gave Obama the bracelet because "she just wanted Mr. Obama to know Ryan's name." Jopek went on to say that "she wasn't looking to turn it into a big media event" and "just wanted it to be something between Barack Obama and herself." Apparently, they were all shocked it became such a big deal.
But, he also said that his ex-wife has refused further interviews on the matter and that she wanted Obama to stop wearing the reminder of her son's sacrifice that he keeps turning into a campaign soundbyte.
Here's the kicker. The interview with Mr. Jopek happened in March 20 of this year. So it is on the record that six months ago, the father of Sgt. Jopek stated they did not want Obama to wear this memorial to their son. Yet, Obama has decided to exploit their son's sacrifice for the sake of being elected President.

As reported here and elsewhere, law enforcement officials in Missouri, including St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce and Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, all Obama Supporters, have formed "truth squads" and have threatened critics of Barack Hussein Obama with criminal libel charges--all with the support of the Obama/Biden campaign.
Gov. Blunt Statement on Obama Campaign’s Abusive Use of Missouri Law Enforcement
JEFFERSON CITY - Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on news reports that have exposed plans by U.S. Senator Barack Obama to use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics.
“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.
“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.
“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.
“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting Missouri law enforcement to intimidate people and kill free debate is reminiscent of the Sedition Acts - not a free society.”
The governor has it right. This is a violation of Missourian's civil rights and an attempt to silence critics of "The One." Isn't it the Left who always reminds us about how "dissent" is essential to a democracy.
I'll go further. These are Gestapo tactics straight out of the Third Reich being employed by the Obama Campaign. We sacrificed thousands of our bravest to fight this threat to our freedom in Europe sixty years ago, only to have a presidential campaign use these same tactics against the freedom they fought to defend.
This requires a Justice Department investigation against not only the Obama Campaign for (as pointed out here) a violation of the so-called Ku Klux Klan Act, but these local elected officials for abuse of power.
Though a liberal, Newman was not the "in your face" type as many of today's "actors." His Newman's Own brand of food for charity even supported many volunteer organizations on military installations. He was also a World War II veteran in the Navy who served as a radioman on TBM Avenger torpedo aircraft.
Maxine Waters (Democrat Socialist-CA) "We don't have a crisis in Fannie Mae."
Lacy Clay (D-LA) "This hearing is about the political lynching of Franklin Raines (also an advisor to Barack Hussein Obama's campaign)."
Barney Frank (D-MA) "I don't see anything to report in raising safety and soundness problems."
Watch it, and see how Republicans warned of problems with these mortgage giants, including the high bonuses.
But that is a lie.
When you hear the words "middle class tax cut" from Obama or any other Democrat, grab your wallets. And I'm not talking to "the rich." I'm talking to working Americans.
Where have we heard this rhetoric before?
"I want to make it very clear that this middle-class tax cut, in my view, is central to any attempt we're going to make to have a short-term economic strategy."Sounds like Obama, right? Guess again. Those were the words of William Jefferson Clinton during his 1992 campaign for President. Here's a campaign commercial from that year.
"The only people who will pay more income taxes are the wealthiest 2 percent, those living in households making over $200,000 a year."
Instead of a "middle class tax cut," taxes on the middle class rose as the Clinton Administration gave us the largest tax increase in American history. Just six days before taking office, Clinton said, "From New Hampshire forward, for reasons that absolutely mystified me, the press thought the most important issue in the race was the middle-class tax cut. I never did meet any voter who thought that." In fact, news reports stated people earning less than $100,000 paid an additional $3 billion in taxes in 1994. I remember earning less than $20,000 in 1994 and having to pay more in taxes than I had previously.
So, when it comes to "middle class tax cuts," voter beware, that is a smokescreen which will cause you to pay more in taxes, if you vote for a Democrat candidate.
That is the truth.

Tonight, Henry Kissinger isn't happy about being mischaracterized by Obama, according to the Weekly Standard.
"Senator McCain is right. I would not recommend the next President of the United States engage in talks with Iran at the Presidential level. My views on this issue are entirely compatible with the views of my friend Senator John McCain. We do not agree on everything, but we do agree that any negotiations with Iran must be geared to reality."
"If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will," Obama said.
Jonn at This Ain't Hell links to a story from Bear Creek Ledger about a Texas reservist in the Dallas area whose vehicle was vandalized by anti-war, anti-military cowards ( who are probably Obama supporters as well).
According to Dallas TV KXAS:
The vandals used a box cutter to destroy the inside of his jeep, they slashed five tires and smashed through the windshield. Perhaps the most shocking detail to the vandalism was the message spray painted on his hood.
In red paint the vandals spraypainted the message, “Soldiers are murderers.”
But here's the kicker. Dallas Police said attacks against military personnel cannot be considered hate crimes.
The same was true for a threatening note left on a statue meant as a memorial to 9/11 victims locally in Fairfax County, VA.
A local sculptor, Karen Swenholt, recently did a 9-foot-tall statue, "The Dust Cries Out," showing a nude male and female rising from the ashes of the World Trade Center with their arms stretched out towards the sky. She placed it on a Virginia Dept. of Transportation right of way outside her home in the Falls Church area on September 8, after she said she had received permission.
Then, around 6 p.m. on September 10th, she found the following note inside a plastic bag attached to her statue.
"If we were to put a statue of Allah with his tears because of your wars, you would burn it to the ground ... you will take this down today or we will do this."
After calling police, Swenholt kept an eye on the statue by staying in her car with her dog and a fire extinguisher.
But when she originally called the police, they told her, according to the Fairfax County Times, that hate crime charges could not be filed because "it was against Americans." But to the dismay of several neighbors, the statue was removed from the right of way, because of "complaints" received about the nudity.
It should be noted that Great Falls Street is located a few blocks away from Route 7, a.k.a Leesburg Pike, which has been referred to by some as the "Wahhabi Corridor." A bookstore in Falls Church near Route 7 was found to sell Jihad manuals and a Leesburg Pike address was used by one of the 9/11 terrorists as a fake address.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but isn't there something in the US Constitution called equal protection under the law? If that's the case, why are members of our military and Americans remembering the 9/11 victims excluded from hate crime laws?
KMOV in St. Louis reported last night that St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch and St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce are threatening criminal libel charges against anyone who makes false statements about "The One," Barack Hussein Obama.
All of this is done at the request of the Obama Campaign, of which McCulloch and Joyce are supporters.
From KMOV report:
"...They will be reminding voters that Barack Obama is a Christian who wants to cut taxes for anyone making less than $250,000 a year. They also say that they plan to respond immediately to any ads & statements which violate Missouri ethics laws."In other words, if you don't drink the Obama Kool Aid, we'll make you.
Joyce: "We want to keep this campaign focused on issues, we don't want people to get distracted and Missourians don't want to get distracted by by these divisive character attacks. So we're here to respond to any character attacks to set the record straight."
Gateway Pundit says, "** Here you go Truth Squad... Sue me first! Barack Obama Attacked White People!" St.Louis CofCC has more.
Don't forget this one, how Barack Hussein Obama slipped and mentioned his "Muslim Faith."
This is called "Abuse of Power" plain and simple. Since the Obama campaign failed in their attempt to use the Justice Department to go after critics, they're going to the local level. Someone needs to file a complaint to the Justice Department against McCulloch, Joyce and any other elected official who is abusing their public office to go after critics of a campaign. This isn't a "truth squad," it's a liberal Gestapo of law enforcement officials who will goosestep over to your house and arrest you for practicing your First Amendment rights.
How many times has George W. Bush been compared to Adolf Hitler by liberals? Yet show me how many people have been prosecuted and put in jail for speaking falsehoods against the Bush Administration? Yet these same liberals are silent when their candidate is using tactics out of the Third Reich to gain the Presidency.

According to viewers commenting on several sites, Sen. Lindsey Graham appeared on Greta van Sustren's FOX News show tonight and revealed that Democrats wanted at least 20 percent of the money ($700 billion) to go to a group called ACORN for their community housing program.
GRAHAM: "20% of the money that should go to retire debt that will be created winds up in a housing organization called ACORN, that is an absolute ill-run enterprise, and I can’t believe we would take money away from debt retirement to put it in a housing program that doesn’t work.”
You mean this ACORN (Miami Herald)?
TALLAHASSEE -- Two suspicious Seminole County voter registration cards became a flash point Wednesday in the Republican effort to suggest the community group ACORN is committing fraud in its historic Florida get-out-the vote efforts.Flashback to past allegations of ACORN fraud in Missouri, felony charges in Washington State and previous allegations in Florida.
...In Orange County, ACORN staffers submitted multiple, duplicate registrations on behalf of six separate voters this summer. One individual had 21 duplicate applications. Election Supervisor Bill Cowles and his staff protested, noting in a June memo that ACORN had been submitting sloppy forms as well.
...ACORN's voter-registration drives have come under fire from Republicans for being sloppy and allegedly fraudulent in North Carolina, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico and Colorado, said Republican National Committee chief legal counsel Scott Cairncross.
Cairncross noted that ACORN in Washington state had to file an agreement with prosecutors to improve procedures after seven workers were charged with criminal voter-registration fraud.''This organization is not new to this game. They are a quasi-criminal Democrat-affiliated organization that harms the elections process,'' Cairncross said.
It's bad enough we have to pick up the pieces from the financial mess many of these lawmakers stood in the way of reforming. Now, they want to give a chunk of our tax dollars to a partisan group involved in fraudulent voter drives?
I don't think that money would be going to housing programs, instead, just for registering new Democrat voters at the local cemetery.
Jodie Evans, the co-founder of Code Pinko and one of Barack Hussein Obama's top campaign donation bundlers, met with Iranian Dictator Mahmood Amadamnnutjob last night in New York.
Kristinn Taylor at FreeRepublic (linked from MelanieMorgan.com) noted that Susie "Medea" Benjamin, Brian Becker, Leslie Cagan, Larry Holmes and former US Attorney General under LBJ Ramsey Clark, joined Evans in meeting with the dictator. Becker, Cagan, Holmes and Clark lead various so-called "anti-war" groups which fall under the umbrella of Communist linked organizations like the Workers World Party.
The meeting was arranged by the Fellowship of Reconciliation and also included so-called "religious" leaders as well. The FOR website called the Iranian madman "President Ahmadinejad," which is akin to calling Adolf Hitler "Chancellor Hitler" instead of "Nazi Dictator." According to the Code Pinko website, the traitors gave the Iranian dictator a petition signed by 50 U.S. mayors urging diplomatic, not military action against Iran (which US cities?).
“U.S. government officials are quick to stir up hostilities with Iran, but the American people are tired of war,” said Benjamin, co-founder of the nonpartisan (sic) women’s peace group CODEPINK. “The peace movement represents the sentiment of the majority of Americans who want our two countries to find ways to work together and improve relations. We are modeling the behavior we want to see our government adopt.”
The CODEPINK women proposed inviting American and Iranian artists to build a “peace park” in Tehran, a memorial dedicated to people-to-people commitment to peace and diplomacy between our two countries.
"...It’s rare for a head of state to take time during an official U.N. visit to meet with the peace community, especially in a situation where the host government—represented by the Bush administration—is so hostile,” said Evans, co-founder of CODEPINK. “The fact that the meeting took place and was so positive is, in itself, a major step forward.”
Stirring up hostilities with Iran? Didn't anyone inform this communist hag that Iran held Americans hostage for 444 days starting in November 1979 and has been linked to terrorist groups who have killed Americans? Maybe Medea doesn't know, as that may have been during the time she was living in Cuba where she felt she "died and went to heaven."
Kristinn Taylor also notes that:
"The government of Iran is listed as a state sponsor of terrorism by the State Department and is strongly believed to be developing nuclear weapons.
Obama has stated that he would be willing to meet with Ahmadinejad and other enemies of the United States without conditions. Evans met with Obama in Beverly Hills last week at an exclusive $28,500 per person fundraiser. As a bundler for Obama, Evans is granted regular briefings with top Obama staff members and meeting with Obama and his vice presidential nominee Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware.
Obama has come under heavy criticism from military families and troops support organizations over his alliance with Evans."
This is outright treason, to meet on friendly terms with the leader of an enemy nation who has also express his desire to wipe the State of Israel off the map. With a month before the important Presidential Election, this news needs to be made public and Obama needs to be asked about his relationship with Evans & Code Pinko, people who have aided the terrorists in Iraq back in 2004. Is Evans serving as an intermediary between the Iranian Dictator and Obama, due to her status in the campaign?
The last thing America and our men and women in uniform need is a terrorist enabler named Barack Hussein Obama as Commander in Chief.

Obama Media Outlets CNN & AP Distort Laura Bush's Words About Palin Lacking Foreign Policy Experience
First lady Laura Bush says Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin lacks sufficient foreign policy experience but is a very quick study.Or is that what she really said?
Over at FreeRepublic.com, a Freeper named an amused spectator found a YouTube clip of the CNN interview with Mrs. Bush, conducted by Zian Verjee, which tells a different story.
It's obvious from the interview that Mrs. Bush was not trying to imply that Palin was inexperienced. Unfortunately, she clearly meant to say that has not been in her relm of duties as governor. Never mind that Mrs. Bush clearly stated Palin has executive experience.
BUSH: I have a lot of confidence in Sarah Palin, she’s got a lot of really good common sense, and I think that’s very important. She’s also got executive experience from being a governor and a mayor. I’m thrilled to have the chance to vote for Sarah Palin on the Republican ticket.
VERJEE: (Laughs hysterically) But do you think she has the kind of foreign policy experience....?
BUSH: Well, obviously, of course she doesn’t have that, you know, that’s not been her role but I think she is a very quick study and uh and fortunately John McCain does have that sort of experience.
But that's just what happens. Say one phase the Obama MSM desperately wants to hear and they twist it out of context in their shameless attempt to help the Obama Campaign.
The other says "Call me if you need me" and "I'm still debating."
One party warned over and over about an impending credit crisis.
Another party stalled and blocked any effort to do anything about it. Their Presidential candidate took thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from two home lending giants.
Add to that last sentence how Dr. Evil Harry Reid arrogantly told John McCain not to come back to Washington to help put a plan together.
What a Major League @$$^*!e the detestable Reid is! Party before Country is his motto.
Nevertheless, President Bush has asked both McCain and Obama to meet with him on a bailout bill tomorrow (as reported by Jake Tapper at ABC). Obama has accepted.
The difference between McCain & Obama is staggering. McCain leads, Obama follows.
Who do you trust to make the hard decisions?
This crisis has it's roots in the November 1999 repeal of the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act, signed into law by President Clintoon (Sweetness & Light). Gateway Pundit also notes that John McCain "attempted to pass legislation to reform mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac back in 2005 but was blocked by Dems. President Bush publicly called for GSE reform 17 times in 2008 alone and the Democratic Congress ignored him."
Kevin Hassett summed up who was behind the fall of Fannie & Freddie at Bloomberg.com.
For the first time in history, a serious Fannie and Freddie reform bill was passed by the Senate Banking Committee. The bill gave a regulator power to crack down, and would have required the companies to eliminate their investments in risky assets. Now the FBI is investigating this mess, doing the job that Democrats like Barack Hussein Obama, Barney Frank & Chris Dodd passed on.
If that bill had become law, then the world today would be different. In 2005, 2006 and 2007, a blizzard of terrible mortgage paper fluttered out of the Fannie and Freddie clouds, burying many of our oldest and most venerable institutions. Without their checkbooks keeping the market liquid and buying up excess supply, the market would likely have not existed.
But the bill didn't become law, for a simple reason: Democrats opposed it on a party-line vote in the committee, signaling that this would be a partisan issue. Republicans, tied in knots by the tight Democratic opposition, couldn't even get the Senate to vote on the matter.
Why aren't those Democrats investigated as well, for obstructing any reform into these agencies?

Per The Jawa Report, these are the highlights of the investigation:
Extensive research was conducted by the Jawa Report to determine the source of smears directed toward Republican Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. Those smears included false allegations that she belonged to a secessionist political party and that she has radical anti-American views.
Our research suggests that a subdivision of one of the largest public relations firms in the world most likely started and promulgated rumors about Sarah Palin that were known to be false. These rumors were spread in a surreptitious manner to avoid exposure.
It is also likely that the PR firm was paid by outside While not conclusive, evidence suggests a link to the Barack Obama campaign. Namely:
* Evidence suggests that a YouTube video with false claims about Palin was uploaded and promoted by members of a professional PR firm.
* The family that runs the PR firm has extensive ties to the Democratic Party, the netroots, and are staunch Obama supporters.
* Evidence suggests that the firm engaged in a concerted effort to distribute the video in such a way that it would appear to have gone viral on its own. Yet this effort took place on company time.
* Evidence suggests that these distribution efforts included actions by at least one employee of the firm who is unconnected with the family running the company.
* The voice-over artist used in this supposedly amateur video is a professional.
* This same voice-over artist has worked extensively with David Axelrod’s firm, which has a history of engaging in phony grassroots efforts, otherwise known as “astroturfing.”
* David Axelrod is Barack Obama’s chief media strategist.
* The same voice-over artist has worked directly for the Barack Obama campaign.
This suggests that false rumors and outright lies about Sarah Palin and John McCain being spread on the internet are being orchestrated by political partisans and are not an organic grassroots phenomenon led by the left wing fringe.
After the expose, evidence on YouTube connecting Ethan Winner to these anti-Palin ads disappeared, but not before screenshots and videos were saved with the incriminating evidence. Winner has now confessed he was behind the video smear of Palin, but claims he "acted alone." Jawa calls the confession "Clintonesque."
Which makes sense. If this was really a one-person project, why the closing of online accounts and disappearing evidence linking the PR firm to the ad? Seems as if there's a lot of ass covering going around, and it ain't just protecting the firm, if you get my drift.
These smear ads, the kid of a Tennessee Dem Rep (a self confessed "Obamacrat") who breaks into Palin's e-mail. What's next? One thing's for sure, there's a lot of funny stuff going on and it's too coincidental to be the work of just "lone nuts."
As someone familiar with many of the motley crew in the Olema/Pt. Reyes Station/Bolinas area from my times as a performing musician playing out there, I can attest, this is what happens after 40 plus years of mixing "Mary Jane" and socialism.

Bush is disliked (though he's more popular than the Do-Nothing Democrat Congress), the economy is bad and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have been undermined. So Obama should be cruising to victory in November, right?
Wrong! Instead of certain victory, the unthinkable smell of defeat is in the air. So the liberal elitists in the media are laying the template to explain why Obama will lose, if the election is close.
The racism of those ignorant redneck crackers in America (Yahoo News--Poll: Racial views steer some white Dems away from Obama).
Deep-seated racial misgivings could cost Barack Obama the White House if the election is close, according to an AP-Yahoo News poll that found one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks — many calling them "lazy," "violent," responsible for their own troubles.
The poll, conducted with Stanford University, suggests that the percentage of voters who may turn away from Obama because of his race could easily be larger than the final difference between the candidates in 2004 — about two and one-half percentage points.
...More than a third of all white Democrats and independents — voters Obama can't win the White House without — agreed with at least one negative adjective about blacks, according to the survey, and they are significantly less likely to vote for Obama than those who don't have such views.
Not until the thirteenth paragraph do AP writers Ron Fournier and Trevor Tompson state:
Race is not the biggest factor driving Democrats and independents away from Obama. Doubts about his competency loom even larger, the poll indicates. More than a quarter of all Democrats expressed doubt that Obama can bring about the change they want, and they are likely to vote against him because of that.
Three in 10 of those Democrats who don't trust Obama's change-making credentials say they plan to vote for McCain.
Still, the effects of whites' racial views are apparent in the polling.
Statistical models derived from the poll suggest that Obama's support would be as much as 6 percentage points higher if there were no white racial prejudice.
But in an election without precedent, it's hard to know if such models take into account all the possible factors at play.
So there it is. Never mind that Obama's extremist friends, his far-Left ideology and lack of experience make people less likely to vote for him, the AP has their template and they're running with it--racism will rob "The One" of the Presidency.
Never mind that Obama would not have risen to this historic moment of being a major party's nominee for President had it not been for whites who voted for him. For all the cries about racist attitudes affecting voters, where was the same question when Ken Blackwell, Lynn Swann and Michael Steele, all black conservatives who would have been great public servants, lost important elections in 2006? The liberal navel gazing was nowhere to be found.
The elitists in the Obama MSM are doing their best to stoke racial animosity and divisions in a way that would make any Kleagle in the Ku Klux Klan proud.
Two celebrity Obama supporters have taken Obama's new grassroots campaign tactic he announced in Elko, NV to heart. They're getting in our face with their vulgarity.
Margaret Cho is some comedienne I've never heard of who has a show on VH1. Robert Stacy McCain (from LGF Hot Links) wrote the following on her MySpace blog about Gov. Sarah Palin, after first insulting John McCain's status as a POW. I've included a screenshot (WARNING: graphic language).
I am not voting for McCain. I hope that is obvious. I am sick of everyone saying – "He was a good soldier. He was a good soldier."
Um yeah. He was captured.
So he was not that good.
And now with Sarah Palin at his side, they have actually become the worst ticket imaginable. The only way it could be worse would be if Satan were running with Chuck Norris as his VP. Actually, Lucifer-Norris sounds better than McCain-Palin.
But even though I would never, ever vote for Palin, I am kind of obsessed with f**king her. She is sexy and hot in a MILF/Cougar way. Like you could have that real mature, straight to the point, adult, over forty, gonna cum multiple times with a big, oversize t-shirt on and nothing else and "I don't care what I look like cuz I am gonna bust nuts in your curl" kind of f**king with her. I want to steam up those glasses and show her what a pitbull with lipstick really needs – doggy style!
Seriously – I wanna eat her Alaskan p*ssy from behind. Like an Eskimo. What?! I'm just trying to keep warm!
Although you know that thing is frozen and my tongue would probably stick.
Is it any wonder that Cho spoke at a pro-Obama voter registration drive at Temple University? San Francisco even made this past April 30 Margaret Cho Day, with "Greasy" Gavin Newsom applauding her.
Then there's Sandra Bernhard, another deranged lib who said the following about Palin in a recent stage show at the DC Jewish Community Center.
Now you got Uncle Women, like Sarah Palin, who jumps on the s--t and points her fingers at other women. Turncoat b---h! Don’t you f--kin’ reference Old Testament, bitch! You stay with your new Goyish crappy shiksa funky bulls--t! Don’t you touch my Old Testament, you b---h! Because we have left it open for interpre-ta-tion! It is no longer taken literally! You whore in your f--kin' cheap New Vision cheap-ass plastic glasses and your [sneering voice] hair up. A Tina Fey-Megan Mullally brokedown bulls--t moment. That's not all, according to the Theatre J blog, Sandra tells Palin not to come into Manhattan or she'd "get gang-raped" by some of Sandra’s big black brothers
So this passes for entertainment from liberals? In 2004, it was vulgar jokes about Bush and sexual innuendo, now it's gang raping and sexually demented writings about a woman governor?
It is the face of ugly, pure and simple.
I guess there's truth to the saying that what begins in California eventually moves East.

Code Pinko Co-founder (& McCain/Palin Speech Interrupter) Jodie Evans At Obama's Hollywood Fundraiser
Kristinn Taylor at FreeRepublic has been at the forefront since the beginning of the year exposing how Evans, has bundled between $50,000 to $100,000 in contributions for Obama. This despite Evans being the co-founder of a group that once gave $600,000 in aid to Fallujah, Iraq, when terrorist insurgents were holed up in that town.
Evans also expressed support for the terrorist insurgency in Iraq and claimed earlier this year that Osama bin Laden had a valid point for attacking America on September 11, 2001. Her group has led protests in front of Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington DC since March 2005, where soldiers wounded in fighting the War on Islamofascist Terror are recovering.
Is Obama blind to the anti-American, anti-military extremism of Evans, or is she his example of a "get in their face" supporter he mentioned the other day? And yet we do not dare question Obama's patriotism.
Well I do, especially when he hangs out with such characters of ill repute.
The question was simple: Why are the Democrats so afraid of Palin and her popularity?
The answer was astonishing.
"You got to be kind to the disabled," Rangel said.
That's right. The chairman of the powerful House Ways & Means Committee called Palin disabled -- even when CBS 2 HD called him on it.
CBS 2 HD: "You got to be kind to the disabled?"
CBS 2 HD: "She's disabled?"
Rangel: "There's no question about it politically. It's a nightmare to think that a person's foreign policy is based on their ability to look at Russia from where they live.
So that's what Charlie Rangel thinks of Sarah Palin, because she doesn't look at the world through his socialist, racist lens. Rangel's comments were denounced by Rep. Peter King and even disabled advocates.
"Charlie Rangel's comments are clearly disgraceful," King said. "This is just another liberal Democrat who can't accept an independent woman running for president. We should be sensitive to her or any woman who has a child or family member who has any affliction at all. And so to use the word disabled in the context of a female candidate for vice president who has a child who is disabled really is wrong. Charlie owes her and the entire disabled community and apology."
Michael Imperiale of Disabled In Action Of Metropolitan N.Y., said, "It makes me feel as if he's trying to put her down, trying to say she's not good for the presidency or the vice presidency. A disabled president ran this country. He was disabled. His name was Roosevelt."
Rangel laughs it up with Islamic terrorist supporters Code Pinko during the Democrat National Convention in Denver
Rangel has been the subject of controversy, after earning rental income on a Dominican Republic villa he's owned since 1988 which he has not paid taxes on. Of course, being a Democrat, he won't give up his post on the House Ways & Means Committee (Hey "Do Nothing" Nancy Nine-Percent, what about that "Culture of Corruption?").
Rangel is also well know for making similarly hateful and racist statements. After Hurricane Katrina (D-Louisiana) in 2005, Rangel called President Bush "our Bull Connor."
Earlier in 2005, he compared the Iraq War to the Holocaust, saying, "It's the biggest fraud ever committed on the people of this country. This is just as bad as six million Jews being killed. The whole world knew it and they were quiet about it, because it wasn't their ox that was being gored." He also stated about Islamofascism, "to call it Islamic terror is discriminating, it's bigoted, it is not the right thing to say." No wonder he likes terrorist sympathizers like Code Pinko (as pictured above).
Rangel has also used race in ways to express opposition to political opponents. When the Republican Congress proposed tax cuts after coming to power in 1994, Rangel said, "It's not 'spic' or 'nigger' anymore. They say, 'Let's cut taxes.'"
Had any Republican made any of these statements or behaved in such a corrupt manner, not only would they have lost their committee leadership posts, they would have been expelled and imprisoned. It's another example of how Democrats can get away with anything and their leadership stands by them.
It's another example of how the Democrat Party is as demented as Charlie Rangel, and why they must lose power.

Mudd cites the close relationship with the CBC and Democrat Party, going so far as to call them "family."
Is it any wonder? When John McCain and three other Senate Republicans tried to push legislation for reform, Democrats blocked it. Democrats also blocked an earlier attempt to reform the mortgage agency.
Despite "Do Nothing" Nancy Nine-Percent boldly saying Democrats had no role in the recent financial meltdown, it looks as if their fingerprints are all over it.

And I was correct (Eddie Van Halen Reaches Out To Sammy Hagar Over The GOP's Use Of Their Song "Right Now")
"I got goosebumps from it — my fur went up," says the band’s ex-frontman, Sammy Hagar, who co-wrote and sang the song — and said he’d be "just as happy" if Obama played it. "I was honored that a potential president of the United States used those words in a positive sense, like, 'We gotta act now!' "
Hagar, who’s tight-lipped on his presidential endorsement ("I vote for the man, not the party," he says) heard that McCain used the tune via a deluge of phone calls. "I got calls from relatives, friends, doctors, lawyers… everyone thought it was so cool," he says. "Then I started getting excited. Those words are an old Zen philosophy — it’s totally cool that they’re timeless."
Even former bandmate Eddie Van Halen rang Hagar up."I got a message on my cell phone and it was Eddie’s voice," Hagar recalls. "He goes, 'Sam? This don’t sound like you. I got the wrong number.' And he hangs up! So I hit redial. He didn’t answer, but I left a message: 'Ed, it’s me. If you would like to talk about the 'Right Now' situation I'd love to speak to you about it.'"
The two never connected, which raises some lingering questions. "Why didn’t [Van Halen] say no when Pepsi Cola gave us a million dollars to use the song in a Pepsi Light commercial?" asks Hagar. "That’s when you say no. That isn’t the message of this song." But when a potential future president is using it to bring a message to the world, he says, "I’m going, 'Hell, yes!'"
Being in a field dominated by liberals (musicians), Hagar has to be tight lipped about his choice for President. Yet it's no secret that he has given money to Republican candidates, including George W. Bush. I'm sure he doesn't care who uses the song because he's a class act also, compared to Eddie and Alex Van Halen (that's what hanging with David Lee Roth does to you).
All I can say is when the next Van Halen record comes out or the next tour comes to town, I'm voting with my wallet and going to see Sammy Hagar instead!

In the video below, Obama says:
"I would argue, though, that my experience previous to elected office equips me for the job. You know, I have a background as an attorney. I've represented affordable housing organizations to build affordable housing, (Tony Rezko, M.I.M. note) something that is a major issue in the district. I've chaired major philanthropic efforts in the city, like the Chicago Annenberg Challenge that gave $50 million to prop school reform efforts throughout the city."
The CAC's successful grant application was written in 1993 by William Ayers, a professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago (and unrepentant Weather Underground, anti-American terrorist, M.I.M.) . After extensive community-based discussions also involving Anne Hallett of the Cross City Campaign for Urban School Reform, and Warren Chapman of the Joyce Foundation.
At its founding, the Annenberg Challenge was made up of three constituent parts:
*The Chicago School Reform Collaborative, co-chaired by William C. Ayers;
*a Board of Directors initially recruited by the Collaborative, which was chaired from 1995 to 2000 by Barack Obama, at the time a practicing attorney.
*The Chicago Schools Research Consortium, a research arm of the Challenge.
The American Thinker (linked from Gateway Pundit) has more about the radical Obama's former employer Ayers, in whose home his political career began. Ayers and wife (as well as fellow Weather Underground terrorist) Bernadine Dohrn, received rings from the North Vietnamese communists made from a downed US Aircraft.
Bernadine Dohrn made numerous contacts with Fidel Castro's Cuban Mission at the UN in 1968 and 1969, during which time she arranged for SDS groups to visit Havana.
After returning from Cuba, Dohrn and others met with North Vietnamese and Viet Cong representatives in Budapest, Hungary, to discuss antiwar strategy on US campuses. Speaking a few days later at an assembly of revolutionary student movements at Columbia University, Dohrn reported that the Vietnamese communists she met in Budapest were working with US GIs in Saigon, attempting to obtain military information.
As a gesture of solidarity, the Vietnamese who Dohrn met in Budapest presented her with a ring made from an American aircraft shot down over North Vietnam. Bill Ayers would receive a similar ring while meeting with Vietnamese communists in Toronto. He later recalled being so moved by the gesture that he "left the room to cry." He said, "I realized...America was an evil... and that I was... living inside the belly of the beast...."
In January 1969, at the request of the Cubans and the Vietnamese, Dohrn assembled another SDS delegation to travel to Havana to plan what the Chicago Sun-Times called an "antiwar campaign during an eight-day seminar with representatives of Hanoi and the Viet Cong."
Obama worked closely with these radicals, yet wants to fool America into believing he barely knows these people and repudiates their past life.
Yet Ayers and Dorhn still believe their anti-American, anti-Capitalist 1960's rhetoric. These videos (Dorhn here, here and Ayers here) weren't made when Obama was eight yeard old either.
They were made in 2007.
I'm talking about "Troopgate," the real scandal involving Barack Hussein Obama's violation of the Logan Act, in attempting to tell the Iraqi Government to wait until the November 2008 election is passed to negotiate troop draw downs.
It's true! Because Obama's spokesperson, in the midst of denying the story that appeared in the New York Post, confirmed it.
But Obama's national security spokeswoman Wendy Morigi said Taheri's article bore "as much resemblance to the truth as a McCain campaign commercial."
In fact, Obama had told the Iraqis that they should not rush through a "Strategic Framework Agreement" governing the future of US forces until after President George W. Bush leaves office, she said.
That's what the New York Post story was about.
Where's the investigation into Obama's undermining of a sitting US President? Where's the MSM outrage?
It's directed at another non-story; that Sarah Palin bought a tanning bed.

How Obama Campaign, Lib Media, Democrats Are Conspiring To Make "Troopergate" Non-Scandal An October Surprise
Amanda Carpenter at TownHall.com has the details, including an audiotape: Obama Partisan Tampers with Palin Subpoena List.
Investigator Steven Branchflower admitted he had ceded control of his subpoena list to Sen. Hollis French (D.) during Alaska’s Joint Judiciary Committee September 12 hearing that was scheduled to approve subpoena requests. [CLICK HERE FOR AUDIO.] French is a partisan who has endorsed Palin’s Democratic presidential ticket rival Barack Obama for president and is actively supporting his candidacy.
...Rep. David Guttenberg (D.) asked Branchflower why he was requesting subpoenas for only those people attending the meeting and not Tibbles himself.
Branchflower said he would “have to defer that question to Mr. French.”
“I put the list together with, talking to Mr. French,” Branchflower added.
Sen. Gene Therriault (R.) told Branchflower, “I don’t understand why you would have to defer that question to Sen. French. If it’s your list you’re in complete control of the list, then why can’t you answer the question?”
Branchflower had no explanation. He only offered, “I’m not sure why his name was removed. My initial request was to have him on the list.” At that point, French interjected. “It appeared to me there wasn’t the political will to subpoena Tibbles.”
“Something’s fishy here,” Therriault replied. “I mean either Mr. Branchflower conducts his investigation without direction, and now we know he’s been directed on the date and changing what he’s doing and how he’s doing it because of the time pressure he is feeling. And now we’re hearing that people that he’s trying to get information from, there’s direction going on on that, too.”
Indeed. Although the investigation is far from concluding, French has suggested it may culminate in an “October surprise,” perhaps even Palin's impeachment as Governor-- a game-changing outcome that would certainly increase the Democrats chances of winning the White House in November.
The final report, which French has already described as “damaging,” is set to be released on October 31, four days shy of the presidential election. Since the investigation began last August, there have been disputes over the timing over the report’s release, as Therriault mentioned. Although there’s been general agreement that Branchflower should conduct his investigation in a “timely” fashion, some Democratic politicos, like French, have been pushing for an October deadline.
French, who is “project director” of the inquiry against Palin, and investigator Branchflower are two of three main players in this investigation Republicans say have been tainted by partisan politics. The other is Democratic Sen. Kim Elton, chairman of Alaska’s Legislature’s Legislative Council that’s overseeing the investigation. Both French and Elton are strong Obama backers.
....According to campaign finance data available on opensecrets.com Elton has donated at least $2,000 to Obama’s campaign. Three other Democrats on the Elton’s 14-member council are also supporting Obama for president, as identified on Obama’s presidential website.
Further fueling the GOP’s fire is the fact that former Commissioner Monegan and state trooper Wooten are surprisingly mild-mannered about this “scandal” that’s blown into a national news story after Palin’s vice presidential appointment.
Monegan told the Anchorage Daily News on August 30 that he was never pressured to dismiss Palin’s former brother-in-law. “For the record,” he said, “no one has ever said fire Wooten. Not the governor. Not Todd. Not any of the other staff.”
This stinks to high-heaven. Where's the scandal? This trooper allegedly tasered an 11 year old boy (Palin's nephew) and drank while on duty. If she wanted him fired, she was right to do it. Now if she'd been protecting the trooper's job because he was a family member, that is scandal. This is just like PlameGate, a non-story, non-scandal being circulated by partisan Democrats for the sole purpose of political gain. It also fits right into Obama's sleazeball tactics of corrupt Chicago politics. Get everyone thrown off the ballot in his 1996 State Senate race on some technicality. Have your media surrogates unseal your Republican opponents divorce records in your 2004 US Senate race. Now the same thing is happening against Gov. Palin. Is that why the 30 Obama legal goons are in Alaska, going around like rats in a sewer for any slime they can throw her way.
It's time for us in the blogosphere and the American electorate to put the Obama Campaign, the Democrat Party and the Obama MSM on notice--we're onto your dirty tricks! We've seen this same crap from you before. Indicting Caspar Weinberger the weekend before the 1992 election in which the prosecutor's assistant (James Brosnahan) contributed money to the Clinton/Gore campaign days before the indictment came down. The revelations in 2000 (again, the weekend before the election that George W. Bush had been arrested for a DUI. In California, we saw it weeks before the 2003 recall election, stories that Arnold Schwarzenkennedy had "fondled" an actress.
And where's the media in all this? The same media who have spent the last 35 years acting arrogant after exposing Richard Nixon now stand by and give a free-pass to a politician whose dirty deeds make Nixon look like a choirboy.
This isn't change, it's simply Obama Democrats putting frosting on the same old crap and passing it off as cake.
How did the two candidates for President react?
John McCain came the closest to sounding like a leader, saying (from Newsbusters.org), "there's been tremendous turmoil in our financial markets and Wall Street. People are frightened by these events. Our economy, I think, still, the fundamentals of our economy are strong. But these are very, very difficult times, and I promise you we will never put America in this position again. We will clean up Wall Street."
The candidate of "change," Barack Hussein Obama, did nothing to reassure Americans. Instead he, as well as "Do Nothing" Nancy-Nine Percent blamed Republicans for the problem.
Is this a road Obama and the Democrats want to travel?
According to records by OpenSecrets.org, guess who the top lawmakers are who received money from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Lehman Brothers? Democrats.
Wait, it doesn't end there. When it comes to the list of recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie & Freddie, number two on the list is Barack Hussein Obama, who received $6,000 from PACs (political action committees) and $120,349 from individuals associated with the mortgage lenders. Chris Dodd was number one on the list and Nancy "Nine-Percent" Pelosi received a combined $56,250 from PACs & individuals. Democrats collected 57 percent of that money from Fannie & Freddie.
At Lehman Brothers, Obama was again number two as a recipient of campaign funds ($395,574 all from individuals). At the top of the list was Hillary Rotten Clinton, receiving a total of $409,980, of which $3,000 was PAC money. Schumckie Schumer and Chris Dodd followed. John McCain was 7th on the list. OpenSecrets notes also that:
Since 1989, Lehman Brothers's employees and political action committee have given $9.2 million to federal candidates, parties and political action committees, with 54 percent of that going to Democrats. In the current Congress, 271 lawmakers have collected nearly $3 million since 1989, with 72 percent going to Democrats.
Jay at Wizbang also notes the following unflattering connections:
Franklin Raines worked at Fannie Mae for years, rising to vice-chairman until Bill Clinton tapped him to head up the Office of Management and Budget. Raines returned to head Fannie Mae in 1999, staying until he "retired" in 2004 amid allegations of accounting irregularities and the revelation that he had received a sweetheart mortgage deal from Countrywide. If this is a road that Obama and the Democrats want to go down, then let's do it. But it looks as if they don't want that, as the road to all this financial mess leads to people affiliated with and allied with Democrats.
Jim Johnson preceded Raines at Fannie Mae, where he had run the company as chairman from 1991 to 1998. Johnson served on Barack Obama's vice-presidential search committee until it was revealed that he, too, had gotten sweetheart loans from Countrywide.
Is that the same reason that "Do Nothing" Nancy and "Dr Evil" Harry Reid aren't screaming and pushing for Congressional Hearings, because they and their party might get bit in the ass?
UPDATE: Byron York details the Democrat connections with Fannie Mae.
...According to Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Obama made his demand for delay a key theme of his discussions with Iraqi leaders in Baghdad in July.
"He asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington," Zebari said in an interview.
Obama insisted that Congress should be involved in negotiations on the status of US troops - and that it was in the interests of both sides not to have an agreement negotiated by the Bush administration in its "state of weakness and political confusion."
"However, as an Iraqi, I prefer to have a security agreement that regulates the activities of foreign troops, rather than keeping the matter open." Zebari says.
Though Obama claims the US presence is "illegal," he suddenly remembered that Americans troops were in Iraq within the legal framework of a UN mandate. His advice was that, rather than reach an accord with the "weakened Bush administration," Iraq should seek an extension of the UN mandate.
While in Iraq, Obama also tried to persuade the US commanders, including Gen. David Petraeus, to suggest a "realistic withdrawal date." They declined.
If this is true, then Obama has been caught red handed using our military as a pawn for his political ambitions. It is not just beyond contempt, it is treason, and shows how Obama is unfit to serve as Commander in Chief of our military.
Here's the welcome page to her website, the Manipulator (fitting name).
“We stand by the respectful image of John McCain that we used on our cover, and we expect to be judged by it," said Editor James Bennet. "We were not aware of the manipulated and dishonest images Jill Greenberg had taken until this past Friday. When we contract with photographers for portraits, we don't vet them for their politics--instead, we assess their professional track records."
Really? Well, as Michelle Malkin points out, if the editors or whomever hired her had done their work, they would have found how she's made children cry for an anti-Bush photo collection.
It seems as if the search tool known as Google is not known in the newsrooms of the Obama MSM.
Question is, will The Atlantic do the right thing and fire Greenberg, or will they "stand by" her, members of the liberal Obama MSM do for one another?

Racial Predjudice Is Factor If Obama Loses, Says Race-Baiting Harvard Professor In Washington ComPost
Kennedy begins his piece talking about moving from South Carolina to DC with his parents due to the Jim Crow era during that time and of related memories from that time, mixed in with his elation to seeing Obama winning the primary in South Carolina. After listing why he likes Obama, he underscores the possibility that he might lose the election and how would "black Americans" feel.
"Whether black onlookers believe that this election was decided "on the real issues" and that Obama was "judged fairly" will be shaped in part by future developments, including the nature of the campaign in its closing weeks (will race-baiting intensify?) and the demographics of the final voting tally (will people who have traditionally voted Democrat vote differently this time around?).
I anticipate that most black Americans will believe that an Obama defeat will have stemmed in substantial part from a prejudice that robbed 40 million Americans of the chance to become president on the day they were born black. They will of course understand that race wasn't the only significant variable -- that party affiliation, ideological proclivities, strategic choices and dumb luck also mattered. But deep in their bones, they will believe -- and probably rightly -- that race was a key element, that had the racial shoe been on the other foot -- had John McCain been black and Obama white -- the result would have been different.
Kennedy then says, a few paragraphs later, this equally offensive line.
If Obama loses, I personally will feel disappointed, frustrated, hurt. I'll conclude that a fabulous opportunity has been lost. I'll believe that American voters have made a huge mistake. And I'll think that an important ingredient of their error is racial prejudice -- not the hateful, snarling, open bigotry that terrorized my parents in their youth, but rather a vague, sophisticated, low-key prejudice that is chameleonlike in its ability to adapt to new surroundings and to hide even from those firmly in its grip.
So, in other words, myself and everyone who is opposed to Barack Obama and plan to vote for John McCain are closet bigots. It doesn't matter to Kennedy that we have questions about Obama's experience, his far-Left policies, his ties with radical America haters like Bill Ayers or racists in the same category like Rev. Wright & Fr. Pfleger. He's convinced that we're all voting on skin color.
In that frame of mind, it is Kennedy who is the real racist, because he (and others like him) only see this election through the prism of skin color. Isn't that what great civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. asked us not to do ("content of character vs color of skin")? Instead of that civil message, we have this dangerous trend of racial blackmail used by Kennedy, Gov. David Patterson and the liberal Obama media, who are doing their best to shame America into voting for Obama with subtle race-baiting tactics.
Where were Kennedy and the other "if you don't vote for Obama, you're a racist" were so concerned about racism against black politicians when Michael Steele and Condoleezza Rice underwent the worst kind of racist attacks and racial stereotypes, all from "progressive" liberal Democrats?
This kind of race-baiting does nothing to make an intellectual argument in voting for Obama. Instead, people like Kennedy only threaten to further divide the races with their rhetoric.
And, in doing so, the whole country loses.
UPDATE: To get a different perspective from Randall Kennedy's narrow minded view of why Obama might lose, check out this column by Kevin Ferris of the Philadelphia Enquirer "Don't cry racism if Obama loses: He couldn't have gotten this far without white support." I found this posted here by Skye at Midnight Blue, who also noted an interesting coversation she overheard when flying back from the RNC Convention.
I'm not one to eavesdrop, but the man was speaking right next to me, and what I heard gave me goosebumps.
He stated his support for John McCain over Obama was due to the social issues that Obama and the DNC support. He did not want our country to devolve into a mess with no value system.
This was spoken by a black father of a mixed race child. Obviously, he does not view race as divisive and does not want his son to grow up in country that puts race above unity. Guess what, neither do I. I'm voting for McCain/Palin so this man's son can grow up secure in who he is as a person, and not have his outlook colored by the culture of racial politics.

"1982, John McCain goes to Washington," the announcer intones. "Things have changed in the last 26 years, but McCain hasn't.
"He admits he still doesn't know how to use a computer, can't send an e-mail, still doesn't understand the economy, and favors two hundred billion in new tax cuts for corporations, but almost nothing for the middle class."
Jonah Goldberg at National Review Online has an explanation about why McCain doesn't use a computer or send e-mail. It was found in a 2000 Boston Globe article.
McCain's severe war injuries prevent him from combing his hair, typing on a keyboard, or tying his shoes.
So is this the new, tougher Obama Campaign, mocking McCain's lack of computer skills which are due to the torture he suffered from Hanoi Jane Fonda & Bill Ayers' friends?
Keep it classy, Obama!
More Dishonest Journalism From The Washington ComPost, Who Distort Palin's Comments At Son's Deployment Ceremony
Palin Links Iraq to Sept. 11 In Talk to Troops in AlaskaExcuse me, Washington ComPost reporter Anne Kornbutt, I don't see where Palin said Saddam Hussein had anything to do with Iraq. She specifically mentioned "the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans."
By Anne E. Kornblut
Washington Post Staff Writer
Friday, September 12, 2008; Page A01
FORT WAINWRIGHT, Alaska, Sept. 11 -- Gov. Sarah Palin linked the war in Iraq with the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, telling an Iraq-bound brigade of soldiers that included her son that they would "defend the innocent from the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans."
The idea that the Iraqi government under Saddam Hussein helped al-Qaeda plan the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, a view once promoted by Bush administration officials, has since been rejected even by the president himself. But it is widely agreed that militants allied with al-Qaeda have taken root in Iraq since the U.S.-led invasion.
"America can never go back to that false sense of security that came before September 11, 2001," she said at the deployment ceremony, which drew hundreds of military families who walked from their homes on the sprawling post to the airstrip where the service was held.
That is al-Queda. Flashback to CNN August 26, 2005 - Al Queda in Iraq Issues Violent Manifesto
Laying out its ideology in a broad manifesto, the group al Qaeda in Iraq -- which has been behind many of the worst attacks, beheadings and kidnappings in Iraq -- says the insurgency is in better shape than the United States acknowledges and vows to continue the insurgency and "destroy the American empire."
"Every now and then, the schoolboys of the Pentagon and the adolescents of the Black House keep blasting our ears with talks of pure arrogance and conviction saying, 'We will not leave Iraq until we accomplish our mission.' This desperate catchphrase that they keep repeating is used to make the public believe that the mujahedeens are in bad shape, as if they are begging the Americans, saying, 'Please Americans, leave Iraq,' " the group says in an e-book, an extensive document on the Internet.
"We vow by the name of God that we are determined to destroy the American empire," it says.
And this, from Inquirer.net: Bin Laden calls for Iraq escalation in video
"...Bin Laden urged his followers to step up their fight in Iraq, saying there are two solutions for stopping the war there.
The first solution "is to continue to escalate the killing and fighting against you (the United States). This is our duty, and our brothers are carrying it out, and I ask Allah to grant them resolve and victory," he said.
The second solution, he argued, is to overturn the US political system.
Looks to me like bin Laden's followers who want more 9/11's are there in Iraq, despite the ComPost's attack on Palin.
