No Obasms Here! The Thought Of This Guy Becoming President Scares The Living Hell Out Of Me

Yes, Barack Hussein Obama is giving me a feeling and it definitely ain't the Obasms that the media and many at his rallies experience. Check this frightening video out, which I saw on Confederate Yankee (along with partial transcript at Powerline).

How are we supposed to fight al-Queda, Barry? Oh, I forgot. You're going to attack our ally Pakistan and talk with our enemies. That was tried once before, in 1938 by Neville Chamberlain and it didn't prevent World War II from happening.

Chamberlain's 1938 appeasement of Hitler didn't stop the Nazi madman or World War II. Young Barack must have been sleeping in history class and missed learning that lesson.

Like most liberal Democrat politicians, I don't think Obama loves this country. Let's not forget how this guy has a problem with wearing a flag pin on his lapel, or doesn't place his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played. Send A Personal Message To Paratroopers in Afghanistan

Blackfive writes the following, asking readers to send messages of support to our paratroopers in Afghanistan. This, especially in light of a smear story written by the New York Slimes.

"A recent article by Elizabeth Rubin in the New York Times painted one Platoon of this Brigade in a less than favorable light. The article sensationalized the facts in a negative way, which served only to cause undue stress on the Soldiers and family members. The author failed to mention successes within the Brigade such as substantial humanitarian aid (tons of food and clothes) delivered to local villages, medical care for local children and adults, road projects, clean water projects, training of Afghan National Army personnel, distribution of school supplies, etc. [Don't worry, friends, Deebow is preparing a more detailed take down of Elizabeth Rubin. Stay tuned for that.]

Historically, spring is a time of heavy fighting in this region as the terrorists and insurgents emerge from their caves after the harsh winter temperatures and snows. Let's show these Soldiers how much support they have from home to help them through the spring and the remainder of this long and dangerous deployment.

Great Stories From Berkeley--Medea Screams For Marines To Defend Her, Boycott Against Berkeley Gains Steam

Melanie Morgan has a great story on her website about another protest/sabotage event outside the Marine Recruiting Center in Berkeley. It comes from one of our Marines, and a great American, Eamon Kelley. This brave young man had back surgery recently but still made it to for the Feb. 12th protest against the Berkeley City Council's treason. To me, his dedication to his brothers-in-arms is a symbol of the Marines motto, Semper Fidelis, "Always Faithful."

Anyway, Eamon was back in Berkeley yesterday and wrote the following (and this is really funny!)

"While we were at the protest in Berkeley from 12 to 4 PM a white volvo drove by and a man spat upon code pink. They chased him down the street and got into a verbal altercation. The police were NO WHERE in sight. That's not the best part, ready for this? Medea Benjamin yelled and I quote "Marines!" she actually yelled for our help because this man had stepped out of his car. Lol. I even asked her if she was yelling Police and she told me "I said Marines" then put her arm around my friend Allen (the Marine vet) Ironic? Ok back to the emails!! "

That's priceless! Speaking of prices, people are speaking to Berkeley with their wallets, refusing to support that treasonous town.

So Barack Hussein Obama, the front runner in the race to be the Party of Treason's (Democrat) nominee, yesterday responded to John McCain by saying al Queda in Iraq existed, but only after the Iraq War started (or, in Democrat terms, Bush's War).

Naturally, the adoring liberals responded with a giant of Obasm (when you combine Obama and orgasm).

Hey Barry! You're wrong schoolboy! Remember the now dead terrorist al-Zarqawi? He ended up in Baghdad in 2002! That's one year before coalition forces went into Iraq.

You want even more evidence of an al-Queda/Iraq connection? This one comes even before George W. Bush was President of the United States, from an ABC News report in 1999!

NEVER FORGET! Today 15th Anniversary of First WTC Attack

Fifteen years ago today, six Americans were killed and over 1,042 were injured in al-Queda's first attack on American soil, at the World Trade Center in New York City.

It was a day when America should have woken up and realized that, after the then recent fall of the Soviet Empire we were facing a new enemy.

However, we were cautioned against "overreaction" by then President Bill Clinton, who had only been in office over a month. To show how little Clinton cared about the attack, he never bothered to visit the site after the bombing.

Dick Morris wrote in a 2006 article in The Hill:

"In his pre-9/11 memoirs, George Stephanopoulos confirms that he and others on the staff saw it as a “failed bombing” and noted that it was far from topic A at the White House. Rather than the full-court press that the first terror attack on American soil deserved, Clinton let the investigation be handled by the FBI on location in New York without making it the national emergency it actually was.

In my frequent phone and personal conversations with both Clintons in 1993, there was never a mention, not one, of the World Trade Center attack. It was never a subject of presidential focus."

Maybe if Clinton had been more focused and treated Islamic terrorism as the threat it was, the World Trade Center might still be standing today and 3,000 precious souls might still be with their families. Instead, that military loather cut the military and was reluctant to fight any real war against Islamic terror (except lobbing a few missiles here and there) out of fear of "offending" cultural "sensitivities" and all that other PC liberal crap.

Besides, it was more important two days later, on February 28, 1993, to try and raid a compound outside Waco, Texas and go after some wacko cult leader on gun violations, instead of just waiting for the nut to leave his hideout and nab him then. That took the threat of Islamofascism and their first attack on America off the top of the headlines for a few days.

Debbie Schlussel eloquently stated today:

Sen DeMint Promises To Keep Up Fight For Marines, While Democrats Continue Fight Against Troops & Victory

While the "We Don't Support The Troops, But Don't Question Our Patriotism" Democrats block DeMint's "Semper Fi" act, they are also up their usual antics, attempting to hand defeat to our troops in Iraq.

"The Senate was expected to vote Tuesday on a proposal to order troop withdrawals to begin within 120 days. With that legislation's failure almost assured and lacking a veto-proof majority in Congress even if such a proposal passed, Democrats are talking about whether to shift their strategy. Instead of repeating losing votes on legislation tying money to troop withdrawals, many party members want to focus more on the policy issues surrounding Iraq, including the preparedness of U.S. troops and reining in private contractors.

...Another desire by many Democrats is to tie the ailing economy to the war. A coalition of anti-war groups said this week that it plans to spend more than $20 million this year to convince voters that the Republican party's support for the war is bad for their wallets.

Still, other Democrats, including Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis., say they want to pursue more votes to end funding for the war. Feingold sponsored Tuesday's measure.

According to aides, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., who co-sponsored Feingold's proposal, agreed to stage Tuesday's vote in exchange for Feingold's earlier support of a defense policy bill. The measure is expected to fall short of the 60 votes needed to pass."

So, Dr Evil Harry Reid is up to his antics again of handing victory to the terrorists. Lets face it, Democrats have proven they don't give a damn about our troops or the security of this nation from the threat of Islamofascism.

There's more good news! Cat Moy writes over at Melanie Morgan's website that California State Assemblyman Guy Houston (another patriot) has introduced legislation to strip transportation funds from Berkeley.

Sacramento) – Assemblyman Guy Houston (R-San Ramon) has introduced legislation to suspend $3.3 million in transportation funding to the city of Berkeley. Assembly Bill 2615 is a response to the actions taken by the Berkeley City Council on January 29th which denounced the presence of the U.S. Marine Corps recruiting office in the city of Berkeley, and grants public resources to protesters.

“Berkeley’s City Council has granted anti-military activists a public resource to assist in barricading the Marine recruitment office,” said Houston. “The public right of way has been violated and our state must not stand idly by.”

Cat writes: "Well, we warned you Berkeley. The City Council must make a formal apology and rescind its other anti-military resolutions encouraging cretins to attack Marines, or face a growing backlash."

World Can't Wait Commie Activists Arrested in Berkeley--One Was SFSU 9/11/07 Terrorist With An Unusual Last Name

There was another protest in Berkeley by the terrorist-sympathizing Revolutionary Communist Party front group World Can't Wait, in which two of the members were arrested for violating noise restrictions by using a bullhorn.

In the anti-military town of Berkeley, it's OK to use bullhorns in front of the Marine Recruiting Station. Outside of that, it's against the law.

One of those arrested was Rafael Schiller, 26, of Berkeley. The other person arrested refused to give his name to police (Comrade X?).

Interestingly, a poster on FreeRepublic.com found a link to an interview with Schiller, who identifies himself as Rafael Schiller-Laden.

From the website Perspectives with Julie Rufo (daughter of writer Charles Lam Markmann, author of "The Noblest Cry," a history of the ACLU) comes the above photo and profile of Mr Schiller, Schiller-Laden, or whatever the hell he calls himself (note the orange ribbon-his solidarity with his imprisoned al-Queda heroes).

So, thanks to the ACLU friendly Ms. Ruffo, we've identified one of the WCW scum who terrorized that SFSU 9/11 Memorial last fall. Of course, in true Leftist BDS fashion, Ms. Ruffo forgot to mention that said SFSU rally was sponsored by both the College Democrats and College Republicans. It was not meant to "justify" an "endless war" it was meant to show respect to the 3,000 Americans killed by Mr. Schiller-Laden's 19 heroes from al-Queda.

As far as Mr. Laden's claim of becoming "politically active in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina," I'm highly suspect. I found a link of Student Awards from the June 2004 UC Santa Cruz Currents Online, which lists in the Division of Humanities the following essay.

I don't mean to imply anything, but my suspicions are aroused. What is with the "Laden" on his last name? Is it a birth name? If so, why did he give his name as "Rafael Schiller" to the Berzerkely Police? Or, did he add the "Laden" to his last name to show solidarity with a certain Islamofascist terrorist?

Questions, Questions. But regardless of the source of his last name, one thing is for certain--Mr. Schiller(Laden) hates America, its military and sympathizes with imprisoned al-Queda terrorists.

“The Actual Recruiters--We’re Not Prepared To Apologize To Them. We Don’t Want Them Here.”

Those are the words of Berkeley Mayor Tom "Bull Connor" Bates, when interviewed by San Francisco's NBC Channel 11 News (from Michelle Malkin's site).

The mayor's words were echoed by Councilmembers Max Anderson and Dona Spring at the February 12th City Council meeting, who refused to apologize for calling the Marines "unwelcome intruders." Anderson and Bates must have a competition going on between them to see who hates the military the most. It depends on who has the bigger chip on their shoulder. Anderson, you see, was drummed out of the Marine Corps, so he already has a resentment he's let fester. As a result, he spends his meaningless life trashing the men and women of the Marine Corps whom he isn't worthy to spit shine their boots. God only knows what happened during Bates' Army stint that teed him off and turned him into an military hater.

The good news is that the heat is going to get turned up on these traitors in Berkeley. Our friends at Move America Forward have put together a great advertisement illustrating the continuing insult towards our Marines by the Berkeley City Council.



This is far from over. The Berkeley City Council needs to not only apologize to the Marines, they must end their endorsement of the law breaking activities of Code Pinko and the Revolutionary Communist Party front group World Can't Wait.

Code Pinko Gets Chilly Reception At Maryland Vagina Award Ceremony

A production of the "play" The Vagina Monolagues in Carroll County, Maryland was used by radical anti-American women's group Women In Black to present the "Vagina Warrior" award to Code Pinkos Susie "Medea" Benjamin, Jodie "Bundler for Obama" Evans and Gael Murphy.

To make matters worse, the "honor" and play was used as a fundraiser for a good cause, a rape crisis clinic in Carroll County.

Patriots from FreeRepublic.com and Gathering of Eagles were there to welcome the Pinkos. They even took up a good sized donation for the rape crisis clinic. One of the GOE folks decided to buy a ticket and film the festivities. Needless to say, the Pinkos didn't go over well with the crowd.

While there was applause, it appears more "polite" than anything else, no rapid applause or shouts (minus from other Pinkos). Hell, I've heard "golf claps" which were more enthusiastic than what the Pinkos received. According to one of the FReepers, some people left the event before it was over. Some were even crying.

There's a long intro then Medea and her band of skanks hit the stage to receive their Vagina award. One of the Pinkos onstage was Desiree Anita Ali-Fairooz, that ghoolish creature who attacked Condolezza Rice last October before appearing at a Congressional hearing.

If you look around the audience, most people are just sitting still as the Skank Brigade walks around the theatre in some form of 1960's hippie acid dance, followed by a slideshow of the Pinko's treasonous activities across America.

Treasonous Code Pinkos Now Targeting Recruiters Nationwide

Like a dark plague, anti-military fervor is spreading from the Rectum of America (Berkeley, CA) to the rest of the country.

Last week, the Code Pinkos targeted a Washington DC Recruiting Center on Valentines Day. This is the same recruiting station which was targeted soon after by a group of anarchists called "Funk the War." As Michelle Malkin noted a post from DC Indymedia (the communist/anarchist meetup zone on the web) these unwashed scum went in and trashed government property.

But the Skanky Pinkos weren't done in the DC area. The next day (Feb. 15th) they targeted a recruiting center in Silver Spring, MD, along with their fellow Islamoterrorist sympathizers from the (Revolutionary Communist Party front group) World Can't Wait. Patriots from FreeRepublic.com were there to counterprotest and took these photos of these Leftists who claim they "only support the troops but not the war."

The Pinkos showed up in a flag draped coffin (showing their lack of class) and WCW people dressed like the imprisoned al-Queda they love so much. But I forgot, we're not supposed to question their patriotism.

This gray-haired hippie above showed up wearing a keffiyeh, a symbol of Palestinian nationalism and trademark of dead PLO terrorist Yasser Arafat.

Pinko desperately "wants Somebody to Love." Don't think a frog would even wanna kiss her!

It appears the Pinkos are only getting started, MM also notes also on her blog that they are planning a protest outside a Navy Recruiting Station in the Peoples Republic of Santa Monica, CA.

It's one thing to (misguidedly) protest a war with these extremist Communist front groups. It's another to impede recruitment of adult men and women who are sworn to protect me, you and our families from the al-Queda Islamofascist terrorists supported by Code Pinko and WCW. In fact, as mentioned earlier here, it's against the law (see Espionage Act).

Notice these events all happen in Leftist enclaves (Berkeley, Santa Monica, DC, Silver Spring) and all on weekdays. While you and I are working jobs to provide for our families, these scum are a fifth-column working for al-Queda as the Enemy Within.

The time has come for the Justice Department to take legal action against these saboteurs. Investigations need to be held to find out the funding sources for Code Pinko and WCW. Are there foreign funds from hostile nations and groups? These pink ladies are raking up lots of frequent flyer miles, so it's fair to find out who is paying for them. The nation's law enforcement arm needs to put a stop to this and if the AlQueda Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) lawyers get their panties in a knot about it--knock 'em on their pansy asses!

America sees through your masquerade, Code Pinkos. You don't support the troops, you support al-Queda. You made that perfectly clear whose side you're really on in Berkeley (see photo below).

CAIR Continues Their Jihad Against Opponents--Now It's LGF

Last fall, it was Michael "Weiner" Savage. Now, today, the Council for America's Islamic Revolution (CAIR) is targeting one of this blog's favorite sites, Little Green Footballs, as an "anti-Muslim Internet hate site."

Why? Because a couple of morons posted "threatening" comments (which were deleted quicker than posts on liberal sites).

I'm not going to defend the morons who posted the deleted items but I'm going to take a stand here and extend support to my blogging (and guitar playing) brother-in-arms Charles Johnson. This is not about his blog, my blog, anyone's radio show or anything like that. This is an attempt by an overhyped pressure group funded by foreign money to silence critics of radical Islam under the guise of the "hate sites," or "hate radio" smear.

May I remind you of who CAIR really is, besides being unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land Foundation case. See Daniel Pipes and Sharon Chadha's article, "CAIR: Islamists Fooling the Establishment." Here's a synopsis.

"In 1993, before CAIR existed, Ibrahim Hooper told a reporter: 'I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.'"

Also, CAIR refuses to denounce Islamofascist terrorist organizations. Here's a YouTube clip below from a 2006 rally in Columbus, OH where a CAIR spokesmouth refuses to call Hezbollah a terrorist group. He also states people fail to see the Hezbo's humanitarian side.

May I remind CAIR that this is the United States of America. We are governed by (and I'm proud to say!) a Constitution which gives people freedom of speech. We are not governed by Islamic Law. We have religious freedom, but were are not governed by one religion or a state religion. Everytime you open your mouths and attempt to silence another critic, you only prove how much you don't CAIR about free speech or freedom.

Michelle Obama Hasn't Been Proud Of America: What Else Are We To Expect From Democrats?

Michelle Obama, wife of Barack Hussein Osama-Obama, said yesterday:

“for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my
country. And not just because Barack has done well, but because I
think people are hungry for change. I have been desperate to see our country
moving in that direction.”

Let's see, Civil Rights Act of 1964, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the destruction of the Soviet Union and Communist dominiation of Eastern Europe, the liberation of Afghanistan and Iraq from terrorist regimes. I know I'm leaving a lot out, and all these event's happened in her lifetime.

It's predictable. Anytime I hear someone bash our military, spout class warfare or express doubts or shame in America I'm certain they are (and most everytime, I'm proven right) liberal Democrats. Let's face it, Democrats have nothing but hate in their hearts for the greatness of America and contempt for you and I, the people who make it work. Which is why 10 times out of 10, I'll vote for the worst Republican over any Democrat.

And kudos to Cindy McCain for really socking it to Michelle.

If Mrs. Obama has no pride in the nation which her husband aspires to be the leader, then neither of them are fit to be the First Family. May I suggest she and Barry go move to someplace they'd be proud of, like Cuba.

Here's A Way For Bay Area Patriots To Punish Berkeley...

Don't buy a new or used car there.

Over at FreeRepublic.com, folks are organizing an economic boycott of Berkeley. One of the posters noted the following useful information:

"The three largest sources of tax revenue for the city of Berkeley are its auto dealerships: Toyota of Berkeley, Berkeley Honda, and McKevitt Volvo / Nissan."

So, if you want to buy a new Toyota, Honda, Volvo (yes, even conservatives drive Volvos! My family and I bought a used one recently. Great car!) Nissan or a used car, perhaps you can consider not doing business with these three dealers in Berkeley. From my recollection of 11 years in the Bay Area, there's the Richmond Auto Mall, Toyota Marin, Novato Toyota, Marin Honda in Corte Madera. Don't forget the Auto Mall (with Toyota, Honda & Nissan dealerships) in Petaluma. All are alternatives to pumping more tax dollars into the Code Pinko terrorist friendly City of Berkeley.

So first, let's just take a step back and consider why meeting the threat posed by Saddam Hussein is important to our security in the new era we are entering.

This is a time of tremendous promise for America. The superpower confrontation has ended; on every continent democracy is securing for more and more people the basic freedoms we Americans have come to take for granted. Bit by bit the information age is chipping away at the barriers economic, political and social that once kept people locked in and freedom and prosperity locked out.

But for all our promise, all our opportunity, people in this room know very well that this is not a time free from peril, especially as a result of reckless acts of outlaw nations and an unholy axis of terrorists, drug traffickers and organized international criminals.

We have to defend our future from these predators of the 21st century. They feed on the free flow of information and technology. They actually take advantage of the freer movement of people, information and ideas.

And they will be all the more lethal if we allow them to build arsenals of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them. We simply cannot allow that to happen.

There is no more clear example of this threat than Saddam Hussein's Iraq. His regime threatens the safety of his people, the stability of his region and the security of all the rest of us.

...Remember, as a condition of the cease-fire after the Gulf War, the United Nations demanded not the United States the United Nations demanded, and Saddam Hussein agreed to declare within 15 days this is way back in 1991 within 15 days his nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and the missiles to deliver them, to make a total declaration. That's what he promised to do.

The United Nations set up a special commission of highly trained international experts called UNSCOM, to make sure that Iraq made good on that commitment. We had every good reason to insist that Iraq disarm. Saddam had built up a terrible arsenal, and he had used it not once, but many times, in a decade-long war with Iran, he used chemical weapons, against combatants, against civilians, against a foreign adversary, and even against his own people.

...Iraq repeatedly made false declarations about the weapons that it had left in its possession after the Gulf War. When UNSCOM would then uncover evidence that gave lie to those declarations, Iraq would simply amend the reports.

For example, Iraq revised its nuclear declarations four times within just 14 months and it has submitted six different biological warfare declarations, each of which has been rejected by UNSCOM.

In 1995, Hussein Kamal, Saddam's son-in-law, and the chief organizer of Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program, defected to Jordan. He revealed that Iraq was continuing to conceal weapons and missiles and the capacity to build many more.

Then and only then did Iraq admit to developing numbers of weapons in significant quantities and weapon stocks. Previously, it had vehemently denied the very thing it just simply admitted once Saddam Hussein's son-in-law defected to Jordan and told the truth. Now listen to this, what did it admit?

It admitted, among other things, an offensive biological warfare capability notably 5,000 gallons of botulinum, which causes botulism; 2,000 gallons of anthrax; 25 biological-filled Scud warheads; and 157 aerial bombs.

And I might say UNSCOM inspectors believe that Iraq has actually greatly understated its production.

As if we needed further confirmation, you all know what happened to his son-in-law when he made the untimely decision to go back to Iraq.

...Now, let's imagine the future. What if he fails to comply, and we fail to act, or we take some ambiguous third route which gives him yet more opportunities to develop this program of weapons of mass destruction and continue to press for the release of the sanctions and continue to ignore the solemn commitments that he made?

Well, he will conclude that the international community has lost its will. He will then conclude that he can go right on and do more to rebuild an arsenal of devastating destruction.

And some day, some way, I guarantee you, he'll use the arsenal. And I think every one of you who's really worked on this for any length of time believes that, too."

Before any trolling libs write comments on this post that "Bush lied, Soldiers Died," let me stop you. President Bush did not utter these words.

Pelosi's Daughter's Wedding More Important Than Our Security

While bug-eyed Nancy Pelosi recessed Congress early to attend to more pressing matters--namely her daughter's wedding, she refused to allow the House to attend to one pressing matter of business. That is, extension of the Protect America Act of surveilance reform, which allows intelligence agencies to listen in on phone conversations with possible terror suspects.

But while Americans lose an asset in the fight on the War on Terror, Democrats have been busy protecting the people who plot to kill us. A couple of days ago, they voted to ban waterboarding. Don't forget how Democrats in the Senate blocked the Semper Fi Act from coming to the floor. Now, after midnight tonight, Osama and the boys don't have to worry about their terror plots being listened in on, thanks to the Democrats.

UPDATE 2/13/08 9:00 a.m. EST: The City of Berkeley decided not to send the original letter they approved two weeks ago, instead it's more of the oxymoronic "We support the troops but not the mission" bullcrap."

"After a marathon session that stretched into early Wednesday, the council decided against sending the letter, saying it recognizes recruiters' right to be in Berkeley. The council members say they still strongly oppose the war and the recruitment of young people, but "deeply respect and support" the men and women of the armed forces."

Of course, no apology from "Bull Connor" Bates or the Code Pinko friendly City Council towards the Marines. Medusa Benjamin and her terrorist supporters are still threatening to run the Marines out of town.

Melanie Morgan writes about action Move America Forward plans to take against the City for their selective police protection.

Outrageous behavior today by the "government officials" police in Berkeley CA, as Code Pinkos and other anti-American, anti-military protesters were allowed to go over and assualt the patriots assembled to support the Marine Recruiting Station.

...and the police did NOTHING to separate the groups.

"Code Pink was permitted for across the street. The two sides were to stay separated, according to rules laid down by the city. But the city has a history of giving Code Pink special preference. The City Council gave free parking permits and a free noise permit to the radical group, which has helped fund terrorist families in Iraq with a $600,000 gift.

MAF Exeutive Director Catherine Moy attempted to get help from the Berkeley police as the mayhem unfolded, but an officer hung up on Moy. Moy asked the California Highway Patrol to help in the emergency, but the CHP refused.

“I have never in my life experienced such inaction in the face of an emergency, “Moy said. “I will ask the Federal Government to investigate, as well as the State Attorney General. It is one thing to give free parking places to the City Council’s special interest anti-war groups, it is another to take sides and endanger the lives of others.”

Dollard also found out that nearby Berkeley High School allowed students to cut class and join the protest....on the side of Code Pinko and the other Communist front groups (World Can't Wait). ProtestShooter noted the close proximity from BHS to the protest site in the photo below.

Someone at FreeRepublic also wrote of the high school hookies:

"I just talked to my wife and she said there is a school next to the Pro Marine side and a group of kids came out and burned a U.S. flag and was cheered by the pinko’s. The police are doing nothing to control the pinko’s and it is a little unnerving to some of our patriots."

Obviously, these cops have proven to be just as hostile as Melanie Morgan posted last night about the similarly hostile reception MAF received from reps of the police department. This has gone on all week, as people were assaulted outside the recruiting station (from LGF). Make no mistake, this selective enforcement of the law rots from the head up. I wouldn't doubt that these cops were told to stand down on orders from the Code Pinko friendly mayor, Tom Bates.

In fact, I have a new nickname for Tom Bates, "Bull Connor" Bates. His bigotry for our Marines and abuse of power is similar to a 1960's redneck segregationist governor in the Deep South (Bates' neck by contrast is pink with a good dose of "Red," if you get my drift).

We shall see whether or not "Bull Connor" Bates will allow the patriots to speak tonight on behalf of the Marines or if he will supress their free speech like the fascist he's shown himself to be in 2002, when he stole newspapers which endorsed his opponent from their stands.

Speaking of not supporting the troops, Dr. Evil, Harry "The War is Lost" Reid is back. Michelle Malkin notes that Reid used a rare tactic to stall Senate action on patriot Sen. Jim DeMint's "Semper Fi Act." The act would strip Federal earmark from the treasonous town. Reid & the DemocRATS clearly don't want to be on record as opposing or supporting the Marines.

Hussein-Obama Wins VA Primary, GOP Race Close

9:30 p.m. EST - Polls just closed in Maryland, hours extended due to the weather out here (icy roads). That's not the right thing to do. Fox News calls MD for Hussein-Obama. Could the era of Clinton be over? Also wins DC.

The Associated Press made its call based on surveys of voters as they left the polls."

Primaries were held here in VA, also in D.C. and in Maryland. No word yet on turnout, as there was freezing rain today on the roads.

R.I.P. Tom Lantos

Condolences to the family and friends of Bay Area Congressman Tom Lantos, who died today at Bethesda Naval Hospital at the age of 80.

Though I could disagree with him in many areas, he was an example of the heights anyone could rise to in America. He saw the worst of what humanity had to offer (he was a Holocaust survivor), came to this nation with nothing and made something of himself, including rising to a position of leadership in our government.

God Bless you Congressman. May you rest in peace.

Berkeley Mayor Joins Code Pinkos In Picket At Marine Recruiting Station

On one hand, the Mayor of Commietown (Berkeley) Tom Bates wants to apologize for the harsh language approved by him and the City Council against the Marines.

However, Bates still finds time to show up and picket with the anti-American, anti-military, pro-terrorist insurgency Code Pinkos outside the Marine Recruiting Station, as Melanie Morgan has the following photo on her website. The Code Pinkos are even gushing about it.

Spare us your phony apology and reminder of your service in the U.S. Army, "Master" Bates! May I remind you even Benedict Arnold served in the US Army and was considered a war hero before he became a traitor to this nation. You're running scared because the cat is out of the bag. You and the City Council have shown yourselves to be anti-military and anti-American. The difference between today and the decade you and your hippie brethren never left (the 1960's) is there is a new media who will call you on your bulls**t. We will not let you get away with the same demeaning antics which you hippies pulled on those who served and returned from Vietnam.

"If you want to get a seat at Tuesday night's Berkeley City Council meeting, you better start lining up now. And you might want to bring earplugs. And a flak jacket.

Hundreds of protesters from across the country and the political spectrum are expected to descend on City Hall with bullhorns, drums, banners and plenty of vitriol in anticipation of the City Council's debate over the Marines' recruiting station in town.

...On Monday, Councilwomen Betty Olds and Laurie Capitelli introduced an item for this week's meeting, asking the city to retract its statements about the Marines and clarify that the city is against the war, not against the armed forces.

"We're starting to get people coming in from all over the U.S.," said Catherine Moy, executive director of Move America Forward, one of several pro-military groups planning an all-day protest Tuesday at Maudelle Shirek City Hall. Sights From CPAC Today--Newt, Tony Snow Among Speakers; Romney Wins Straw Poll By One Point Over McCain

I got in the door not long ago from attending CPAC's final day in Washington D.C. It was said to be the largest CPAC in the history of the conference. I have to look over my notes and add more later, but here are some photos of what happened today.


Anti-Juan McCain sentiment was to be found in the lobby and in other areas of the conference.

Near the end of the evening, it was announced that Mitt Romney won the 2008 straw poll by one point over Juan McCain 35% to 34%. Of the poll, 1,558 of registered attendees participated and 76% of the surveys in the straw poll were answered after Romney dropped out of the race on Thursday. McCain still has a long way to go in getting the base to vote for him, as a total of 31% said they would either vote for someone else or will not vote at all (Complete straw poll results here).

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich makes his way through the crowd to give his afternoon speech, receiving a thunderous ovation.
Many in attendance wished Newt would have been speaking to CPAC as the Republican nominee. Notable quote from his speech, "I'd rather, as a citizen, have a President McCain who we fight with 20 percent of the time than a President Clinton or President Obama who we fight with 90 percent of the time." The former speaker notied that 14.6 million Democrats voted on Super Tuesday, compared to 8.3 million Republicans. That, he said, is a "warning of a catostrophic election."

The focus of his speech was how the electorate responds to concrete ideas and real change. He noted that in the 1994 election, there were an additional 9 million voters participating because they were attracted to the ideas in the Contract With America. The Republican majority kept control of Congress in 1996, the first time in 68 years because, as Newt said, they kept their word on the Contract and voluntarily committed themselves to balancing the budget, even thought the proposed constitutional amendment failed in the Senate by one vote. Newt also noted how ideas such as the defense of America and her allies, the right to defeat our enemies, English as a national language and a simpler tax code, including a flat tax are "tri-partisan ideas" which resonate with a majority of Republicans, Democrats and Independents.

"I come here to fire you up," said former White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, who gave an energetic final speech about conservatism. He told the crowd "remember the Eleventh Commandment, no candidate is perfect, no party is perfect." As an alternative to those dissapointed over Juan McCain, Snow suggested, "why don't we get together and revive and revitilize the revolution?" At the same time, Snow said conservatives should quit using Ronald Reagan as a "fall back or a museum piece" and follow his example of looking towards the future.

Snow mentioned his former boss, President Bush and how the world is a better place because he was "willing to take the hits" when the troop surge was announced. He noted the comments of an Iraqi citizen to a soldier, Mark Daly, "I know the difference between you and al-Queda. Al-Queda is paid to take a life, you get paid to save a life."

The former White House Press secretary also took a great stab at the cliched word "change" as used in the Democrat campaigns of Hillary Rotten Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama.

"When Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama describe change, they describe what will be left in your pocket, along with some lint," he said.

Toledo Mayor Says "Marines Frighten People," Orders Them Out

The liberal's war against the United States Marines continues, this time in Toledo, Ohio where DEMOCRAT Mayor Carty Finkbeiner ordered the Marines who were part of urban patrol exercises out of town.

The reason? Brian Schwartz, spokesman for Finkbeiner said, "The mayor asked them to leave because they frighten people. He did not want them practicing and drilling in a highly visible area."

Who is this jerk mayor more frightened of, the US Marines or al-Queda? Then again, what else should we expect from a party (Democrats) who seek ways to cut the military budget, steal their free speech, disenfranchises their votes, calls them "cold blooded murderers" and other forms of hateful slander?

This isn't the first time the mayor has been involved in controversy, Michelle Malkin noted a Wikipedia entry showing other idiocies Finkbeiner has been involved in, including calling an African-American fire chief "King Kong" at a staff meeting, showing the double standard of how Democrats get a free pass on racist speech.

Mayor Finkbeiner, you owe these Marines an apology.

Was Slow Posting This Past Week, Headed To CPAC Tomorrow

I haven't been as active posting this past week. Not for lack of news (there's been plenty of it), but due to the fact I just started a new career despite the MSM hype of "recession." There's still plenty of opportunity in this country! If I was a liberal, I suppose I could have screamed for the government to bail me out, since I lost my previous job due to the collapse of the housing market.

I'm going to CPAC tomorrow and will report back on the going's on there. Missed the fireworks yesterday after Romney (unfortunately) decided to drop out and Juan McCain spoke. Nice try, Juan, but just showing up at CPAC isn't enough to make me want to vote for you!

Veterans Respond To Berkeley City Council in Video

Below is a must see video put together by Sen. Jim DeMint regarding the treason in Berkeley CA and the response of Veterans who are outraged by the hatred shown the Marines and the military.



In the video, there are clips of the city council meeting where one obnoxious jerk on the city council called the Marines the President's killers who "bombard our young people and the nation with propaganda: 'The Few, The Proud.'"

Mayor Tom Bates said "I've been working with Code Pink and I believe in their cause and I believe what they're doing is the right thing. They are bringing maximum pressure to bear on just the whole question of the Marines and being in Berkeley. They don't belong here."

If Bates believes in Code Pinko's cause, then that mean he believes in giving money ($600,000 worth) to the families of terrorists in Fallujah, Iraq while our military was fighting there. Bates must also believe, as his friends in Code Pinko stated in 2005, that the terrorist insurgency in Iraq was "legitimate and justified." The mayor must also agree with the tactic of harassing wounded veterans and their families outside Walter Reed Hospital with signs reading "Maimed for a Lie" and "Enlist here to die for Halliburton."

That means Berkeley Mayor Tom Bates is siding with those who support Islamofascist terror against America. That makes him a traitor. He doesn't even have the decency to return the phone call from Gold Star Mother Debbie Lee. How dare you ignore a Gold Star Mother, Mister Mayor!

Naturally, no counterpoint in defense of the Marines was given at the meeting. Free speech in Berkeley (aka Commietown) must only apply to ugly, smelly hippies who hate America. What's next? Will patriotism and flying the American flag be banned?

Troop Haters In Berkeley Feeling The Heat--Pro Troop Rally Scheduled Feb. 12

What a surprise to the Lefties in "Commietown" (aka Berkeley, CA), it isn't the 1960's anymore. Now two city council members are proposing a withdrawal of the letter to the Marines calling them unwelcome (from SFGate, via Michelle Malkin's blog).

"A week after blasting the Marines as “unwelcome intruders” in Berkeley, two City Council members want the city to back off the declaration that ignited the wrath of the nation’s right wing and inspired a Republican senator to try to sever Berkeley’s federal funding.

Council members Betty Olds and Laurie Capitelli on Monday proposed that Berkeley rescind its letter to the U.S. Marine Corps that stated that the downtown Berkeley recruiting center 'is not welcome in our city,' and publicly declare that Berkeley is against the war but supports the troops."

Ah yes, the old tired "we support the troops but not the war" mantra. Right! And I'm really a Patriots fan but rooted for the Giants to win the Super Bowl instead. As usual, the far Left San Francisco Comicle lumps troop supporters as "the nation's right wing." Shows how much Phil Bronstein turned a once decent newspaper into a Lefty rag most people wouldn't line a feline litter box with.

Some of the Berkeley traitors on the City Council aren't changing their stripes, like Dona Spring.

“I still oppose the Marines recruiting in Berkeley because it’s one way of protesting this wasteful war,” she said. “Our military policy is a shambles. But we’re not in opposition to the Marines; we oppose the policy that directs the Marines.”

Ms. Spring claims she doesn't oppose the Marines. Bullcrap! Like most aging hippies who never grew up, Spring was a part of Berkeley's anti-American protests during the 1970s. Spring's (as well as her comrades) so called "support" for the Marines is phony. They simply showed themselves for who they are. From the Vietnam War (where "..you go into downtown Berkeley and see a Viet Cong flag waving and then buildings with the words "Go Ho Chi Min" written on them.") to 2001 (when fire trucks were asked to remove the American flag and the traitors on the city council condemned the War on Terror) Berkeley CA has been outright cheerleaders for America's enemies who sugarcoat their treason as "peace and justice."

Barbara Boxer Condemns Sen. DeMint Instead Of Troop Haters In Berkeley

California's embarrassment in the Senate, Barbara Boxer, attacked fellow Senator Jim DeMint for suggesting that Berkeley CA should have federal funds stripped from the town, according to Mercury News.com.

"A spokeswoman for Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., called DeMint's comments 'just plain wrong.'

'Sen. DeMint may not like what the Berkeley City Council has to say, but to punish the children, police, first responders and the university for something they had nothing to do with is just plain wrong,' said Natalie Ravitz, the spokeswoman."

Shame on you, Barbara Boxer, for refusing to condemn the Berkeley City Council's treasonous attack on US Marine Recruiters! Once again, you've shown your constituents as well as the nation how much you don't support the troops.

Anti-American protestors belonging to Communist front groups (Code Pinko & World Can't Wait), emboldened by the treasonous acts of the Berkeley City Council, chained themselves to the doors of the Marine Recruiting Station on Shattuck Ave. in order to block the Marines from doing business.

It took 7 1/2 hours until the police finally broke the chains and made arrests. Why did it take so long for the police to stop this obstruction of a federal facility from doing business?

While I actively support the efforts of Sen. Jim DeMint and others who are looking into cutting federal funds from this blight on the American landscape, there are further measures which should be looked at, including an investigation into what federal laws are being broken by the City Council.

For starters, Sections 3 & 4 of The Espionage Act of 1917 states:

"Whoever, when the United States is at war, shall willfully make or convey false reports or false statements with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the military or naval forces of the United States or to promote the success of its enemies and whoever when the United States is at war, shall willfully cause or attempt to cause insubordination, disloyalty, mutiny, refusal of duty, in the military or naval forces of the United States, or shall willfully obstruct the recruiting or enlistment service of the United States, to the injury of the service or of the United States, shall be punished by a fine of not more than $10,000 or imprisonment for not more than twenty years, or both.

Section 4 - If two or more persons conspire to violate the provisions of section two or three of this title, and one or more of such persons does any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each of the parties to such conspiracy shall be punished as in said sections provided in the case of the doing of the act the accomplishment of which is the object of such conspiracy."

From reading these sections, it appears that Mayor Tom Bates, the Berkeley City Council and Code Pinko are breaking federal law by willfully engaging and conspiring in the sabotage of military recruitment during a time of war. As a result, they should be investigated by the Federal Government, indicted and (if found guilty) punished to the fullest extent of the law.

And shame on Phil Bronstein and his pathetic rag, the San Francisco Comicle for lashing out at the "right wing blogosphere going ballistic." The defense of this nation and respect for the military should not be a right/left issue. Keep in mind that the 9/11 terrorists did not discriminate who they killed based on political party, ideology, race, gender or religion.

Unfortunately, the saying "we're all in this together" has been lost on Left, the Democrat Party and the liberal MSM since 9/11. They've been too busy dividing the country because of their unresolved anger over the 2000 Presidential election.

The anarchy in Berkeley needs to stop and these saboteurs need to be made examples of.

Petition Denouncing Berkeley CA Attack On Marines

There's a petition up at Move America Forward (click and sign it here) denouncing the Communist City Council of Berkeley's attack on the Marine Corps. The petitions will be delivered by Melanie Morgan and MAF at the next scheduled city council meeting.
