Terror Suspects Living In Oklahoma City?

This is sobering, considering the events of the day in India and how New York Subway systems are on alert for terrorist threats by al-Queda.

FOX 25 KOKH TV in Oklahoma City has a report (video here) of possible terror suspects in the Oklahoma City area. One, a Middle Eastern individual, left the Oklahoma City house he was living at with unopened mail, children's toys and other items behind. This came after the person was eavesdropped on by federal agents.

Also, this past July, a car was stopped that contained 25 pounds of uncut Afghanistan heroin, according to the KOKH news report and this story from OKGazette.com. Many, like David Cid of the Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism, believe the heroin could be sold to fund terror operations.

Cid told the Gazette since money for Islamic terrorist groups gained through charity front groups has dried up, many are now depending on traditional criminal activity to raise cash. Drug trafficking would provide such money.

Appearing in the KOKH Channel 25 news report, Cid, a former FBI Agent, also said, "If you talk to police chiefs, what keeps them up at night is suicide bombers." He also believes roadside explosives similar to those used in Iraq could be used here in America by terrorists, as well as bombings of several soft targets at once.
"In its death throws, al Queda will become barbarously violent I believe, because that’s the way the believe they will win. They see us a society adverse to casualties They don’t believe we have the moral fiber and the grit to fight, and so they think killing us in large numbers will lead to our capitulation," Cid told KOKH.

After what we've seen today, make no mistake, terrorism is still a real threat to us. It is more than just capturing one person. It is an entire radical ideology which must be defeated and cannot be appeased.
