The Obama Administration: A Return to a September 10, 2001 America

Unless you had any doubt, all signs show that the coming administration of Barack Hussein Obama will be a return to America circa September 10, 2001; when the real threat of Islamofascist terrorism was not taken seriously and treated as a law enforcement measure, instead of seen as a act of war against America.

Jamie Gorelick is being touted as a possibility to serve as Secretary of State in an Obama Administration. Gorelick served on the 9/11 Commission and was a deputy under Janet Reno, who instituted the "wall of separation" between the FBI and the CIA, where information on possible terrorist activities could not be shared.

Gorelick also served as vice chairperson of Fannie Mae from 1997 to 2003 and was the recipient of various sweetheart deals while the agency went broke recently. Obama was the second leading recipient of FannieMae/FreddieMac campaign money, so I'm sure Gorelick's consideration for Secretary of State is an example of special interest chits being called in.

In another move, Obama is planning to move terrorist suspects at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba to the US for trials, as opposed to military tribunals. This is a horrific move that will threaten progress on the War on Terror and could jeopardize vital secrets. What is not to prevent names of military members or secrets to be leaked during a court trial not just to the media, but to defense attorneys who may pass this on to al-Queda spies?

So that's "change," putting the interest of the terrorists ahead of the safety of Americans, as well as possibly setting the atmosphere for future al-Queda attacks against Americans?

For all the talk of "Remember 9/11," I'm afraid too many of our fellow citizens have forgotten.
