"SAN FRANCISCO - The 49ers were trailing deep into the fourth quarter en route to another frustrating loss at Candlestick Park. Fans were restless.
Just then, 57-year-old Stacy Samuels of Fairfax walked down an aisle, carrying a banjo, a smile and a tune. He sported a scraggly beard and ponytail, a multicolored beanie cap and a sweat-soaked gold Super Niner shirt beneath a red cape. This was the only super hero 49ers' fans had seen all day. He started pickin' and they started grinnin'."
Upon seeing the photo, I thought the man looked awfully familiar. Then I remembered photos I took while infiltrating the March 17th anti-American, surrender to the terrorists rally in San Rafael.
Besides being a "super 49ers fan," Stacy Samuels appears to be a friend to Moonbat terrorist appeasers in Marin County, California.

As I write in Northern Virginia, it's cool and wet. While the West Coast is finishing dinner, I'm about to head to bed.
Thanks to all who've e-mailed or posted comments with their best wishes. In the next few days, I'll post some comments on our cross-country trip.
Our thoughts the last couple of days has been with those in Southern California who've been affected due to the wildfires. As any normal person would be, my first thoughts were empathy with those who've lost homes and their labors. I hope soon that the weather will change and these fires can be brought under control.
Unfortunately, one cannot say the same for certain Democrats, namely Barbara Boxer or "Dirty Harry" Reid, who immediately think of how they can attack the war or the President in this time of people's suffering. Is political posturing always the first thing on their minds? Boxer is a complete mental midget who is as phony as a three dollar bill. Reid is pretty much the same. Don't get me started about California Lt. Governor John Garamendi, who picked up the Democrat lies about the Iraq War starving the National Guard from fire fighting duty. As much as I've disagreed with Gov. Schwarzenkennedy, at least he's tried to act like a leader during this tragedy. If Tom McClintock had been elected Lt. Governor in last year's close race, California would have had an adult serving them instead of child like Garamendi, who is just another buzzard doing Howard Dean's bidding. Remember this past May, after the Kansas tornadoes, that Dean was accused of ordering the Democrat Kansas Governor not to take any action until she heard back from him. Then he attempted to legally strong arm those who were trying to expose this accusation.
Shame on you Barbara Boxer, Harry Reid and John Garamendi. Instead of helping victims, you Democrats only appear, unfortunately, to exploit them at every opportunity.
Then again, if they had any shame, they'd apologize.

If you're able to, please go out and show support for the Berkeley Marine Recruiting Center this Wednesday around noon with my good friend Melanie Morgan, (whom I also want thank for all her generous support over the last year). There's also the memorial service for Spc. Nicholas Olson in Novato this coming Saturday the 13th. I'd definitely be at these events, if I wasn't leaving.
Thanks too, to all of you who've read, linked to and referenced. I will be back around October 25th.

“Shame on the extreme right,” Newsom told The Chronicle (linked from Michelle Malkin). “I am sick and tired of this city being depicted as anti-military. The extreme right exploits the exception, when I believe there is a predominant respect in this city for the military, vets and those serving today.”
The problem is, there's plenty of "the exception" on the Board of Stupidvisors, including one who doesn't think we need a military.
As the old saying goes, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck.....

The most recent happened in Berkeley, a.k.a. "Commietown" as a Marine Recruiting Station has come under attack by Code Pinko. The group has protested outside the office, and defaced it with vile messages as "Officer Assasination (sic) Office" and "Recruiters Lie, Children Die."
"We found out a few days ago and decided to make their lives miserable. We want people to know that it’s here and we want to shut them down," Dianne Budd, an organizer said.
In other words, Code Pinko will use the same Gestapo tactics like their brethren MoveOn.org and Media Matters for Democrat America; silence and suppress people or organizations they are opposed to.
"...You wrote, “Recruiters are Traitors.” Please explain this one. How exactly am I a traitor? Was I a traitor when I joined the Marine Corps all those years ago? Is every Marine, therefore, a traitor? Was I a traitor during my two stints in Iraq? Was I a traitor when I was delivering humanitarian aid to the victims of the tsunami in Sumatra? Or do you only consider me a traitor while I am on this job? The fact is, recruitment is and always has been a part of maintaining any military organization. In fact, recruitment is a necessity of any large organization. Large corporations have employees that recruit full-time. Even you, I’m sure, must expend some effort to recruit for Code Pink. So what, exactly, is it that makes me a traitor?
The fact is this: any independent nation must maintain a military (or be allied with those who do) to ensure the safety and security of its citizens. Regardless of what your opinions are of the current administration or the current conflict in Iraq, the U.S. military will be needed again in the future. If your counter-recruitment efforts are ultimately successful, who will defend us if we are directly attacked again as we were at Pearl Harbor? Who would respond if a future terrorist attack targets the Golden Gate Bridge, the BART system, or the UC Berkeley clock tower? And, to address the most hypocritical stance that your organization takes on its website, where would the peace keeping force come from that you advocate sending to Darfur?
A reader at Michelle Malkin's blog noted how one of the protesters at the Berkeley recruiting office with the Pinkos told a Gold Star Parent, “How does it feel to have your son die for oil?”
For you libs reading this who claim all that is made up, well, I've had the misfortune of having a nasty encounter with a Code Pinko. Two years ago, as my wife and I had dinner in a Santa Cruz restaurant with our then one year old son one of these "ladies" put a pink card on our table. After I exclaimed with a laugh "Hey, it's Code Pinko," we had to have the Pinko thrown out of the establishment. The reason? She had the nerve to say to us, "I'm for the draft and I hope your son doesn't die in the next war."
What I'd like to know, is for all the phony outrage from Democrats about Rush Limbaugh's comments which were taken out of context, why are these same Democrats silent when groups like Code Pinko spew their hate towards our troops. What about the Congressmen who align themselves with this group?
Henry "Nostrils" Waxman helped Code Pinko and Global Exchange ship through Jordan over $600,000 in aid meant for the terrorist insurgent friendly town of Fallujah in late 2004.
And we're not supposed to question their patriotism?

He isn't a good lead guitar player, he sings like he's constipated and acts like a blowhard. His concerts (from what I've heard) are two to three hour exercises of him running his mouth as if he's an expert about everything. He insulted Vietnam veterans with his "Born In The USA" song and tried to wrap it in a Red White and Blue album cover with his butt facing the camera. I never bought his phony "working man's hero" image either. Just look at the ticket prices for his current tour. Tickets for his October 26th Oakland Arena show range from $120 in the nosebleed section, $300 - $1,000 for floor tickets and $15,910 for luxury suite. Take a look at Bruce's demands in a contract rider for a 2002 show.
While he once lectured his audience about how "blind faith in your leaders...will get you killed," he has a blind allegiance to liberal Democrats. In 2004, he was a George Soros/BowelMoveOn.org paid pimp for the pro John Kerry "Vote for Change" tour.
Now, he's whining about being called "unpatriotic" and calls our nation's course over the last six years "anti-American."
"When people think of the Unites States' identity, they don't think of torture. They don't think of illegal wiretapping. They don't think of voter suppression," Springsteen says in an upcoming SeeBS 60 Minutes interview. "They don't think of no habeas corpus. Those are things that are anti-American. There's been a whole series of things that... I never thought I'd ever see in America."
Well Bruce Almighty, has every right to spew his ignorant drivel, just like I have every right to call him unpatriotic and very un-American. Because that's exactly what he is!
Did the genius Springsteen ever read the Constitution? Where does it say that non-citizens of this country who are captured on the battlefield deserve "habeas corpus?" Bruce would be stunned to know of how, in past wars (Civil War, World War I and World War II) the United States spied on enemies and intercepted enemy communications to thwart attacks. I hear more concern by Springsteen, any elected Democrat or these phony human rights groups about "torturing" terrorist detainees, yet they are strangely silent when Americans are gruesomely beheaded on videotape. In short, the hearts of liberals like Springsteen bleed for the terrorists, because they're so consumed with their psychotic partisan hatred for President Bush. We would have suffered 10 more 9/11's in the last six years if we'd followed Springsteen's Marquis of Queensbury rules in fighting al-Queda.
Talk about "voter suppression," how about the way the liberal Democrats whom Springsteen supports always try to disqualify the votes of the military?
So yes, Bruce, you are unpatriotic. You're nothing but a product of the anti-Americanism of the 1960's. But don't just take it from me, take it from a real American in SSG Gardner Andersen, who served on security at Fort Monmouth where you rehearsed for you "The Rising" tour. Andersen posted the following on FreeRepublic.com, personally calling Bruce "unpatriotic."
"You and your entourage treated the soldiers posted at Ft Monmouth like crap. You all felt like the rules didn't apply to you. Newsflash, Mr. Springsteen - everyone had to show ID coming in the gate, even the soldiers. So, despite the fact that I worked with the guys, I flashed my ID coming in the gate just to prove I hadn't lost it."
You and your friends attitude of entitlement sickened me and several of my fellow soldiers. You treated us like we were an annoyance. Well I'm sorry if we annoyed you. It was pretty annoying being on a year long deployment away from our normal lives, too, "Boss."
Now I'll let you in on a little secret - when the soldiers heard you were going to be rehearsing at Pruden, we all thought you might be man enough to entertain a few soldiers with a couple of songs. If you had done that instead of looking down your nose at us, we might have applauded you as a hero. Instead of a minor charity, you and your entourage decided to hassle us.
Only a real unpatriotic ass would treat soldiers like that. This was RIGHT AFTER 9/11. We weren't even in Iraq then. The dust had hardly settled at the WTC.
You are no patriot. You're a typical selfish star.

"We apologize, I apologize to any members of the military that were on this flight and may have experienced some discomfort or perception of disrespect," said Omar Benjamin, executive director of the Port of Oakland. "There was no disrespect intended."
Is that an apology? It sounds to me like Mr. Benjamin said "If you perceived the Oakland International Airport's refusal to let you deplane as an insult, well, we apologize." Especially when, according to the e-mail, this had happened before at the airport.
I think our troops deserve better than the apology offered by the Port of Oakland. How will Oakland ensure that this will not happen again and that our troops are given the respect they deserve?

If Senators Boxer & Feinstein believe, as stated in the Democrat letter, that "those who serve with such great courage deserve our deepest respect and gratitude," then why are they silent when it comes to what happened at Oakland International Airport last week?
As linked here on Saturday, a group of Marines were not allowed to deplane in Oakland, due to "security concerns." This despite the fact that the troops were allowed to deplane at JFK Airport with no problem.
That's because Boxer, Feinstein and the rest of the Senate Democrats do not support the troops. They, as well as their Democrat front groups like Jon Soltz' VoteVets.org only use the troops when it's convenient to accomplish their political means. Other than that, these Democrats conspire to cut off their funding, prevent their ballots from being counted in elections, compare them to "Nazi's, Soviets in the gulags or Pol Pot." That's when they're not accusing them of murdering civilians in Afghanistan or terrorizing women and children in Iraq.
Shame on you, Senators Boxer & Feinstein. You are a disgrace not only to the state you claim to represent, but to the nation as a whole.

Noel Sheppard at Newbusters.org has audio and video from Hillary Clinton's appearance this past August at the YearlyKooks Convention where she said:
"We are certainly better prepared and more focused on, you know, taking our arguments, and making them effective, and disseminating them widely, and really putting together a network, uh, in the blogosphere, in a lot of the new progressive infrastructure, institutions that I helped to start and support like Media Matters and Center for American Progress."
Remember that Center for American Progress is the Clintonoid group who came out with the "structural imbalance" report on talk radio recently, calling for reinstatement of the so-called "Fairness Doctrine." They're not interested in "fairness," they're only interested in shutting up voices who oppose Hillary.
I repeat what I said Saturday, Media Matters should have their 501(c)(3) status investigated due to their close links with Hillary Clinton. These Hillary/Soros groups are a direct threat to the future of our Republic because of their outright attempts to silence opposition via smears and out of context quotes.

Reid said, in part:
"Rush Limbaugh went way over the line – and while we respect his right to say anything he likes, his unpatriotic comments cannot be ignored. During his show last Wednesday, Rush Limbaugh was engaged in one of his typical rants. This rant was unremarkable and indistinguishable from his usual drivel, which has been steadily losing listeners for years (LIE) – until he crossed that line by calling our men and women in uniform who oppose the war in Iraq ‘phony soldiers.’ (LIE) This comment was so beyond the pale of decency that it cannot be left alone. And yet, he followed it up with denials and an attack on Congressman Jack (Off) Murtha, a 37-year active member of the Marine Corps."
This is the same Harry Reid who not only voted against condemning the truly un-American and unpatriotic BowelMoveOn.org "General Betray-Us" ad, but also refused to meet with a Gold Star Mom who supports victory in Iraq.
That's right. On September 15th, I linked to postings on Move America Forward's website how Reid refused to meet with Gold Star Mother Debbie Lee, whose son Marc, was the first Navy Seal killed in Iraq. Instead, "Dirty Harry" sent out his flak, Jim No-So-Manley, who kicked the press out, told Lee, Deborah Johns and Melanie Morgan that "the one thing we all agree on is that we all support our troops,” and said the discussion was over.
And this lowlife coward Reid has the gall to call the great Rush Limbaugh "unpatriotic?" He takes at face value the out-of context words of Rush passed around by David Crock's Media Matters because Reid is bought and paid for by George Soros and BMO.org. Rush Limbaugh does more four our troops in three hours on his number one rated daily radio talk show than Reid has done his entire lifetime. Rush has been to Afghanistan and even has an "Adopt a Soldier" program for military members to enjoy the Rush 24/7 membership of his website on behalf of a subscriber.
What has Harry Reid done for the troops? He tells them the "war is lost." He schemes to deny them money for armaments and set withdrawal dates for the sole benefit of his treasonous Democrat Party. Reid could have gone to the Senate Floor today and condemned the Oakland International Airport for refusing to allow Marines in the terminal. Instead, he attacks a real patriot in Rush Limbaugh and defends another Benedict Arnold in Murtha, who has yet to apologize to the acquitted Marines whom he accused of murdering civilians "in cold blood." In short, Reid has done more for the enemy instead of our nation's bravest men and women.
I called Reid a coward because that's exactly what he is. He's never amounted to anything in his life except being a glorified civil servant (and making crooked million dollar land deals). Can you imagine Harry Reid as a football coach? If his team was losing by only three points at halftime, he'd pull them off the field and forfeit the game to the other team. If he'd served in George Patton's Third Army, Reid would have been tried and court-martialed for cowardice in the face of the enemy.
Speaking of "phony," Harry Reid is a phony Senator who only follows the whims of his puppet masters, not the best interests of our nation.
