Photos From Move America Forward Rally Outside Nancy Pelosi's Office

--Welcome Move America Forward supporters!(M.I.M.)

Patriots from all over the Bay Area gathered outside Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco office to send her and "Dirty Harry" Reid a loud message: We support our troops and will not accept cut, run and surrender.

A strong crowd showed up at 450 Golden Gate Ave. in San Francisco this afternoon to stand up for our troops and the completion of their mission on the third stop of Move America Forward's "Fight for Victory Tour."

The tour began this morning outside Harry Reid's office in Carson City, NV and is headed to Washington D.C. for a huge pro-troop rally September 15th, with several stops along the way. The rally is in response to the International ANSWER's surrender-to-the-terrorists rally being held that same day, as well as to support Gen. David Petreus' as he gives his report on the progress being made in Iraq by our brave men and women.

Here are some of the sights from Monday afternoon.

There were no counterprotests from San Francisco's Left in the time I was there. I assumed they were still stoned from yesterday's Summer of Love 40th Anniversary concert at Golden Gate Park.

It was a great day in San Francisco among patriots showing support for our troops.

Looks like a great crowd of 25 people or so, keep up the good work! Maybe by 9/15 we can get up to 50 people who believe that Iraq and 9/11 are actually connected. I don't smoke pot, you just weren't even a blip on anyones radar.

Seriously though, I am offended, I support my family members in Iraq. I do not support them dying without a plan.

Supporting the war is not equal to supporting the troops, and I really get tired of hearing the two equated. My father, who made it all the way up to Senior Master Sergeant before retiring after 20 years of service in the Air Force, does not support the continuation of the Iraq war, and neither do many of his friends (some of whom are in Iraq). I take it they're self-hating traitors?

Must have been an amazing day. I am so happy to see that a handfull people still believe in the 9/11 and Iraq connection. And if anyone wants to question the utter mess Iraq is, the complete lack of planning and forward thinking just play the 9/11 card - so grown up and intellectual. Oh and if you do want to gain more the 5 morons that turned up, I suggest heading to Texas as they are more on your page.

To me, supporting the troops is bringing them back home alive. It means making sure the VA hospital the injured go back to Stateside is not full of germs, cockroaches and rats. Supporting the troops mean not cutting veterans benefits in order to find more money for the war. Supporting the troops means not voting for the candidate or party that got them and us in this mess already. Supporting the troops means competitive bidding for contractors coupled with accountability for the tax payer's money so that the support system for the troops (infrastructure and so on) is not undermined. Supporting the troops means pulling out and stopping the crippling debt which the war is putting on our countrymen's backs and the troops backs too (~$450,000,000,000!!!!)

Disagreement with the president is neither treason nor unpatriotic. In fact, Theodore Roosevelt put it best when he said that the most patriotic thing an American can do is question their leadership.

Also, to Todd Anthony: Falujah is a battlefield. You know, that place where IEDs go off and permanently cripple the troops you want to support? Where Iraqi civilians are dying en mass after "Mission Accomplished"? A battlefield is most certainly not counter-culture friendly San Francisco. Get a grip on reality.

The most telling photo is the one of the guy holding a sign saying "THIS IS WHY WE'RE AT WAR" with pictures of the 9/11 attacks. Enough with the oversimplistic pro-war nonsense based on false information! Even Bush has now admitted there was no Iraq-9/11 connection. Get this through your heads: IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11...IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11...IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11...IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11...IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9/11!!!

al-Qeada is in Iraq. If we cut and run it would be bad for the Iraqi people, the region and the USA. We need to support our troops and their mission. We can leave Iraq a country that can govern, sustain and defend itself and be an ally in the war against Islamo-Fascism. But only if the American people really have the will to succeed.
